Perfect Location

Perfect location, clean rooms, friendly staff who were very accommodating to a traveling family of 5. Used the transportation from the hotel to the airport and there were no issues and they were on time. Will definitely be staying here agian!

You can’t beat the price for the location of this tucked away gem. Keep in mind this is like. B&B so don’t expect a 5 star hotel. The staff was friendly and felt like family. The room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. They had a small breakfast area with fresh pastries, yogurt, cereal and a cappuccino machine. Don’t forget to pack your universal chargers!

Outstanding, incredible b&b. So very helpful and quick to respond. Made our 24 hour trip to Rome so memorable we will definitely return! Can not say enough about the lovely accommodation, room with balcony, delicious breakfast. Just delightful and the location was superb! .Also recommend allowing them to arrange transportation. Super nice driver Nico (spelling off) could not have been kinder!!

Nice property in excellent location near the Parthenon. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was self-service continental and minimal in choice. Good value for money for two people sharing, less good for single traveller.
My main issue with the property was that I was charged an additional €30 for a 'late check in'. I checked in just before 9pm, which I had informed them about in advance. Since I was paying just under £600 for a four-night stay, I did not appreciate the extra charge for a 'late check-in'. I had been told that this charge 'may be applied', not 'will be applied', but the person at the desk (who wanted cash - why?) said that they had no discretion regarding this payment.

We enjoyed 3 nights very much. But we were sightseeing so we left early in the morning and came back late every day.
The staff is wonderful, very accommodating. We felt like we were staying with friends. Coffee, danish, fruit provided and we brought to our room. I felt bad for making coffee so early in the morning because I probably disturbed the whole place.

The atmosphere is spectacular, hot hot water, comfortable bed, excellent AC. Walls a little thin but not too bad. Elevator small, but 2 people ok, safe locks (main door, gated entrance and then the hotel and then room).

This is a building built in the 1700s (I believe) and close to Pantheon. The hotel has no control over the noise from street but it wasn’t bad. This is a guesthouse so the staff leaves at night. We felt perfectly safe.

Very close to all the historic sites we wanted to see (walkable for most). Uber and taxi was very easy to use for sites further away. Plenty of dining options within a few minute walk. Very quiet property. We felt safe and secure.

We had a lovely stay at the Pantheonview recently. It was located so close to the Pantheon but was lovely and quiet in the room so got the sleep you needed. The room and bnb itself is small but enough for what you need. The only down side to the stay was that they are still not doing normal breakfast due to COVID, they still provide some basic items like meat and yoghurt but not enough. They are not doing their 'happy hour' event in the afternoons (as advertised) either assuming this was down to COVID as well. It was disappointing as we wasn't informed of these restrictions until we got there. I wouldn't mind normally but every where else in the City had no restrictions so seemed like they are just trying to save a bit of money on it...
Overall our stay was nice and the location really did make the holiday.

The hotel is very well located, right by the Pantheon. However, the rooms don't have a stunning view, you can barely see the monument. The inside of the hotel is very beautiful, and the rooms are also nicely decorated. However, there isn't a fridge in the rooms. I wouldn't call it luxury but it's a nice place, in a great position.

Great room for families with a few kids.

Out family of five stayed for two nights and it was great. The location was easy to find and about 75 meters from the entrance to the Pantheon. The rooms were nice and in good shape. The air conditioning was cold and the rooms were clean. We were able to leave our baggage upon checkout and returned later in the afternoon to pick it up. I’d recommend staying here for sure.

Great location! Close to many of the wonderful sites of beautiful Rome.
We had a late arrival but was were welcomed so graciously. Staff was awesome. We had difficulties with out Air reservations and they were helpful in assisting us. The breakfast was lovely. We really enjoyed breakfast on the balcony each morning. Afternoon happy hour and munchies was a wonderful surprise! The room was clean any very nicely decorated. Great bathroom. Waking up in Rome!

While we’ve been to Rome many times we’ve never had the opportunity to stay in Rome overnight and wake up there to enjoy the sights and sounds of morning in the Eternal City. Pantheonview view gave us that opportunity and it was so special! This is an adorable B&B with lots of character. The cocktails at happy hour and the continental breakfast were perfect, as was the location. The only negative was that it was on the top floor. Thank goodness there was an elevator! I would definitely recommend this B&B and will stay there again for another romantic overnight stay.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Rome

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pantheon View B&B. Extremely comfortable, modern room in a beautiful old Palazzo only steps from the Pantheon. The pre-arranged car from the airport was well worth it. We were welcomed by Linda on arrival with wine served on the balcony with a view of the Pantheon dome. The beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever had, the air conditioning a welcome relief, the location could not be better. Friendly, English-speaking hosts and a lovely breakfast and happy hour offered every day.

Fantastic location

Friendly welcome. Clean comfortable room with lovely view over the roof tops. Coffee/tea in the room and a hairdryer. Fantastic location, a few steps from the Pantheon Square. Continental breakfast selection. After checkout they kept our luggage until it was time to leave for the airport. Extremely helpful. Will stay again.

It's located on the 3rd floor of some building, barely found it, had to email them what time i was coming so they would be there to check us in. very outdated rooms and I didn't even want to shower in that bathroom. paid extra for a room with a balcony, upon check-in we learn we can't use it because its scaffolded for repair - getting a notification would have been helpful; especially since they had no issues reaching out to find out when we're coming. next day i needed to get in touch with the manager, none of the phone numbers they left were working and obviously they weren't there. a french family was also looking for the manager for quite a bit of time. just an overall disappointment and overpriced horrible place. i will be calling expedia.

Incredible location in 16th century building.

After a Mediterranean cruise we wanted a central location in the old section of Rome. We found this one directly adjacent to the Pantheon, one of the greatest accomplishments of 2000-year old Roman engineering, set in a romantic piazza that is always buzzing with activity. There is nothing like leaving your hotel early in the morning to visit the Pantheon when it is literally empty and then beginning your day of exploring on foot, or leaving a nearby restaurant to return to your room a few steps away. The room shows exposed brickwork and has a modern bathroom. Our unit had a view of the Pantheon dome over other rooftops (you should request it when booking).

No \"Pantheon View\", and very noisy breakfast room

While the room was comfortable the description of a Pantheon View was a con, as we had to lean out of the balcony to catch a glimpse off the column at the front of Pantheon.
Also we were regularly awoken by loud noise if crockery and conversation from the breakfast room as the adjoining wall must be very thin!
On the plus side, the location is great.

airport transpotation scam

The hotel arranged tranzportation to the airport for a cash payment of €55. We were picked up as promised. I confirmed driver name and that it was paid for but when we got to the airport the driver demanded payment again. I messaged the hotel snd have recieved no response.

The hotel was clean and had a nice breakfast and happy hour and nicely located.

They were demsnding on exact time of arrival and that rooms are clean from 10 to 11 each day. Some days it was an effort to be out of the room on time.

It was a very disappointing stay...

It was a very disappointing stay from the very beginning. When we arrived there, our check-in went okay. It was good that the hotel arranged airport pickup; however, we had to pay them in cash for the car service and could not use our credit card, so that was inconvenient. The internet does not work. It's like they have a fake router set up to make it look like they have a wifi connection with a network name but there is no actual internet or internet modem hooked up. The house keeper kept saying it worked on her phone but not one time did she prove that it worked. They were NOT accommodating to even try to get the internet fixed...she just kept saying \"I'm sorry, no connection for you. Maybe it's your phone. It's working fine for everyone else.\" I could tell she was lying. It's NOT my phone lady. Very annoying. So I went downstairs and used the free WIFI across the street that worked just fine for me...obviously my phone was working fine. And the most sketchy part...I was outfit and my husband had to run back to our room to get our passports so we could exchange our dollars for euros. When he went back to the room, he was approach my a man upstairs with the house keep and was asked to see his ID and then the man proceeded to get in my husband's face and start to take a picture of his ID!!! Can you even believe it. My husband grabbed his passport back out of the guy's hand and the guy said \"What are you doing? I'm a police officer.\" but we didn't see a badge. Just Terrible!!!

The room was freezing——it seems like the conditioner doesn't work very well. But you can not find a better location if you want to get to most of attractions in Roma. Staff is accomodating and the style of the room is classic.

Hotel is very close to pantheon, you can see a small part of the pantheon from the hotel room, location is awesome. Room is small with a really nice pateo, bathroom is also nice. The room had two aircons, but they didn't really help at all and we kept them off, so the room was cold which was not so nice. Bed mattres and pillows was not nice for me, maybe someone else feel differently. Breakfast is good but only two tables so if there is more people it could be a probblem but it didn't affect us at all. Hotel staff is very nice and polite. Room is clean and cared for which is nice.

Perfect for site seeing by foot!

A lovely B&B in the centre of Rome, right on the door step of the Pantheon. A lot of restaurants near by. In walking distance to all tourists sites: 20 minutes to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, 25 minutes the other direction to the Vatican. It is situated on the top floor (3rd floor) and has a lift. Our room was perfect for the two of us. Television only in Italian, and wifi is very weak, but we did not need these during our stay. Staff are lovely, but only there in the morning and between 5-7pm. Breakfast food was continental and again fitted our needs perfectly. The view of the Pantheon is over rooftops.

The location and welcome were fabulous, highly delighted with both. The room was a perfectly good size although the bathroom was tiny and not recommended for anyone on the larger side but more than adequate, after all, centre of Rome. The balcony was great and if I stuck my head out and looked left I could just see the Pantheon but was perfectly happy with that view (but tbh the words Pantheon view slightly misleading). The girl who checked us in was very very helpful and pleasant, really such a nice girl, her employers are lucky to have her! Felt extremely safe in the room and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any single travellers either. Kettle with tea/coffee etc in room, toiletries in bathroom, clean towels daily, lovely continental breakfast. Scored slighly low for condition due to the bathroom - think it could be doing with a bit of an upgrade but wouldn't stop me from returning.

Great location, nice facility

Located on the third floor of the building and requires a set of four keys to get to your room. Many restaurants nearby and very easy to get around. The one staff person we saw was excellent and helped us get an early breakfast several times. They also have a nightly happy hour with wine and a dessert. The only downside was that the water would only stay hot for 3 minutes, but hey said they were working with a contractor to remedy the problem. We liked the hotel a lot.

Perfect location. couldn't be closer everything.

The stay was lovely. At first it was difficult to find as all the doors look the same and it's on the top floor. Just don't expect a huge breakfast as it's a small B&B. That said it was plenty for the both of us. Hotel staff was friendly and always checking up on us. Clean. Tidy. And drinks are a plenty when it's happy hour which are included. Recommended!

This is not a hotel.
You go through three doors, each requiring its own key, to get to the so called lobby on the fourth floor. There is only one person who serves as the reception, cleaning, setting up the continental breakfast in a very small room, and basically manages the place.
The rooms of the \"suite\" we had reserved were two jail-cell size, one had a skylight as a window, the other looked at the roof. Long story short, good thing we had paid for only one night here and we're not going back again.

The service, as is expected in a regular hotel, was non-existent here. The conversations were like:
- Can we cancel the stay, we don't like the room?
- Sorry, you can cancel but you still have to pay for the room.
- Can we change the pick up time for the taxi (which was arranged by the hotel) to the airport, the flight is delayed?
- Sorry, you cannot change the time.
- Can we cancel the taxi, we don't need to get to the airport now, the flight is delayed?
- Sorry, you can cancel but you still have to pay for the taxi.

Nina was great getting us checked-in. She provided information about the neighborhood as well as Rome itself. She setup transportation from and back to the airport.

We stayed in two of the rooms (on two different stays). Both were identical, although one had mold near the A/C unit. The balconies are great and the proximity to sights and food put everything within walking distance.

In addition, they offered a good breakfast and nice Happy Hour.

Luxurious Appearance, but Can Still Improve...

This B&B, by appearance, is a hidden gem among the ancient streets of Rome; literally a few steps away from the Pantheon. Although you don't really get a view of the Pantheon (our room's window only showed the roof of the Pantheon), the location was still very convenient and the street was full of little shops and restaurants. The few inconveniences with this B&B, however, include no wifi in the rooms (you can only use the internet in the small common breakfast area), the water temperature in the shower was difficult to control, the water pressure became quite low if you use the sink and shower at the same time (we were a family of 5), and we rarely saw the staff (thankfully we rarely needed any major help). Overall, pretty good place to stay in Rome.

Location, location, location

Very comfortable hotel in a fantastic location. We could hear the sound of the piazza, which for us made the experience so great.
There is staff only during portions of the day. We got a ring of keys for room, main door, security gate and building door. It was like having our own little apartment in Rome. Room was lovely, but small with a limited amount of space for clothes. Small closet with 2 draws.
We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Nice hotel, close to attractions

A nice hotel which is within walking distance of all major attractions (Colosseum, the Vatican, Spanish steps etc). Everything was well presented and clean. The staff were really, really lovely! Kind and helpful with anything! Breakfast was limited but tasty and the coffee was great!

Our only hiccup was the shower, the water didn't flow from the main head properly... But other than that a superb stay!

Balcony made all the difference

While Rome itself was slightly overrated (in my book, this delightful B&B really made the stay worthwhile. The family that owns the place was extremely warm and welcoming, making sure we were comfortable with food and drink the first night, even though we arrived dreadfully late (thanks to the infamous train system!). The bed was the best part for my mom, who has a bad back. But the balcony was the best. We had breakfast out there every morning and our wine every night. Literally 300Ft down the road is the Pantheon Plaza, which was filled with street musicians and delicious food at all hours of the day. If you prefer extreme quiet, this is not the place for you. But if you like a little ambient noise, enjoy your stay here!

The owner has a good taste and takes care of little details. The daily breakfast and happy hour were good. The neighborhood is close to many attractions, it's the place to stay. Great location and quiet, comfy stay

Our stay here was very pleasant. Please note that Pantheon \"View\" is a bit exaggerated. If you lean over the balcony rail and crane your neck, you can see part of the Pantheon. That being said - this is a great location. It was steps away from the Pantheon, but surprisingly very quiet. We heard no outside noise at night. The room was nice and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The balcony is really nice to have, if you want to just sit outside and drink some wine. I saw some reviews on other sites complaining about the breakfast - it's been expanded. Every morning had a variety of pastries, bread, yogurt, eggs that could be hard-boiled, cheese, and cereal. The evening happy hour was very nice, as well. There were a few minor things that could be improved (our shower door didn't close properly), but, overall, we really enjoyed our stay here, and I would recommend this place to people.

Great B&B. Comfortable, clean stay in a pretty room with a balcony next to the Pantheon!

Only thing I would've changed would be to not have rented a car for this leg of our trip. There is no parking in this area of Rome and driving is insanity. I didn't realize how far away we had to park and manage our luggage.

The security at this B & B is great. The advertised a/c and tv left something to be desired. The units in the rooms did not work. The tv only worked in one room. Our room was very confining and poorly laid out. I didn't like that the lights only functioned with the card in a slot and one person couldn't leave without leaving the other guest in the dark. I couldn't find much surface area to put my articles out. Lighting was also poor. It is not a room for anyone that has trouble with mobility. Many steps. It was difficult to find staff to talk to,no phone in room.Registration was very rushed. The view from our window was of the Pantheon roof.

The Pantheon View B&B was in a wonderful location.
PROS
- On a side street off Piazza della Rotunda - walk to almost all city attractions.
- Plenty of restaurants and cafe's to choose from (avoid the one directly across the street - worst meal I ever had)
- Very clean and comfortable room - mine had a small balcony with table and 2 chairs and a view of the pantheon dome.
- Complementary wine and nibbles from 6-7:30 was very pleasant and made it easy to meet other guests and exchange information about sites and cultures.
- Good price for location
CONS
- The complementary breakfast - not very pleasant. Cheese were ok. Water for tea was cold. Coffee was horrendous and thick.
- Was not aware that this is a Cash Only hotel. No credit cards are accepted. I booked through Expedia and there was no mention on the site or on the confirmation. So, be aware. The situation was handled well, however. Reception took my drivers license and I was able to go to the ATM in the morning and pay the entire bill in Euro. This could have been a problem if I hadn't put more than enough money in my checking before I left the states.
- There was a table in my room under the TV that I was using for my computer and I had a few items on top of it. When I returned to my room on day 2 of our stay, the table was gone and all of my items were on the floor. Real winner!

Very nice staff and we enjoyed the happy hour and breakfast offerings. Terrific neighborhood so convenient to walk to and from. Lots of excellent restaurants very close (towards trevi fountain especially). We really loved the one just down stairs, La Sacrestia. The ones in the plaza in front of Pantheon were tourist traps. Found the best salumaria and cheeses in piazza navona market about 10 min walk. Would definitely stay at this B and B again! Thanks for making my first trip to Rome so easy and enjoyable!

Best location - great B&B.

Couldn't fault the place. It's in a lovely little street right next to the Pantheon, equidistant to all the major attractions and no more than a 10-15 minute walk to most of them (bit further to the Vatican). The b&b itself was a very pleasant surprise, modern yet rustic interior, very clean and, in our room for 3 at least, a lovely little balcony overlooking a few 'Assassin's Creed' style rooftops and the dome of the Pantheon. We slept with the door open most of the nights and all we could smell was lovely whiffs of bread and food and hear swifts and seagulls in the morning - not bad for the middle of Rome! Only downside is that the breakfast room is tiny and only two tables. It's on the top floor of the building but there's a little lift and it's very secure (the bunch of 6 keys to all the doors and metal gate should put your mind at rest on that score!) Aida, the lady who runs it, is very friendly. Once out onto the street, there's a wealth of restaurants and bars to visit right there. Great place, fab location, highly recommended.

Best Location in Rome?

Cozy little B&B hidden away in an alley next to the Pantheon. The location was superb and we liked staying at a small pitoresque place rather than a standard hotel setup. We can recommend this to anyone wanting best location w/o spending big.

The B&B is in a great location. The service was also good. The Breakfast was a bit lacking, and we were dissapointed that we did not get a room with a balcony, but all in all, it was a good stay.

Very good stay, but staff need to be available

All in all the hotel was good. Very nice rooms with good facilities. Breakfast was adequate but nothing particularly special. The only real problem for us was how hard it was to get in contact with the hotel staff. We had an issue and it was very difficult to get hold of anyone that worked there. Whilst it wouldn't be a problem if customers had no questions or issues to sort out, it was a little stressful when we couldn't find anyone to ask about our problem. Overall, however, the stay was pleasant and the location was very convenient and I would recommend it to a friend.

Great location!

Great location within walking distance to all sites in Rome. The Pantheon area is delightful with many shops, restaurants, piazzas and markets. The hotel staff was kind, efficient and helpful. The facilities were beautifully Italian. The rooftops views were also beautiful.

Our stay was great and the owner was very helpful. We had to catch a cab at 3:30 in the morning to go to the airport and prepaid her to arrange the taxi service. For whatever reason the cab never came (not the fault of the owner), which was stressful but upon our return to Rome she refunded our money. She was honest and willing to work with us which I really appreciated.

I appreciated the Manager's willingness to accomodate our particular travel arrangements as well as arranging for transport to the airport at the end of my stay.Breakfast pastries were delicious, freshly- procured at 8am each morning.I enjoyed mine on my own beautiful balcony.The Pantheon View is within walking distance of many historic sites and bus routes; St. Peter's is 30 min walk.

You cant get a better location!

Superb location, literally seconds from the Pantheon, short walks to Trevi Fountain, approx 20 mins walk to Vatican City. Owner very welcoming, breakfast is simple buffet, pastries, coffee, juice etc but not much else. Room was average, bit tired but was clean, unfortunately no air-con and it was extremely hot but she did provide 3 fans in the room. Nice little B & B.

Website photos are slightly misleading. Small main entry, hallway, and bathrooms have been updated & are very nice. Our room was reserved for a family of 4. Our room may be the last one to be updated in the future(?). Carpet very old & dirty. No ceiling fans as noted in website. Not sure where any bar/lounge was located as noted on website. Room needs a good cleaning & dusting. After we checked in, the window (no balcony) was open w/ 3 fans running in our bedroom, our children's room had one fan running ~ and it was quite a hot summer day in Rome. A small AC unit would have been wonderful... The wall mounted TV & cable wasn't used during our stay (we're in Rome!!). Breakfast set-up was small but very nice. Owner needs some education on how to run a business and keep customers satisfied. We prefer an apt. or B&B when in Europe vs. a hotel. We really are not that picky. Love to shop the local markets & do lots of walking! This little B&B has potential, but I won't recommend this to our friends.

Bed and breakfast was very close to everything. Very clean.
Breakfast was o.k. lots of sweets but also cheeses and bread for toasting, so that lasted us until lunch.
Ambience was great, felt like we were natives.

Not a hotel, so no phones or other services like, but very good nonetheless. I would recommend it to those who are used to a bed and breakfast setting.

We had no complaints. Just make sure you ask for keys for each person in the room. If you separate, it may be difficult to get back in if you do not have keys. Once we each had keys, it was great. We enjoyed our balcony. The bathroom was tiny as was the shower, but we are used to such bathrooms in Bed and Breakfasts. We found it something to laugh about. The lift was the smallest thing that I ever saw. We could both fit but not with our luggage. My husband had to ride with the luggage then send the elevator for me.

Ottima organizzazione, ineccepibile! Nonostante divieti e restrizioni varie, sono stati capaci di gestire al meglio sia la struttura che il mio transfer (puntualissimo) con una semplicità disarmante. Bravissima e simpaticissima Kimberly che si è resa disponibilissima in ogni momento. Ah, dimenticavo: la vicinanza al Pantheon (sì e no 40 mt) è un surplus fantastico :) E il balconcino su cui fare colazione e fumare la mia sigarettina? Spettacolare! Unica nota negativa ma su cui si può sorvolare: Roma era freddissima e il riscaldamento in camera era solo possibile con il climatizzatore ma non ho sofferto minimamente il freddo

Disappointing

The Hotel is situated in the center of the city near Pantheon, however there is no view. To sell our room as a suite is not ok. I am 2 m high and we were given room no. 5 at the attic. The ceilings are so low that I could not stand up straight in the bathroom and where the bed was placed. I complained about this without any action taken. We did only stay two nights - but the suite was definately oversold.

Renligt og smukt hotel. Fantastisk beliggenhed. Servicen var super god - hjælpsomt og venligt personale der gav os tips om seværdigheder, spisesteder osv. Det eneste (lille) minus var, at der var meget lydt. Man kunne høre når de andre gæster lavede morgenkaffe, men ellers var det en virkelig god oplevelse.

Das Zimmer hat extrem gestunken, es war nicht sauber (ekelhaft)! Obwohl die Heizung den ganzen Tag an war,war es im Zimmer extrem kalt! Der Wasserhahn war kaputt, sah sehr schäbig aus!
Ich würde die Unterkunft nicht empfehlen!!!

Repetiría seguro, la ubicación compensa las \"carencias\" del B&B. Nos alojamos en la habitación cuádruple y es espaciosa y cómoda, el baño un poco estrecho, y la ducha no funcionaba del todo bien. El desayuno correcto. En general por el precio y la ubicación volvería sin dudarlo.

Excellent location, cool atmosphere

We spent two nights (Dec 26-27, 2017). The room is small (no surprise, given the premium downtown location) but tastefully decorated and well equipped. The balcony is very cute - too bad we could not enjoy it because of non-stop rain! Breakfast and happy hour are good and generous. The landlady is very kind and helpful.

En mycket trevlig vistelse. Pantheon view B&B var charmigt och personligt. Vi åt frukost på vår pittoreska balkong varje morgon och kunde på kvällen njuta av sång och musik från piazzan bredvid. Läget vid Pantheon var idealiskt som utgångspunkt för vandringar i Roms historiska centrum. I närheten fanns många restauranger att välja mellan. Vi återvänder gärna.
