My family and I visited Ireland in November and stayed at the College Green Hotel. We had a lovely stay. We arrived early in the morning so our rooms weren’t quite ready. They took our luggage and we went upstairs where they have a bar and seating area with bathrooms available while we waited. I can’t remember the name of the restaurant. We had connecting rooms with our kids. My kids had 2 queen beds and a sofa and my husband and I had a king size bed. Both rooms were spacious, clean and smelled nice upon arrival. The bathrooms were great, really good water pressure. I didn’t see an electrical outlet for my heating tools in the bathroom but luckily there were enough long mirrors by the bedroom that I could sit by while I fixed my hair. The lighting was not that great for applying my makeup but that’s just personal preference. The beds and pillows were very comfy. There is a mini bar with various drinks, alcohol and snacks available for purchase. The mini bar does cool in case anybody needs to take medication that needs refrigeration. There’s not a lot of space but you can probably squeeze insulin in there or something of that sort. I wish I would have known that so I could have taken mine. It’s nothing that I need to take (glp1) so it was fine to skip it for that week. The working desk was really small, probably because it’s not to work lol but we have a business and we work on vacation and I’m sure a lot of folks do too. We managed though. Housekeeping was great. The staff at the hotel was the best! From the reception by the doorman and the front desk staff both made check in a breeze! Everyone was professional, courteous and helpful! Especially helpful was Luis, Tiago and David at the concierge desk who helped planted all my tours, got us a driver and helped with dinner and ticket reservations! They deserve my utmost appreciation for making my whole stay enjoyable.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the College Green Hotel Dublin. I was looking for a 5-star hotel for a special long weekend, and chose the College Green because of its location in the heart of the city with so much in walking distance. We were not disappointed at all. We had a lovely junior suite on the corner of College Street and Westmoreland, with a view of Trinity College. Despite the location, the room was pretty quiet, with little street noise. The appointments were what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. And the breakfast buffet was excellent.

A true hotel treat!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the College Green Hotel in Dublin. The concierge staff went out of their way to help my wife with reservations, questions, etc. Breakfasts were excellent and the room was spotless. My only, very minor, complaint was that there are no drawers in the room for storing clothes, etc. I like to unpack when I am staying multiple nights and it was not possible here. Very minor, however!! We would come back.

This hotel is perfect in every way! We loved our stay. As an FYI, if you have a car, they have valet (35 euros/night) which is located on the side of the hotel on Fleet Street - BUT THERE ARE NO SIGNS. So you just pull up to the \"Set Down Area\" - there is a small 12\"x 9\" sign on the building wall. The concierge will see you on his camera and come out for your luggage & park your car for you. I would recommend the hotel reach out to their guests and ask if they will have a car to park and then send this type of information to them. Maybe a photo of the area too as it is quite unclear.

We stayed two nights at this hotel on non-consecutive days. The first night was fabulous - everything was wonderful. The second night we were in a different room on a floor below at a level less than what I had paid for as the only room available on the fourth floor was next to an elevator. All of this was fine except that we could not get the room temperature down to a comfortable level. They offered us a fan which helped somewhat, but we could not get the room down to a level that we needed for a comfortable sleep. Otherwise, we loved the hotel, and especially the fabulous bathtubs.

Great location near bars and restaurants, however, area is extremely filthy and smells like urine due to the proximity of the hotel to Temple Bar area. Additionally, there is no close self parking and if you use google maps for driving, it takes you to the Hard Rock hotel not the Westin and there is no direct or easy way to reroute. The front staff of the Westin is well aware of the google map GPS error but no urgent action has been taken to correct. You must use the valet option to park car at 30 pounds. Inside the room, the main bathroom sink was clogged and very limited late night dining options after 11 pm inside the hotel and around the area as the area turns into a homogeneous open bar. Would not recommend.

The hotel is lovely and most of the employees were extremely helpful and kind. We did find the restaurant and bar employees were less helpful, and less attentive. My biggest issue with the hotel, was the \"cleaning\" of our rooms each day. It appeared the bare minimum was done, which was to make the beds and bring fresh towels...bathrooms were not cleaned.

We came to celebrate our 10th Saint Patrick’s Day wedding Anniversary. The Westin Dublin made it an EXPERIENCE! Every single member of the staff was beyond accommodating and kind. We felt like royalty. We had a beautiful view of the Saint Patrick’s Day parade from our suite that overlooked Westmoreland and didnt miss a thing! We were surprised with anniversary desserts brought to our room and everyone from the front desk staff that checked us in and out to the concierge staff to room service to housekeeping to the restaurants and bar were above measure!! They all remember your name and go out of their way to personalize your stay. Absolutely 5 stars all across the board! We met so many wonderful people and cant wait to come back for our 15th Anniversary. We cant thank each and every one there for an incredible stay. Dont change a thing! And a special thanks to Chloe, who manages The Mint (bar on the premises); you truly made our stay a joy!

Central, comfortable, friendly luxury

Westin is centrally located, very convenient base when exploring Dublin via walking. It is our go to hotel…great value for the money and luxurious, comfy beds with great darkening drapes to crush the jet lag or recover from a night of bar hopping or indulging at one of the many fabulous cocktail bars. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

We were given a VERY dark and outdated room with subpar bedding and towels. Then, the air conditioning would not work. They moved us to a more updated room; however, NO air conditioning. It was two night’s of miserable sleep. When I asked multiple members of the staff….I was told…we can get you a fan????? Not why I paid this price. I will NEVER come back to this hotel nor will I EVeR recommend it. They could have cared less about us.

Check in was a breeze until we get to the room and wait and wait and wait for the bags. After several calls, we had to come downstairs to get them to bring up the bags. Then the sink in one of the rooms was clogged and not draining and the shower in the same room was not draining. They sent someon after severl calls that pulled had to get a tool to pull the draining mechanisim out of the sink but they said the shower was fine. When we would shower, it would not drain and fill up the shower and pour over into the bathroom. After several calls they said that engineering wasnt there and it would have to be fixed tomorrow so they brought up a bunch of towels to make a dam in the bathroom to hold in the water which was leaking into the bedroom. Next day after returning to the room from a siteseeing the drain had not been fixed in the shower and they said engineering had been notified but nothing had happened. So they sent more towels for the night and said it would be fixed the next day. We turned our laundry in that day to have it delivered to us by 6pm as promised. Laundry at 6:30pm had not showed up and after many calls they finally found it and delivered it at 7pm which made us miss our dinner reservations. Shower still flooding. Next day, same thing, went out, got back to hotel room, shower still flooding. I demanded manager. They said engineering was gone for the day they suggested more towels. I demanded a plunger... This store has 2 more days or nightmare...
