Room was on the fifth floor but it was in the backend of the building, walking up multiple flights of stairs and across the building. There was absolutely nothing straightforward about getting there. Room was like old Victorian style which was nice. Water pressure from the sink and the shower were not great at all. Was not worth the price paid whatsoever.

The hotel is situated about a 2 minute walk to the Connolly Street Station for train, bus and DART services. So it is very convenient and easy to find. Also it is vey walkable to many of the main tourist attractions of the city centre.
The hotel is clean, quiet and the staff were very accomodating in a few ways that we required.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for travellers wanting a decent,affordable and welcoming hotel with a nive breakfast.It does not pretend to be a top of the range hotel but offers great value for money.I would definitely stay there again.

The room was absolutely awful. There is no air conditioning and even though the radiator was turned off the room gets really hot and makes it impossible to sleep.
So we thought we would open the window! But this hotel is directly opposite a bus depot and has a rail track going by. The busses and trains run all night!
So it’s a choice of no sleep due to heat or no sleep due to noise!
The noise is actually so loud you can hear it with the windows shut anyway.
Then to cap it off we went to the bar on our last night and had a few glasses of wine. The wine was fine if overpriced but then we asked to have one more glass and take it to our room and they said we could but the only glass they would let us take was a small dirty beer glass because the glasses apparently go missing! Nice!

Awesome. Our friend had a health issue while we were there, and the concierge arranged for him to see a doctor before opening hours. He was taken care of quickly and efficiently and is better now. I highly recommend this hotel due to the staff that they have there.

This property location is close to several hostels we noticed several streets and people that made us as travellers feel uncomfortable. Additionally the lay out of the hotel was very odd/confusing, and it smelled very strongly of wet paint at the time. The staff were accommodating though which was good!

We spent about an hour driving around, trying to find the appropriate parking garage. We ended up parking one place and later had to move to the one that has a discount with the hotel. The hotel staff was very amazing. They helped us order a taxi for one of our longer day trips, they also found some zip ties to help us fix a broken suitcase handle, that broke our first day in Dublin. The breakfast was amazing, but it open late per on Saturday morning,( as did the parking garage), which affected our departure, and made us a little late to our next city/ paid activity. The room was comfortable, but the person in the room above us, was pounding around late at night. All in all, I would stay there again, minus a car…just get a taxi from the airport.

I have stayed in many hotels in Dublin over the years. Everything from Hostels when I was much younger to the Shelbourne for my first wedding anniversary. I have also worked in the service and hotel industry in New York and Phoenix, AZ. I can't speak highly enough about the Beresford Hotel. First, it is across the street from Busarus and Connolly Station so It is very convenient for transport as well as the City Centre. It has been beautifully renovated and all of the rooms and common areas are beautiful. The most important part of my stay at the Beresford was the staff. The General Manager is totally customer oriented and friendly and that sets the tome for all of the rest of the staff. All of the front desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable. You can have the nicest looking hotel but if the staff are not nice and service oriented, guests will not have a nice time. I cannot compliment the staff enough. Great place to stay in Dublin.

Within a 20 minutes walk to Dublin city centre or the nearest Luas (tram) is within 2 minutes walk, Busarus station practically across the road. Downside, the room we stayed in you could hear (and see if the curtains were open) the dart trains passing by but we became immune to it and managed to get a good night's sleep. Staff were helpful especially when we wanted to know how to get to Dublin Zoo. Could've done with extra sachets of coffee in the room...2 just isn't enough!! Tesco Express and an array of shops nearby.

Upon arrival despite being checked in online had to go through the whole routine again given this was around 9pm a delay was created. We went up to the allocated room noting advertising board saying food was served until 2300hrs. We entered the dining room at 9.50 to find one person on duty serving a large table. He then proceeded to help with photographs for said table, by the time my order was taken at exactly 2200 hrs I was told the kitchen closed at 22.00. I challenged the reception showing the attached photograph but received no help having had a very long day we were left without food. Needless to say I won’t be back and will leave this on trip advisor.

Stay away from room 562. Have to go through a maze of stairs up then down and up again to end up in the attic that this room is located in. Very hot up there no air conditioning, have to lug you luggage up stairs and on thick carpet. Climbing Kerry’s cliffs was more manageable. The area is rough with they even have to add security codes to the washrooms in lobby. Would not recommend this hotel at all. Staff were friendly and that was the silver lining.

The worst part were the constant groups of noisy drunks gathering outside in the seating area between the hotel and the police station. I wouldn't stay again.

This property is very convenient to center city Dublin. We utilized the Luas which had a station about 50 yards from our hotel. The Connelly train station was a 10 minute walk.
We were able to store our bags until our room was ready. The breakfast restaurant was very nice. The bar is also very good and not packed as many of the bars in the city are.

We had a great stay at The Beresford Hotel. We booked 2 double rooms and they were both very grand. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay. We had the windows open as the weather was hot and you could hear noise from outside the hotel. We had expected that it would be somewhat noisy but we chose the hotel because of its central location . We were able to get a bus from the airport and the rest of the time we walked around the town and to the stadium for the rugby. To sum up this is a very clean well run hotel and we would stay here again if visiting Dublin.

We loved Dublin, hotel in perfect location except beds, Very Small double and no air conditioning so room was very warm, and made warmer as bathroom heater would not turn off and housekeeping always left bathroom door open...no bar to get a drink before 3pm so always make sure you have a drink in the room...although No Fridge and No Hairdryer

The people were extremely nice and polite!! They even rearranged our rooms to be closer to for friends room even though they were nearly non vacant. Everything was perfect and cute and the food was great except for 2 things.... it was freshly painted with toxic paint and we were not informed at all and caused a headache and so I had to leave, open my windows and come back later...the smell had died down thank goodness. The beds were okay.

Very large clean room. Good comfortable bedding, very soft pillows. Huge bathroom with both bath and shower. Good tea/coffee station (no fridge/no bottles of water). There are a number of nearby shops and fast food restaurants. It is walking distance to Temple Bar and Hop-On/Off bus stop.

The only thing negative I would say is the rooms need a little bit tending to. Could do with a lick of paint to freshen, but let’s be honest we didn’t spend too much time in the room. The hotel is very noisy and creaks and cracks at all hours of the day and night. It was a cheap option and close to transit. Staff were difficult when I asked for a new key card, it kept deactivating each day. Walked to my room each day just to be locked out.

Not what we expected as we had stayed here the previous year. Homeless people congregated across the road from the hotel from midnight to 5am. Shouting fighting singing running metal pipes along railings. Did not get a nights sleep and checked out early to move to another hotel. The Garda office was right next door yet the hotel really made no effort to have this stopped. Was offered ear plugs. Really. The worst is they know they have a problem.

The hotel is in a great location with the bus station across from the street. Staff at [email protected] is helpful and prompt. But the room is a little bit pricey.
