This was by far the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The rooms were dirty and broken down. The bathroom was tiny and ill conceived. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a place in my life. The room was approximately 8ft by 10ft with a double bed. Walking around was difficult at best. There’s no way they could vacuum between the bed and the wall. We were there for 3 days and they never cleaned our room or refreshed our towels. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper from the front office staff. This hotel is not worth it if it were free… which its not.

Good Central Location. Clean but poor decor. Leaking tap. No Iron. No Trouser Press. Noise from bar was no problem. NOISE AT 05.00 hrs every morning Catfights with Seagulls betting on the winners ! BREAKFAST not included €10 very average. I think that it was not good value for money but Dublin is expensive.

Brilliant hotel in the heart of Dublin, great location to walk to the temple bar area and easy transport routes all around the hotel.

The staff were so friendly as soon as we stepped through the door. Helping with early check in and guiding us on where is best to visit around the city.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Dublin.

Staff were very friendly and check in was easy. The linen was clean as was the bathroom and tea/coffee were provided. On the downside, the carpets were very dusty (dust was visible all down the sides of the beds), the beds were very close together (unavoidable as it was a small room) and the room did not smell fresh.

Hotel was well located from Connolly Train and Bus Station.

Reception staff friendly and welcoming.

The room/bed really let this hotel down.
Very basic amenities in the room.
Mattress was so uncomfortable with springs easily felt throughout the mattress.
Had a terrible night sleep and definitely wouldn’t recommend.

For $230 before tax, this lodge felt more like a cheap hostal. No elevator, room very small and beds not comfortable. In my bathroom, the toilet seat was noticeably lose, the shower handle came off as I turned on the water and the shower door wouldn’t close. The pub below was nice. Busy, noisy street.
Staff was nice and friendly and the breakfast was very good.

This property was ok for a nights stay. Saw some reviews saying the noise from the bar was loud at night but this didn’t bother me at all. My room was very small but clean. I was at the very top floor so lugging my suitcase up those stairs was a little difficult since there were no lifts. I also didn’t feel as though the lock on the door were very secure could have done with one more deadbolt, there was also a very strange door beside my closet that opened up to a large hole? Possibly an old elevator shaft or something which was a tad creepy to have and unsecured opening in my room as a solo traveller. Overall I didn’t feel the safest in this hotel but the rooms were fine. Just prepare yourself for no lifts and sketchy doors in your room.

Service was wonderful - I got great advice re train that if they hadn't asked about my journey I would have likely missed my train. Two really good bars right next door and very short walk to Bussaras or Connelly stations (I had to walk w luggage so it was super convenient). Room was nicely decorated and clean. It's an older hotel so I wasn't sure what to expect but I did really like the decor in my room and it was quiet while I was there. Like I said, the guys at reception were v helpful

Pictures are misleading.

The pictures & description on Hotels.com are lies. 1st off, there is no air conditioning. So on a hot, June weekend it was hard to sleep as sweat is dripping off my forehead. The window only opens 6 inches and there is no air flow. The pictures of a bar, restaurant and the front of hotel are lies. Those pictures are of a bar two doors away, not even the same building!! The bed was comfortable & the staff was very friendly & helpful getting a taxi early on a Sunday morning.

They need to invest some money in their toilets.

The location is very good as it is within walking distance of many attractions. The rooms were fine. The staff was very friendly and were able to recommend places to eat etc. The problem was that the toilet in one of our rooms was not working properly and even though staff were alerted to the issue it was never fixed during our stay. In fact our friends staying in this room had to use the toilet in the breakfast room. We stayed for 3 nights and this was unacceptable.

Very noisy all day and night, otherwise good

The guesthouse is right next door to a bar and a restaurant, both of which pump out music through external speakers just outside the guesthouse windows. The noise of music and revellers went on into the early hours.

Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent.

The interior is a bit dated but the bed was comfortable and everything worked okay.

This is an older lodging that needs some renovation. Located adjacent/over a bar, ask for a quiet room. The quiet room might just be about 116 sqft with 10 inches of clearance around the bed. The staff is very nice, the breakfast is good. The neighborhood a bit sketch.

The staff were lovely at this property and the location is great for a central stay in Dublin city centre. It was definitely NOT worth the price hike for St Patricks day - 4
times as much as their usual price!
The rooms are ok and the beds are comfy, however the bathroom could do with a thicker door for privacy. The biggest eyesaw was the 'view' from the window. We had a room that faced internally and didn't expect a view, but there was just rubbish dumped everywhere! Broken up bits of wood, metal, rubbish nags, just looked like a dumping site!

This place was just on the other side of the river from the tourist areas. Good location on a pedestrian street with stores and pubs. Not a bad place at all but had a hostile vibe to it. Small room, no hot water at sink, loud music from pub downstairs. Normally, I'm okay with all that, but not for the price they were charging. I used Some of my reward nights. I would've been much less satisfied if I was paying the full price.

The staff I met were extremely nice. The room was small but ok for 1 person and was clean. However, my room was on the first floor above a loud and raucous pub. The music went on very late and it was my ch too hot to close my window. When the music finally stopped then the drunken idiots in the street started up. When they went home the delivery trucks took their place. I barely slept the night I was there.

The property was very clean. They didn’t warn me that they were changing the television systems, so we were without a television for our stay. They offered free breakfast (but the timing didn’t work for us as breakfast is 8-10am and we had previously planned excursions at those times). The staff is amazing!!

This place was okay…but was too expensive for what you get. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. He has to buzz people in and out of the building…which makes it a little more secure. Our window opened to a view of another part of a building under construction so it was very stuffy and no air. The hotel is more of a converted apartment. Our room was clean, bedding and bathroom was clean. But very, very small. The bar next to the hotel played live music until very late, which was too loud for us to sleep. It was pretty good music though! Again, if it was cheaper I wouldn’t have minded having such a small space and less comfort, but it was the most expensive place we stayed on our whole European trip and was the smallest room.

One staff member was very helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to help guests. The others were less helpful but not bad. The rooms are tiny, bathrooms too small to even get dressed in. Overall, the rooms were ok for a night or two if you don’t expect luxury and are ok with very small spaces. The location is very convenient.

A great wee place! Clean rooms with comfy beds. There's a breakfast room inside, a bar with food and live music nightly, and an a la carte restaurant downsyairs. Central to city centre attractions with bus and taxi stances outside. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel was im a nice area. We had beautiful westher and walked everywhere. The pictures seemed deceiving in regards to the size of the room. It was not what we were expecting, but it didnt bother us since we were only sleeping there. Essentially we got what we paid for. We felt safe and there was a small safe in the room which was nice. There is breskfast to buy for 7 euros and coffee and tea are in each room with a electric kettle. Staff was friendly and extememly helpful with parking. We paid for 2 days of overnight parking at 12 euros per day. Make sure you get your ticket stamper and give it to the attendent in the garage.

I urge everyone avoid this hotel at all costs! I stayed here with my partner and found slugs in the bed room, on the walls and on the floor. When complaining to the receptionist he informed me there where no other rooms available and the best he could do was to 'hoover' them up, with no apology. After making another complaint to another gentlemen we where eventually changed rooms, but still given no apology what so ever. Please avoid this place at all costs.

The owner of a hotel is not nice at all and wasn't helpful. I asked for a extra blanket and it was never brought. I asked again said he would try. Never came. So I slept with one sheet. Pictures are very misleading as well place is very old.
