Right in the heart of everything! Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby Less than a 10 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. 2 min walk to the Pantheon. Hotel has a very rustic feel. Receptionist/Proprietor was very attentive and bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable.
Due to the location, taxis and transportation would find it hard to park in front of the hotel because it faces a busy piazza. Not convenient for those with car rentals.

No eggs for breakfast means the only source of protein is ham and cheese, which you will already have plenty of during the day in Rome. Staff was nice. Our room overlooked the plaza directly (nice view) but the window was good enough that not much of the noise from the street reached us. Opening it meant instant cigarette smell from the outdoor dining places though. The drain in our shower backed up a bit, and one of the nights, we had a significant and annoying electrical noise coming from the breaker box that went away the next day. Wifi worked OK but a bit annoying to operate sometimes (online login page).
Don’t expect luxury but the room looks nice and location is excellent, right next to Pantheon and in the middle of Vatican and Ancient Rome.

The staff at this hotel are so welcoming, helpful and friendly! Before arriving we received an email telling us exactly how to get to the hotel as well as tips on how to make sure we get into the right taxi and how much we should expect to pay which I appreciated since drivers were trying to get us to come with them and pay double. Once we arrived, our host arranged for a taxi to pick us up and get us to the airport in time for our flights home. The hotel is very centrally located and we even had a view of the pantheon from our hotel room. I highly recommend staying at this property if you want to be in the heart of Rome!

An interesting boutique hotel. The location is great, just a few metres from the Pantheon. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars in the surrounding area. We had a triple room, which was quite spacious. Plumbing works well. The continental breakfast was nice. The staff are great, really kind and helpful.

Exactly the Rome we wanted to see
I was looking for a nice hotel but with a local feel and this was exactly what i found here. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. We stayed for five days. Everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome. Every time we walked in we were greeted by name and with a smile. The room and bathroom were much bigger than i expected. Our room overlooked the piazza and every evening we had music playing right outside the window. The atmosphere was magical. With the windows open the tall buildings turned it into an amphitheater. With the windows closed it was completely quiet in the room. The music stopped about 10:30 every night and there was no problems sleeping. Tons of shops and restaurants everywhere around. We walked almost everywhere but there were taxis and public transportation close by. We felt safe everywhere we went. There is a small breakfast room with plenty of choices to start the day. My wife really enjoyed the violinist. This was exactly the Rome we wanted to see.

Monica was amazing!!!! We had a rental car, she gave us the name a a parking garage that was close by. 10 min. Taxi ride 14 Euros. We were able to leave our bags with her only one of our rooms was ready. She gave us dinner places and mapped out the places we were visiting. We will definitely come back to this hotel. If you’re looking for fancy this isn’t it. It’s full of culture and character and we loved it!!

Checking in the woman was very nice but that was the last time we saw her…we were giving a WhatsApp number that no one answers. We called and text. Room was never cleaned and we didn’t have the do not disturb sign up. We consistently tried to contact the front desk which no one was never there. The bathroom is full of mold and smells like it too. Mold is throughout the whole shower lining and the bathroom floor floods. Housekeeping is also the chef of the place. Breakfast was disgusting. Food was stale. I contacted Hotels.com and they weren’t able to get in contact with them either. I brought my partner to Rome for our engagement and birthday and I am beyond embarrassed and disgusted. This hotel should really be ashamed of themselves for this daunting experience. The fact that we STILL haven’t heard from the hotel tells you everything.

The woman that checked us in was so nice. After that, it went down hill. She was done at 8 pm that day then after that… it was a really daunting experience. We were given a WhatsApp number that no one answers. Privacy sign was not up on the door. Room stayed dirty until check out. Bathroom was FULL of mold. The trimming and shower had the most and leaks really bad through the doors.. The housekeeper is also the chef. Breakfast was disappointing as well. Also there’s no place to leave your bags/luggage..Contacted hotels.com and they couldn’t get ahold of them either. We continuously tried to reach out and no luck. Not how we wanted to spend my partners birthday and our engagement. I’m pretty embarrassed for booking this place to celebrate us and the hotel should be really be ashamed of themselves.

Staff was super friendly and helped with reservations and taxi needs. Room was quite large and spacious. The only downside was the shower/tub. The shower head made it to where you had to get really close to the front edge of the tub to get it to go over your head. The shower half door wasn’t sealed well so water would spill out and the tub was so deep that it was difficult to step out without worrying about falling. Overall we would definitely stay there again.
