One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Staff were fantastic, it was clean, breakfast amazing, bar attached to hotel with music and quiet areas. Could leave suitcases on last day. Locations was great. Definitely stay again. Couldn’t recommend it enough!!!!! Amazing hotel

Deluxe room pretty shabby, no fridge in the room, dust in the wardrobe, blinking lights. Old heating unit that didn’t work. For 250eur it wasn’t a very pleasant experience. Also very noisy area. If you have a room facing the street you won’t get any sleep as the party life is crazy on the street. Some members of the staff were helpful but overall not great experience 😢

Perfectly located hotel! You can walk pretty much everywhere. Great restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, and the main tourist attractions are all within a 15-minute walk. Plus, the hotel staff is super helpful.

The staff was very nice but there were flies in the room and the carpet smelled like mold. I’m not sure how it got a 4 star but it was more like a 2 star hotel.

The towels looked unclean.

The sound barrier to the outside street was probably the worst I have experienced. I could literally hear people vomiting outside and I was on the third floor. Location is great but I wouldn’t come back here again.

First room we were assigned too was covered in mold. The light on the ceiling was covered in dust and someone had written clean me in it with their finger. It was honestly disgusting. They moved us to another room but had to split up our group of 3 into 2 rooms which they didn’t give us conjoining and first wanted to give us a downgraded room which we declined.

The staff and location were great but our room had a ceiling leak that we reported and was never fixed. It looked like the leak had been going on for a while as carpet was really wet and mold was a concern. Because it was a holiday weekend, the hotel was booked so no other rooms were available.

The staff was absolutely amazing. They were so kind and friendly every time we walked through the door or through the lobby. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and it was very convenient. Something to note is they do have a bar/club attached to the property so it is loud until about 2 AM. We were on the bottom floor facing the street.

It's December. The room temperature thermometer has a 25 degree maximum, except it is centrally overridden. So 25deg in room is actually capped at around 21.5 degrees. If the outside temperature drops to freezing the room would drop belwo 20degrees maxdegrees. It is 21 degrees maximum, so the room is cold.

We booked a twin room and we were provided a room to accommodate mobility needs which has a standard double bed and essentially a camp bed thrown in the corner of the room which was far from adult size. The bathroom was huge and designed for access needs with no shower enclosure. It also had really strong and unpleasant aroma as though the room was jet washed in bleach. The hotel was lively the staff were very friendly but not sure I’d go back for the price paid.

Staff member at the desk actually lied to us when we came down after first night complaining about loud music till 2am. Said he didnt know where it came from, that it wasn't from the pub, and he couldnt do anything for us as regards getting a quieter room. Phone in room was broken when we tried at about midnight so we couldnt call down.

Found out second night - phone working drom night crew that noise was from the pub.

talked to nanager after second sleepless night and he moved us to a quiet riom.

Wonderful time, safe and very clean! Convenient location to all the big attractions! I was a single female traveling alone and I felt comfortable with the Hotel in every way! I will stay there again next time and probably every time I come to Dublin! Staff were all helpful and excellentI I had to use the laundry services and my clothes came back clean and smelling wonderful! I could not be happier with my entire experience there! Excellent all around, thank you!

Room was clean. But I noticed mold on the curtain when I went to close them. After showering the room got very damp and stayed that way. A heater of some sort in the bathroom would fix that situation. Bed was comfortable location was perfect with everything we wanted to do.

The Temple Bar Hotel was a fantastic place to stay and experience with friends. The food at the hotel was great for breakfast and the dining options all around Temple Bar area were great as well. Good things first: Amazing person at checkin who arranged for my room and was a v kind and friendly gentleman. Room was perfect ! I had requested for foam beddings due to allergies which was made available. I spent a lot of time at the Buskers bar which is total knockout place & special shout out to every single staff there who are extra caring and friendly; tried many drinks, great food, desserts over my 9 nights stay. The location is unbeatable. Very lively and busy
Cons: the housekeeping needs to step up their game. Washroom sink was not cleaned even once over my 9 nights of stay, the floor wasnt cleaned everyday, room was missing coffee refills and clean cups andi had to go hunt down people for it; the room wasnt vacuumed everyday so after the initial few days i was hit hard by my allergies in a carpeted room which cud have been avoided had the housekeeping staff being little careful. Not everyone checks in with allergy alerts repeatedly notified over 3 months . Another issue is the AC. I had to call a couple of times to get them to set my room to “cool” mode and at 20C because my hot flashes cause me to overheat and then fall sick. They usually have the fans on without the cooling going.

The staff in general were professional specially the receptionists. They were able to give us some information/ suggestions on restaurants/ pubs and places we can visit. I requested for a refrigerator in our room and it was delivered within 10 minutes. Breakfast buffet was good. The hotel is located within walking distance to a lot of attractions/ museums, shopping, pubs/restaurants are just few minutes away and there’s one in the hotel too. Bus stop and trams are few minutes walk. Will definitely recommend and stay in this hotel when in Dublin.

We had the family room and it was a very good size room with lots of space considering it had a double and two single beds. The room was very clean.

The only niggle we found was that the shower wasn’t very powerful and we struggled with washing our hair.

Great location, central to all the pubs, cafes, shops in Temple Bar. Helpful staff. More 3.5 star than 4 star quality, but comfortable and reasonable value. Some noise from busy entertainment area, but not bad and some noise is likely in most areas in the city.

Pros: The location of the hotel put us in the middle of everything. Nightlife is lively.

Cons:.The shower went hot and cold involuntary and the noise was too much on Saturday night (the hotel gives earplugs, but that doesn't help).
