We found this hotel's design and quieter location to be the star.. so much so that we'll return.

The architecture and design is quite good (save for my comment below) - our room was a very comfortable modest king in the warehouse - with warm brick, lovely parquet floor, wood panel, and polished concrete finishes. Room contained a nice collection of amenities (though note - no iron in room) & TV with full compliment of channels & access to streaming.

A hair dryer is available in the room, but not coupled with a well-conceived outlet location. We've found this to be a common oversight on the Island. Why is it that hotels in Ireland cannot offer an outlet near a mirror? (My wife suggests that not a single woman has been involved in the vetting of Ireland's hotel room design.)

Unfortunately, Ryleigh's rooftop restaurant was closed for a private party at dinnertime (quite honestly, was an annoyance) - thankfully everything in Dublin is walkable & well connected via bus/streetcar. We enjoyed breakfast the next morning overlooking the river.

If you enjoy architecture and design - this hotel offers a very nice option.

Overall the hotel was great. Beautiful, modern and clean. My only negative was the size of the room. We knew it would be small (we chose the Warehouse Cosy room) but it was just too tight. That was on us. We should have booked the next largest room. But the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was beautiful, with great views, and the food was very good. We were hoping to check out the bar and the pool but we just ran out of time. The location was good for our sightseeing needs. It's a bit of a walk to to the Temple Bar area and other attractions, but we enjoyed walking along the river and through the city, exploring along the way. Didn't have to park since we rented our car after our stay there.

The property is very central and well-maintained. Super friendly staff. The bar, restaurants and coffee shop are all wonderful, and it's extremely convenient to have all the amenities in the hotel. This is one of those hotels that does not have closets, drawers, or hangers in the room. There are pegs where you can drape things from the wall, but that's it. I stayed in a studio room, which I imagine is the tiniest one they offer, and it is *tiny.* This is an awesome location and great amenities if you're planning to be out and about for most of your trip, and you're packing light!

The room is very small with no space for luggages. My husband was very creative to put our luggages under the bed. It was our first time ever. Room had been renovated but not quite functional. The bathroom door got stuck and the faucet is too low. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. Location is good and maybe this is the reason I paid high price for the weekend.

Our room was hilariously small but it was a dream! We picked their smallest room and it was COMPACT but absolutely perfect. The view was just of the next building as they did construction, but who cares. We were exhausted international travelers and they let us check into our room early which was EVERYthjng. We had the best macchiatos in the lobby, too!

The staff is so kind, friendly, and accommodating. Martin, Lali, and Marina were an absolute delight. They accommodated a last minute request and made sure our luggage’s were sent to both rooms. Lali even took my luggage downstairs and bought me a coffee <3
I do recommend having some fans for the rooms with no ac, but other than that everything was clean, smelling good, well decorated and I’d go back there anytime.

Where do I begin? I want to say this hotel is a pig with lipstick on but that would be an insult to pigs. Rooms are moldy, in disrepair, and floors and bathrooms are grimey. Toilet could barely manage to flush some toilet paper even after 3+ flushes. We would wake up freezing because the heater wouldn’t keep running. No fan to speak of so there is mold. However, when the occupants in the rooms above/nearby us showered, our room would fill with humidity to the point where we had to open the sliding glass door to get fresh air (even though we were already cold due to heater issues). Additionally, another effect of there being no fan, while I was blow drying my hair, apparently some silent alarm went off so we had staff banging on our door claiming we set the alarm off for the whole building? Then proceeded to tell me not to sit under the faire alarm while drying my hair, as if I have a choice? It’s one small room and there is no outlet in the bathroom.
The lady who checked us in was completely confused and acted like it was her first day.. on Earth. The bar on ground floor plays karaoke until past midnight, good luck trying to sleep through that. Gym was closed. I could go on but I’m running out of characters. Also, I know this wasn’t a one-off because we were staying here with friends, they had all the same issues, tried to complain and move rooms, and still had the same issues in the new room!
The only pros: bed was nice and comfy, and the coffee shop in the lobby is good.

This hotel was a gem! Tucked away on the riverfront, this hotel was a perfect landing place upon arriving in Ireland for the first time. The bus from the airport was a straight shot and took less than 15 minutes. I thought I would check my bag (which they offer) and explore the city as I arrived in the early morning, and the normal check-in time is not until the afternoon. But Martin, the wonderful human at the front desk, had a room ready for me right away! The rooms are small but have everything you need with over-the-top interior design throughout the property. After a full day of exploring the city, I asked the front desk if there was any way to dine in the hotel restaurant. With their assistance, I was able to score a table on the patio with a view of the river for dinner. Dino, the waiter, was delightful. After the lovely meal, I took advantage of the hotel pool, sauna, and steam room in the basement, which were clean, the staff was friendly, and the changing room was well-appointed. Before returning to my room and crawling into a large, clean bed. I had an absolutely great time from start to finish of my stay!

Funky hotel! We loved it the only slight whinge (note, it’s slight) is that the bedroom was so small that you could only get out of one side of the bed! Also, when the curtains were open the workmen from the building across the way could see into our room. That’s 2 whinges. The location is great. The Ryleigh restaurant is wonderful. We would return but pay for a bigger room.

Pool is really a huge hot tube with only one spot where bubbles work. Gym looked nice. Great steam sauna.

The Mayson is a fine hotel, but for touring Dublin it is a bit removed so keep that in mind if planning to walk.

The staff tried their best to be helpful, but they also double charged us, gave us incorrect/confusing parking instructions which caused us to get stuck in a parking garage.

It’s very evidently a hotel catered to the neighboring concert arena, not touring the city.

The room a (deluxe dbl) clean and modern......but there was only access at one side and at the bottom of the bed approx 600mm. No drawers for clothes, no wardrobe just a coat rail with 6 hangers. as we were only there for 2 nights we were travelling light, we managed. Room does not lend itself to suitcase travellers. Also floor to ceiling windows, unable to open curtains as building work in full operation opposite. Shower excellent. Bar staff all friendly and chatty (Morgan) a wee gem, gave us a few hints and tips on where to go and how to get around the city, also check out staff were excellent. We had an issue with the TV in our room which was not rectified during our stay, I mentioned it on checkout and Amber and Michael came up with a little apology we could not refuse. If and when we return, I think a larger room will be a must.

If you don't or aren't able to get one of the 5 spots at 25 euros the only other spaces are outside, if you can get one but there's only a 3 hour limit. I enjoyed the steamroom too and all this a walk away from the hussle and bussle of the city. Another plus was the airport bud stops really close by (1st stop) and theres aplenty options for other food or supermarkets nearbyby.

Clean room. Nice thermal suite (not a swimming pool) and well-equipped gym. BUT- very small room at just 15 sqm, so couldn’t get past the double bed to open the curtains. Card slot was behind the door with no lighting to see where to insert the card- used phone torch in the end. The hotel was really beautiful, the decor is lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. The rooms weren’t huge but they were very well decorated and had everything we needed. The only slight issue was that the water in both the shower and the sink didn’t drain properly, so the shower was flooding and leaving water all over the floor. The hotel bar and coffee shop was great and everything is within walking distance of Temple Bar or easily accessible buses. Would definitely recommend!

The staff were lovely and the main areas of the hotel were gorgeous. Great location.
Unfortunately, there was a big open vent in our room that was dusty and letting in a draft and noise. There was also some dust in the bathroom. Not much toilet roll and very noisy at night. The room was very small, too and didn’t feel worth the price unfortunately which is a shame because the hotel itself was beautiful and everyone was kind and helpful.

The Mayson was in a good part of Dublin, just around 20 minutes away from \"central\" Dublin. You could easily walk to the city centre, but I found the buses to be easily navigable. The room I stayed in was pretty clean, but I noticed lots of dust on the floor, which wasn't a big issue. It might have just been the time that I was staying there, but I could hear a lot from outside of the hotel and inside as well. However, I would come back despite these minor things.

This is a bias review because I brought my kids. I will start by saying the staff, hotel, and amenities were really nice! However, I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone bringing children with them. All the restaurants are always booked and they only allow kids under 16 to use the pool for very limited hours during the middle of the day. Also, if you rented a car for your trip absolutely do not stay at this hotel, the parking situation not convenient at all (it is off site and a good walk, plus they charge a hefty price per night). Again, overall the hotel was very very nice, but absolutely not a good hotel for children.

Absolutely loved this location, and hotel. We started our 11 day trip with 2 nights at this hotel and while the rooms are small, they're cozy, comfortable and well stocked. I loved the view of the canal. There was construction right next to us, but they didn't get started too early.
I loved the restaurant and enjoyed some nice cocktails before we had a wonderful late night dinner. The location is super walkable to lots of wonderful views and pubs, and there was always a taxi for hire outside. I would definitely stay here again!

In addition, the shower drain was very poor, and you were left in standing in several inches of water by the time you were done. Only there one night, but the attached restaurants were always busy. Our room was clean and comfortable but oh so tiny - I know it was classed as a 'comfy' room but there was so little space. Couldn't walk around the bed, there was nowhere to put our bags which made the lack of space worse, and the shower room and loo were really constrained. A great shame as I hoped this would be a great finish to our stay in Ireland - and we were actually a bit disappointed considering the amount this cost. Over 200 Euros for one night, and breakfast not even included? Not great value

Lovely hotel with good facilities. The rooms are small but cozy and quite comfortable.

The pool is a small, relaxing pool with jets, perfect for a chill out time and with a sauna and steam room. The gym looked busy and well equipped.

I would say that the noise from the rooftop bar was the only thing I found a bit of a downside, so if you’re a light sleeper you would want to be on a lower floor.

The staff at reception were lovely and they even gave me a glass of bubbly for my birthday.

The hotel is really well situated for events at the nearby CCD conference centre. Thanks for a great stay.

I stayed here with a friend and had an amazing time! There were plenty of dining options right inside the hotel, and the views from the upper levels were stunning.

We stayed in the cozy room—it was incredibly comfortable, though perhaps a little too cozy for sharing with a friend—but overall, it was wonderful. Next time I return to Dublin, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

The swimming pool and gym were exceptional—truly impressive for a hotel located in the city center.

Hotel beautiful. I booked the Cozy Room, don’t even bother unless you are 1 single person staying one night. The room is so small cannot put a suitcase anywhere, had to open it on the bed. I was staying two nights with my partner and asked to upgrade as it was just not practical for us.

We ended up upgrading two levels to the TownHouse Super and it was incredibly spacious, old style furniture and felt incredible. That room I recommend for sure!!!

Just there for an overnight. Wish we would have stayed longer. Didn't get a chance to eat there, or use the sauna. We'll definitely go back!
