The apartment was nice, clean, and check in was easy. The breakfast was good and near to town. My only one minor complaint was there was not any wifi in the apartment. I only stayed for one night, but this would have been a problem if the stay had been longer. Overall would recommend this hotel.

Before we travelled we requested ground floor apts with walk in showers to to elderly couple and also reduced mobility with remainder of party. This was accepted as previous trips. When we arrived we were only allocated one of these rooms and when asked to speak with hotel manager, they refused to speak with me. We have never benn so poorly treated by this hotel.

We stayed in an accessible apartment. It involved a long ramp to reception, a loft and some slopy paths and another ramp, so it was accessible but a little long winded to get to our ground floor apartment. It had everything we needed for a few nights stay. Two huge comfortable beds and a wheel in shower. Table and chairs etc and a lovely large balcony overlooking the pool. No kettle or toaster, but a microwave and hob allowed for tea making. Only small cups available for hot drinks, so I bought a mug. I would stay again. The receptionist was lovely as were all the staff.

Overall, a fantastic stay for a great price. The location is spot on for walking to the local restaurants. Everything is available on site including a launderette and a fantastic new gym. My only negative is there is very little sound proofing in the rooms so you hear everything going on in all of the neighbouring apartments. I would stay again but take ear plugs!!

Great find , we loved it here the apartment was clean and spacious , kitchen was a little under equipped , but was a great base. Pool areas were very well maintained clean and spacious lots of beds available and grounds are really quite beautiful. Food was basic but sufficient for our needs , bars were well serviced and had a lovely friendly vibe . For the price it was really outstanding we will definitely be back .

Really lovely hotel in a great location, but it's not the location on hotels.com site , it's about a mile along, in a better location. Lovely apartment, pool, gym and the buffet breakfast is great . I would highly recommend this hotel and we will stay there again

Really enjoyed ed our stay at hotel, good fun, good location, only had breakfast but was really good with a good choice. Only downfall was the car park was quite a walk, our room was huge, we had 2 single beds which a were a bit on the small size and would have preferred a double, the amenities were good, enjoyed the water aerobics, pizza restaurant and bowling

Nice Aparthotel. Food was good but there were streams of different student groups every day. There were numerous and noisy parties next door. We told the reception that we were two older couple (72 & 64yrs old) carrying heavy suitcases but they put us on the top floor when we had asked for a downstairs apartment

The hotel is in a great location, the pool and grounds are lovely. We had an apartment at the back so very quiet, however to be around the square would have been noisy due to shows. We went self catering and were a bit disappointed with the facilities, no kettle, limited cooking pots and pans. No vino glasses. But we weren't there on holiday, if we were then we would have eaten out at the array of great bars and restaurants outside the hotel. Woukd definitely recommend and stay again.

Fabulous Pirate themed water park
Stayed in a 2 bedroomed appointment for one night which was massive! 4 double beds! Grandchildren loved the pirate themed water park! A huge complex! Had to climb 4 flights of stairs with luggage and buggy as lift broken. Good choice and quality for breakfast.

We loved the hotel and amenities. It was brilliant for kids and they absolutely loved the pirate pool. Our only complaint was that it was very cold at night and there were no heaters in the rooms so we had to have lots of blankets but we couldn’t warm up somehow.
In terms of communication, not many of the staff could speak English at all so we struggled through but missed some vital information because of this and had lots of misunderstandings. We are trying to learn Spanish and definitely do not expect everyone to have to learn English. It’s all part of going away and experiencing new cultures for us.

Check-in time misleading, on the hotels.com site it says 5 am when it should read 5 pm. Otherwise all excellent. Staff good food above average, accomodation very comfortable. Location perfect. Only down side for those that don't speak any Spanish...all entertainment is in Spanish!!!

Overcrowded, Over priced, Underwhelming!
This could be a fantastic place as it has charm and good facilities. In reality (and I don't know if this is because of COVID) it was very poor. There was a massive shortage of staff, meaning long queues for everything. The dining room was disorganised chaos with no social distancing. Other places I have stayed since COVID have had much better controls and organisation. The food quality both for breakfast and dinner was poor. There was a good selection but no care had gone into its preparation or presentation... If you go here to self cater, make sure you pack lots of supplies. There is a very limited selection of cooking materials in the kitchen. No cloths, dish soap or cleaning materials are provided. There is no kettle or coffee maker in the kitchen either. Apparently these have been removed because of COVID but its ok to touch utensils that hundreds of others have in the dinning room. One last important thing to note.... Air Conditioning. All apartments have AC, this is true. The AC was located in the Lounge/Living area of the apartment not in the bedrooms. This meant the bedrooms were hot and stuffy. When we asked reception for a fan they told us to leave the AC on all day whilst we were out, with all the internal doors open. What a huge waste of energy!! In general, this stay was a huge waste of my energy and not one I would care to repeat. Definitely not to be recommended.

The hotel did everything they could to get us a room as soon as one came availabLê. The actual complex itself was really nice with beautiful walkways, views and a great pool area/ leisure facilities etc. The rooms were a little tired though, although there was evidence that the kitchens and bathrooms had been recently upgraded. The worst was the dining experience which was like cattle mart - noisy, chaotic and poor quality. After my first dinner there I spent the night vomiting, likely due to buffet food sitting too long under warm heat lamps. This soured my view of the place. Mojácar is a lively place though with great quality, affordable eating options nearby if you didn’t want to avail of the ‘half board’ or ‘all inclusive’ experience

Easy quick check in from very polite staff. Requested and got ground floor room. Make service every day. Requested change from evening meal to lunch with no issues. Great grounds and look areas. Mojacar is a very relaxing resort with great restaurants. We will go again.

Stayed a week in a self catering apartment which was lovely and clean - maid visited most days we were there and emptied bins and towels and bedding changed a couple of times while we were there. Great shower. Didn't use the air con as early season but might need heating if staying over winter months. Would be hard to do \"full\" self catering though as facilities limited - 2 ring hob & combi microwave. Only cutlery was table cutlery, a ladle and a draining spoon - no sharp knife, chopping board etc but we managed! Gardens and pool areas are beautiful and kept spotlessly clean but can imagine them being very busy in high season. There is a daily entertainment programme for children and adults but again didn't use so can't comment. Evening entertainment is in main square so rooms around that will be noisy I imagine! Hotel is right opposite the beach with life guard on duty in high season. Close to restaurants & bars and bus stop is right outside. Small, well stocked shop on site that baked bread each morning. Parking is 12E per day in hotel garage but we managed to park locally with it being early season. Will definitely return but maybe not in high season

First impressions were good - outside of the hotel and gardens are immaculate. We stayed in one of the apartments, 2 adults and 2 children - we stated this when booking and the apartment was suggested - it wasn't big enough. Beds and sofa bed uncomfortable, small kitchen area, room didn't look like it had been cleaned properly before we arrived. Top swimming pool was nice, quieter than the main bigger pool. Plenty for the kids to do - pool table, table tennis and other games. Expected more for the money we paid - although we did go at peak time. I'd sum it up as average, not the worst hotel we've stayed in, not the best.

The hotel is basic but adequate and in need of some TLC so do not expect any frills, that said it was certainly value for money. The room smelt of smoke and included an ash tray, a previous guest had been smoking and we noticed people smoking in other rooms, the smell went after all the windows had been open for a while.

Stayed for 1 week in a 1 bedroom apartment, kitchen is small but can be used to cook, you have to rent a kettle & toaster, apartment cleaned every day we was there, there is a safe again which you can rent, the pool is a really good size and is perfect for the little ones as the large pool is a gradual walk in but it is very cold ...... entertainment is on all day and night with a good variety mainly spoken in Spanish but we didn't mind that

Love Mojacar, but not this hotel
The prices for this hotel are very reasonable but everything is geared towards the Spanish visitor. The food was acceptable but we had every breakfast and most dinners from the grill in order to get a hot meal. The room, Lago 11, was spacious but we were woken up each morning at 4.00a.m. by the bins being emptied and there was a problem with mosquitos in the bed which resulted in visits on 3 successive days to the local hospital for urgent treatment, antibiotics and injections. Not much help or sympathy from the reception staff, they could not even direct us to the hospital. We love Mojacar but will not return to this hotel.

The good, the bad, and the painful
Our stay was for two nights. Our apartment was at the top of umpteen flights of steps. Exhausting! (I'd made the establishment aware that my companion was \"challenged\" with regard to walking, and could manage only very few steps). Breakfast was chaotic, and we were astonished to encounter the foulest \"coffee\" imaginable. Dinner, on the other hand was an enjoyable experience. The selection was wide, with something for most tastes. Quality was satisfactory. Staff were efficient and pleasant. We wouldn't use the hotel again, on the basis of the endless flights of steps, and the off-putting breakfast experience. I suppose the Pueblo Indalo \"does what it says on the can\"

More than expected
On arrival we were met quickly end coretously by the staff. Very helpful and tolerant to several questions. They even pointed out that our room was beside a free parking area so we did not need to use the 8-Euro garage. The rooms were better than expected and the \"hotel\" is more like a holiday village. It includes shopping facilities in the hotel complex. Most of all we both loved the food. Although it was self-service, breakfast could range from a scandinavian style ham/cheese/bread and cerials, through to sausage/egg/baccon/beans/hash browns. Evening meal was also a nice experience. My only negative comment of this hotel is the difficulty getting a table in the dining room and the \"you are bothering me\" attitude of the dining room personnel. I would dearly love to return to this hotel for a longer vacational stay when we can make use of all the facilities.

Nuestra experiencia en general ha ido bién pero al ponernos en el edificio buganvilla que está al final de todo, con niños pequeños hay que caminar mucho y se cansan. La habitación no estaba del todo limpia pero bueno estaba bastante bién y amplia. El bufet prácticamente hay siempre lo mismo para comer y cansa un poco y para los niños no hay nada diferente. Podría haber algún tipo más de cereales para ellos. Lo que más nos ha gustado son las piscinas, el mono club y la amabilidad de los empleados.

Der Club liegt direkt an einem kleinen Sand/Kieselstrand. Wir hatten ein Appartement in Erdgeschoss. Recht großzügig, aber sehr schlicht und spartanisch eingerichtet. Insgesamt sauber. Die Einrichtung ist aber schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bett war sehr klein und ziemlich hart. Wir hatten das Halbpensionspaket. Frühstücksbuffet mit großer Auswahl, aber sehr mäßiger Qualität der Speisen. Abendessen in Buffetform mit ebenfalls großer Auswahl in mäßiger Qualität. Fazit: ein in die Jahre gekommener Club, der für uns für eine Übernachtung völlig in Ordnung war. Und sieht man den günstigen Preis, war es wirklich gut.

Nosotros particularmente estuvimos 45 minutos para el check in porque la chica era nueva... Tuvimos paciencia pero creo que debería alguien con ella para enseñarle... animación prácticamente inexistente, solo el día de deporte vi algo. El apartamento era insoportable el olor a humedad, tanto que tuve que comprar un ambientador y tener todo el día la ventana abierta para poder dormir algo.
La comida bastante decepcionada por calidad. Estuvimos un par de días y habían muchas quejas entre los clientes... Espero que esté comentario sirva para mejorar

En líneas generales bastante buena, pero el apartamento que nos asignaron, estaba en el último edificio, buganvilla, para ir con peques muy retirado de la entrada del hotel…., el apartamento muy amplio y cómodo, los servicios y el hotel como tal, Excelente

Jag tyckte inte att det var något nöje att sitta balkongen fast det var väldigt vacker utsikt.

La estancia a nivel de habitacion bien pero estabamos en un apartamento planta tercera con escaleras incomodisimas. El apartamento bien por dentro, no hay habitacion matrimonio, el sofa cama pues eso porque esta el chiquillo de once años pero para adulto no. Limpieza correcta sin problemas. Aire acondicionado no habia forma de bajarlo de 18 grados demasiado fuerte. Bufet muy bueno pero muy concurrido...la zona muy bien, playa cerca y limpia, espectacular la zona en general.

No es necesario coger la opción de parking porque en los alrededores o por detrás de pueblo indalo hay sitio para aparcar el coche. En cuanto a la comida es tipo buffet y bueno, no es nada del otro mundo. El complejo está muy bien pero tiene muchas escaleras y rampas, muchos desniveles, depende de dónde tengas el apartamento tendrás que sudar mas o menos.
