The place you come home to when on vacation, especially in such a bustling city as Rome, is just as important as the sites you’ll visit, and our Martius Private Suites Presidential Spa Suite sealed the deal on what was one of our BEST trips EVER! An incredible value for the money, with each morning’s breakfast service in the beautiful dining room (that doubles as a bar at night) being impeccably served. This hotel was small enough that the staff remembered our names, and so never had to wait for a table at breakfast or dinner.
And nothing quite like a private sauna steam session in our suite after 25,000 steps in the Eternal City! Their friendly staff was uber- accommodating. They gave us the BEST dining recommendations and helped us score hard-to-get excursions and hidden Roman gems! Just 5 minute walk to The Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. Would we stay here again? I don’t think we would ever stay anywhere else when in Rome-thank you for making a special birthday trip-unforgettable, especially for tough customers like us!

Did not want to ruin my days in Rome so left hotel without any refund and checked into a new hotel.
I would say thats poor customer service and He didnt seem to careat all, rather rude when checking in and asked of we liked the new pope which was in condesending tone.

Above all - the location is unbeatable! Close to everything, 4 minutes from Via del Corso, 2 minutes from the Pantheon. The hotel is next to the famous Gioliti ice cream parlor. We will definitely stay again in the future.

If you're in Rome to sample the food and wine, and to see the sites and places of interest, then this hotel is perfectly placed for you. It is 30 minutes walk to the Vatican City and 15 minutes to the Colloseum in the opposite direction. The Trevi fountain and many other sites are mere minutes walk away. The shopping district is also ony a few minutes walk away.

The room was very modern, new and so comfortable. It was so close to everything in historic Rome even in the rain. Breakfast was very intimate with an assortment of traditional Italian pastries and coffee. I have to give Peter a sincere thank you again as we landed on New Years Day after our flight being delayed for 6 hours. He continued to communicate with me ensuring he would find us a driver and be waiting for us even on the holiday. The hotel had everything we needed and then some, the room diffuser and toiletries smelt amazing. Would stay her again no questions..

Our stay was everything we were looking for! The location was perfect - right in the middle of everything, but the entrance was private so it was quiet and you couldn’t tell you were in the heart of it all. Tons of dining options, and you’re at the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain within minutes. Our room was huge and the original ceilings were beautiful! Definitely recommend!

We arrived at 7:30 am and thought we wouldn’t be able to check in until later in the day but a room was ready for us right away. Also, we were upgraded to a larger room which was absolutely heavenly. This hotel is a mix of old charm and modern luxury. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The hotel is situated in a quiet courtyard within a busy area of Rome, close to many sights. 2 doors down was an amazing Gelato place called Giolitti. Although it is in the heart of the action, our room was quiet and had a romantic feel. I would definitely stay here the next time we are in Rome. This was one of our favourite hotels in Europe. We hope to be back soon.

We stayed in March. If its warm in off season expect to not have air conditioning! We had to open the window and were still hot. The front desk brought a fan. Unfortunately opening the windows let noise in! The garbage collectors ran between 3 and 5 daily so we were exhausted when we departed. Besides that stay was ok. Breakfast was very simple unless you added eggs and meats

They held our luggage, we had breakfast in their restaurant/bar area and waited in their lounge. They notified us when our room was ready. Loved the Al Fresco ceilings. We had a premium room that was modern. Next time we would upgrade to the presidential suite. We loved being able to have dinner at their restaurant/bar. We thought the lasagna and ravioli were good and loved the coffee tiramisu with the Nutella. The included breakfast was very good. Loved this hotel!

This property advertises as a 4 star. It is not. They charge a $60 per day resort fee. There is no resort whatsoever. You get a room and that's it. And ours had a tv that didn't work for most of the 4 nights we stayed. The \"upgraded\" room was an old room with a rigged lighting system that had wires strung about the ceiling with a couple of tasteless light fixtures, the kind you might find in an old train station. If you want heat, there is none. They don't turn on the system until a certain day or month. So its freezing or turn off the system and there is no air flow. The bathroom was nice. Bed ok. Elevator feels like a cofffin. Can fit 2 people. Way overpriced. Staff is nice, but I won't go back to this place.

Operating the shower was very unusual and simply complicated and needs learning to operate. The lighting in the bathroom was very well decorated and beautiful looking, but again, not functional while shaving. I was unable to clearly see the right side of my face.
