Quirky Townhouse, split into two parts facing each other across a narrow street. This is rooms and breakfast, that is it. However, its location is perfect as a base for shopping, dining out in Dublin.
It is delightful to stay in a genuine Georgian townhouse with elegant architecture and comfort.
It had been maybe 5 years since we last stayed. Little changed - though service at breakfast has much improved, our last experience would have given Fawlty Towers a good run. And with the room rate gone up by 100%, it is no longer what you would call good value, rather it is expensive for what you get.
It also needs some investment and not just the cosmetic layer. Heating - a dual use air con machine in-room, is noisy as it the outdoor part of that system. En-suite is bang up to date and generous.
If you don’t need any big common spaces or a bar to relax in or a spa to regenerate in, then this will suit you fine. No obvious benefit however for foregoing these facilities in the rate to stay.

The hotel was lovely, as was the staff, but being a city, there was an alarm going off across the street for 4 of the 7 nights we stayed recently. The hotel had nothing to do with that, but there is very little noise dampening from the street.

We loved this accommodation. The room was very large, essentially a suite with a comfortable king bed (with plenty of pillows) and a sofa. We enjoyed a friendly welcome from staff, with chocolates and a bottle of wine waiting for us in our room. The hotel was conveniently located near Trinity College and St. Stephens Green on a quiet street for the center of Dublin. Breakfast was included, had healthy options. Staff was very helpful throughout our stay.

We were somewhat disappointed to be in a premium room on the ground floor and right behind the road. We were sadly disturbed by people late at night and into the morning who were a little the worse for the gargle.
We also wondered why there was no mention of the possibility of an evening meal on site (albeit with a different company). We thought this an ideal opportunity for both businesses to benefit from this - perhaps offer residents a small discount?

This place was cute and a decent location. We liked our room even though it was tiny. We didn’t like that there was no elevator but also no staff to help us up or down the stairs with our luggage. The most disappointing thing is my sister left her sunglasses in our room after check out. She called them and they said they found them and would hold them for her in the front so she can have them mailed to her the next day. The next day when she called back the person claimed they never had them so clearly a staff member took them and lied. She reached out again through email and they never replied. Very dishonest behavior…

This was my first time staying at this location and I was pleasantly surprised overall. I choose the normal room this trip and it is best described as “compact”. But it was well laid out and you had everything you needed but just don’t expect a lot of space or roomy bathroom. The reason I did not give it an excellent rating was the when we got in after dinner we went to make a cup of tea and there was only one normal teabag and no milk or creamer. ( apparently you have to ask for milk and they will provide it fresh) but we did not know that and there was no instructions in how to contact reception. Second was breakfast ends at 9:30 a bit early for those on a lazy weekend away. So we choose to get breakfast elsewhere even though we paid for it.

Property was very clean and the staff was great. The room was small and there is no elevator/lift to get to your room. if you are traveling with heavy bags getting to your room may require some extra effort. However, the staff did offer to bring our bags up to our room.

The only drawbacks were the numerous flights of stairs and that the room was tiny -- like there was literally no place to put the luggage. I've honestly never seen so little space in a hotel room.

Only had two issues with my stay (Friday night to Sunday morning) were as follows. No maid service during my stay and breakfast (although extremely tasty) took nearly 45 minutes to be served which was slow considering there were three members of staff serving and six people in the dining area.

Perfect stay at the Trinity Townhouse - great, convenient location in the centre of Dublin, just a few streets away from Grafton Street which is the main shopping area. Google lists this as a 3 star hotel but it most definitely is at least a 4 star hotel.
I stayed in the Deluxe Room which is on the top floor (3rd). There are no lifts so just be aware if you have big luggage.
The Rituals bath products were a lovely touch. Nice, big comfortable bed. Really great to have decent bedside lighting as well!

An excellent example of how good a townhouse hotel can be when space is at a premium. We spent one night in room 310, a \"cosy double\". The room was small, as expected, but well designed and very comfortable. Furnishings were high-quality in the room and ensuite, and we enjoyed using the Ruark Audio (great choice!) bedside radio as a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music the next morning.
My only minor complaint was that the sink's push-down plug was broken and I could not fill the sink with water to shave, instead leaving the tap running which was wasteful.
If I was to suggest any improvements, it would be the addition of a couple of coat hooks beside the mirror behind the door. I should also say that anyone not willing/able to deal with stairs should request a room on the 1st floor when booking, as there is no elevator. No problem for us, but my parents could never stay on the 3rd floor :-)

Trinity townhouse was in a great location. Walking distance to all the main attractions in Dublin. It was located right across from Trinity college and only minutes from St Stephens Green, Grafton street and not much farther to Temple Bar area.

We were put in a room below ground, which wasn’t disclosed when I made the booking. There was construction going on. People started drilling into the building at 8am. The wifi was down all afternoon one day and the front desk wasn’t aware of it but or why. The cleaning staff left a garbage bag behind.
