The property was very modern and clean. Depending on which place you rented keep in mind potential for carrying luggage up flights of stairs. Wifi was a bit of a challenge with 7 guests. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great for walking Dublin and would recommend this place to others.

It was impossible to have to go far away from the apartment to “register”, and only get instructions to get keys who then still were a block away from the apartment, in a lockbox that was hidden in an area behind two doors (not exaggerating), and nobody explained that there were two different codes -one to get behind the doors, then another one (that they forgot to tell us!) to open the lockbox to the key…..
We finally got in, only to find someone working on a broken bathroom door… it was cold but it took a lot of trial and error to get any heating working… then there was no hot water, until we figured out that there’s a hidden water heater (that also nobody told us about…) that open actually needs to “boost” only to get any hot water at all…
The fact that there was absolutely hideous music coming from the touristy bar across the street wouldn’t have been an issue since this is to be expected with a place in the middle of the party tourist zone…
Redeeming qualities were that it was moderately clean-ish, and good location if one likes to party! And a fantastic pub right underneath with actually beautiful music at night, making up for the trash across the street!
The bed in the bedroom was a bit of a torture instrument… but it was clean and warm. The pull out couch covering the entire living room in its pulled out stage was also hard as rock but clean- again, fine if you just want to party and then keel over…
Sorry I was too cheap to get a nicer place- wasn’t worth it!

This trip was disappointing. One accurate part was that it was, in fact, in Temple Bar district. Apparently, I should have known this was not the area for me, but alas, I have never been to Dublin so I didn't honestly know any better. I'll start with check in. It was a nightmare. Never got the email for check in until after I was able to finally connect with someone. The directions led you to an inaccurate location, had to walk to a secondary location to collect a key for the apartment (WHICH WAS NOT THERE), had to call 21 times to reach someone after being hung up on, had to wait until they found the key (mind you this is 4.5 hours after allowed check-in). The cleaning staff forgot to return it, so we had to walk to a THIRD location to meet her at our apartment. After a very long and tiring day of travel with 2 small kids -- this was a very painful endeavor. I will follow it with, everything is loud, and filthy. Loud because across the way there is a pub, next to pubs around pubs and the drinking and dunk songs will go into the wee hours ending around 4:00 AM... To then be followed up by 6:00 AM construction start time in the building NEXT DOOR. This stay was horrible and had I not paid over $3,000 booking it, I would have left and found better accomodations. I generously give it a 1 star, but frankly, not even deserving of that.

Refrigerator didn’t work. QR code provided for appliance instructions didn’t work. Had to figure out how the hot water worked. Provided a stained duvet for couch pullout bed. Replacement linen was provided, but it was sheets, no blanket, and no pillow cases. Also, the linen was dropped off inside the apartment while we were asleep. We found that quite odd.

The stay was bad the bad tub was dirty and I called three times which they stated they would clean three times and which never happened. The place was in communication with me but failed to tell me the location and how to locate. When it came to the check-in, it was a 16 minute walk to just get the keys and the individual at the desk stated they emailed me, but I couldn’t find the reservations when I tried to make an account, but they were able to find my reservations on their computer with the same exact number and name. The place in general is very dirty. The couch was stained and dirty. The remote had no batteries. There was stains on the door and on the walls again the bathtub looks very dirty and they refuse to clean it even though they claim that they were gonna. The person at the front desk was very rude when it asked about how to check out in overall the experience, which is terrible. I would not recommend it’s in a good location, but the place itself is dirty filled with construction trash bags to walk on the stairs,which was not mentioned the building is undergoing a lot of construction. there’s also a lot of construction outside that you can hear inside and people playing music in the apartments that you can hear in the apartment.

First of all they switched us to the Parnell Blvd Apartments so I have no clue if these apartments are good. The floors at the new location, had paint stains and paint dust all over them. There was no signage in the hallways and the elevator had bashed in buttons and the hallways had random doors open showing exposed pipes. The noise level was extremely high and we were shocked they’d move us to such a terrible alternative. On top of all that they forced me to use their app, which not even their staff could get to work. We found other accommodations. I’d give 0 stars if that was an option.

Fantastic location. Shops, restaurants, and the River Liffey within a few minutes walk.

Keyless entry to the apartment, using an app, was convenient.

The balcony was nice.

Having a washer was good.

The apartment smelled very fresh when we opened the door, however, the place could use an overall refresh. There were stains on the sofa, in the bathtub and mold on the bathroom ceiling.

There was outside music and noise up until 3 am each morning, but given the location, we expected this.

Because of the great location, would recommend to others.

Pros- walkable to dining and transit. Spacious-the apartment had good space for our family of 5, clean. The entire center s thing 10-15 mins walking. Lots of nightlife right outside.

Cons- this place needs to be renovated. Windows don’t open or some don’t lock, the seals are leaky and don’t dampen outside noise The area is pretty noisy at night. Beds need to be replaced, bathroom lights are corroded and not working, cabinets are in poor condition. Very 90s vibe.

Heating and hot water failed twice. Sofa was awful, very uncomfortable and only seated 2 but accommodation is for 5. This made relaxing difficult. Kitchen amenities were great. Bathroom is worn out. Security great but Upkey didn’t switch easily between locks. Staff were great and responded quite quickly. Parking @fleet street Q park would have been good to know prior $70/5 days

Nice apartment, great location!!!

Wonderful stay, great location! The apartment could use some minor cosmetic improvements but overall a great stay and all amenities you could need with a full kitchen! Easy to access especially with the new smart lock process, very flexible with early check in when possible. I would love to stay again in Dublin at this property but would request if possible a unit on the side that overlooks the busy bustling Temple Bar alleyway (Crown Ally rather than Cope Street). Overall a great stay!

Fantastic location, office staff great. Good kitchen set up with everything we needed.

Not the comfiest of beds, the bathroom definitely needed an overhaul - broken tiles and the shower screen leaked which turned the floor into puddles.

Would however stay again on a short trip due to location and service. the issues were only minor

Lovely location! We had a good stay, but noticed a few issues around the apartment. The back of the bathroom door was covered in visible mold, and the bathroom rack was a bit rusty. The curtains in the main room came loose a few times and we had to hook them back up. Security was easy and we felt safe and comfortable in the building. We loved how close we were to Temple Bar and to transit!

Very disappointed!! Be careful as management company changes your apartment without notice.
Had booked and paid for a totally different apartment on the top floor of same building to accommodate for the size of our family. Had taken screenshot of the place - during booking for my records.
We were provided with a totally different unit that was way too small. Had 2 grown adult sons share a twin sleeper sofa.
Very difficult to communicate with property management - no texting within Expedia app or WhatsApp - only local phone calls. Different team members don’t communicate with each other.
Eventually able to move to another unit, BUT was 10min away with an additional cost of €100.

Overall, now recommending this place.

This property felt dirty. The photos are deceiving and don't show the filth in the apartment. The couch was stained so we placed a comforter on it to sit. The tub was stained, tile cracked and dirty. The balcony door was broken and didn't lock. We stayed in apartment 1 and it was not worth the cost.

Do not book here, not as advertised

The apartment is in need of repairs. The balcony door isn't hinged so when we tried to open it, it fell in us. It can be pushed open from the outside and with no way to secure the premises,I felt unsafe. My linen had terrible stains. It was extremely hard to walk up all those stairs with luggage and I did not know I needed to do this. You need to pick up keys at another address,which is challenging. The shower doesn't drain so you need to stop your shower to wait for it to drain, and the Dan doesn't work so the floor gets very slippery and you get one key so that's alot of fun to deal with when you have six in your group.Communication was terrible, several emails sent were never answered. I was expected to take out the trash and pay for garbage bags which is odd. Definitely not hotels com standards and wonder why it's on the site

They no longer rent out apartments above templebar

I have booked in the past and the stay was amazing so we wanted to book again. The pictures they had listed were for the place we booked in the past. When I checked in they said they no longer operated the apartments overtop temple bar- then why do you still have the pictures up? And why is the location marker on the map as the rooms above the temple bar.

We wanted to make the best so we tried. The stairwell to the apartment is cluttered with personal possessions. When we got into the room, the floor was dirty and there was an old crusty fry on the floor. The counter had sugar on it form the last stay. The bathroom vent did not work so it got really moist and humid after and shower, and you can notice some mold growing on the door. It felt more like a college dorm then it did an apartment. The beds are stiff and I booked for a king bed and got a double..the only TV is put in an inconvenient location.

Also the button to flush the toilet was missing.. and toilet paper was shoved down as a button..

My disappointment came from the fact that the room I booked was the pictures of the old property they no longer service. That property was beautiful. I felt like I got “played” cause I was expecting the pictures and got a dirty apartment that was very claustrophobic. Save your money and book somewhere else..

I used to love city break apartments and staying above the temple bar.. I wouldn’t have been as upset if the apartment was dingy and dirty..

Location was the best! Everything within walking distance, check in office to apt about 15min walk. Can be loud at night but its normal for the area. Temple bar around the corner. Recomend fixing toilet button was broken. Love that they have a book of recommendation to do around area. If you want to go to local bar outside tourist area go to Memas @ Chinatown good prices and good food

Perfectly fine apartment- brilliant area!

We originally booked Temple Street Apartments but due to the previous guest having to stay and self isolate we were contacted to say we had been moved to Hatch Street Apartments instead. We were apartment number 8, it had 2 x bedrooms with its own toilet (one with a shower too) self contained kitchen sitting area and small outside court out of the front. The apartment was clean, however we think previous guests had been smoking inside before as it did have a musky smell in the air. It was fine for what we needed, we didn’t spend a lot of time there. We were worried about the location as it’s a good 20 min walk to Temple Bar, however we were so wrong. We were a 5 min walk to Camden Street, which was a fantastic area full of pubs and restaurants (Doolallys was the best Indian we have ever ate in) it was more chilled and less touristy than Temple Bar was, a real gem area of Dublin! The local Weatherspoons there was fab, brand new and cheaper drinks and breakfast! So overall we were very happy as the area was lovely!

Apartment was way smaller than pictures make it seem. It was an older apartment and wasnt very clean. Pictures are of a few apartments they have so you dont really know what apartment you will get till you get there. Address for the apartment on hotels.com was not the one we got. I was disappointed in this place. This place is in the templebar area and its easy to get around. If I could do it again, I would definitely pick another place.

I will start with the positives - we very much enjoyed the location, it does not get better than this spot. Very touristy, but we are tourists, so I don't mind. Yes, there is noise overnight but we are night owls so it didn't bother us. Pretty settled and quiet by 3AM. We loved the fact that we were able to walk out of door and be right in the middle of all the fun.
We stayed for a whole week, but we left the second and third day to travel to Northern Ireland. When we returned on the fourth day, we discovered one of the bed rooms was soaked from a leak in the ceiling. We contacted the management and they brought new bedding, By the next day the second bedroom was also leaking and the entire carpet was soaked. At this point both of the bedrooms were uninhabitable - the floors were soaked, the bedding was soaked and it was beginning to smell moldy. The last night of our stay they moved us to another apartment they operate (which was a block over and beautiful). While I appreciate them moving us the final day, it really put a \"damper\" on our trip to have three of us sleeping on two couches on the first floor for two nights.

Comfortable apartment for four

The apartment is in an excellent location directly above Temple Bar, very central to everything with some shops and eateries just around the corner. Apartment was clean and comfortably slept four people however he sofa bed was fairly uncomfortable so we ended up using the divers as extra cushioning. Check in and out was simple and straightforward and we were given the option for a late check-out which was very useful. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay again for our next visit to Dublin!

Great Location but poor communication

The location and space of this flat was excellent. A bit hard to find, but it's right IN Temple Bar. We thought the noise would keep us up at night but because it's located in an alley it was strangely quite. There was construction during the day but we were gone most days.
VRBO did NOT communicate well with the main office about how to pick up keys, whether or not we had a queen bed or doubles, there were a lot of question marks over our heads about check in and detail and VRBO did not respond or pass on who and how to communicate with the main office. It was also difficult to find an accurate phone number or contact person to inquire about a key and to get a REAL address instead of VRBO's map directions.
If you are from the states and need to call the prefix in Ireland is +353. In order to get a \"+\" hold down the zero. These are good things to know.
Also, if you have any trouble walking or are not agile pass on this flat as the bathroom shower will be difficult to get into for an older person.
The automatic lights upon entry do NOT come on until you hit the 3rd step, this is challenging upon your first arrival AND lastly...they need more door stops as the doors are super heavy.
We walked 25 minutes north to get our keys with our luggage but the managers were kind enough to call a cab for our return. Just get the check in details sorted out before you come and you will have a wonderful stay in a comfortable place.

It is in a perfect part of the town and the staff is very nice. But beware that if you stay here you will wake up early every morning. The first morning and the last morning we were woken up at 6 to hundreds of empty kegs being dragged on the street to be taken away. We had to buy ear plugs to sleep. The location is great though. Just know what you’re in for.

Weekend in Dublin

Apartments are in a great part of the city for a weekend visit - we felt like we were right in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go.
The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we needed - only minor gripe was the size of the beds (we were 3 tall lads) - but we see that whenever we go away.
Check-in and check-out was painless. Would def. recommend.

Great Apartment & Fabulous location

We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with a rooftop patio. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and seemed newly renovated. The location was fabulous - right in the middle of the Temple Bar area. The only real negatives were the check in procedure (an 11 minute drive from the apartment) and the construction noise across the street. Would definitely choose this apartment again!

The apartment was in a great location - easy walk to everything you would want to do in Dublin. Noise level at night was pretty high, as you are directly across from the Temple Bar.
***Just beware - check in was a pain because it is a little bit of a long walk from the office to the apartment.*** I didn't realize until after booking - nonrefundable - that check in was not at the building. Staff assured me it was a short, easy walk, but it wasn't. Check in building is hard to find & located on a sketchy side street. Don't go alone!

This property was amazing. Highly recommend it! My boyfriend and I were staying in dublin for 4 days and we thought we would try this spot. It is super close to everything. All things touristy and if you walk 5 mins north there are sooo many bars and restaurants not near the tourist part. I will 100% stay here again.

Perfect location to be in the middle of everything. the reviews I read were about being kept up late at night because of the loud bar, but that really wasn't an issue at all. The problem was the keg pick up and delivery in the VERY early hours. That was a bit tough as the clanging of metal for a couple of hours (it felt like) was extremely loud. However everything is within a 7 minute walk from the apartment, we were very happy with that.

IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP even when the bar closes as people party on the street for hours and in the early morning the noise comes from the back with cleaning and garbage ... The process of getting the key is ridiculous. Although the company has many rentals I will never book another rental from them. The apartment was ok although the bathroom was stinky and the shower was poor.

We enjoyed the area. A very busy and happen place. Easy to get to many attractions either by the DoDublin bus, Hop on Hop Off or walking. Many wonderful things to see.

We were disappointed in the lack of response of the apartment managers. When we checked in we were told to e-mail or phone if we needed anything. However three e-mails and we still haven’t heard anything. Very disappointed with the lack of service.

The location was great but there is major construction right across the street. They started around 7:45 and went thru the day. We were out in the day so that wasn’t a big deal. Well stocked and good set up, could use some TLC in bathroom mostly. They did communicate the key pick up was not at the apartment so good to know prior.

I don’t mind the drinking late in the wee hours, and the drunk off tune singing, however, I do mind the 6AM of workers picking barrels and barrels of beer for pick up or drop off, that sound was bang bang bang on your eardrum.

If you don’t mind that sound you would love this place.

The service was outstanding. Our luggage was picked up at checkout time and taken via taxi to the main office to be stored. This was a free service and we then met at the office to get our taxi to the airport which was a very reasonable fee. Apartment was lovely and clean and modern and the location was amazing, literally in the centre of temple bar. Could not be happier and will definitely use again.

Be prepared for a very loud stay, we liked it’s central location, it had a little washing machine, no dryer, kitchen with dishwasher! Pull out couch, nice big bed, but be prepared with earplugs and loud music/drinking until 2am and the truck unloading kegs at 7am lol

This is a great place to stay if you like lots of pubs and restaurants. It is in the middle of Temple Bar and is quite noisy at night, especially weekends. There is also a LOT of construction going on. SOOO you get the drunken revelers at night and hammering, sawing and construction noise starting at 7:30 in the morning.

Good location - right in the tourist area of dublin and walking distance to most things. The apartments are located directly next to a very very busy bar. Our room overlooked the patio of this bar and as a resiult, noise and the smell of cigarette smoke invaded our room. The sofa bed was sub par - uncomfortable to say the least. Apartment looked brand new and was clean except for the water residue that had accumulated on the shower tiles. You also have to get keys for the apartment from their main office about 20 mins away (walking).

The apartment itself was great no issues except from the hot water not working after a while due to the system in ireland. The noise pollution in the morning with the pubs having their metal beer barrels recycled at 6.45am was horrendous. Would reccomend staying outside of the temple bar area for this reason.

In the HEART of CITY CENTER (Dublin) TEMPLE BAR...

I absolutly loved staying here, you are in the HEART of City Center (resturants, pups, stores ALL AROUND YOU walking distance and you are 20 minutes from the airport). The CityBreak Apartments at Temple Bar is amazing. They are PERFECTLY located, the apartments are brand new, up to date appliances, VERY CLEAN and the staff are very helpful and professional. I had a wonderful experience and will definately stay here again. I have referred many of my friends here since my stay. I had a blast in Dublin. And the Aiport accommodations.......my driver \"Jerry\" was a wonderful man, great conversation and very friendly.
The apartments are not noisy at all, my room was in the back so it was quiet and very comfortable and very clean.

Temple Bar District apartments

Great location. Second time with these apartments. Fully equipped. Only problem this time was the construction next door. Impossible to sleep after 8am which when you get in at 3am is a little annoying.

Overall the apartment was very nice and clean. The carpeting was very dirty. The clothes washer worked and the drying rack was great.
The problem was the shower!! There was no hot water!! We called the service number the first morning and they talked us through turning on the “boost” feature which was supposed to increase the hot water to the shower. Supposedly it would heat up in 30 minutes but it didn’t. We tried it again in the evening and the next morning to no avail. We couldn’t wait around for them to send anyone. I called on our way out of Dublin to say it never did work, it was a cold shower both days. The representative said he was sorry but I would have preferred an offer to credit a discount on our bill. I asked him to fix the issue before renting it to anyone else.

The site doesnt disclose that you need to get the keys from their main office ( at least a km away).

I notice stairwells are not lit ( lights / sensors not working) so struggling up the 3 floors in the dark is a bit frightening.

In the center of Temple Bar

Excellent apartment, location cannot be better if you want to be in the middle of the busy, loud, Temple Bar area. This is exactly what me and my wife wanted so we were ready for the loudness.

First time in Dublin

Great Apartment in fantastic location, easy to find everything in the area. Older adults might be annoyed by night life noise, you can hear drunk tourists, locals etc all night, this didn’t bother us but something to note. The apartment was exceptionally clean. We loved the pay tv and kitchen. Warm nights in Dublin are rare but I would recommend a standing fan. Thanks for a great stay.

This property was located in a perfect location for night life and day trips in Dublin. It was a block away from the Main Street of Templebar, so the noise wasn’t too bad.

The washer and dryer did not work properly and was filled with a black clay, so it ruined a lot of our clothes.

Before we arrived i received an email that they changed our apartment because of matience issues. Then when we arrived at the apartment many hours after check in the place was not cleaned. There was towels and the old sheets were in the bed. They came quickly to clean it and offered us food Vouchers. The next day a matience man arrives in announced to fix the curtains. It was a good thing he did because there was no hot water in the apartment.

The Dublin experience, if you can sleep!

Turns out this otherwise nice property is literally directly above the Temple Bar. We originally thought it was a couple blocks away. So, it was incredibly noisy except between about 3:00-6:00 AM. Some mitigation from an extra set of window panes in the bedrooms, and I actually didn't have that much trouble sleeping anyway, but I can't say the same for the rest of the family. Also, it was during a heat wave so a few portable fans would have helped a lot since there is no air conditioning.

Great apartment but definitely NOT for business

I absolutely loved the apartment, it was modern, well-equipped and the location was good. However, the major downside was the fact the windows were old and it was far too noisy for a business trip. When i looked for accommodation in Temple Bar, i had no intention of, nor any idea that the apartment would be above THE Temple Bar. I really didn't sleep well as a result. Temple Bar is ideal for what i needed for work, i just didn't expect the apartment to be right in the middle of it. I think it spoke volumes that i had been left two new packets of earplugs!! That's the only thing i would mark the apartment down on and would never recommend this to anyone travelling on business. Other than that it was lovely and clean and i really liked it.

This was a nice place to stay overall, but the sleeping hours are short. It is directly above THE bar in temple bar district. The bar is open until 4am and people start cleaning and removing kegs at 7am. The staff didn’t retun our emails about utilizing their shuttle or about using the laundry that is supposedly on site. The bed was a king but was 2 twins set together making it difficult if you like to roll around. We also had a problem with the temperature in the shower it was very difficult to move from scalding hot to tolerable. We suggest you stay in the area but not this hotel.

Great location being above the temple bar made it easy to stumble home after a decent nightout. All popular tourist spots were within walking distance.

Inside was extremely clean and the beds were comfy. However the sofa bed was slightly less comfy. Only other issue might be the noise but nothing earplugs can’t blockout.

Apartment was nice and tidy but the kitchen area stunk of stale cigarettes the entire stay.
