Open the door, smells beautiful but not over powering, bathroom has toiletries and fluffy towels, shower over bath - not so good for people with mobility problems, needs up dating. Beds are made well and are so comfortable, small but adequate balcony with a nice view. Resturant for meals is clean, food is excellent, made fresh for you or take from prepared area. Overall i absolutely loved my stay here.

FABULOUS RELAXING BREAK

Lovely hotel and adults only is a bonus (sorry kids 😅). Some areas are looking a little tired (wallpaper seams opening
in some of the rooms etc) but the hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms cleaned and towels replaced everyday. Food is wonderful, a very varied selection and all freshly prepared. The staff and service are excellent, would definitely recommend.

We meet my brother there for a couple of nights. The rooms are beginning to look tired. My brothers room the wallpaper was curling up on the joins! The bathroom only had a bath with a shower over head which as an elderly couple is not easy to get into. If we were to stay there again or for for anyone else going I would say to upgrade the room to one with a large terrace. Most of the other terraces are a waste of time. If you sit on it you either look at a brick wall of the rooms glass door. Plus you couldn’t open the door very wide. The night that Spain had tithe blackout was handled very well by the hotel. Food very good but needed more staff at the bar so that they could clean the area by the pool. Food and drink left all day which encouraged the sea gulls to come and finish the drinks and food, plus have a dip in the pool! There are no tea of coffee making facilities but reception will give you a kettle if you ask them.

We had a lovely 1- night half board stay at the Alegria palacio Mojacar. The food exceeded expectations. Staff lovely, drinks prices reasonable. We watched some Flamenco dancing in the hotel bar with a cocktail. Spa quite unique,2 saunas, a steam room and many different jets to discover in the pool €15 each for 90 minutes slot. Only downside is that nothing much else is in walking distance apart from the beach and a small supermarket.

From the welcoming smile at reception, with a complimentary glass of cava, everything about this hotel felt special.
The friendliness of all the staff, the cleanliness of all rooms and communal spaces, the spaciousness of the bedroom, the quality and quantity of the food on offer and the value for money all helped to make this a truly wonderful experience.
We definitely intend to repeat our visit next year.

The lobby furniture was in a very poor condition with significant rips and tears In sine seat cushions and arms. A diffuser filled the air with an overpowering scent and the grounds needed work. The buffets had a good variety of food but it was middle of the road at best. Not particularly hot or tasty, merely adequate. The staff were pleasant but did but go out of their way to be extra helpful or welcoming. We were quite disappointed, given the reviews we had read and upon which we based our selection of hotels.

This hotel are now having cycle tours staying. They are so noisy when in the restaurant and when collecting their bikes and returning. They are loud and slam doors early and late, also wear cycling shoes to pace up and down hotel bedroom, they have no respect for other guests... Would not return to this hotel for this reason.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the hotel was super clean and the staff respectful and helpful. The food in the restaurant was to a good standard ,could have been more choices and the food warmer ,but what we had was very nice.
The location is in a quiet spot ,behind the golf course but Mojacar is very accessable if you want it.
Really the only downside was the cost of a gin and tonuc in the bar, a small point i know but very annoying. I ordered a g&t for my wife which had little gin it , she couldn,t taste it....i think it must of evaoorated between the bar and our table and we were charged 6.70 for it...a premium price for what should have been a premium drink..!!
Needless to say she chose differently for the rest of our stay.
Apart from that we had a good break although we may try another hotel next time.

Our stay coincided with the last 3 days before the Hotel closed. The room we had was a sea view which was nice but the room itself is very basic. Definitely not 4 star. the buffet breakfast was good and the anti virus arrangements were very good. The staff were friendly. Parking available but not enough to accommodate all guests.

Hotel was very nice and amenities excellent. The only thing I was disappointed with was having to share a common room with another couple. Every time we went to get coffee to drink they had used it all even all water. Cups were used so if you wanted to use them you had to wash them before hand. It would have been better for the machine to be in your room instead. Would think again about booking the room which I had as it had been for a special occasion for us both.I did speak with the reception manager before I left.

Great modern hotel, great staff, great vfm.

This is a lovely new hotel set back a bit from the rocky foreshore and a couple of kilometres either way to Garrucha or Mojacar Playas. Good pool and loungers though so not too much of a problem.
Bikes cost 10€ a day to hire, (20€ for electric) if you want to get out and about.
Buffet is as you would expect, varies theme from night to night and there is an option for meat or fish to be cooked to order from the chef’s station.
We got a great intrnet deal with hotels com for half board which was fine for us.
Great modern value for money, a bit far out but staff all fantastic and helpful.
You won’t go wrong with this one but check it’s location out first on Google Earth.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The terrace out the back where they have evening entertainment is great, the staff always make sure people have drinks and somewhere to sit. The staff at this hotel are very friendly and always have a smile and greet you warmly. The pool area is lovely along with the pool bar. Being an adult only hotel, means it’s lovely and quiet, with the odd chatter and laughter. We only stayed b&b for one night. The room we booked was a basic double, and you get what you book, our room was 107, which was on the first floor overlooking the car park. Unfortunately it was very noisy with people chattering outside, the noise of people arriving in cars kept us awake, so not a great nights sleep. The room was ok not the best I have stayed in, the air con was just ok not very powerful. Overall a nice hotel, breakfast is great with a great selection, and we had English speaking guests we could chat too 😀.

Nice hotel. Very clean and great facilities. Check in was a bit of a faff, as I had to log onto their wifi, to log into my email to forward them the booking confirmation from expedia, which I have never had to do before. The room was nice, but there was an initial arm-pitty smell, which did go. Maybe air-con? The safe did not work and the balcony door would not lock, but I reported this to reception and both were fixed that day, and they left a bottle of cava in the room as a sorry, which is fine. Prices at the hotel for food and drink were reasonable.

Although first impressions were good the hotel is mainly geared to all inclusive and the dinner choice was only a buffet style offering, no choice for a la carte and a fair walk to any other restaurant so you really need a car to stay here! Another point is there is obviously a big cycling clientele which we were not aware of and whilst lying around the pool large numbers of Lycra clad ones come riding through the pool area to get to their cycle stop which was not great when you are lying and relaxing on a sunbed!!

arrival & quick check in at hotel by a smiling and helpful Jonah was very good. Our room was clean & comfortable and possibly designed for disabled people, but if this is so then i think they wii struggle with the bathroom design as the floor is very slippery and for wheelchair users a lot of things are out of reach. We found it to be suitable for us as a mature couple.
The buffet restaurant is a let down, as usual in spanish hotels they do not cater for vegetarians as they cook meat and fish together on the same griddle which puts people off eating, also the same at breakfast with omelettes using the same pan . But having said all of that we did enjoy the hotel & would return.
The only downside was the spa staff. We paid using a credit card and having been told to only pay in euros and to hold onto the card machine until it starts to transact due to other retailers changing the amount back to sterling and us being charged a higher rate. I did this and the person was not happy and snatched it back from me which i thought was rude. This has happened before somewhere else in Mojacar and i just don't understand it as it is my choice how i pay. Just hold onto the card reader whatever they want you to do!!!

Failed after reception.

Staff at front of house were great. However the room we were given had filthy curtains, patio area was dirty and walls had red felt tip writing on then. Floor tiles were cracked and the bathroom flooded when showering making it like a skating rink.
The room was also very noisy from either the lift or troll ids in the dinning room and industrial fans. I did complain and was told the noise would stop round 10pm and the only other room available was a suite. The noise went on all night leaving me with little or no sleep.
Breakfast was mediocre and seemed more turned towards other nationalities than British.
Pool area was clean and tidy.
Other all the hotel seems a little tired and our bed was very very firm.
Not vastly impressed and would grade the hotel a reluctant 3star at a push once the modern reception area is passed.
Certainly not good value for money.

Good location for exploring the area by car. Bus right outside to go to all local villages and amenities. Food is very God and drinks are very reasonable (glass of wine €2.25).
Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast picnic available if you have to catch an early flight.
Could do with a kettle in the room to make coffee and tea.
Will go again to try out the amazing spa.

After reading excellent reports about it we found it disappointing. The furnishings were sparse more for appearance than comfort. The main course food was cold with poor quality cuts of meat. Although close to the sea there was no beach or anywhere to walk in the evening. Entertainment poor. Spa not open till beginning of week and no information about it or local events.

The general experience was very good. We were happy there. Good selection of food, hospitable staff, great location and very relaxed atmosphere.

What it lacks is general knowledge of staff about the local area, the attractions, places to go to eat, etc.

The hotel itself lacks basic amenities such as kettle and coffee and tea bags in the room, a better selection of drinks in the mini fridge instead of bottles of water which we only found on the first day. Probably an oversight but the first day we arrived the toilet was not cleaned by any means and the bed sheet was dirty.

Also we did not feel that we felt welcome enough. We had to take our own luggage to the reception through the lift which we never had to do as they had no concierge.

In overall I would say good to very good but I don't think we will go back.

Stayed here for four nights. Hotel is bright and clean. Buffet breakfast was ample. Staff friendly and helpful. Paid extra for a premium seaview balcony, which was large but had no extra furniture than the regular balconies, so there was no real benefit to paying extra. If there had been loungers on the balcony, the upgrade charge would be worthwhile. Paid to use the spa pools for two days which was a great way to relax and unwind. The only challenge for this hotel is the location. The nearest beach is within walking distance, but is a pebble/shingle beach. The nicer sandy beaches are located about two miles down the road. This is where you will also find the best selection of cafes and restaurants. This means that you need to drive to sample some of the more popular restaurants. This is not a deal breaker, but it would be a factor when choosing where to stay next time. Apart from that, the hotel was very good.

The hotel is modern and well maintained. The rooms are clean and well looked after. Towels were changed without asking. The atmosphere at the hotel is professional and relaxed and the staff are very courteous. Tried the buffet meal one evening, but wasn't overly impressed with the quality of the food, albeit it isn't expensive. The main course sides were not very hot and not wholly palatable. On the other hand breakfast was very good. Liked the general ambience of the hotel and would most certainly return at some point in the future.

The hotel was wonderful as were the staff. In particular our restaurant waiter was extremely attentive.
The only constructive criticism I have is the food needs to be served hotter as most was barely warm and some was cold. Something must have been said as our waiter did offer to warm our food in a microwave. It should be warm to start with. Really other than that our stay was very enjoyable. We had a premium room which was very good and had a huge terrace overlooking the sea.

Sehr schöne, neuwertige Zimmer und Bäder, sehr gute Betten.
Besonders zu erwähnen ist die hervorragende Essensqualität, die unserer Erfahrung nach einem 5-Sterne-Hotel entspricht. Auch die Getränkepreise waren während unseres Aufenthaltes eher als günstig zu bezeichnen.
Der Gartenbereich mit Pool war während unseres Aufenthaltes (April 2024) fast verwaist. Wir hatten freie Auswahl und verbrachten angenehme Stunden auf einem der beiden Sunbeds.
Leider war stundenweise in diesem Bereich ein sehr unangnehmer Güllegeruch wahrnehmbar. Woher dieser Geruch kam, konnten wir nicht ausfindig machen, und da wir nur 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht haben, hatte es für uns keine Priorität.
Das Hotel liegt nur einige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt, zu anderen Lokalitäten oder zu Geschäften muss man schon 15 bis 25 Minuten laufen. Ursprünglich hatten wir nur 2 Übernachten/HP gebucht und haben dann - nicht über das Hotel sondern ein Buchungsportal - um eine weitere Nacht verlängert. Für diese eine Nacht mussten wir leider in einer anderes Zimmer ziehen, weil wir eine günstigere Zimmerkategorie gebucht hatten. Das fanden wir von Seiten des Hotels unflexibel, zumal das Hotel nicht ausgebucht war und wir keine frische Bettwäsche bzw. Handtücher und auch kein Room-Cleaning benötigt hätten.

Hotel tranquilo para disfrutar unos dias de descanso maravillosos

El complejo es comodo, no hay aglomeraciones de ningun tipo (fuimos en agosto). Habia tumbonas de sobra, en el comedor siempre habia muchas mesas disponibles, habitaciones amplias, sitio para aparcar al lado del hotel… le damos un 9
Solo una apreciacion y es que las almohadas olian mucho a humedad-sudor y aunque nos las cambiaron siempre habia un minimo de olor.
Buffet un poco flojo en calidad, no en variedad.
Si no hibiera sido por este detalle, todo de 10.

El hotel es precioso, con muchas zonas verdes, en las piscinas hay muchas zonas para tomar el sol, el servicio de camareros genial, siempre atentos, las comidas buenas y de calidad y el spa muy bueno y Almudena muy amable y atenta.

Mit Hund: no Alegria

Wir (Paar ü50 mit kleinem Hund) hatten ein palacio Zimmer. Das Zimmer war hübsch und vor allem geräumig. Allerdings lag es direkt über der Terrasse der Bar, auf welcher bis Mitternacht Betrieb herrscht, inklusive laute Musik.
Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht, was wir jedoch bereits am ersten Tag bereuten: der Speisesaal hat keine Atmosphäre (ähnlich einer Kantine), das Essen (Buffet) war OK, aber nicht besonders.
Mit dem Hund darf man nicht in den Speisesaal, was wir akzeptieren. Wir haben deshalb gefragt, ob wir auf der Terrasse essen dürfen, damit wir den Hund dabei haben können. Das war aber auch nicht möglich, da man kein Essen aus dem Speisesaal rausnehmen darf. Das Personal konnte uns keine Option anbieten, das Essen in irgend einem Bereich des Hotels im Beisein unseres Hundes einzunehmen. Wir mussten also den Hund alleine im Zimmer einsperren, was wir sehr ungern machen. Das Hotel wirbt damit, dass Haustiere willkommen sind (deshalb haben wir es ausgewählt), aber diese fehlende Flexibilität hat uns enttäuscht. Wir sind schon häufig mit Hund gereist und waren in zahlreichen Hotels, und immer wurde uns eine Möglichkeit geboten, das Essen mit dem Hund in der Bar oder auf der Terrasse zu verbringen.

Hotel propre et confortable chambre spacieuse helas au dessus d'une terrasse où se joue de la musique jusqu'à minuit.
Les chambres au palais vue mer sont très spacieuses avec escalier et ascenseur privés

De nombreuses attentions durant notre séjour ce qui contre balance les désagréments.
Bonne table bonne cuisine!

Contemporain et grand!

Un hôtel bien placé à proximité de la plage. Une chambre grande et contemporaine seule l’isolation phonique avec le couloir devrait être améliorée…vous entendez ce qui se passe dans le couloir. Un super petit déjeuner complet vous attend le matin.

Ok, aber die Erwartungen nicht erfüllt

Ok, aber die Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Frühstück wird im Untergeschoss eingenommen, ich hätte aber lieber draussen auf der Terrasse frühstücken wollen. Parkplätze vor dem Hotel waren immer belegt, wur mussten dann auf der Strasse, außerhalb der Hotelanlage parkieren. Erst am letzten Tag sahen wir, dass es anscheinend ein Parking gegeben hätte? Auch der Service, gegenüber „AI-Kunden“ mit Armbändchen sehr freundlich, uns gegenüber aber grad so das nötigste. Insgesamt haben wir uns nicht wohl gefühlt und werden zukünftig wieder in unserem „Stammhotel“ buchen.

Estancia agradable. Jardines, piscina, animación, entorno, calidad de las camas y almohadas, servicio.....Pero hay un problema de insonorización. Conversaciones en los pasillos se oyen como si estuvieran dentro de la habitación. Las puertas solo sirven para abrirlas y cerrarlas. No insonorizan en absoluto. cuando mueven las perchas en la habitación de al lado te sobresaltas seguro. Una lástima. El resto perfecto

Es hermoso el lugar, las instalaciones bien, lo que no me ha gustado son los horarios sobre todo el desayuno, estando de vacaciones que te toqué el turno de las 8 para desayunar es como darlo por perdido.... para la cena también los españoles desayunamos, almorzamos y cenamos en otros horarios.Por otro lado el montacargas de maletas es lento e incomodo al no estar la recepción al nivel de la calle.Lo demás perfecto todo.

Hotel idóneo para descansar

Sin duda alguna lo mejor de este hotel es su equipo humano. Desde recepción hasta cocineros, pasando por camareros y animación son personas que hacen sentirte como en casa. El único pero es el entorno que es como si estuviera entre dos tierras ( mojacar playa y garrucha) y hay que coger coche para ir playa, aunque para mi no es malo.
