Stuff friendly indeed, but it’s not a hotel, they are apartments that belong apparently to the bar below. Convenient if you like the bar life, you can get the stairs to you rooms through the Ladies Bathroom door.

Good all round, the table was small for laptop

Was all good, a little hardwork with only a small table to work on my laptop but i just abiut managed. I was concerned that it was above a bar that it would get noisy and loose me sleep comfort but thankfully i believe i got lucky. I do believe the hosts should clearly mention this fact though.

Clean and modern rooms in a fantastic location. The access codes were a little temperamental at times but we always managed to get in eventually. The biggest issue we had was that we booked for three nights in December and neither the radiator nor the heated towel rail in the bathroom worked so the room was cold unless we used the air conditioning to heat the room (not very energy efficient) and the towels were always cold and wet. We asked at the bar and a lovely lady tried to come up and fix it but ultimately, there was no hot water coming to either the radiator, nor the towel rail. It is noisy but that was understood at the time of booking. The email with the access codes said that there were ear plugs in the room - there weren’t but I’m sure they’d have provided some had we asked at the bar. The noise was mainly early morning deliveries and seagulls rather than noise from the bar downstairs. Overall, I’d say that it probably wasn’t worth the £220+ per night that it cost but by no means was this a bad place to stay.

Property was in a great location, and staff was very helpful for any request we made. Very nice room only slight issue we had was with the bathroom - the sink drained very slow and the shower water temp was either too hot or freezing cold. Otherwise this property was amazing, perfectly located close to lots of restaurants and bars in the area, and close to the bus stations.

It was cool that we could walk right out of our room and into a bar for a drink.

We did not like that there were multiple and different long entry codes for the doors. Would have preferred a keycard / bracelet access / or 1 key code total.

This place has no front desk, no lobby, no full time staff. Just four suites above a bar.

The bar below staff is the staff, let me tell you they are wonderful. Management however is none existent and completely none responsive to their guests. We had a major issue, while the staff did all they could the management did nothing and in fact never replied to us or reached out to us.

Yet the place is a very nice room, a perfect location and a reasonable price. So, IF you have no incidents this is the perfect place to stay…. If not I hope the staff can resolve your issue because the management won’t.

Expedia did not do an on-site visit to this property. If they did, they would find this property unacceptable to advertise on their site. Completely unsafe, no front desk, no one to call if there was an issue, entry access from the women’s bathroom from the bar on the ground floor. Fire alarm went off at 4:00 am and no one to call. Rooms were ill equipped and dirty with bugs.

The location and room were great and not my first time staying but they forgot towels in room. A bit late noticing as I stepped out of shower 😩 and when I told them on departure I just got a sorry about that bud. I thought there would be a call or email with an apology or offer of a free meal on next stay or something…… poor customer service afterwards. Although I will say that the lady who met me when I checked in was very helpful.

In the middle of Dublin! Walkable to everything. Suite is on the 3rd floor without an elevator, that might be a problem for some. And the hotel is literally connected to a bar that plays music all the time, this might be bothersome for most. We loved our stay.

10/10 experience. Just stayed in it for the night before getting on the train but it’s a great location excellent view and the room was fantastic. We couldn’t get into our room earlier than what was stated and me and my wife were worried because we had booked the tour for Guinness storehouse but luckily the ladies in the bar associated with the suites were more than helpful to keep our luggage for us until we could get into the room.

It wasn’t mentioned on the Hotels.com booking but there is no elevator so if anyone is traveling with heavy or a lot of luggage they should keep that in mind. But if someone is traveling light or is ok with taking the luggage up a minimum of 2 flights of stairs the rooms are worth it for the convenience of Grafton Street and the quality of the rooms

The room was very clean and had everything we needed.

However it was advertised that there would be WiFi and there was nothing to give us a code. I contacted the property and haven’t had a response.

The shower was also stuck so we were unable to use it.

Slight damp on the bathroom ceiling, but didn’t cause a problem.

Very good location and cleaners were very good.

We have booked with hotel.com for years and have never ever complained. This accommodation was so disappointing, the cleanliness of the suite was unsatisfactory, there was a foul smell of stale alcohol and the linen/towels were stained. When we came back from a concert we found that roadworks were happening outside our window, these continued until 02.30am and were so intolerable we debated booking another hotel. After a really uncomfortable night, we went to use to the shower. The shower head was broken and became detached leaving water spraying over the entire bathroom. Due to the faulty shower head we had to use the hose for the bath to wash. This nights stay completely ruined our night away and left us too exhausted to do anything today. We have never complained about any hotel before but this is so substandard and unacceptable considering we paid €279 for the night. Do not book here.

Good rooms in a noisy location

I was in Dublin for a conference. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. There were two downsides: first, these rooms are located above a bar and there are plenty of other bars around, and no double glazing, so expect plenty of noise at night, even during the week. Second, there is no reception. You will be given a code to enter, no keys, but in my case it didn't work (door faulty). Bar staff are nice and helpful, they can let you in; but they are open only from Midday, so if you want to go in and out in the morning and a problem occurs, no one is on hand.

We had an amazing time. Amazing planning potential due to location, many restaurants, bars, shopping centre nearby etc. We loved the penthouse full view windows, altough you could see into other peoples' kitchens and vica verca, so we had to have the blinds cover a portion of the windows most of the time. Bed was very comfortable and could not resist the sleep as soon as we laid down. Access to media platforms always a bonus. Coffee machine and fridge were a nice touch. Altough small, it appears to be very spacious and modern. Will definitely consider staying here again.

The only hiccup was that we were not provided with access codes and didnt really have an approachable way to comtact them, but the front of the house staff in the bar downstairs was very helpful. She contacted them and sorted it out within 15 minutes.

The hotel is on top of a bar - the issue being the staircase is shared with the bathrooms for the bar - as people head to the bathrooms using the same staircase you can hear lots of noise at night coming from downstairs.

This is a room above a bar accessed with pin codes. All of the rooms are up at least three flights of stairs. I stayed here Tuesday through Thursday, and had no issues with noise. The room was clean and well-lit. The bar staff downstairs were happy to store my luggage before my check-in time.

Do not book it

Don’t book it, unless you can sleep through extreme loud live music until 1 o’clock in the morning, or your whole intention in Dublin is to party through the whole time.

This hotel room is above a popular bar in the central of the city and the window doesn’t close properly to block any sound. We have been given some ear plugs for the construction work during the day, but I can tell you they aren’t working. It’s also a self service hotel, so it’s really hard to get in contact with the host, I have try to call them several times, but no one pick the phones.

You will think a 200 pounds per night hotel would at least ensure some rest, but no! Here I am writing this review at midnight on my second night stay (thanks god it’s last night).

Good luck with you stay if you end up booking it.

This is NOT a hotel! It’s a room above a fricking bar! There are no elevators and no one to check you in! Self check in! If you don’t like to sleep, this is the place for you! Music starts at 10 every night. And , construction across the street begins at 7 AM . If you don’t like crowds of people, no worries! The earplugs provided are worthless! You can hear the music from your room! Every single song. The room is nice and clean, but that’s all you get. expedia did not state this was not a hotel!!

We would happily stay here again. Room was very clean and location was great to walk many places.l including Temple bar area, St Stephens Park, shopping on Galway Street. Note there are many stairs to walk up while carrying your suitcase to the room but this just allows you to burn calories for more Guinness consumption. There is a convenient bar downstairs with very friendly staff and live music. I always wear earplugs so no problem to turn bar noise into white noise for a good night sleep.

Loved the property. Noisy but not bad. The shower head wasn't properly set up to be usable correctly. Conor was amazing. Housekeeping was stellar. Communication was horrible. Would have liked to have known it was over a bar with live music and about the construction beforehand. Tried many times to communicate with host but was never able to get ahold of them.

Lovely apartment, if the alarm doesn't go off....

The apartment was lovely, getting in was fine - no problem with the codes. The apartment looks brand new and had lovely accessories and decor. The fridge and microwave could've been great if I'd stayed longer. The street was a bit noisy, but you're in the center of a city and a bit with nightlife, so it was to be expected. Might have been worse over the weekend.
So why the lousy review? The fire alarm went off in the apartment at 5am, it was linked to the bar underneath the apartments. The other guests and I stood outside for half an hour while the 'emergency contact' didn't answer the phone. We had the fire brigade out, they said we could go back in but they couldn't turn the alarm off. It was very very loud and impossible to sleep through. It was about 7am before it stopped.
The 'emergency contact' never responded to my WhatsApp message (despite having read it) and when asked for compensation (for missing 2 hours+ of sleep) they've said no.
Shame really, such a lovely apartment with such lousy customer service. If you have an emergency contact, they need to answer the phone in the middle of the night. Good job it wasn't a real fire!

Entry codes are hard to enter

The entrance code system is extremely hard to use. The time frame to enter the code is ridiculously limited. The staff at the bar here to help, as indicated in the email, was annoyed when we ask for help to enter the building and left. Nevertheless, they kept our carry on until the check-in time.
Also, be aware that, being located in the middle of town, it can become noisy during the weekends. Earplugs were provided and appreciated.
