My check-in experience was extremely disappointing. When I arrived at the hotel and walked up to the front desk, Jestin and Nacho didn’t greet me at all—not even a simple “hi.” They didn’t even look at me.
I stood at the counter for quite a while, yet both of them continued chatting with each other, completely ignoring my presence and leaving me waiting there.
It wasn’t until about five minutes later that they finally started the check-in process. For a hotel front desk, this level of service and lack of basic courtesy is really unprofessional.
Overall, my first impression of the hotel was severely affected. I genuinely hope the hotel will address this issue and improve the service quality of its staff.

TV in room could be better allowing to play apps like YouTube / Nextflix etc.

Our studio apartment was perfect for 2 adults and a child and the small kitchen was a useful addition. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

This was not reminiscent of the first time we stayed with Staycity. The room had a smell of cigarette , some of the staff were pleasant but a lot of them were not, one of the elevators were broken, tv didn’t work properly, tried to use the microwave and it started smoking, and now they are nickle and diming guests for use of an umbrella. Also we were charged 20 euro for a minor early check in, the room was ready .. was it necessary to add the charge? We did just fly 3000 miles to be there. Also are quiet times regulated at all?? Loud party type noise in hallways outside our room in all hours randomly.

The hotel was in a great location & a good spacious room, however, we arrived at 15:05 and were told our room was not ready- we then had to wait 50 minutes for our room to become available.
The reception staff were very apologetic & did offer a free drink and late checkout, but paying £280 for one night in a hotel room is extremely expensive, especially when we can’t get in our room when we had plans for the early evening.

This was the perfect place for a longer stay (or for people who prefer to make their own food for dietary or budget reasons). It was awesome to have the amenities of a hotel paired with the conveniences of being home, and the employees we encountered all gave fantastic service. The location was conveniently close to everything we needed without being in the heart of the party area, however it was a bit rough outside with homeless people hanging outside the hotel in the seating areas on the ground floor which was the only downside. I would recommend more security being employed to give a safer atmosphere and keep the outside cleaner (there was frequently garbage and pee outside), or to consider booking a stay with StayCity at one of the other locations in Dublin.

Our day in Dublin was good.

Our checkout was not good. I paid for a late check out and was not honored that late check out after I paid in advance. The hotel manager on the day that we were checking out said that he would credit that back to me since he could not honor it and he did not do that. I will be contacting the hotel directly about this because the fee was expensive.

Nacho was Amazing! He was personable and fun to interact with. He definitely had hospitality skills and should be trusted with high end consumers.

We lived this place and only had a bad experience at check out when the manager told us he could not honor what i paid for and lied about refunding me.

Nice property but disappointing room size & coffee

Overall, the property is beautifully designed and the staff was wonderful. We also really enjoyed the location, as well as the lobby and gym.

That said, we were quite surprised by the size of the rooms, which wasn’t clear from the photos. We had a unit with a pull-out sofa, and once it was extended, the space became very tight—we found ourselves needing to rearrange furniture and squeeze around just to move through the room.

We were also surprised by the need to purchase additional coffee pods. For a four-night stay, it would have been nice to have complimentary replenishment, especially since we were paying nearly twice the standard rate due to the American Football Game. This small detail ended up feeling a bit unnecessarily nitpicky.

If it’s just you and a normal rate, I’d say this place is a win. If you are traveling with a child, it might be tight.

I loved almost everything about staying at this hotel. It was exceptionally quiet despite being within easy walking distance of pretty much everything we wanted to see in Dublin. My only reason for giving it four instead of five stars was that the room was quite small and the kitchen was incredibly tiny. There wasn’t much room for anything. It’s hard to imagine staying here with more than two people. Other than this one drawback, we truly enjoyed staying here and I would definitely recommend it!

Our room at StayCity was a good size and had everything -- including dishes and silverware, which was awesome. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff could not have been more kind and helpful. The area is quiet yet walking distance to the best shopping, pubs, and attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

Good spot

Convenient to train station and many tourist attractions. The people were nice and breakfast was good. Room was clean but smaller than I expected. The bed size and count were accurate to description but there wasn’t a lot of space to maneuver.

Overall, I recommend but know that the rooms may be small.

This property is in a great location! Easy to walk to all tourist hot spots, bus stops and train station.
Front desk staff were all very helpful - directions, fresh towels, etc
The room is cozy but has everything you need including mini fridge (with freezer and ice cube tray), toaster, kettle, small stove top (with all pots/pans, dishes, cutlery) and dishwasher.
There is even a grocery store steps away!
Would definitely stay here again

Great location. Just a short flat walk to Trinity College, Grafton Street and O’Connell Street. Room is large, it has a small kitchenette with a bar fridge and its own air conditioning unit that you can set to your preferred temperature. Very good.

The hotel is well located. Easy walk to tour bus pick ups, food and all of the popular places to visit in Dublin. You can order food from the restaurant downstairs. The staff were great! The court yard area was very loud. The building access from our room seemed like resident apartments with very messy balcony’s and very noisy people. There was absolutely NO view of anything.

The apartment was clean and tidy and had all the amenities you could need for a long weekend.

We found the location very convenient from the airport and was around 20 mins walk to Temple Bar and around 30 mins from the airport and the Dublin Express drops off around 1 minute from the apartments

Great staff, shame about the size of the room

the main drawback with Staycity is that although there are well provided kitchen facilities - including pots and pans - I would not want to cook anything there as there is no space. Therefore it is only really suitable for a one night stay, and unfortunately because of the provision of the kitchen there was no room for a wardrobe, a sideboard, or even bedside tables which was inconvenient even for one night . Apart from that, the service was excellent, and Nacho in particular was very helpful over the parking issue when we were unable to deliver our hire car back because of the depot being closed and we needed to find somewhere to park in a hurry. All the staff were very friendly and helpful
