This hotel is GREAT. We've stayed there two years in a row. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lot of character. The rooms are comfortable, and there are lots of lounges and gathering areas. The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to the city center. Great views and food nearby. Highly recommend

One of the best hotels in Reykjavik. Weve been to many and this one is in a great location, had balcony rooms to see.the northern lights (yes you can see them great from the rooms) , great breakfast, free parking, and helpful staff. Joanaa specifically gave us her agenda and saved our trip. We do spontaneous trips and came without an itinerary. Using hers made our trip 1000 times better and we even came back months later, stayed in the hotel again and were able to thank her. Out of all the berjayas in Iceland, this is the best. 2nd would be in Hofn. We did not like the berjaya in Akureyri as the restaurant wasnunder construction and the rooms felt like a old classroom turned hotel

The guys at reception were enthusiastically helpful; we got a lot out of our only 2 day stay in Reykjavik, and it all went smoothly thanks to their advice. The lounges were very comfortable, the library had some great titles, and the Fisk in a Pan at restaurant was to die for.

The location was perfect. Bus stop 15 is a fabulous location for all excursions and airport transfers, there’s a great Starbucks nearby, a lovely harbour walk, beautiful ships, old harbour house for whale watching and lovely food, a great selection of little restaurants on the harbour, it’s just a heavenly location. Gorgeous room although road noise so would have preferred a marina view. We had a suite which had a sofa bed in the lovely living area, 2 TV’s, lovely bathroom with bath and shower. Breakfast is nice. Staff are great, location very handy.

We loved everything about this hotel. Our gorgeous room with huge bath, wee balcony and stunning view. The friendly, knowledgeable staff who were only too happy to help - and added an extra special touch for my daughter's 16th. The location is great - quiet but central. And the fresh, plentiful varied breakfast buffet was very much appreciated every morning.

What a great place to stay. Lovely, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, very welcoming, great room with a great view, and lovely quality toiletries. Comfy bed, although I would’ve preferred a non feather pillow. Lots of quirky relaxing areas in the hotel to hang out in. Great breakfast with bacon cooked how it should be. Easy walking distance into the town centre but also right on the harbour. If I come back to this amazing country again, and I intend to, this will definitely be my hotel of choice again. The hotel was everything we could have hoped for. The location was brilliant, a short walk to the harbour and the nearest bus stop for excursions was a 2 minute walk. The city centre and tourist hotspots were walkable too.

OK, I work for a hotel Shane, but the hotel Channing worked for did not have a good rate at it’s the nicest hotel probably in Rajevac because there was a big conference going on so I had to go look for something on my own until I joined my group That a group tour that actually picked a wonderful hotel so I had three nights on my own. I went to this website hotels.com and I studied and I looked hard at the pictures and I just don’t feel that this hotel was represented properly. The picture of the room is not what my room was like. The bed was comfortable. The sheets were clean. I will say that I will say it was clean. Cleanliness was definitely clean thank goodness, but I prepaid the breakfast was not included even with my Tour group at the hotel we stayed out which is like 10 times nicer than this hotel breakfast was included seriously also the reviews said all the staff was just so amazing. They helped them with so many things. They were so wonderful. I did not find that at all. They were not rude, but they were not overly exceptionally wonderful except there was just one lady one day when I needed some help with something she was exceptional, and I looked at her and I said so you must be who those reviews were talking about. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. You will not like it. It’s far outalthough it worked my Tour buses drop me off at the bus stop 15 and all that it’s further from everything you wanna go more into the city anyway I don’t recommend this hotel

Perfect location. I was able to walk to shops nearby and the church. My room was small by American standards but very well designed and laid out. The Lopi blanket was a nice touch. I wish they sold them at the hotel as one would have come home with me. I read a comment before I arrived that said to ask for the Marina side if you have a balcony room so thank you to that person. My only note is parking is not available. I ended up parking on a side street or the whale watching lot. It was not a big deal and it was free. I had no issues and as a solo traveler felt perfectly safe at night. When I return to Iceland I will stay here again. It was awesome.

So unique from the second you step in the door. The front desk staff (shoutout to Daniel) are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The decor of the lobby area is perfect with lots of seating and cute little seating areas as well as being attached to the restaurant.
The rooms are small but perfectly laid out and decorated. I loved having a balcony looking out at the marina.
The bathroom amenities are amazing (L’Occitane), and the room comes with a nice will blanket for cool nights (or balcony sitting).
Being right in the marina it’s slightly outside of all the city centre hype, but a super easy and scenic walk in.
I loved everything about this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Parking can be challenge. It’s on a gravel lot that you need to walk to from the hotel. Room is not huge but clean and upgraded. Breakfast is good, an excellent variety of selections. This was the first and last hotel we stayed in Iceland, we will definitely come back again!

Overall property is fantastic and perfectly located for walking around downtown with kids. Close to grocery stores and attractions. Studio-6 room was perfect for family of 4. Be aware that these rooms sit just below sidewalk level facing towards the street, and can somewhat get warm and stuffy in the summer (no central air in Iceland). Opening the windows brought in cool air, but also noise from the street. Overall we would definitely book this hotel/room again - but bring a small plug-in fan.
