The location is perfect, central without being noisy and easy to walk to everything but close to loads of public transport links if that's what you're after. The property is clean, beautifully decorated, not just the rooms but all the communal hotel areas. The staff were all pleasant and helpful and our room was lovely. Great to have a living area and kitchen which we didn't plan on using but ended up having a few leisurely breakfasts there. It was so clean and very well appointed, which made it nice to come home to after lots of walking. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We appreciated the location of this hotel - walking distance to pubs and activities but not in a noisy area. The washer/ dryer came in handy - it took a long time, so plan accordingly. We also liked the divided space in the unit. it was a little hot in the room, but we were able to get a fan so that helped a bit

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing. The location is perfect for anything you would want to do in Dublin. The property is clean, beautifully decorated, and welcoming. The staff was wonderful, and our room was absolutely incredible. It was so clean and very well appointed, which made it nice to come home to after long days of Tours. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Located north of Temple Bar (Dublin's Bourbon Street) on opposite bank of the river in location convenient to shopping and bus, tram, and express-to-airport transportation. Excellent room interiors, new, modern. Washer, kitchenette, dishwasher, excellent bathroom. Coffee, bar, restaurant (stays open later than most) located on bottom floor. Long worktable on bottom floor for digitized travelers. Vibe is for grown-up backpackers transformed into business people with money. Not your father's Hilton. Fun quirky and like-able.

The location is very near the Ha'Penny Bridge and is very convenient to busses, taxis, museums, shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. The room was very nicely set up with a large refrigerator, cooktop and oven, dishes and most importantly a washer/dryer combo. The room is quiet and close to the heart of the city.

I like the Locke hotel properties so selected this location for my first trip to Dublin.
The staff were helpful, the location was convenient and the restaurant good was excellent.

However, it is located on a gritty, noisy neighborhood. There was no cleaning, so I had to ask for toilet paper and clean towels. The cleaner acted like it was an imposition to provide clean towels. Bad attitude.

For the room rate, I expected more.

I could have spent a month in this spacious studio. Spacious, well designed and absolutely wonderful. Comfy bed. Good shower. New.
Lobby, bar and coffee shop were great. Directly across the river from Temple Bar, so walkable to just about everything. Parking in the Jervos st parcade 1 block away.

Most rooms face a under construction building. The host kindly accepted to change my room for a quieter one. However I was woken up at 5 am by people partying loudly.

Expedia doesn’t like me saying this hotel was “Not my cup of tea.” so I’m forced to write more. I’m glad the Zanzibar hotel wasn’t to my liking which forced me to go elsewhere: the Hilton in Kilmainham was wonderful and a better location for pets. Within a ten minute walk, The Zanzibar only had small patches of ground around the base of the trees across the street for visiting pets to do their business. Not only did the Hilton have very much larger patches of ground, but a huge park across the street. Yes, I looked at Google Maps before booking but the street view gave me a newer image which showed the green space behind the Zanzibar was now developed. I lost the money for a four or five day stay, but had peace of mind and a good stay at Hilton. Thanks Zanzibar Hotel!

You are paying to be close to most of the tourist attractions and restaurants.
You are not paying for daily room cleaning (including having to deal with your own garbage).
The place was decently clean, quiet and was nice to not have to eat out for all meals with a small kitchen and some basic appliances.
Laundry for a long stay was appreciated also.
The gym was small, hot and had 2 cardio machines.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
For the cost I would stay elsewhere in the future.

The staff were exceptional. They provided excellent ideas for great places to eat and have a drink outside of the Temple Bar Tourist Area. (Recommend you try out Murray’s and the Snug at Lotts)

The room was great although a little dark (there were 6 lights but none of them were very bright.)

Linda was super nice and welcoming when I arrived. Location was exceptional and right in the middle of city center.
Breakfast was included with my stay which was a nice surprise.
A few things to be aware of:
- sorry to say but the vending machine was a complete rip off (5 eur for a small bag of popcorn)- walk to the little convenient store about 3 mins around the corner for whatever you need - popcorn was 1.90 eur
- Netflix was not on my tv. Had to set it up via my phone every time I used it and had to use phone controls vs tv remote. First time doing that…very frustrating.
- you cannot call the front desk - only message them via WhatsApp or text I think. To their credit they usually answer in a few mins
There is a coffee shop, bar and restaurant on site. The coffee shop starts shutting down their espresso machine about 20 mins prior to their actual closing time
Bar tender could be more welcoming. All in all I would probably stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. We had a studio room - kitchen was high spec - full size fridge freezer, oven, microwave, hob and washing machine. For us - we love the option of cooking, a lazy breakfast or after long day. We felt so relaxed the whole time. Hotel is in the perfect location for exploring the whole city. AirPort Express bus stops within walking distance so travel to and from was super easy. Would 100% recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

My room had a kitchenete (with sink), laundry machine, living room and dining table for 1. I love how there's plenty of hangers and hooks in the room and the bathroom. There was enough counter space too for toiletries in the bathroom. Highly recommend it.

It is just a few steps away from the Ha'penny Bridge and even a Catholic chapel! The location is an icing on the cake.

The location could not have been more perfect. Everything was basically within a 10 minute or less walk. The Ha’Penny bridge is literally right there. We also loved having the coffee shop in the lobby, it was great not having to leave the building in the morning to get a coffee and a snack. Keep in mind that there is construction during the day (we didn’t really notice it too much) and of course you’re right across the street from Temple Bar so it can be noisy at night but again, we hardly noticed especially with the windows closed. We will recommend this spot to anyone visiting Dublin!

Communication needs improvement however.
I booked and pre paid months in advance, explaining to them via email that I booked the night before arrival so we could have a 6:00 am check in.
They did confirm my request and apparently put a note on my file.
When we arrived at check in our room had been canceled as a no show.
Thankfully they were able to get us rebooked in a comparable room.
Not a great start to our trip.
