Room was clean but dated. Shower was the best i have experienced in a hotel. Pillows were too soft for me but others may like. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Hotel needs modernization but i would definitely stay there again.

From check in to leaving it was a poor experience. You can’t run a tab in a bar if you are a resident, there is no al a carte restaurant, the check in was very slow, the room is dated and uncoordinated, my air conditioning blew warm air and could not be adjusted, the line for coffee at breakfast was over 20 minutes, could not exit the car park on check out because I’d handed in my key card so had to go back to reception where I had just checked out and they told me I should have kept my key card. Trrrible, would not recommend and will never go again. It’s not 4 star it’s a package holiday hotel.

What a wonderful experience we've had over Christmas. The staff were incredible, providing the best of care and comfort, both in our beautiful rooms entertainment lounge, and restaurant.

Delighted with our choice of hotel!

We were delighted with our choice of hotel from the moment we got into our lovely spacious room! The view was fabulous and we were away from the main area so not too noisy! The attention to cleanliness was fantastic. The bathroom was spotless. Bath mat was in a plastic seal along with the toilet sealed with a hygiene label. Even the remote control had been sanitised and sealed! In these strange times it was a relief to see that the hotel took hygiene so seriously. At the bar/restaurants the staff were constantly wiping down and sanitising as people left. We would definitely recommend this hotel. We would love to cime back!

We were only staying at the hotel for one night, which included lunch, dinner and breakfast,all of which were buffet meals with plenty of choice and the food was always piping hot, there were plenty of staff on duty and everything was cleared away very quickly. Our room was very nice and had a large terrace with a partial sea view. We would certainly return.

The Hotel was well situated between the resorts of La Garuccha and Mojocar.The bus stop for local and urban connections was immediately in front of the hotel opposite one of the many beaches. Food offered variety therfore no one need go hungry.Entertainment at the weekends was to be expected at this time of year. The hotel gardens were well attended providing large grass areas with views to the mountains.The interior was spacious and comfortable,let down by the extensive use of laminate flooring. An enjoyable visit plus good value.

Christmas in Mojacar

Room was good, food good, staff very helpful, we had a problem with the water in our bathroom and they were happy to change us to another room. Most rooms have a brilliant view and sunshine on the balcony. We have been 3 years in a row for Christmas and will go again.

Winter break wonder

I've been to this hotel before and had a good experience then, so returned for some winter sun and it didn't disappoint on both scores. What isn't asked to review is the food, but let me say it is out of this world, really excellent at ALL meals. Buffet service for all, and really efficient waiting staff. Entertainment is a bit hit and miss, and seems to depend on booming numbers - so although it's a family hotel, check what's on as there's little else to do outside of the hotel but is right across from the beach. Rooms are spotless, beds are huge and very comfy, walls are a bit thin though, so you could be in or out of luck with noisy neighbours.

Everything in and around the hotel was spotless our main concern was that the salads on the buffet were not up to the previous standard when we were there and the food was mostly quite cold despite the efforts of the staff to keep it warm with covers. The staff were all excellent right through and always keeping everything clean and tidy.

I had a great room
With a a great balcony. Comfy bed strong wifi and lovely shower. Food was excellent and the covered pool and gym were great. Huge screen in the bar for watching sport too. Just opposite the beach. Nothing to complain about at all and I really enjoyed my stay.

Nice hotel but check location is right for you

Nice looking, clean & comfortable hotel with nice views on Mojacar pueblo side. Food was excellent, with good variety and freshly prepared choices. Negatives for us where 1) location is too long a walk for some to shops and restaurants 2) no clear signage to restaurant that didn't involve stairs 3) kept waiting at check-in for 20 minutes without any acknowledgement while sole staff member wearing headset took a series of internal & external calls (didn't even make eye contact when she eventually gestured for our passports) - not a good first impression! 4) why in a massive bar area occupied by only 10 mature customers was in necessary to switch on a huge screen showing very loud modern music videos (in addition to the 2 TV screens showing quiz shows at the same time) which successfully emptied the bar of all guests.

Nice hotel, nice rooms. Very close to the golf course and the sea front. Very good wifi.
Unfortunately... the food was not to our liking, the evening entertainment could of been better, there was only 1 blanket on the bed so it was cold at night (December), theres not much around this area so had to walk about 40 minutes to get to Mojacar.

I have stayed in this hotel many times as my aunt lives nearby. I stayed in this hotel on my own and even though hotel itself is faultless I have never been and been happy with the room they place you in .

A really lovely hotel

The hotel staff were all beautifully trained in their respective jobs, from the maid service to the reception, and the restaurant.
We should like to particularly commend the restaurant manager, Diego, who kept an overall eye on everything going on, who was attentive, and professional.
The gardens of the hotel were really lovely, and very well maintained.
On the whole, we were very impressed with the condition of the hotel, and with the staff.

Hotel Servigroup Marina Playa - FANTASTIC!

The Hotel Servigroup Marina Playa was excellent. Can not fault this hotel in any way. We had a great time there. Food very good, including catering for Lactose free diets. The kids were more than happy with the selections for each meal. We were there full board. Diago (head waiter I think) was a star. Every hotel needs a Diago! All the staff were also very polite and helpful, especially the reception staff. No bother at all for them to call The Alhambra for us or print off our boarding passes. Fantastic all round service and amenities at this hotel. We would certainly go back. Ask for rooms on 5th floor overlooking the garden for great views of the sea and the Mojacar pueblo.

staff was very nice at check in, room was fine. took while to get baby cot, but got there. parking is small problem but got solved. beach nice, but with rocks in critical spot, so not easy beach to use for not accomplished swimmers. we had breakfast and dinner included, and would rate food in general as poor. breakfast somewhat okay, but dinner was not good. eating room cannot in all fairness be called a restaurant, it it a mess hall and nothing more. just a place to feed people.

Family friendly and spotless

This was my third visit to the hotel in the past ten years. It is very family friendly, catering mainly for Spanish guests. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was terrific with plenty of choice at both breakfast and evening meals. The staff are very helpful and the army of cleaners keep the hotel absolutely spotless. The bedroom sizes are great and feel spacious only for two and the bathrooms are surprisingly large. Overall a place I would recommend, especially with younger children.

great sea view.great live music in lounge. Unfortunately the room was suffocatingly dosed with perfumed air freshener. We found out that this was to mask the sewer gas smell emanating from the plumbing.

`Having stayed in this groups La Zenia hotel that has the same rating as Marina player it was very disapointing. The bed was hard same as the pillows. There was a plastic sheet covering the matress! No tea or coffee making facilities. The hairdryer was a joke, take your own. Next door can STEP onto the balcony with ease! The lighting was poor when alighting the lift on the lower floor sometimes not switch on at all. The buffet breakfast had good choices but the food was cold and poor quality if you wanted an English. The evening dinner buffet was average at best. Overall it was very poor and disapointing.

El horario de las comidas eran 2h. En cuanto llegaba la hora del cierre lo recogían todo a toda prisa, aunque hubiese gente desayunando-comiendo-cenando. Vas de vacaciones y quieres tener más margen porque vas desde la tranquilidad. Eran 2h: 8-10; 13.00-15.00 y 20,00-22.00. Dar un margen más de media hora o una hora por favor.
En el comedor habían zonas donde la comida estaba fría (paellas).
Busco cuando voy a hoteles gym y en éste tenías que pagar una cuota aún sin haber monitor… pienso que no es un servicio que contratas como un masaje para tener que pagar. Ya pagas bien por el hotel y forma parte del hotel. El horario es muy justo 10.00h-14.00h y 16.00h-20.00h. Deberia de estar de 7-21.00h.
El spa es el peor spa en el que he estado en mi vida. Consta de dos jacussis (frío y caliente) y dos saunas (una rota). Vale 10€ (me parece excesivo para lo que te ofrecen… nos costó 5€ por haber una estación rota. El jacussi de caliente no estaba caliente. Cuando fuimos mi pareja y yo no pudimos ni meternos prácticamente al jacussi caliente porque fueron 4 señoras y no salieron de ahí en 1h.
En la habitación las televisiones no tiene smart-tv. Fuimos con la intención de desconectar el fin de semana viendo nuestra serie y no pudimos verla. Son muy antiguas. En la habitación pasabas una calor brutal.
En la animación que estaba en el bar, el sonido es horrible. No entendías las canciones además que era desagradable de lo fuerte que estaba. Era ruido más que música.
La limpieza muy bien.

Nos dieron en temporada baja la peor habitación que encontraron, delante de la terraza habia un acceso y tuvimos que cerrar las cortinas los 2 días,cualquier habitación hubiera sido mejor. El desayuno muy malo, llegamos cuando faltaban 10 minutos y habían apagado las planchas, tuvimos que esperar a que se calentarán y luego retiraron lo que estaba expuesto sin contar que nosotros no habíamos terminado. Al día siguiente desayunamos en una cafeteria

La comida es excelente: variada, sabrosa y siempre bien presentada. El personal del comedor destaca por su amabilidad y atención constante.

Instalaciones:
Las cuatro piscinas son fantásticas, especialmente la zona con toboganes, que fue el lugar favorito de mis hijos.

Animación:
El equipo de animación es encantador. Todos los espectáculos han sido muy divertidos y entretenidos. Una mención especial para la monitora Gema, ¡una auténtica profesional que transmite alegría y energía!

Limpieza:
A pesar del continuo movimiento de huéspedes, la limpieza ha sido impecable. Siempre encontramos la habitación perfectamente ordenada y limpia.

Reserve indicando como sugerencia y solicitud que venía a trabajar, por ello interese habitación tranquila. Nos dieron la habitación más próxima a los ascensores, segunda, circunstancia que obliga al paso de todos los huespedes de la zona, con vistas maravillosas al parking en el que estaban los autobuses circunstancia que aumentaba el ruido en la habitación, agradecer que se haya comprendido y atendido a mi sugerencia (sarcasmo pues no me podrían haber puesto en peor sitio creo yo). Respecto a la comida, entiendo que debido a los grupos (autobuses) hicieron que bajase la calidad pues fue muy monótona y repetitiva pollo, burguer mismo pescado, mismo postre día tras día…en mi opinion la comida no se corresponde con un hotel de 4 estrellas, si no más bien un 3 bajo. Respecto al personal del hotel encantador, desde el primero hasta el último y las instalaciones las entiendo adecuadas. Es mi humilde opinión conforme a mi experiencia

Un hotel decente, pero cansado

El hotel es correcto y tiene todos los servicios. Spa, piscina, habitaciones grandes, etc. El restaurante es lo malo - la gente es muy agradable y han ayudado mucho con la comida sin gluten, en eso un 10. Pero la comida en sí no es muy buena y el sistema de gestión para ir a cenar (papelito en recepción, entregarlo en el restaurante, luego otro papelito para la bebida que se paga aparte. De la era pre-digital!). En fin, un hotel decente, pero que necesita urgentemente una reforma.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel

Nous sommes restés trois nuits dans cet hôtel au mois d'octobre.
La chambre spacieuse avec une jolie vue sur la mer a été le point le plus positif par rapport au prix de la nuitée.
Concernant la restauration, choix important et de bonne facture que ce soit pour le petit déjeuner ou le diner. Personnel accueillant.
Grande piscine extérieur avec autour de jolis aménagements paysagers bien entretenus. Nous avons pu profiter avec bonheur de cette piscine extérieure en ce mois d'octobre, peu de monde à cette période.
Le seul (petit) point négatif est la situation géographique de l'hôtel, celui-ci est un peu excentré par rapport à la partie la plus jolie de la plage de Mojacar.

Buena experiencia, limpio, agradable, con un bufet muy completo. El único detalle a mejorar, es el molesto ruido que produce la tarima flotante de los pasillos al pisarla. Y como detalle que merece felicitación especial, el trabajo de Inma en el SPA, muy agradable y profesional.

Se cobra a los niños mayores de 2 años

Hemos estado bien pero no me ha gustado que cobren a los menores de 3 años el minimo estipulado, los hoteles normalmente no cobran a menores de 12 años o al prime niño gratis. Ya que mi hija tiene 27 meses y duerme con nosotros y solo come paratas fritas y salchichas de franfur.

Personal muy amable, todo estaba muy limpio y la comida muy buena.
El ambiente del hotel era muy bueno sin demasiados ruidos.
