We had a lovely stay. The rooms are large all that was missing was tea / coffee making facilities. A great hotel in an easy transport area with amenities ear by. Entertainment was loud but fine and fun and didn’t go on too late. Room sound proofing was great. Breakfast fantastic selection. Pool was lovely. A great stay!

Beds were very comfortable.
Compère/presenter announcements were in Spanish only.
Balcony furniture very dated and plastic molded chair collapsed when sat on.
Satellite tv, no English channels?

The staff in every area are wonderful. It's a very Spanish environment which we loved. Spanish couples,families and groups of all ages and types. Food was of fantastic quality and value - and fresh different options every day. The pool is actually like two large pools, one deep , so great for swimming. Both pools kept clean and no inflatables or ball games except organised water polo. Lots of sunbeds
Right on the sea.
Negatives? The parasols need replacing, and the rooms are large but very basic furnishings. However spotless and bathrooms refurbished. Aircon centrally controlled and we like much cooler. But this is a Spanish hotel and like Spanish taxis, warm for us. The beach looks great but sand coarse and gritty. It shelves immediately. So overall fantastic value and thankfully very Spanish. If you want English experience wrong resort for you.

This was our 2nd visit to Best Hotel Mojacar & it still came up to expections spacious room with sea view & a small fridge, decent sized bathroom, & good selection in the restaurent, plenty of space around the pool for topping up the sun tan, there is a shop on site & a supermarket nearly opposite the main door, we did have one problem on this visit , a few families with children arrived & left them unattended most of the time , very noisy around the pool, but they were also unattended in the restaurent, once again very noisy but also fingering the food was the worse bit, this will not put of going again .

Great hotel

booked 4 nights, stayed for a month, the staff are friendly, and the place is clean and bright, the facilities are good and it never felt overcrowded, even when the hotel was full over the may holiday weekend,

The majority of clients while we were there were Spanish, so not surprisingly the food was catered to them, sometimes it was not quite so hot from the buffet, however at every meal and breakfast they were cooking different foods fresh in the restaurant, the food rotated too so different things to find each day, as well as all the staples, there was always plenty there too!

If there was an issue for me, it would be that there is a stage near the pool where on hot and busy nights the evening entertainment took place, so if you have a room overlooking the pool, on some days don't expect to get to sleep until after 11:30

The room was large, has a fridge, hair dryer and a free safe, although it may be a little dated now, it was in good repair and freshly painted, i found the two large beds comftable, and there are a plenty of seats, and wardrobe space (10 hangers) you are provided with some toiletrie items, handwash, shampoo and body milk, and some other bits and pieces (there was even a couple of free drinks), the rooms are serviced every day!

you can also get a kettle, lounger towels, and a iron from reception,after leaving a returnable deposit..

there is a bar, and the prices are ver reasnable, i think overall i would say a very good hoterl and recomend!

Depends what you like from a holiday

Rooms very clean and loads of room at the pool and pool area was very cleaned.

Buffet was very good value and friends used it regularly

On the downside it’s not a quiet hotel so if you want a quiet time at the pool , it’s not possible as music is loud and music doesn’t end until 11.30pm and then guests hang around the pool area until 1am so it’s hard to sleep . I did mention this to management and their opinion was that all guests need to be accommodated and I could move but I had a sea view room so how would it change ????

Weekend in mojacar.

Given this was a stay in 'covid times' we were a little concerned but the hotel was very clean..always somebody cleaning and disinfecting.staff were respectful but saw them reminding people about some measures.
Location was great,facilities very good.Ate in the restaurant one night with an amazing buffet for 15 euros pp.Breakfast was equally good..great selection.
Bed comfortable,shower great.Really impressed and will visit again.

Distancing measures an issue in restaurant

Overall the hotel not bad. The pool area really nice and the pool fab. In these difficult times the hotel did their best, but the restaurant was their downfall. There were blue lines on the floor for distancing, when getting your food, but guests totally disregarded these lines as greed overtook their senses, not the hotels fault but maybe a member of staff should be there to implement these very important rules. We did feel uncomfortable and so spent as little time in there as possible, gobbling our food down as quickly as possible, it was not very relaxing. The plates were really dirty, you had to search for a clean one, as was the cutlery, filthy. We had taken our own cutlery anyway, so we were ok.
The hotel is very nice, in a great position but there needs to be more done to be safe in these worrying times.

It is ok to spend some time with kids. It is a bit outdated but clean. Staff was very kind. It is right in front of the beach and the Swimming pool is good. Not much to do around the hotel and you have to take the car to go to a restaurant. Food was a bit below average. Also there were hand sanitizer Spots everywhere and the provided you with a CoVid kit with hand sanitizer, gloves and a good quality facemask. Overall it is a good hotel for a short holiday break, with good entertainment for kids.

The hotel and our overall stay was awesome. The only thing to note was that the receptionist had the British flag in her name tag, which implies that she speaks English and she did not at all. Other than that it was great. We upgraded to a room with a sea view for only €3 extra per person per night.

Pool was great. But loud entertaining every night till late was heard throughout the Hotel. Reception did not give us info about costs of meals, borrowing towel, minibar drinks. Wifi was terrible in the room. Balcony door didn’t have handle on the outside. Plug was only next to one bed.

Problem of no handrails on steps and over bath.

We had a good stay for our 55th wedding anniversary. Our one complaint was lack of handrails in bathroom and on steps from reception to bedroom. Reception and our bedroom was all on floor 1, but there was steps from reception to corridor. My wife could not go up or down steps without a handrail. And handrails in a bath is a safety issue. A bath can be very slippy. Regarding the issue of getting the loaded trolley from reception to bedroom, we had to go across foyer to main lift, up to 2nd floor, along corridor then down in the other lift to 1st floor. Which came out opposite our bedroom. That process had to be repeated in reverse when we were leaving the hotel.
But other than that we had an enjoyable stay, good size bedroom and the choice of food was good.

Cerca de la playa cruzando la carretera. Almohadas un poco bajas. Comida del buffet poco variada y nada para niños como nuggets. Personal de recepción no muy amables sólo algunos y poca información. Personal de bar algunos cómo Juanma muy bien . La señora que cobra en restaurante no nos miraba ni a la cara Ana. Socorrista poco amable chico de rojo. Siempre con movil .
Platos y copas no repasadadas y sucias. Personas podían entrar al hotel por puerta de la piscina que estaba abierta. La piscina no la limpiaban. Señoras de la limpieza muy bien. Tienda de souvenir y supermercado Coviran muy cerca. Muebles de habitación muy antiguos y rotos y suelo desgastado. De lo demás nos gustó po cercanía al mar y sin mosquitos. Chiringuitos cerca y comercio con tiendas y bares . Hicimos excursión al Cabo de gata muy bien. De lo demás el ambiente con gorriones muy tranquilo. Lidl cerca en Garrucha . Paisaje muy bonito con palmeras y captus .

Definitivamente no repetiría en ningún caso. A pesar de solicitar una pensión completa nos han hecho pagar todas las bebidas, poca amabilidad con la familias con niños, no hay necesidad que la piscina esté totalmente vacía y el niño no puedo tener un hinchable porque molesta a las personas mayores y porque no es necesario porque no se va a ahogar. Si no quieren niños deberían de colocar el hotel adult only

Sauberkeit ..TOP, Service ..TOP .Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer über dem Speisesaal und da war es unmöglich mal Ruhe im Zimmer zu finden, ständiges Stühle rücken war die Katastrophe... Bei dem 2. Zimmer ging die Balkontür nicht zu, weil sie so verzogen war. Bei dem Sturm im Oktober ganz schlecht...Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt aber sehr langweilig. Im Gegensatz zu meinen letzten Aufenthalten in einem oder diesem Best Hotel ..war ich sehr enttäuscht !!! Wir schauen nächstes mal in ein anderes Hotel von Best.

Je m’étais trompé d’adresse , c’était à 120 kilomètres d’où je devais aller .
J’ai donc essayé de suite , d’avoir quelqu’un pour annuler ma réservation en vain
résultat j’ai payer 76 e pour rien , puisque nous n’y sommes pas aller . Du vol je déconseille à tout mon entourage hôtel.com

Un Hotel confortable, limpio y con las instalaciones en buen estado. La zona de la piscina es genial terraza muy amplia y muchas muchas amacas y sombrillas. El personal muy amable. Me ha encantado estar 3n este hotel, muy muy bien ubicado, la limpieza, el trato, el servicio, la comida!!! Todo un 10!
Una recomendación por favor que hagan una separación /distinción en las mesas y las tumbonas para fumadores y para no fumadores, porque es asqueroso tener a 10cm a alguien fumando y tú tragándome el asqueroso humo.

El personal del hotel es de diez.
Tanto recepcionistas, como servicio del buffet y especialmente la atención en piscina con el socorrista, hamaquero y todo el personal de animación. Maravilloso.

La única cosa negativa a destacar el servicio de buffet del almuerzo. (El desayuno maravilloso). La comida del mediodía muy caro para lo que se ofrece y la calidad.

Difícil la.hora de buscar hamacas en la piscina, ya que todo estaba lleno o reservado con toallas sin dueño. En las comidas se acumulaban los clientes y había pocos puestos de comida, incluso un día a 1h aún del cierre de les acabaráon los burritos y quesadillas y no volvieron a reponer. Muchas personas nos quedamos sin poder probarlo por mala gestión.

Na receção foram simpáticos e acessíveis, os quartos são grandes e com ar condicionado. Tínhamos varanda com cadeiras e mesas. Um muito obrigado à empregada do restaurante, a senhora luisa, e ao empregado do bar, ao senhor Mariano, pela simpatia e excelente atendimento prestado nestes dias todos, muito simpáticos e excelentes pessoas. Equipa de animação simpática, mas havia pouca animação. Para o valor pago (600€casal) e em regime tudo incluído, valeu a pena. A praia esta mesmo ao lado do hotel, basta atravessar a estrada. As toalhas de banho são 10€ cada uma, sendo devolvido no check out.

La estancia ha sido agradable porque al ser Octubre el número de personas alojadas no era muy grande y los servicios del hotel son suficientes. En temporada alta las instalaciones del hotel son insuficientes para atender de forma adecuada al número personas que pueden alojarse. Ni los ascensores, ni la piscina ni su entorno, ni el parking son suficientes.

Prima hotel maar rumoerig en verkeerde locatie

prima hotel, maar wat ons betreft nooit meer in zo een giga groot hotel met \"entertainment\" ofwel pokkenherrie tot 11 of zelfs 12 uur 's avonds toe. Ook de locatie lijkt mooier dan het is, wel direct aan zee maar op 3 km van het \"leuke deel\" van Mojacar Playa, dus eigenlijk nogal afgelegen. Alle boeking-sites zouden bij dit type hotels moeten vermelden dat het voornamelijk een familiehotel is met 80% Spaanse families met kleine kinderen, en dus minder geschikt voor rustzoekers of senioren, dat zou een grote verbetering zijn !

La conservacion de las instalaciones deja que desear. Parece más un hotel de 3 * que de 4*.
No tiene termostato de temperatura en las habitaciones. Sólo 3 velocidades. Al entrar siempre un olor a tuberia muy desagradable.
El bufete aunque es abundante, siempre es mas o menos igual, salvo la temática de la noche. Estube dos dias y lo preparado en el momento es lo mismo. Dos dias el mismo pescado y la misma carne. Calidad media baja de los alimentos. Café de maquina.
La zona tranquila, pero para comer o tomar algo en la noche hay que coger el coche.

Despues de haber estado y pagado 316€ por dos noches de diario en media pensión, solo puedo decir que me parece caro, ya que no alcanza las 4* ni por aproximación.

En general está bien, recomendable para familias con hijos pequeños. Lo peor es la limpieza. Cuando llegamos la habitación estaba muy sucia, fueron a limpiarla por nuestra queja y para sorpresa nuestra seguia el suelo lleno de pelusas y suciedad

El alojamiento en sí, está muy bien, es un gran hotel con una gran piscina y muy cerca de la playa.
El sitio para aparcar es complicado té toca dar vueltas y vueltas …
Las habitaciones son muy amplias y confortables, la caja fuerte gratuita …

El tema de desayuno comida y cena, pues repetitivo como en todos los hoteles pero abundante. Los sábados hay cena especial (marisco jajajaj)
El tema de la animación nocturna aunque los chicos son majisimos es pobre…de 22:30 a 23:30 y fuera .
Para la playa llevar escarpines porque imposible meterte en el agua sin ellos…
La sala de spa estaba la mitad rota, por lo que cobraban la mitad 3€.
El jacuzzi de la piscina roto también solo funcionaban 2 chorros…

En la fachada del hotel se ven muchísimas grietas ….

Y aunque el hotel tenga disponibilidad de habitaciones mirando al mar te ponen mirando la calle de atrás para que pagues a 3,75€ por ocupante y día en la habitación si quieres con vistas al mar…

No merece la pena la habitación con vistas al mar

Lo primero decir que el hotel está genial, zona tranquila (si sales a pasear por la zona no hay nada salvo playa playa y playa). El restaurante bastante bien, aunque estaba siempre a rebosar, siempre había comida.
La habitación grande y espaciosa, y las camas enormes.
Yo no supe quitar el aire acondicionado de la habitación y por la noche pasamos frio la primera noche y la segunda con manta (Podría haber preguntado en la recepción). Puedes abrir la ventana y deja de funcionar el aire, pero entonces no duermes por las voces de la gente.

Nosotros cogimos habitación con vista al mar, y si bien es cierto que se veía al mar, nos dieron una habitación en la primera planta con vistas laterales al mar. No encuentro la razón de pagar un poco mas por la habitación. Se ve un poco de azul, pero nada mas. No merece la pena.

La comida del hotel es muy mala, te dan ganas de irte a un restaurante a comer fuera aun habiendo pagado el buffet.

Lo único que se puede salvar es el desayuno, pero aun así tiene pocas opciones. Los camareros del bar tienen muy pocas ganas de trabajar. La piscina se cae a cachos. Si puedes elegir, mejor no vayas a este hotel con opción de comidas.

No es un hotel de 5 estrellas, está viejo y necesita una actualización. La limpieza mejorable (había una bolsa de gusanitos en la habitación al llegar)
