Pleasant stay in spacious room

Good clean hotel in pleasant area of city. Spacious room on top floor located at side of hotel overlooking green space. It was decorated in a slightly older style. Service good. Took breakfast, which was an extensive buffet. Would recommend and be happy to stay there again.

Acceptable standard for a business trip

Overall, the hotel was of an acceptable standard and I would use it again when staying in the area. The rooms are on the borderline for a refurb although they were clean. The service for food in the bar area could be a little more attentive. The evening meal in the restaurant was good, as was the breakfast.

Leider war das Hotel-Restaurant nicht mehr in Betrieb und zum nächsten Lokal sind es 30. Minuten zu Fuss. Parkplätze sind sehr rar. Offenbar befindet sich das Hotel in der Übergabgsphase zu einem neuen Betreiber.

Was uns gefallen hat:
- Geräumiges Zimmer mit viel Ablage- und Stauraum
- Sehr bequemes Bett!
- Sehr gutes Frühstück mit guter wechselnder Obst- und Gemüseauswahl und vielen gesunden Optionen.
- Sehr freundliches und bemühtes Personal an der Rezeption und im Frühstücksraum!

Was wir schade fanden und anmerken möchten:
- Leider kam nur an einem von drei Tagen der Zimmerservice, und bei diesem einen Mal war der Service leider ziemlich unzureichend: Die benutzte Kaffeetasse stand danach immer noch da, Taschentücher und Seife waren nicht aufgefüllt, der Spiegel war immer noch verschmutzt.
- Der Mechanismus zum Öffnen und Schließen der Vorhänge war defekt.
- An der Decke neben der Leiste für die Vorhänge fehlte ein Stück Tapete.
- Bei Anreise waren leider noch Schlieren auf den Spiegeln.
- Die Duscharmatur ist falsch herum montiert, Duschen dadurch erschwert.
- Die Nespresso-Maschine war leider defekt.
- Die E-Ladesäulen waren am Abend der Ankunft alle belegt, zur Hälfte durch Verbrennerfahrzeuge. Ich habe in Erwartung dessen, dass genau das passieren könnte, extra am 19.12.25 im Hotel angerufen und angekündigt, dass ich in der Nacht vom 24. auf den 25.12. auf eine Lademöglichkeit angewiesen sein werde. Und ich habe gefragt, ob es sinnvoll und möglich wäre, eine entsprechende Reservierung an einer der Ladesäulen vorzunehmen. Die Antwort lautete: „Nein, nicht möglich, wird aber auch gar nicht nötig sein“. Tja, war nun leider doch so und somit ziemlich ärgerlich.

Das Zimmer war einmal ein Einzelzimmer..Das Bett wurde gedreht und ein zweites danebengestellt. Während des schlafes kam man dadurch immer an die Lichtschalter und die Steckdose.
Fernseher ging nur unzzreichend da der Antennenanschluß defekt war.
Die Duschtüren ließen sich schwer öffnen und das Wasser lief nicht normal ab. Die Mischbatterie kannte nur Heiss oder Kalt.
Am schlimmsten waren die nächtliche Störung am Flur. Dort wurde Nachts gestritten oder auch betrunken laut geschriehen.
Nach der zweiten Nacht klopfte um 7 Uhr morgens das \"Housekeeping\" mehrfach.

Die vorherigen beiden Übernachtungen eun Jahr zuvor waren Top.

Zimmer sind Sauber gewesen und das Frühstück sowie das dazugehörige Restaurant perfekt.

Sehe freundliches Personal das sich bemüht.

Leider war der letzte Aufenthalt enttäuschend.

Downgrade und schmuddelig

Wir seitens des Hotels in der Zimmerkazegorie downgegraded! (Executive auf Superrioer) Ein Endschuligungsversuch der leider völlig in die Hose gegangen ist: Das versprochene kostenlose Frühstück musste trotzdem bezahlt werden!
Das Zimmer und seine Ausstattung hatte die besten Tage schon hinter sich und war völlig schmuddelig. Es war zwar alles sauber, aber… Ein Wasserschaden an der Decke im Bad war provisorisch mit eine Kunststoffplatte per Tackerklammern abgedeckt worden.

Good old Elisenhof

Jeg har vanskelig ved at forstå hvordan Elisenhof kan have 4 stjerner.
Poolen er lukket, stedet er ikke bare gammelt men også gammeldags.
I stedet for at skifte en vindue som ikke længere kunne lukke, skruer man det fast. Stolene i rummet virker beskidte og udslidte. Når det er sagt, er prisen man betaler også betydelig under et 4 stjerners hotel, så pris - kvalitet stemmer godt overens

Wir hatten insgesamt 3 Zimmer gebucht, wobei es bei der Buchung (unser Fehler!) zu Abweichungen kam aber das Hotel hat alles in unserem Interesse gelöst und wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Zimmer: etwas altbacken aber das ist bekannt und Renovierungen stehen an. Ansonsten recht geräumig und alles da.
Restaurant: Begrenzte Auswahl aber ausreichend und sehr gute Qualität. Alle waren sehr zufrieden.
Frühstück: Alles da was man braucht und Preis-Leistung passt.
Ein großes Lob an die Dame, die den Frühstücksbetrieb gemanaged hat. Meiner Mutter wurde weiches Brot ohne Rinde gebracht, da sie Schwierigkeiten mit Brötchen und Graubrot hat. Aus eigenem Antrieb. Chapeau! Alleine dafür gibt es 5 Sterne für das Frühstück.
Sonstiges. Bei voller Ausbuchung kann es knapp werden mit Parkplätzen. Es gibt einen Behindertenparkplatz (sehr gut!) und einen Elektro-Parkplatz.
Alles in allem waren wir sehr positiv angetan und eine klare Empfehlung. Danke

Wie immer alles gut , außer mit einer Ausnahme. In der Nacht von Samstag auf Sonntag wurde im Haus über meinem Zimmer wohl eine Party gefeiert und anscheinend war niemand dafür zuständig das ganze zu beenden. Der Lärm war unerträglich und heute Morgen so ab 7:30 Uhr ging es wieder los. Leider war heute Morgen niemand an der Rezeption da um dies zu melden. Ich komme schon seit einigen Jahren hier her aber so etwas wie letzte Nacht habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Heute Morgen beim Frühstück war es auch an vielen Tischen Thema gewesen.

Im Frühstücksraum ist nicht genügend Personal um nach einer grossen Gesellschaft den Raum auch für die Hotelgäste in Ordnung zu bringen (Tische nicht abgeräumt und danach auch nicht sauber). Am ersten Tag hatten wir ein Zimmer bekommen wo sogar noch die Toiletten voll mit Fäkalien war und das ist kein Scherz.Dann bin ich runter und hab den Menschen von der Rezeption hochgebeten um sich das anzusehen und gefragt, ob das Zimmer überhaupt gereinigt wurde .Selbst am nächsten Tag haben wir der Dame an der Rezeption die Situation erzählt und es kam keinerlei Reaktion nur ein sturer Blick.Ziemlich schlecht und unprofessionelles verhalten.Und besonders freundlich ist da an der Rezeption leider keiner.Ausser die nette Dame beim Frühstück, dafür gilt auch unser zweiter Stern..

Der Lack ist ab…
… das ehemals angesehene und gut Situierte Hotel Elisenhof- ist nicht mehr! Ein von Missmanagement und weiter verkauf hat dem einst so berühmten und angesehen Haus sehr geschadet und ist eine beheizte Ruine!
Selbst das Angagement der noch ein bis zwei guten Seelen, welche sich sehr um die Aufrechterhaltung bemühen, können von dem desolaten Zustand nicht ablenken! Wer die Rezeption hinter sich gebracht hat, den erwartete eine Atmosphäre, wie es in einem Altenheim (leider) vorkommt! Es riecht nach alten Menschen - das gesamte Hotel ist in den mitte 90zigern stehen geblieben! Alles ist sehr abgenutzt und runter gewirtschaftet! Der Teppichboden stammt ebenfalls noch aus den ersten - glorreichen Zeiten! Das Frühstück, welches uns noch in Erinnerung war - ist mit dem jetztigen „Frühstück“ nicht annähernd zu vergleichen! Sehr schade auch, dass der Service mit einer handvoll Gästen auch überfordert schien … aber dies sind nur die armen Seelen, welche versuchen ihren job so gut wie es diese Umstände zulassen zu erledigen! (Es erfordert eine sehr grosse Anstrengung noch in der Formulierung höflich zu bleiben!) Gefühlt ist der Lack am / im und um den Elisenhof ab! Eine Schande, dass man so ein eigentlich schönes und ansehnliches Hotel so verfallen lässt! Keine Rauchmelder, keine Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer, WLan NUR für Android - da es technisch angeblich nicht machbar ist … katastrophal!!! Wer lachen möchte- steigt in die Duschwanne … und versucht zu duschen…

Wir haben dieses Hotel vom 03.10.2024-06.10.2024 wegen seiner 4 Sterne und den sehr gut abgebildeten und beschriebenen Zimmer gebucht. Das war weit gefehlt. Wir bekamen an der Rezeption unser Zimmer. Als wir es betraten waren wir geschockt. Es hatte nix mit dem zu tun was im Internet angeboten wird. Wir bekamen ein zwei Zimmer Appartement welches eigentlich für Familie gedacht wäre ( wenn es in Ordnung ist) . Das erste Zimmer mit Doppelbett hatte zwei große Balkontüren welche mit Metall-Bleche zugeschraubt waren,man könnte sie nicht öffnen. Das zweite Zimmer mit einem Bett war ein Durchgangszimmer. Von dort gelangte man ins Bad. in diesem Zimmer gab es zwar Lichtschalter aber nicht einer funktionierte. Das hieß also im Dunkeln zum Bad. Das Bad hatte ein Fenster mit Gardinen welche so schmutzig waren,Man traute sich gar nicht es anzufassen um zu öffnen. Es war einfach nur ekelhaft . An der Rezeption sagte man uns man könnte nix machen. Wir sollen eine Mail an die Rezeption schicken,sie leiten diese dann weiter. Am nächsten Morgen waren wir wieder bei der Rezeption und schilderten unser Anliegen. Darauf hin wurde uns gesagt das es unverständlich sei wie so wir dieses Zimmer bekommen haben,es ist eigentlich gesperrt wegen der Fenster. Die Mitarbeiterin hat sich dann bemüht uns ein anderes Zimmer zu geben. Wir waren froh aus den schmutzigen Zimmer zu kommen. Dieses Hotel ist auf keinem Fall 4 Sterne wert. Old glory

The hotel room is past glory, reviews is incorrect. There is no mini bar in the hotel. When we wanted to order water we had to pay 7euro for a bottle at restaurant prices.

The room is old, mainly due to old faded carpet. The room is huge and bathroom is old but has a real shower instead of bath and shower,

The breakfast is very complete. But a few years ago we also got fish and salmon.
Still very good, but not great or best anymore.

For me is to expensive for the price.

Das Hotel hat nach Aussage der Empfangsdame einen neuen Eigentümer. Das scheint Unsicherheiten zu verursachen. Da ich meinen Hut vergessen habe, wurde mir nach einem Telefonat mit dem Hotel schnell geholfen. Der Zustand des Hotels ist sehr gut.
