We liked the location, part of the old city. Parking was nearby but gravel path was difficult for suitcases, better to bring small suitcases. Check in and check out was easy, staff are very friendly. Wished for a kettle or coffee machine and /or fridge in the room. Room was hot but staff brought us an extra fan to help. Staff spoke English and were helpful. Wifi disconnected often, had to reconnect. Tub/shower was a big step to get in, not recommended for seniors. We enjoyed the ambiance and architecture in the area. Thank you for a great stay!

An overnight stop on way home. What a delightful location. Old buildings were beautiful and next to good nature walks around the lake. Staff are pleasant and very accommodating. Worth a visit if the area suits your needs. Close to Aachen and Köln.

This is a beautiful property in a charming little walled city. Our room was newly remodeled and very nice. The restaurant was good. We really loved walking around the grounds and the city.

In an area where there are few hotels, it is a touristic area with a nice village and castle. Apparently there was a werewolf in the 15c. The hotel is historic (stables for the castle maybe) and i stayed in the tower. the rooms are basic but clean and very quiet. It is a good base if you are coming from Benelux going to the Rhine as it is close to the main route.

Leider war unser Zimmer das wir bekommen haben nicht gereinigt, nach der Reklamation gab man uns zwei höherwertige Zimmer zur Ansicht, von denen eines leider auch nicht gereinigt war. Die Hotelausstattung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was ja eigentlich kein Problem darstellt, doch Flecken auf Sofas oder Stühlen müssen meiner Meinung nach trotzdem nicht sein. Für den ausgerufenen Betrag hatte ich schon deutlich bessere Unterkünfte.

Wunderbar renoviertes altes Gebäude, Zimmer neu renoviert, Lage direkt in der Altstadt von Kaster, absolut ruhig mit schönen Garten. Ein großer Park kann zum joggen oder spazieren genutzt werden, das Restaurant hat eine gute Küche, ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Ein schöner alter Hof ausgebaut zu einem tollen Hotel. Sehr schick, obwohl die Zimmer etwas antiquiert wirken. Aber das Ambiente ist klasse. Die Stadt Alt-Kaster ist absolut sehenswert.
Das einzige was nicht stimmt: es werden Bilder mit einem Pool gezeigt, das Hotel hat keinen Pool.

Hotel und Restaurant sowie umliegende Gebäude im einem Top gepflegten Zustand. Erste Eindruck vom Parkplatz auf dem Weg zu Hotel romantisch in einem Park gelegen.

Die Weinempfehlung des Service Personals sollte man unbedingt verfolgen, sie versuchen nicht einen teuren Wein zu verkaufen sondern empfehlen gute Weine aus der näheren Umgebung. Die Preise für edlere Weine sind eher sehr günstig und das Personal bemühte sich in jeder Hinsicht mit Erfolg einen zufrieden zu stellen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, im Stil etwas einfach gehalten im Vergleich zum gesamten Umfeld. Das Hotel war sehr leicht von der Autobahn zu finden. Das Frühstück kostete und € 6.00 pro Person und war extrem grosszügig, wohlschmeckend und von guter Qualität. Ich habe schon häufig den 5 fachen Preis gezahlt und nicht eine solche Qualität und Auswahl erhalten.
