They advertise on Expedia that they have laundry facilities and a laundry service, and that was not the case. They did have a laundry service, but did not have laundry facilities. We travel light so laundry facilities are a must for us.

The Holiday Inn Express is in a great location and was reasonably priced. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection, with food being regularly replenished as required. Staff were friendly throughout the hotel and it was super convenient to be able to leave luggage before check in and after check out if we wanted. The shower had decent pressure and it was good to have a room safe. Bed was super comfy and the room was a decent size and quiet. We were on the third floor. Staff at reception offered suggestions on where to eat. We discovered Lincoln's Inn behind Trinity College which had the best seafood chowder and Beef and Guinness Pie, both reasonably priced. We took the Dublin Express think it was 832 from the airport and thought it dropped off in O'Connell Street but it didn't. You need to get off at Ashton Quays stop 325. The driver says the stop but it's not always clear. You can take the bus back from there to the airport but it takes a while so you're better going from Eden Quay or Customs House. We walked everywhere including Guinness Storehouse, Jameson Whisky Distillery, Trinity College,Temple Bar, St Stephens Green, Grafton St and the Liffey Boat tour which is next to the EPIC centre. Really enjoyed the In Stitches Comedy show which is located downstairs in the bar P Kearney. Bar was also reasonably priced and had great Irish music and singing. Both of us are mid 50s and furthest took us about 35 mins. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Most pleasant surprise. The Holiday Inn Express, Dublin, was on point for everything, especially a 1st time Ireland traveler, could need. Staff was exemplary from front desk, food service, housekeeping, doormen.

Hotel location was unparalleled. Simply walking out the front door and exploring the area you saw so many important landmarks, etc.

Will absolutely stay at this hotel again when visiting Dublin.

This is the best place to stay in Dublin. It is convenient to everything. You can walk to Trinity College, GPO, most sites around Dublin,and any pub you want. The best part is the breakfast. Everything you want and more. Real orange juice, great coffee, and a variety of breakfast items to satisfy anyone. Yes, the rooms are small, but I only sleep there, so the room size is not important. This is the best for the money.

Our room was given away to someone else and we didn’t find out until we got there. We did not get a room. We already paid for the room they didn’t give us.
They moved us to a different hotel that had two twin beds instead of one double bed. This hotel was outside the main downtown area. When the 2nd hotel gave us a receipt, the hotel was substantially cheaper than the one we originally paid for.
I will be asking for a refund.

The room shown in the booking photos did not match the actual room, which could be misleading.
In addition, there were feathers on the eggshells at breakfast, which raises hygiene concerns. I hope this can be improved.

Every single member of staff that we dealt with were impeccable in how they dealt with us. Whoever trains and leads the staff should be congratulated.
Everything was excellent apart from the duvet on the bed. It was far too thick and heavy and left us both feeling way too hot at night.
Other than that, we cannot fault the whole stay.

Perfect location, lovely staff, plenty of place's to eat out, central to pick up bus tours.
I arrived early and the staff were lovely and found me a room that was ready saving me having to wait. Breakfast starts at 6.30 but was available alot earlier on 2 occasions when i had early morning trips.

Dublin is not the place I remember, a lot of street homelessness, gangs of immigrants and toung lads. The streets were covered in rubbish…however the Irish are a friendly bunch and know how to have a good time. It was nice to go back but that will be it now…farewell Dublin.
