The room was a decent size; however, the online ad stated it could fit 5 people—which was not true. Aside from the outdoor entrance to our room coming as a surprise, the “breakfast” amenity of our stay only included self made waffles, toast, bagels & dry cereal. Limited drink options as the OJ was down. Lack of milk for cereal. Overall an okay stay, but would not stay again. Would rather pay a bit more for a much nicer experience elsewhere.

They really need to clean the rooms at all! The carpets were so dirty, that we found trash from other guests.
We also can hear what the next room was doing.

The breakfast was poor, that we couldn’t found spread cheese for 2 days! We preferred to have breakfast at Whataburger.

In the parking lot, there were a lot of cats and they damaged the car’s hood.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property was extremely dirty from the moment we walked in. The floors, walls, and overall condition of the room were unacceptable.

There were roaches in the room, which was alarming and completely unacceptable. On top of that, we found hair in the bed and in the bathtub, which made it clear that the room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival.

Unfortunately, we had just driven over 18 hours from Florida and were dealing with an emergency, with the hospital located right next door, so we had no choice but to stay. Otherwise, we would have left immediately.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances. The conditions are far below basic standards, and serious attention is needed.

Shady motel. Door needed a shoulder check to open because it was so bent. Light poured in from top and bottom. So did the flies and a couple roaches. Couch smelled of urine very heavily. Bathroom was disgusting, reeked of cannabis and smoke. We were in a room that slept 8 people, and they provided 3 towels and one tube of shampoo. Had to ask for more towels both days. Housekeeping never came. Apparently you have to ask for a visit. Neighboring rooms had guests chain smoking cannabis outside their door. Not a kid friendly place. Not well lit. Very disappointed for LaQuinta.

We got 2 rooms here and one of the 2 rooms smelled of something we could not pinpoint. We asked the gentleman at the front desk and he was very helpful to get a different room. I think the only thing good at this hotel was gentleman at the front desk.

The second room didnt smell as bad. We layed down on both beds and I heard the cries of 1000 souls going, not this bed. Every movement in the bed, you heard each spring creak. This is a very old a dated layout of a La Quinta. We stepped into the shower and the towels were not as white as they should be. We saw something like dried blood or rust. Unsure of the substance, we just decided to go down to Target and buy our own towels. When we stepped down on the fo-tile, water squeezed through and we saw ater seep up. Maybe from the previous guests water spilling out of the tub.

Breakfast was almost non-existant. No eggs, no sausage, just begal with no cream cheese. We did have Texas waffles with syrup luckly. The same guy who helped us with the room the night before was the only person on staff to take care of breakfask and the front desk at the same time. To me he was the only thing above and beyond at this location.

Dont expect too much from this location. If you pay over $75 a night, I am sorry.

I was a half-hour early. Asked to check in. Manager declined saying my room had be cleaned. Then he made me an offer. He would check me in early if I wrote a good Google review first. Very strange. I wanted to leave immediately but it was too much work. The room was adequate, but the grounds were dirty. The sidewalks had a lot of garbage. The pool was filled with leaves and litter. The pool's gate was screwed shut. This hotel seems to employ the gangster school of management. Better than sleeping in a car -- probably.

I like the architecture design and the room we stayed in because it's more spacious, but during our stay, there was a blackout, but we thought they had a generator to back up the electricity. I was bringing my kids, and one got anxiety because it's too dark. But anyhow, I would like to recommend repainting the walls in their bathroom because it seems there's mold. Overall, it was an average rate to stay in this hotel.

Affordability shouldn’t be a synonym of poor quality. With the exception of having 3 beds in a room which is really nice for a family of 5, the rest was really poor. The room had roaches, restroom and room was really dirty, sheets had stains, towels were dirty and pool was full of stray cats. The ladder to get to the room is falling apart and the breakfast was poor quality and selection

I had a terrible experience staying at La Quinta. The room we were given, room 441, was extremely dirty and clearly not properly maintained. When we arrived, there were no clean towels available, and the bathtub was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.

The worst part was discovering that the bed and sheets were infested with bugs. This was completely unacceptable and made the room impossible to stay in. Because of the conditions, we had no choice but to leave the hotel in the middle of the night.

This experience was very disappointing, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before staying here. Cleanliness and basic room standards were clearly not met.

The room was cleaned poorly. Pretty sure the wet towel after the shower cleaned the floor better than they did. The breakfast was a joke you had your choice of white bread a juice, a waffle or stale cereal. Everywhere you look something was broken or if it was “fixed” it was a land lord special. Definitely a place where they give homeless people a voucher to stay the night kind of vibe. Saw several drug deals go down in the parking lot. All sheets and bed spreads were stained. Keys had to be reprogrammed everyday at least once. Beds were hard as rocks. Half the wall plugs did not work. Tv did not work. Remote was broken and they would not fix it. Ac would never get cold. Even though told them 4 people would be staying in the room they would only have one towel in the room and when asking for a towel you had to go to the front desk to get it and he did not want to give you more than one towel at a time.

my daughter cut her foot after showering with a piece of glass that was on the floor, we didn't have more than 20min after arriving when this happened, she bled a lot and right before a volleyball tournament, the room smelled intensely of cigarette that we smelled like cigarette after we checked out, the bathroom knob was broken that we all

The room was dirty. Looks like they juat did the beds didn't sweep or clean the floors. The toilet bowl was clean on the inside but out looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a while. There was even a hanger from previous guests on the sofa. The bedsheets were stained as well as the cover. The towel for the floor was either stained or dirty couldnt twll if it was dirty or it was rust. Tv didnt work until we called someone to fix it. Room is for multiple people with 2 queen beds and 1 king it was 5 of us and only 3 towels were available in the room.

So this is definitely not a great hotel. It lacks a deep cleaning, the rooms have been poorly maintained. The rooms are run down and beat up, I did see a roach this go around. I have stayed here a few times only because it is located 10 minutes from where I need to be so one night is all I need. It is definitely not worth staying any longer than that. It definitely doesn't meet La Quinta standards but the location for me is excellent. The staff is friendly, I don't eat the breakfast so don't know what that looks like. Seriously the place is questionable but hey for one night only, it will do. Stay at your own risk if you need to save time from all the traffic coming into San Antonio.

Room smelled like smoke. Hairs on pillow. Carpet full of hair and dirt to the point we would wear shoes in the room. Bathroom floor sticky and dirty - like pancake syrup was pored on the floor. One of the comforters had a red stain about the size of a nickel. Sink counter had embedded stains and also some surface funk you could scrape off with your fingernails. One door handle on closet gone - just a jagged hole where the handle was. No water cups or glasses. Coffee maker had no pot or coffee. Stained and scuffed wood and drywall.

The front staff was great, very friendly. We did not have a problem with them. The room was very filthy. The room smelled like smoke when we went in. The carpet had stains and was missing in some areas, like it was badly scuffed. The sheets and pillows were dirty and stained. It looked like someone stepped on the pillow. The door to the bathroom and entrance door were stained, like someone scratched them with something brown and reddish. We found trash hidden behind our bed. The toilet was not properly cleaned and had poopy stains.

They did not have shampoos, conditioners, or soaps in both the rooms we stayed in. Sheets were pissed on I have pictures it also smelled like absolute crap in both the rooms we stayed in. The staff was not very helpful. Breakfast was not it either the juices like the lemonade, apple juice, and the orange juice were coming out hot for some odd reason. Never booking here again just an awful experience overall for a family who needed a rest and a shower couldn’t do much here because the room, staff, and hotel really sucked.

Room was in \"working conditions\" but not good by any means. There was damages with oxidation (that clerk implied was our doing), broken window that was taped over, damages to door/wall that seemed like room had been previously broken into. One of the provided toilet paper had a weird stain on it. We would of left but kids were tired and it was late. All we wanted was to sleep and get it over with.
