The room was nicely decorated and the bed was really comfortable. Hotel is in a good area and was within walking distance to a lot of where we wanted to go.

We were able to check in a lot earlier at no extra cost which was appreciated. All the staff we interacted with were lovely and helpful.

Only negative was it was a cold evening and we wanted to grab a drink in the hotel bar before heading out to dinner but the bar was booked for a private party so there was no alternative options for hotel guests

Excellent hotel in the heart of the city. Very close proximity to Trinity College. Walking distance from lots of major attractions. Safe area. The only drawback - to enter the lobby, you have to carry your luggage the rough 5-6 steps. Not an issue for me, but keep this in mind if you need assistance.

We had a wonderful stay. The front desk manager was very accommodating. The rooms are very nice. It’s in a quiet part of town yet a ten minute walk away is all of the action in Dublin. One complaint is in the listing on Expedia it mentions on site parking. There is no on site parking. To get yo the off site parking is confusing. I’ll try and upload a picture of the listing.

Other than the decor, our room looked nothing like the ones on the website. It had very low ceilings and one small window in the sitting area that overlooked an alley. This made it very dark and nothing pleasant to see outside. I regret that I did not say something immediately but it’s not my nature to complain. I chose the Mont over many other options because of the high ratings and tastefully hip decor. I was disappointed.

My husband and I stayed here for our 20th anniversary. The Mont was a perfect fit for us and all our favourite sites were easily reachable on foot. It's across from the National gallery and Merrion Square, and very close to St Stephen's Green, Grafton Street and Trinity College. We also decided to jump on the DART and visit Greystones one day, and Pearse Station is less than 5 minutes away. For nearby low cost eats, i highly recommend checking out Bread 41 for coffee/pastries, Tang for breakfast/lunch and Bambino pizza for a quick slice.
We would gladly book here again for its location and level of comfort for a future trip!

First trip to Dublin

We had a lovely stay at The Mont. We arrived early and were able to check into our rooms before check in time. Each of our rooms had a hand written note along with a box of delicious chocolates. We even received another handwritten note along with a basket of fruit halfway through our stay! The staff were all so nice, from the reception desk, bar/restaurant staff, cleaning, etc. Everyone there was so friendly and eager to help. Rooms were clean. Hotel is centrally located and only about 25 minute drive to & from the airport. We enjoyed our stay at The Mont & would definitely stay there again! Highly recommend!
