Do not stay at WoodSpring Suites San Antonio North Live Oak I-35. This is a biohazard masquerading as a hotel. My fiancé and I stayed in Room 207, and it was a nightmare.
The room is infested; I was woken up by a cockroach crawling across my forehead. The bathroom was disgusting—the tub was covered in mold, grime, and peeling paint. It wasn't even white anymore. The floors were so filthy we were afraid to walk barefoot. The room also reeked of pet odors and was covered in animal hair, showing zero disinfection between guests.
The bed was the worst part. The mattress is ancient and skeletal; I could squeeze it flat with one hand. We woke up in physical pain every day. On our last day, we stripped the bed and found huge brown stains and what was clearly dried blood on the mattress. No wonder we were itching all night.
To top it off, the fridge made a mechanical screeching noise that made sleep impossible. This property is a legitimate health risk and needs to be shut down by inspectors. Save your money, your health, and your sanity—stay anywhere else.

Its a horrible place to stay, I didn’t feel welcome cause no one was there to greet me. I had to call the customer service for help & they called property management to make them aware there was about 3 clients in the lobby waiting. I waited for about 25 minutes. Then once checked I get to my rooms and let me tell you it was the worse experience ever. My pictures will speak for themselves. I had to take my family & my business somewhere else. So much for my spring break getaway.

The most unacceptable motel accommodations we have ever experienced. The employee up front screamed at me when I asked for towels. He yelled that he had way too much going on to deal with me. I ran out of that trapped area. We were there due to an emergency or we would have left immediately. I reached out to corporate and I never hear back. None of my family will ever patronize these properties. This was aside from scurrying roaches, dirty room (the towels were to clean), we bought new towels, sheets and pillows at the Walmart and made the best of it without bothering the front desk. We should have called the police about the brutal explosion by this employee.

Upon entering the hotel a strong smell of cigarette smoke filled the air. Upon entering the room a musty smell. The toilet constantly leaking. The refrigerator did work. But if you want to cook something better being your own pots, pans and utensils. The front desk does have them for sale. If your key doesn't work after 11 pm, no one is at the front desk to assist. The only items for use in the room is two bars of soap and two cups. They only replace towels after you have checked out. This hotel reminded me of a highrise motel 6. There will be no more stays at this brand of hotel for me, I would have to be in desperate need to stay at this brand. The staff was grouchy. I asked they cleaning lady for towels and she tried to give me a roll of toilet paper. When I told her no, that's when she understood and handed me the towels.

I would not stay here. This place was horrible! Roaches , not clean and not all what was advertised! The blanket had stains and the blinds had some kind of substance all over it. I didn’t even stay one night. Had to leave after killing three roaches.

All of the above worse place to stay, except staff members…the place doesn’t match the quality in their advertisement. We changed rooms, three times…due to a roach and bugs with bedbugs problem. Housekeeping needs to upgrade their policies, on cleaning… smoking on 4th floor seeks down on the third floor level area.
As you enter into the building, something inside of your soul, screams out to you, that this is not the place to have a comfortable stay….

Staff has attitudes with you sometimes, the smoke alarms go off for no reason and are so loud, for myself who has a dog in the room. It causes them anxiety and lucky i happen to be there to get her out of there quickly. Theres no compassion from the staff that my dog is scared out of her mind as is shaken up. Also they advertise dogs are welcome but never mentioned there is a 200 dollar fee for them anywhere.

RUN don’t walk away from this location. Ghetto, unfriendly staff, threatening fights outside in the early morning, difficult to access entry, and they stole three nights from me (I was charged for a stay I never had). Roaches, dirty towels, and used bedsheets to top it all off. WORST experience. Do not book here.

Went through 2 room changes due to 1) a bug crawled across and under the mattress and I couldn’t find it, 2) the AC was struggling in room two, 3) final room was really smoky even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. By the morning all my possessions smelled like I’ve been smoking for 12 hours straight and I am a “never smoker”, haven’t even ever tried it. The staff in the evening when I checked in, seemed annoyed by me having problems and he said he had other people to take care of. The staff in the morning did not even ask about my stay.

The whole experience was terrible. Waited about 20 minutes for front desk to come help check us in. Walked inside the first set of doors it smelled so strong of cigarette smoke went in the elevator it had a musty smell was very dirty even had spiderweb. The wouldn’t work finally worked. Used the restroom toilet didn’t flush properly. The room was dirty had a couple of dead roaches took off my shoes the floor was sticky dirty. Went back down to let them know, he was helping someone check in was told to wait a minute while he helped the other person, I said no I need to be helped rt now I have a place I have to go to, he attended me gave me another room Same senario. Except the door opened better and the toilet worked . We won’t stay there again

It was a last minute stay but I did not have enough towels and there is no one at the front office to help after a certain hour and tub do not look at clean at all. They could do a little better at cleaning the place. Another thing was that it smelled a strong odor of cigarette smoke and weed.

Upon entering our room, we were greeted with roaches on the couch, roaches on the wall, and a pillow with brown streaks ALL over it. We immediately left (wouldnt even set our bags down) and booked another hotel nearby. The kicker...when letting the hotel and expedia know, our refund has been denied! Even with photos! So not only is it absolutely disgusting, they dont care!! Do not book here!

Everything was great but they had roaches and some of the bed sheets had stains and my door to room would not Lock when you closed it. I had to keep closing it very hard. Overall it if they get new bed sheets and have someone come pest control. The door can be fixed. Safe place but needs some work done. Overall everyone was amazing.

First and foremost the front desk closes at 11 pm so if you arrive late, good luck. The elevator was broken so not ADA compliant. The entire place smells like marijuana. The room is full of stains and what we realized was as mold. The toilet was broken and did not flush but the front desk wouldn’t fix because they were “closed”. The shower area completely damaged. Again, in horrible shape. Do not book this hotel. If it wasn’t almost midnight when we got the keys, we would have booked somewhere else. I hope hotels.com takes note of the condition of this location and drops them from their listing.

I booked a stay at this hotel because my friends were staying at a different location of the same hotel branch and it looked very nice. I was hoping it would be similar in quality since it was the same brand. Big mistake. I had to call someone to do my check in. The elevator wasn't working. The entire hotel had a urine smell. It didn't go away until the morning. My room was dirty. There was a roach crawling up the wall. Not of a lot of amenities in the room. Overall just a very bad experience..

Never staying here again.

The place smelled horrible. The entire hallway, the room, and the lobby smelled like cigarettes. The elevator was out of order and we had to climb up and down 4 flights of stairs. The beds were very uncomfortable. It seemed like they went to a Walmart and bought the cheapest mattresses known to mankind. You could feel the springs immediately. The AC didn’t look like it had been serviced in a long while. Hardly any air was coming from the unit. If we could’ve found someplace else to stay for the night, I would’ve. But we forcefully roughed through it and made it through the night.

The stay was ok.. if your looking for a clean affordable place to sleep and shower then this is the place . But Bring your own toilet paper. There was only one roll for 3 people and 3 night stay.. SMH .. I asked for 2 rolls and they said they don't give out Toilet paper.. so I had to drive to Target to buy some. Other then that the morning staff was nice and helpful.

Well, I just start off with. I had to sleep in my truck in the parking lot. Because I arrived after 12 AM. Mind you.. I called the front desk of the hotel and told them that it would be after midnight when I got there. Do too traveling issues. So upon arriving, I was told that I could not check-in. I would have to come back in the morning. So i slept in my truck in tne parking lot until it was time for me to leave for work at 4a.m. for your notes, I paid to stay there for days vette could not get someone to check me in because it was after midnight.
Highway robbery out here folks and most of them don't want to look that finger to put in any type of work.They'd rather make excuses for themselves and why they can't, but never offer up a resolution of what they could do
