The first room they gave me the boxspring was smashed under the mattress and the mattress sitting in it and they knew that. The next room they changed me to the shower door three sections kept on falling off every time he used it. There was a big crack and smash in the bathroom door there were holes in the walls And glue. Tape marks on the walls, and the carpet had stains in it.
Look like a lot of alcoholics stayed there, banging doors all the time and smelling of drugs in the hallways.
The gardens were unkept.
The swimming pool had green algae grind along the sides. And they left the automatic robot cleaner for the pool in it continuously.
Outside of the pool was filthy and dirty and for the six days we stayed there. No one removed a punctured inflatable large light on the ground with dirt and dirty water all over it.
Much of the hotel was like a person had been a hoarder and hoarded things and all different corners and junk.
Some days trash in front of the front door stayed there for days.
When I asked for a change of room since they gave me the worst room. They had the first night we arrived. They said there was no other rooms available. Although on Expedia biggest travel site in the world, it said they had three rooms available.
Their advertise and comforting sign had flickering light in it continuously. It looks like they don’t do any maintenance if they don’t have to. The faucet in the shower leaked all the time. I could tell there’s no point in talking to the people.

this place has completley lost the plot Air con had no filter on it free to air tiv does not work at least 5 ladies of the night renting rooms out which is no drama except when you are trying to sleep and you charge 200 a night teh bathrooms was a disgrace the bar not open not even from 5 till 7 i have never complained i take the view bad word of mouth is good enough but wotif should not be advertising this place and what a shame it used to be very good. Dont stayt here unless its 50 a night and you like noise all night. Dreadful

Right in the middle of Cleveland so convenient for restaurants and shops. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The whole place could do with a revamp as was very tired. The lift didn’t work on the day I was there so had to carry bags down one flight of stairs. Rooms are large and the shower was great bed was comfortable. I think that there are long term guests so can get a bit noisy at night. Parking was good and felt safe. No breakfast or restaurant at the motel. There was a bar but I didn’t see it open.

Red flag when I drove into the carpark. There was a guy setup at a table and chairs in the carport beer in one hand smoke in the other supervising? kids on scooters running around the car park.
Woken up 11.30 at night by one of the residents I think in the room above me singing nursery rhymes and other noises through an amplification.
I wouldn't recommend staying there

Pros -Check In was fast and easy.

Room is aged but property is in a good loaction.

Cons-
Noted small cockroaches on the wall when first walked in so pest control needs attention.
Night time entry on a dark street and only visible sign was half lit.
Corridor/Hallway smelt like pet odors.

In my opinion if the the above items where rectified I would give it a better rating.

It appears that currently this Hotel is being used to house families on a longer term basis. The children of said families are allowed to run freely through the premises at all hours. They ride bikes and roller skate down the halls, bang on the piano and generally annoy other guests with squealing, playing tag and other child activities. If we had known this we never would have stayed here. The front desk was asked a number of times what they would do about it, and the response was a shrug of the shoulders. Totally unhappy customers here, and I would never stay again no matter the handiness of the location. The price charged is ridiculous given the conditions/circumstances.

Property badly needs a revamp. Front door is locked at aapprox 7.30pm then only access is via stairs at the rear of the building which involves walking past smelly over flowing rubbish bins. Not sure how you access if you can't handle walking up stairs as lift access to foyer is turned off and all access to foyer is locked. In the evenings there is constant slamming doors and kids running up and down corridor playing and crying. Definitely won't be back anytime soon!

IF you are looking for a quiet stay, DO NOT stay here. Kids running along corridors from as early as 5.30 am. People with loud tv's and their doors open, parties in rooms. I had to go and buy ear plugs to get some sleep.
The actual room was clean and a great size.

I will never stay there again and I will never recommend it to anyone, the Police were there both days as \"vulnerable people\" are housed there - the place was way overpriced for what we got.s. It is more like a $100/night hotel rather than $220/night ... although the rooms were clean, it had a dirty and neglected smell about it. Needs a refurb (urgently).

The Motel pictures look good, but it is very old and tired and things appear to have been fixed cheaply. The carpet had stains and the shower grout was mouldy and black. Furniture had broken areas that hadn’t been fixed or replaced. Very very disappointing for a Comfort Inn- we use to own a Comfort Inn Motel so we know what level of updated a motel should have.

Two night stay

We stayed in one of the apartments. The parking was a bit tricky and we used the visitor car space. The location is fabulous, you can walk to town and we made use of the rail transport. The units are older but very well laid out and reasonably furnished.

I did feel they need some additional block out curtains. The main bedroom is located behind a public car park which had lights on all night. Minor but there was no spatula….I would be happy to rebook if I was looking for accommodation in that area.

An older style of property and the star rating reflects this, that said, Large room, Fluffy towels. Very comfortable quilted mattress overlay, Quiet, Easy walk to dining and shopping options.
As seasoned travellers in our mid-sixties, it represented excellent value.

The property was very old. The room was very old looking with worn out decor. The bed very old and worn out & the Bedspread had a cigarette burn in it. The shower head was so old and full of grime and scale it didn’t work very well at all. The aircon sounded like a jumbo jet. The bar and restaurant where closed in the hotel.

There was mould on the ceiling in reception. From 10:38pm the toilet started making a terrible noise and this went all night. The only time it stopped was when we got up and flushed the toilet but then the noise started again 20mins later. Also we were only given one key/fob set to our room. We accidently walked out of the room without it. This happed approx 8pm at night. We phoned management and they were not impressed and quizzed us about the lights and air-conditioning being left on for some time. Location of motel was good but we won't stay here again.

The property was represented as having a view of Raby Bay. the only view was the car park. The door lock to the balcony was hanging by one loose screw and the cleaners forgot to clean our room 2 days in a row.
This place is very run down, dirty and the owners/managers care only about getting paid. Stay away if you can.

Great location for anyone attending the Raby Bay Triathlon. Walk across the road and rack your bike! We stayed in a family friendly townhouse. Unfortunately, there is no aircon in the upstairs bedrooms so be aware of this in the warmer months. However, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to others.

Hall carpets torn and dangerous. Room large; some probable renovation in bathroom; excellent shower but located over bath and difficult for older people to access. Large fluffy towels. Beds relatively comfortable but obviously quite old; pillows need replacing. All internals clean and cleaning staff lovely.

This place is located in town so is handy to the Pubs and restaurants in Cleveland.
The rooms and Motel are a little dated and need to upgraded. The bed I slept in was like sleeping on the floor it was that hard. The reception staff were clueless as to what a tax receipt was.

Old, run-diwn, uncared for hotel.
No bath mat, no hand towels. Pillows were flat and old, no cutlery supplied for purchased meals outside of hotel.
Maintenance was very poor. Tiling in bathroom grose!!! Tissue box had maybe 5 tissues in it. Pool was dirty. No one around to complain to after 2pm!!!
I won't be staying or recommending this hotel.
