The hotel is really big. You don’t get a lot of explanation when checking in. (E.g. what to do with your key if you go out.) The elevator didn’t work, luckily I was on the second floor (for Americans; 3rd). Room was quite good in fact. Breakfast was nice but very German; so bread etc. with practically no warm items, no scrambled eggs or sausages or bacon. It’s a shame there were no cookies or croissant or so since they have a good coffee machine. All very hygienic and good refilling of all items. So definitely not a bad stay, good price.

Member of staff was lovely when we checked in, just what we needed after a long drive from Glasgow.

We were staying for one night to get the ferry from Harwich the next morning and the hotel was perfect for our needs. Great that breakfast was included as well especially with a wee one and a long day ahead

I speak no German but one of the receptionist's spoke excellent English. They have a small restaurant and the receptionist had made the menu in German and English.
The rooms are a little old fashioned but that added to the charm of the place. I would definetly stay again.

Personal muss besser geschult werden. Die Außrede beim Check-in ,, das ist oft das Problem von Expedia .\" ist für uns nicht plausibel. Zudem, wenn die Buchung nach ca. 15 min doch noch gefunden werden konnte(obwohl wir unsere Buchungnummer die ganze Zeit gezeigt und gesagt haben). So zu tun als ob keine Buchung existiert, um uns warten zu lassen ist nicht professionell (früherer Check-in wurde am Telefon genehmeigt mit Angabe von Name). An sonsten war das Zimmer sehr schön.

Leider war die Rezeption aufgrund Krankheit nicht besetzt, so dass in einem anderen Hotel, welches ca. 500m entfernt war, eingecheckt werden musst. Der Aufzug war außer Betrieb, war für uns aber nicht wichtig. Im Zimmer funktionierte die Hauptlampe nicht, im Bad war der Toilettendeckel auf einer Seite lose. Mit Ausnahme der benannten Mängel, machte das Zimmer sowie das gesamte Hotel einen guten und sauberen Eindruck. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls gut, es wurde auch schnell nachgelegt.

Das Zimmer war bei der Ankunft sauber. Es wurden in den 3 Tagen aber nur die Handtücher ersetzt und der Müll geleert. Die Ausstattung ist ok, nur war der Toilettendeckel locker sowie der Toilettenpapier-Halter. Wenn der Aufenthalt im Hotel nur zum schlafen genutzt wird, ist es wirklich okay.
Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, denke es ist für jeden was dabei.
Bei der Ankunft hatten wir auch einen Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage, nebenan befindet sich aber noch ein öffentlicher Parkplatz.
Für einen Kurztrip ist es absolut okay.

Bei der Ankunft, die ich vorab telefonisch verfrüht angekündigt habe und im Partnerhotel meinen Schlüssel bekommen haben, wurde ich erstmal von der Reinigungskraft angemeckert, dass noch kein Check-in ist.

Mein Zimmer war im 3,5. Stock – Aufzug über die vollen 10 Tage außer Betrieb.

Die Möbel im Zimmer hatten abgeplatzten Lack, die Matratze Flecken. Es gab keinen Schreibtisch. Im Bad wurden zwar immer die Handtücher gewechselt, aber die Flecken der Seife oder ein paar Haare sind im Waschbecken geblieben. Der Wasserhahn hatte praktisch keinen Wasserdruck und ich musste mir in der Dusche die Hände waschen.

Noch nie habe ich ein Hotel-Frühstück erlebt, das so wenig Auswahl bietet.

Leider trotz Internetaussage kein Aufzug! Der Aufzug ist seit über einem Jahr ausser Betrieb wie mir der Rezeptionist sagte, aber eine Reparatur kostet Geld und wurde daher bisher nicht durchgeführt. Gleichwohl wirbt das Hotel auf allen Plattformen mit einem Aufzug und wurde auch deshalb von mir ausgewählt (Zur Zeit bin ich leider gehbehindert).

Jochen und Aynur in M`gladbach

Ursprünglich haben wir tatsächlich in diesem Hotel eingecheckt. Der Aufzug war aber defekt, aus Krankheitsgründen kein Empfang IM Hotel. Man musste das \"Nachbarhotel\" für den Check in anrufen. Haben wir getan, dann kam ein Mitarbeiter des Nachbarhotels. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Nachdem wir den Fahrstuhldefekt bemängelt hatten, hat und der Mitarbeiter ein Zimmer im Nachbarhotel ohne Aufpreis angeboten. Dieses Angebot haben wir zum Glück genutzt, den es war wesentlich geräumiger und angenehmer (Ausstattung, Zimmergröße, Lage). Danke nochmals an den Mitarbeiter!!

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Freiraum hatte Vor- und Nachteile. Positiv war, dass das Zimmer sehr angenehm und ruhig war – ich habe dort wirklich gut geschlafen. Die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung, und das Badezimmer war schön und gepflegt.

Allerdings gab es auch einige Probleme. Das Eingangstor war nicht gut sichtbar, und der Eingangsbereich wirkte durch zwei Stapel Orangentüten (oder Ähnliches) unordentlich. Zudem musste ich meinen Schlüssel an einem anderen Ort abholen, ohne vorher informiert zu werden. Der Aufzug war defekt, sodass ich mein großes Gepäck die Treppe hinauftragen musste.

Ein weiteres Problem war die Kommunikation. An der Rezeption konnte niemand Deutsch sprechen, was in einem Hotel in Deutschland schwierig ist. Auch als ich nachts zurückkam, war zwar jemand da, aber die Verständigung war nicht möglich.

Zusammenfassend: Das Zimmer selbst war wirklich gut, aber der Service und die Organisation müssen dringend verbessert werden.

An Spieltagen der Borussia ist erst ein verspäteter Check in möglich. Wenn man dann (als Gästefan“) abends eincheckt hat dann kann dies auch zur Spannung hinzukommen. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer hat schon bessere Tage gesehen. Insgesamt könnte das Hotel ein Face-Lift vertragen. Das Frühstück und der Service sind aber erstklassig.

Das erste und letzte mal im Freiraum Hotel

Womit fange ich an:
1.) Empfang völlig Unfähig oder einfach nicht bei der Sache gewesen. Ich hatte den Meldeschein extra mit Firmenanschrift (Geschäftsreise) ausgefüllt, sowie es auf dem Counter schriftlich stand, damit die Rechnung richtig geschrieben werden kann.
Als der Herr die Sachen in den PC abgeschrieben hat, fragte er mich, ob es privat oder geschäftlich ist, sorry ganz ehrlich, warum die Frage, wenn ich den Bereich ausfülle? 2.frage von ihm, wie heißt die Firma? Ich war sprachlos. 3. Frage von ihm, soll der Zusatz Kostenanteile auch auf die Rechnung? Was für eine Frage, sonst hätte ich es nicht aufgeschrieben. Danach druckte er mir die Rechnung aus und übergab sie mir. Was war? Natürlich ohne Firmenangaben 🙈

2.) gewünscht hatte ich im Vorfeld ein ruhiges Zimmer, ich bekam ein Zimmer zur Straßenseite, wo komplette Baustelle war

3.) Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig. Kein Wunder, es sind nur leichtbauwände. Man hörte alles, jede Tür.

4.) Fahrstuhl ist wohl schon länger defekt

5.) ich war froh, das an dem Tag die Temperaturen gefallen sind, Hotel hat keine Klima Anlage, nur Lüfter.

6.) Ausstattung erinnert einen an ein etwas besseres Krankenhaus Zimmer.

7.) Ikea Schrank groß & wackelig(nicht an der Wand befestigt)

8.) Frühstück richtig schlecht,kein Rührei, Kaffeemaschine hatte Probleme usw.

Das Hotel dürfte Max 60€ kosten.
Bin selbst 8x im Monat im Hotel Limit 100€. Aber sowas habe ich noch nicht gesehen.

Verstehe die positiven Bewertungen wirklich nicht.

Preis/Leistung stimmt

Das Hotel ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und bietet dem Preis entsprechenden Komfort. Leider gibt es keinen Aufenthaltsraum außerhalb des Zimmers, keine Bar oder Restaurant am Abend. Parken kann man problemlos.

Leider hat der Check in 15 Minuten gedauert.
Die Zimmer, Bad wurden nicht zeitgemäß renoviert.
Frühstücksbuffet, gerade so.
Zimmerpreis entspricht nicht dem, was man vorfindet.

Für den Preis (über 200€) 1 Übernachtung völlig überteuert, Frühstück mittelmäßig, Rezeptionistin bei Anreise kompetent, später 2 männliche Kollegen, die unkompetent waren, sofortige Zahlung unangemessen (hatte man Angst, der Gast will nach der Nacht und Frühstück nix bezahlen?)
Wir waren vor Jahren schon mal da, damals war alles top, Sauberkeit, Personal, Frühstück, es gab ein tolles Restaurant.... wir werden nicht mehr dort buchen
