Very bad communication.
Ordered us a driver from airport after we had scheduled one through link from their email. They were upset about.
Took them forever to get back to me when I emailed.
Booked a massage at their spa. They told me a menu with prices would be available at time of service. Did not get and as we were already there they said service was $250. There were thermal pools that were cold. Shower cold. Sauna not working. No robes. Massage was on table with towels no sheets. After the fact said they only took cash. The front desk girll at night was trying to be helpful and the maid service was nice. The breakfast buffet was great. I hired a tour guide through them who showed up sick and seemed had never done it before. Mostly my complaint was with the spa and the condition of it. I would not reccomend this place, Get all information upfront IF YOU CAN REACH THEM!!

Overall this hotel is EXCELLENT. The staff, every single one we encountered was very friendly, accommodating and willing to help.
The rooms are VERY clean and spacious.
The breakfast buffet includes a good variety of options.
The property is off the main road by the marina where you go for day cruises. You definitely need a vehicle.
That said, if you are good with a quiet area and car to explore during the day, i recommend this hotel.

Nice property. Not super fancy but on the boating dock which is super convenient for private cruises and catamaran activities. Bus stop close to the property and walkable distance if taxi’s are too expensive. There are also 2-3 restaurants next to the property with a mini market for souvenirs and toiletries. The hotel restaurant was tasty. All staff were super friendly. I would recommend but it all depends on your accommodation style and preference. If you want to be in walkable distance from major tourist villages like fira and oia I would not recommend.

Such a gorgeous hotel with staff that were very friendly. Spa was amazing too. The views from the bedroom were so beautiful, the sunset was right in front of the hotel!

There are a lot of steps in the hotel which wasnt a problem for me, but need to be careful.

The hotel is in a very quiet area so you either have to taxi or drive out for restaurants. There is Suzie's restaurant around the corner which was fabulous.

Overall, an amazing stay at an amazing location, made very relaxing by the very lovely staff.

The hotel's staff was very attentive prior to arriving. Panos would always address emails I had in a timely manner.
He was great along with the restaurant staff and spa therapists Nikkoletta.

We really enjoyed the hotel's friendly staff and the comradery with other hotel guest. It was secluded from high traffic areas in Fira and Qia. It's in a fisherman's bay, which tour buses would bring tourists for day outings but it didn’t impact our privacy. The beach was walking distance along with a local market. Would return. Only negative, wifi in hotel room. Sat outdoor on balcony for wifi access. The tv wasn't working but wasn’t watching anyway. We enjoyed the warm sea breeze at night. Would stay there again.

The Hotel was beautiful, gorgeous location but the lighting around the rooms at night was poor ..it should be well lit for patrons to see where they are walking.
Staff was very accommodating and helpful .
Overall we weren’t there long enough to really give a rating but our overall experience was good.

It’s simplistic and clean.Pool area small than pictures.Isolated as far too south to easily get around.Hotel did not offer any real transport options to visit tourist areas,used Uber expensive and bus.Bus supposed to arrive at certain times usually 45 mins late only three pick ups a day.
Hotel could be more opportunistic and organise a shuttle .Staff and breakfast hit and miss

We enjoyed our stay at Notos therme and spa , everyone was super nice and friendly specially the night reception guy( sorry I forgot his name ) he was so patient and helpful. We enjoyed the food at Salty bone and the ambiance was good too. Our server was from Pakistan and he was super nice and informative. Notos has beautiful spa as well. Our over all experience at Notos was great except for the house keeping situation. I believe it needs a little attention from the management.

This is a great hotel away from the tourist crowds. We loved the view from our room of the fishing boats. Great breakfast! The staff went out of their way to make sure we knew where our tour bus was picking us up. They were all so friendly and helpful!

First , the hotel was nice enough .great location .. We arrived early , was not allowed to check in even though we called ahead.. we were told we had to wait until the other customers checked out .. we waited and only one couple checked out . So we went back to see if we could check in but was given more reasons why we could not .. we waited for over 4 hours in the heat to check in and only then was I able to check in ..the others were not able until after 3.. then their rooms were wrong and was told nothing could be done … before arriving we were harassed about paying ahead of time , even though once we booked , we were told that we could pay at hotel ..but they took off card ahead of time and still denied us an early check in …then when asked for receipt , we were told that they had no receipt for us … I will dispute the charges if they are not initially what I booked for …the manager Yans was not managerial material , very hostile and rude … the restaurant and staff was fantastic , very hospitable and sincere , but I will never visit that hotel again , but again the location is beautiful

Make It Better!!

The location was good the atmosphere was good, the service itself was shotty and it could be related to the pandemic, I think their website should have been updated if the changes, I’d planned to visit originally in 2020 them the pandemic hit so it was canceled but the website was never updated of the changes, there was NO room service, NO on-site RESTURANT, it was a bust, the spa had 1 worker who hadn’t been off since early April and of course the 1 day I’d planned she was off ( my birthday) ended up booking another location which was Awesome! But not as convenient….VERY DISAPPOINTED, there were issues with the rooms that were never taken care off and they were major no attempt to accommodate the bad service, major language barrier, but we met some awesome people ( other guest)

abbiamo prenotato una suite con piscina e la stanza era molto bella perchè aveva sia la vista mare che la piscina privata, si vede che le stanze non sono nuovissime.Le pulizie sono fatte ogni due giorni ma non viene specificato. Il personale è sempre stato molto gentile ma non ti dava molte informazioni sul posto e sul hotel. Non è possibile mangiare in struttura. C'è una porticina che porta nella parte alta dove ci sono dei ristoranti ma l'abbiamo scoperto per caso. La spa non viene sponsorizzata ed è a pagamento ma chiedendo delle informazioni ci hanno detto reindirizzato allo spa manager presente solo la mattina. La struttura è molto bella e ha tanti posti per vedere il tramonto ma ha anche molte scale. Vylchada ci è piacuta molto perchè tranquilla , ovviamente per la vita nottura non è il massimo ma per un soggiorno tranquillo è super consigliata oppure prendendo la macchina ci si può spostare ovunque. l'hotel ti da la possibilità di affitare la macchina portandola direttamente in struttura.

Lovely Island Stay

This is lovely hotel situated on the south side of island in a village called Vlychada. Village is pretty much isolated from the other towns, so it is advisable to have rent-a-car or rent-a-quad. Hotel offers bed and breakfast with a la carte lunch and dinner. Options of breakfast were reduced because of COVID-19, so no buffet offered, it was rather served to the table. Lunch and dinner provided in the main restaurant (normal prices ranges) and we could take it to the room. We had a lovely room with plunge swimming pool (hydromassage in the swimming pool), spacious room with balcony overlooking westward where we observed sunset every day. Plunge pool was ideal to breakthrough going to the beach. Nearby Vlychada Beach is not hotel operated service and have sunumbrellas / sunbeds for little fee.
Hotel deserves some renovations, particularly bathrooms in order to be awarded 5 star, otherwise stay was perfect.

The hotel is nice, the view is impressive the staff nice and helpful, was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, and the location not much to do around there. The beach is small and black sand but good to walk over. After we rent a car and we went to the other side of the island we got in love with Santorini. The next time we want to go to Oías where the view is stunning and a lot of restaurants and shopping.

Our stay at Notos was wonderful from beginning to end! Our crazy itinerary had us arrive at 5 a.m., but we were greeted with a warm and friendly face and were offered choices until our room was ready. Each and every staff member was friendly, accommodating and went out of their way to make our vacation everything that we wanted it to be. Scheduling sailing or advising us on restaurants, they were a pleasure to be around. The food was delicious, the rooms were lovely and all the amenities provided allowed us to tour most of the day, but always spend time relaxing at one of the pools. spa, beach, or walking around the marina. The location, for us, was great because Oia and Fira are very crowded. Vychlada is peaceful even though it is on the marina (convenient for those who enjoy the catamaran excursions - which was amazing)! The resort is up on the cliff, so you can enjoy watching the boats, fisherman and people. The food and bar are great, all with wonderful sunset views. We cannot thank the staff enough for making our vacation really special! I hope that we have an opportunity to return!

Please do not stay at this hotel!
The staff are rude, caught smoking in the kitchen, don’t bother with you, and generally not interested in you as a customer.

No local restaurants or bars so would need a car.

Our room was disgusting, holes in the bed sheets, towels were rock hard and yellow stained, dead flys inside the bed and hair from previous customer.

The hotel is decent, but needs updating. First room was moldy, clammy. Upgraded to a room with a pool, but the a/c didn't work and it didn't have a ceiling fan. The a/c just screeched at full blast all night, but never cooled down. The room views were lovely though. Breakfast was good, but the coffee cups could do with scrubbing or buy new ones. The staff was pleasant and helpful so that was good. Overall, a nice hotel that could do with some updates.

Notos was an excellent hotel. The spa was the best , The room and view was exceptional,
My next stay on Santorini will definitely be at Notos. The hotel is away from all the noise of the main cities yet the main cities are minutes away by car. The view of the sunset from our balcony was fabulous.
Breakfast was always fresh and the servers were so friendly and nice.
I rented a car for the 10 days I was on the island and it was a great idea. We did everything from scuba, sunset cruise, to enjoying the night life in Oia and Fira and visiting all the archeological sites.
This was the best vacation I have ever had, and the Notos hotel and wonderful staff was a huge part of my time on Santorini.

Perfect for a romantic getaway

I went to Notos with my boyfriend in October (low season) and we got lucky - they upgraded us to the suite. However, the first room we had was lovely too. The staff was really friendly, they gave us a lot of useful information. Food was amazing. The area is nice and quiet but not far away from the other cities.

Was a beautiful hotel in a quiet location, about 20 minutes from Thira. Hotel staff are very friendly and always there to help you. I was disappointed as i paid a lot of money for the Notos Suite and the jacuzzi on my balcony wasn't working and that was an essential for my honeymoon. Anyhow there is nothing they could of done as they were waiting on a part for it but staff were very helpful and opened the Spa up for us one night to use jacuzzi in there. Apart from that overall stay was very good

Perfectly located away from the crowds

Notos Thermes and Spa was simply perfect for me and my husband to spend a week in beautiful Santorini. We were greeted with a welcome drink and an overview of the highlights of the island.
Our room was clean, beautifully decorated with a lovely outdoor seating area over looking the pool, Marina and Aegean Sea.
Breakfast had a small selection of pretty much everything you could think of and was delicious.
Best of all was the staff. They were fantastic, so helpful and knowledgeable, nothing was ever too much

Overall enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was buffet style and very good. The staff were really friendly and knowledgable about the local sites. I had a great time and would definitely return. It is a good location for singles as well as couples. The view was amazing. Good restaurants nearby with excellent fresh fish dishes. The beach was only a 5 minute walk away. My only criticism is that the room was not quite what they protrayed on the internet. I booked the junior suite with seaview which could sleep 3 but the room they gave could only sleep 2.

This is a wonderful hotel right by Vlychada marina.
From being collected at the airport through to checking out, my experience at this hotel was perfect. My room was stunning, and massive. There was a very comfortable large bed, two sofas, two rocking chairs and an exercise machine. The bathroom had both a full shower and a large bath with sea views. The balcony was great, with perfect views of the marina, the beach and the sunset.
The pool area was very good, with plenty of sun loungers and good drinks service. The pool itself was very refreshing.
Next to the pool area, there was a spa. consisting of various treatment rooms and some jacuzzi pools. Entry to the spa was free. I booked a massage, which was excellent. The hotel were able to accommodate my request despite the very late notice.
The restaurant was very good, with views over he harbour. The food, both for breakfast and in the evening, was of a very high standard.
All of the staff in this hotel were friendly and attentive, and made me feel very welcome.
Vlychada is a small harbour area, with just a couple of restaurants and one small shop. There is also a beach.

I was looking forward to staying at Notos, the information on Expedia seemed good. On arrival the hotel looked OK but not what I was expecting, the dining area and pool area were as pictured online and things looked up, BUT, when we were shown to our room, disappointment was not the word, this is supposed to be a luxury hotel and we were shown to a room that had filthy floors (foot prints all over) dirty linen, dirty and stained shower, rusty fittings, the mini bar had leaked all over the floor and this was not picked up by the staff even though the room had been supposedly cleaned... a far cry from the luxury this hotel boasts. We did complain about the state of the room and we were upgraded to a better room, but this could not be done until a few days later. The second room we stayed in was better and more like the images on the hotels website, but again it was and is not luxury; the room was no different to a Premier Inn room here and the original room we had was far worse then any 2 star hotels in the UK. The hotels only good points are nice breakfast selection, nice pool and lovely views.

Not too happy. We missed our flight and arrived a day and a half late to find out that our room was no longer available even though we paid in advance for 4 nights. We were then told that we were reserved special accommodations, but it was not very special. Although the new accommodations were nice it was a 180 from what we originally booked, i.e. Beach Side access for our children, jacuzzi tub, and massage service for my pregnant wife. The island was awesome and we eventually found another place called hotel Iliada, which was perfect for a family of four.

My best hideaway

Already 2nd visit and loving it at Notos! The combination of relaxed marina location, simple but comfy rooms, fab sunset, lovely spa area, great pools and even sauna make Notos the perfect hideaway on Santorini. Great personnel -and everything else that I need... for example the best Greek cuisine at near-by Sparaki taverna and a quiet beach for swimming at sea close by- all at walking distance.

Nice Hotel but Not Great

The location of this hotel is the biggest downfall, it no where near any town but right next the marina. It takes 15-20 minutes to get to Fira. The hotel is great in customer service, they welcome you warmly & give you a person tour of the facility. The spa is nice but the quality of service was just "okay." I booked a couples spa package & they didn't perform the services listed on the description. The full body message was more of a foot message. They also recommend you not bring outside food or drink because they claim they can service all your needs but in such a plentiful wine region they have a VERY limited wine list.

This hotel was a let-down, from upkeep to location... we stayed at another SLH hotel during our trip, which was wonderful, but this one is not up to par. Rooms were poorly maintained and lacked basic amenities such as a soap dish or shower curtain to give a few examples. Our sea view room, which we paid extra for, overlooked a restaurant parking lot. The service staff on the other hand, was wonderful - too bad the property did not meet standard.

We booked this hotel because it was located at the Marina where our boat was docked. All of our special requests were ignored. This is a very basic accomodation and I would not recommend it as a resort stay. Also, not thrilled with the mediocre spa. Not close to anything and 20-30 minute wait for taxi. No bellman service and long flight of stairs to reception with no assistance. Not very inviting

L’hôtel est bien situé devant un petit port et une plage. Belle vue de la chambre . À l’écart des villes et commerces, il faut un véhicule , situation très calme . L’hôtel est vieillot, pas très bien entretenu (lunette des wc instable, revissée chaque jour et jamais réparée) pas d’armoire juste quelques cintres et 2 tiroirs , pas de cafetière.

Très bel hôtel, il faut juste savoir que les chambres (notre chambre) était troglodyte, dans la roche donc pas de fenêtre sauf à l entrée. Je me permets de le préciser car sur les photos cela ne paraît pas.
L'hôtel est très agréable et calme. La 1/2 pension est ai dîner et est imposé ( possibilité de discuter avec le personnel pour adapter en fonction de nos besoins/envies (vegan, végétarien, allergies etc)

There are better options in Santorini

I don't recommend the hotel. With the exception of the two boys restaurant staff who were really nice, the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Breakfast is ok, nothing special but it’s good. The facilities needs renovation. The shower had problems between hot and cold water, and is old, I asked to change rooms and was informed that there was no availability for the same category. The pillow is too high and there was no other pillow option. The very old A/C didn't work in my friends' room and in my room it dripped water. The location is ok if you have ATV or a car, it’s 30 min away from Thera and 45 from Oia. The hotel is not the worst, they got an amazing view to the sea, Vlichada beach is just in front of the hotel and there are plenty of common areas with sofas. The swimming pool is also good. I think a good renovation and modernisation would help :). But there are better hotels in Santorini and won't be returning to this one. Anyway, I expected to have a slightly better sense of well-being in the hotel towards its guests and actually what happened was nothing like that.

Gentillesse, disponibilité, emplacement, facilités, authenticité
Mais pas du tout luxe : service lent et/ou inexistant, aménagement complètement vétuste, linge usé, une partie de l hôtel est hors d usage, pas de spa, service de restauration restreint et breakfast bon et simple mais, à part la vue et la situation de monopole, rien n est dans les critères de « luxe »

Nous avons passé 4j à cet hôtel. Le personnel est adorable et serviable. L’hôtel est mignon mais nous avons noté un léger manque d’entretien. Peut-être est-il en cours de rénovation sur certaines parties. La literie nous a posé problème car le lit était très moue (mauvaise literie).
Les consommation sur place sont à des prix très corrects et les massages du spa sont très bien.
La piscine est agréable

L’hotel en general était bien. J’ai bien apprécié le service et le personnel souriant. La piscine était sympa et la plage est pas loin. En revanche, le petit déjeuner etait le meme tout les jours et les jus frais etaient en extra. Aussi, l'état des sunbed laissait a desirer. Aussi, il est pas bien desservi niveau bus (un bus tous les 4h).

Wspaniałe utrzymany hotel przy niewielkiej marinie. Czysto ,bardzo pomocny personel i smaczne śniadania .Położenie hotelu jest dobre dla osób które cenią spokój i ciszę.Hotel oddalony od miasteczek.

Very bad accomodation and nothing like the pictures they show online. No facilities, the restaurant, bar and Spa were closed during our stay, not because of corona but due to poor management. No wifi at all and airconditioning was broken and could not be fixed. Dont book!

Schade für ein eigentlich schönes Hotel

Das Hotel war bis vor kurzem geschlossen und hat auch nicht pünktlich geöffnet. Der Service lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Das Frühstück wurde von Tag zu Tag weniger , nur abgepacktes Brot / Plastikbesteck und eine Auswahl zwischen 2-3 Lebensmitteln. Kein Käse ect. Völlig überfordertes Personal. Eigentlich eine sehr schöne Anlage, wenn die richtiges Leute handanlegen

Deuxième séjour à notos Super personnel d’une exceptionnelle gentillesse magnifique vue sur le port des pêcheurs bonne restauration beaucoup de calme et de repos bois revenons en avril dommage que l’hôtel n’ouvre qu’en mai 😰

Uitstekende ligging en accomodatie. Jammer dat de wellness niet open was (wegens corona)
De roomservice werd, zelfs na uitdrukkelijk verzoek, wel eens vergeten. Er werd niet grondig gekuist. Toch mooie en lieve attentie van het poetspersoneel. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam onthaal.

Excellent emplacement, très belle vue sur la mer de partout dans l'hôtel y compris de la chambre.
Petit Déjeuner très copieux
96 marches à gravir pour arriver à la chambre avec des escaliers au carrelage très glissant dangereux ..... mais belle chambre avec vue sur mer et belle terrasse .
ATTENTION Hôtel inadapté aux enfants et personnes âgées.
Literie matelas très usager avec des draps et un couvre-lit trop petits.
Piscine MINUSCULE pour un tel établissement, pendant notre séjour seulement 2 familles et au total 3 enfants ont littéralement privatisé cette minuscule piscine avec matelas et jeux gonflables !!!
Accueil et personnel très souriant et accueillant mais ne parlant que l'anglais.
Voiture indispensable car pas grand-chose autour

Die location ist genial, der kleinen Hafen super busy , das Meer und der Strand ein Traum, da sehr ruhig , das Hotel muss definitiv ein paar Dinge verbessern, aber hat super potential , das Essen war sehr gut, und das Personal bemüht
