Unhappy with customer service

Unable to give a review on the best suites pantheon due to plumbing issues forcing us to relocate! We were not given a choice about relocating twice, and were not met by Simona who promised to help us relocate the second time! Also rooms were not ready at our second relocation as promised. Need to work on customer service and communication to the guests. We booked 6 months ahead, paid in full and wanted to be located at the pantheon piazza as we have been to Rome several times!
Many thanks to Francesca at Venustas Roma for easing our pain!

Close to everything!

First, Simona was super helpful and kind. She made our stay so memorable.

The hotel is within walking distance to most everything, with the nearest metro station about a half mile away at the Spanish Steps. The room we had was small, but perfect, and we were treated to musical performances out in the courtyard that travelled up into our window.

Fantastic price, location, and staff. We will be back here the next time we come to Rome.

The day before we were going we had a call from a man called Millad who said there was a problem in this hotel and we were moved to their other place at the trevi fountain. I asked him to confirm by email.I got a text message saying similar and we were to meet at the trevi.Not knowing who he was I called ebookers to confirm who had no record. They said they would ring but after trying they could not get through. They said they would investigate and contact us in 24-48 hrs which was no good we were due to arrive the next day. They told us to go to the original hotel and the reception would tell us if there was a problem. So we went to the pantheon. After 15min searching we saw a small plaque on the wall next to a plain door. We pressed the bell and no answer. We were out side for 30 mins when a workman came and went in I then discovered there were no reception just 3 rooms one with the name of the place but no reply. Millad called who said go over to the trevi hotel. we had to go past the pantheon other place through trevi fountain through an crouds with all our luggage in10mins. When there we found a small door no reception 3 rooms he had gone. We rang and text him he just said sorry sir. We were outside nearly 2 hrs. This is not an hotel just room no service or anything else. One staff blamed the other and gave us a gift as good will it was a fridge magnet! Dont go here it's not worth it. The location was great but much better real hotels all around there.

OK. Great location.

This comes across as a 3 star apartment. It's not really a hotel and the desk is only manned a couple of hours a day. The cleaner comes every day and the staff were helpful. The surrounding streets are very noisy at night so consider taking earplugs. We had a triple room which had plenty of space. Breakfast is a croissant in a cafe across the street which you're given a voucher for. The main advantage of this place is the location which is brilliant - just outside the Pantheon. The Trevi fountain is a 10 min walk and so is the Piazza Navona. We used a nearby taxi rank to get a taxi to the Vatican City.

Nice hotel close to the Pantheon

The big drawcard with this hotel is the location. Literally 50 yards from the Pantheon. The rooms are ok as well; clean, wifi, and a big bed.

Downsides - breakfast is a bit of an anti-climax frankly. Coffee, juice and a croissant served in a cafe over the road. Not great. Reception is very lightly staffed BUT generally available via mobile. Return airport transfer was messed up but they did direct me to the white cabs.

So all in, a good hotel but set your expectations first!

I've stayed at this hotel before & loved it. I found this experience to be incredibly disappointing. When we were first there in 2015 the proprietor was almost always on site and friendly, this time we never saw him except for check-in. In addition, all of our room key copies (the ones the hotel has), were in an unsecured cabinet by the check-in desk that was never watched, so basically anyone could get into our room at anytime; also the room safes looked as unsafe as can be, one looked like it had been repeatedly pulled out of the wall.

Then, we had an emergency, one of our party fell down the stairs and ended up needing an ambulance. Being from the states I wasn't sure how to call 911 in Italy...so I called the proprietors cell phone, he told me what to call. I did what he said. Upon reflection, I realized what he should have done. He should have called for me, because not speaking much Italian, explaining the emergency and where we were was more than difficult. He didn't even check back in with us about the emergency.

They also wanted to charge us a $40 commission for calling a car for us on our departure day (they waved this when we questioned it).

The only way I would recommend this hotel would be if you were young, didn't want to lock anything up in the safe (meaning you would carry your passport around with you the entire time), and didn't care that anyone could get into your room.

The location is absolutely suberb. The front doors opens to the Pantheon entrance. The staff is extremely accommodating and the rooms are charming. Taxi service is right outside the hotel. I would stay here again!

Incredible location! I wouldn't stay anywhere else. AC unit struggled, but otherwise it was a very nice place. Breakfast was a voucher to a nice place across the street, but I would have preferred in house.

Good location, but very disappointing

The location is indeed the best part about this place. It is located right in front of pantheon, which is a great walking distance to major sites such as Trevi and Colosseum. However, I am not sure if I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Positives:
When we arrived at the hotel, the room that we were first given did not have a good ventilation and the light was very deem as it was facing a wall of the next building. (The smell of the bathroom came straight into the room as a result of the poor ventilation.) Luckily, when we raised this issue, the staff gladly prepared another room and helped us move.

Negatives:
- On our last night, they did not clean our room and changed the sheets. There was nobody at the front desk to whom I could request to clean our room.
- Breakfast is not served at the hotel but you get a voucher instead to use at a cafe across from the hotel. The staffs at the cafe were very rude. On our last day, they even lied to us that the bathroom was not working and refused to give us the key to the bathroom. Soon after, I saw a couple of people getting the keys and using the bathroom with no problem. I had to raise my voice with the staff to address this issue, and it totally ruined my trip. They should treat all customers equally and with respect, especially if they make money out of tourists who stay at this hotel and eat breakfast there.
- Very limited breakfast option: only a small croissant, coffee and a fruit juice

Lovely hotel, Fabulous location!

We loved the hotel, the only downside was, for an American, the air conditioning was not as cool as we are used to. But the location and friendliness of the staff can't be beat. We are going to stay there again next summer!

We took our 2 young children and they were very accommodating and generous. The rooms had everything we needed and relatively good access for a double stroller.

My stay was excellent. Incredible location and a nice room. The breakfast was done with an excellent place next to it. Great way to start the day. Be aware that the showers are very narrow. It will be too narrow if you are on the girthy side.

The Hotel is situated in the plaza of the Pantheon which is why we chose it. The room was spacious however there were 2 extra single beds in the room in addition to our queen bed. The proprietor said this was a mistake and that they would be removed. This never happened during our 5 day stay. These extra beds took up much of our sitting space so we had to use them as chairs However we did not stay in the room much during the day. In addition the air conditioning was turned off between the hours of 11 PM and 8 AM during August when we stayed. The location and the overall room was satisfactory.

We had a great stay at Best Suites Pantheon. It was very centrally located, with our room having a view of the Pantheon. The Pantheon is about an 8 minute walk to the Trevi fountain, and maybe about 15 minutes to Piazza di Spagna. Except for the few steps/stairs up with our luggage to get to the elevator landing, the facilities were good. The room looks new and clean, and was bright.

Not as expected.

WiFi did not work in the room. No lobby or person at desk for most of the day. Room was not cleaned every day and the towels were never changed. Things like soaps and coffees were never replenished. Desk person was helpful but only present from 2pm until 9pm. No views from any rooms except for top floor suite. Breakfast is across the piazza and is minimal unless you pay extra.

Great Location, but be prepared.

Close your eyes on the trip from the airport by car at least - until you reach the city centre. The run down unkept buildings and streets covered in graffiti are enough to make you turn around and go home. Fortunately once you arrive in the city centre the character and charm of the historic city shines through. The hotel is in a great location directly across the square from the pantheon and within walking distance of all the major tourist sites and attractions.
The hotel is actually a small set of converted apartments on the fourth floor (narrow marble steps) but there is a small lift. Room was clean and functional with fridge soft drink mini bar and TV (Italian channels only). Bathroom had small shower cubicle , sink and toilet best described as cosy, clean but showing some age. The room was cleaned throughly each day.
The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful on arrival - also apologetic as the pre booked taxi was late arriving at the airport.
Breakfast included in the booking was actually a croissant, juice and one cup of coffee in a nearby cafe on presentation of a voucher issued by the hotel. Unfortunately it doesn't open at the times stated so you may miss out like us!
The location is a plus but be aware the piazza by the pantheon is busy at night and can be noisy.
Local restaurants are actually not to expensive although tend to offer limited \"traditional menus\"
Avoid cafes near the Vatican - they are a complete rip off. Treve fountain still under restoration!,

Amazing staff!

The staff was amazing at the hotel, we were interested in a tour and they did all of the research and gave us quotes to with different providers. They were absolutely amazing! We were interested in staying in the middle of Rome for an affordable price, and this completely met our needs. The room was standard and clean, and the only negative we would give is that we could hear when people walked by our room which was right by the entrance.

We chose this hotel for the location, and it is in a great if not the best location in Rome.

It is like 1 apartment with a front office, a hall, and a number of rooms coming out of it. It is on the 2nd floor of the building. 1st door on the left in the hall that is infront of the elevator.

Staff is very helpful with late check in that got a bit later because our flight into Rome got delayed. They also have great food recommendations, and don't just send you to the tourist traps.

Room was clean, as well as the building, but a bit small. It's ok if you plan to be outside touring/shopping /eating like we did.

Bed is hard. My back hurt, and didn't get much sleep on it. It's not terrible, but I slept on nicer beds.

Wi-fi in rooms further inside the hall was not working. We were told the router just broke, so follow up on this if you need wi-fi. Reception area wi-fi was very good.

If you keep the window open you will hear Rome, and you will smell coffee (Tazza d'oro is just below) . Location is everything. For us it was great, but I think it's worth mentioning.

The lady who checked us in was great. She helped us every way she could. The only \"issue\" was that the elevator did not go all the way down to the floor on which you entered the hotel. So, be prepared to carry your luggage up one flight of stairs and everything should be awesome - you are situated in the same plaza that the Pantheon is in. It is a great location!!

My opinion: unless you're on your high school sen

This hotel is very over priced for what you get. The noise is unbearable. Unfortunately this comes with the location, but visitors should realize this before booking. The building is right on the Pantheon piazza. Laura in the office was very nice and helpful, that is until she tried to convince he that the reason I was only getting a WiFi signal when I came out of my room was because the guys next door were probably downloading large files. For $174 for the night I do not expect to be lied to. It's clear they beed to improve there WiFi service to include all rooms or do not advertise that they have WiFi. Truly a dissapointing experience.

Good location but terrible service

We chose this hotel because of the great location and good review. But in the end, our long stay of 14 days with them was terrible.

The front desk woman (Not Katia) was pretentious. She did the basic stuff, but she did not try hard at all in anything that requires a little more effort. While Katia, the other woman, will dial many times before she gives up on calling a number, she will only try once and tell us it doesn't work. When we asked this woman, where can we find a laundry store that can finish the laundry on the same day, she responded, it is not possible to get it on the same day. After we urged her to call one of the stores, she finally told us it might be possible. We did got it on the same day in the end. But why she claimed we couldn't when she doesn't really know?

The facilities in the hotel was terrible. The first day I found the air-conditioner in my room is broken so I was given another room in the very back of the hotel. I stayed there for 14 days and no single day did I have full speed internet in my room and the easiest solution was simply a new router needed. I checked with the front desk for many days and the internet guy never ever came. We also complained about this and he refused to buy a new one.

In addition, the breakfast was not offered in the hotel but in a nearby cafe, which had terrible croissants everyday. they sometimes they just run out of them and give us old cookies instead.

Overall, terrible.

Air conditioning did not work and it was 100deg on average in Rome. Promises to fix it was just that - promises. Belligerent staff added to the difficulty. Few Italians speak English or make an effort to be understood.

This place is in the perfect location across the Pantheon. It is close to everything. It is tricky to find so I suggest arranging a transfer from the airport via the hotel. You do have to bring your lugguage up one flight of stairs so be aware of this. The rooms are large and beds comfortable. The reception staff are friendly and helpful.
The internet is weak and one of the rooms air conditioning was not working properly.
Cannot beat the price, just temper expectations.

LOCATION!

The location of this hotel and the friendly staff are the two best features. Our 4 night stay was fantastic! Being able to walk right outside and see the Pantheon was delightful. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly, even going so far as to print out helpful details for going to different places around Rome and being kind enough to call the breakfast cafe (breakfast is not in the hotel but in a cafe nearby) on the morning of our departure to ensure that we received an early breakfast before our flight home. The only downside is because of the location it does get a little loud at night (because it's right in the Pantheon square), the music does quiet down around 11. The room was clean and larger than I expected based on the other reviews. The bathroom was smallish with only a standing shower, but that was fine for us. (the attached photo is the view from the door of the hotel)

Very nice apartment. Close to everything, right across Pantheon, truly amazing.
Only bad is that the a/c gets turned Off at midnight to 7am and it gets quite uncomfortable.. On the other hand, both the girls that helped us checkin/checkout are amazing, very helpful and do all they can to make us feel comfortable.

Brilliant location and amazing staff!

With the Pantheon right at your front door, it's hard to beat the location of this hotel. However we have been so impressed with Best Suites, the rooms are large and very comfortable and the staff are absolutely fantastic!
They could not have been more friendly, helpful or accommodating, and we can not thank them enough for making or stay at Best Suites absolutely fantastic, we would not stay anywhere else in Rome!

Laura the hotel manager was beyond friendly and helpful. She was a delight and helped us over and above her duties. The hotel is located directly across from the Pantheon. You walk out the front door and it's right there. The location couldn't get any better. The hotel was small with little bathrooms. Definitely smaller than typical US hotel rooms but very clean and safe. It had everything we needed.

The BEST location for any type of walking tour for the city (Excluding Vatican). In the plaza at the Parthenon with access to a multitude of shops, restaurants and local history (Caravaggio paintings in a church 1 block away). Friendly staff and comfortable rooms and good air conditioning! Only problem is the showed which is so small not every traveler can fit through the opening!!

Best Suites Pantheon - Outstanding choice

Couldn't ask for a better location while visiting Rome. The office staff (Laura and Kaitlin) were extremely helpful and went well above and beyond to make our stay outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for visitors that want to be centrally located to most areas of interest.

Hotel was directly across from the Pantheon. There were numerous shops and restaurants right outside the front door, and major tourist destinations within walking distance. Laura, the front desk agent, was outstanding and friendly. The bathroom was nice, but the shower was a little small.

We have two family stayed in this hotel. we loved our stay there. The location is excellent: The hotel is behind the Pantheon. The hotel is small and do not have a lobby as you would find in most of the hotels. But I have to say that the hotel service is excellent. The staff is amazing friendly and helpful. Thanks, Katerina!! She was always responding my questions and helping us to get the shuttle and the taxi. I am very grateful for her help to get us a taxi to the airport even after we left the hotel. we certainly will come back to this hotel !

Staying here is great. It's right beside the pantheon so it's so central and never hard to find as there are signs for the pantheon all over the city. The rooms are cosy and clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is actually served around the corner in a bar, and it's basic but nice. One staff member in the bar wasn't that friendly but sure no big deal we had our breakfast and went on our way. The one thing is it's slightly noisy because it's right beside the pantheon, but it didn't bother us. We were out sight seeing and eating all day anyway.

Perfection in Rome

My fiance (whom I got engaged to at this hotel) and I stayed here mid August, 2014. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Katerina who runs the front, is amazing. We had booked a 5 night stay and upon arrival (9am) she let us know that we could check in early after the room was cleaned. This was perfect for us since we'd just gotten off an overnight train from Austria. We had only intended to drop our bags off thinking there is no way we'd get a room as early as 9am. On top of being able to check in early she also offered us a coupon for breakfast while we waited for the cleaning. That's not all! Katerina noticed that we had a longer stay and asked if we wanted to upgrade to a more spacious room for a nominal fee. She felt we'd be cramped for 5 nights in the basic room. I'm glad she asked because we gained a nice little seating area and a larger bed for the two of us.
Not only was Katerina amazing, the location of this hotel was perfect. The Pantheon was RIGHT THERE! I could have gone to the there every day and since our hotel was located literally a stone's throw away I did. We did a lot of walking in Rome since most sites were very close by. We're in our early 30's but if walking miles a day isn't your thing there are cabs which park outside the Pantheon to usher you around. My only regret is booking site seeing tours in Rome before I arrived. I wish I would have let Katerina take care of it since they work with local tour operators at the hotel.

Fantastic friendly staff. Location is literally within a stone throw of the pantheon. The surrounding neighborhood is a great shopping area and the location is fantastic for catching cabs to other locations in the city. Room was clean and modern. If you plan on just sleeping and spending most of your time in Rome out and about, it doesn't get any better. Thanks for a great finish to our Rome vacation!

Once I located the place it was fine. A narrow entry and stair and miniscule lift get you to the 2nd floor. I was expecting a storefront at least but there was just a name on a buzzer plaque - made it a challenge to find. Perhaps others take this for granted but I would have found it useful to have more specific understanding before check in time that there is only a buzzer plaque announcing the hotel (really a BnB on a floor of apts) and how to find it. Maybe 15-20 min to locate and i have been in this piazza many times before - maybe i was having a bad day.

Upon our arrival we were given the wrong room and told that this was it! Did NOT fit picture or description of room at all but immediately asked us to pay which we did.No city view, inside room next to the office overlooking a small courtyard with a view of a tent,no coffee maker no sofa or table as described in writing and picture. We emailed, requested a view of Pantheon explaining our celebration of bday and anniversary Lino said No Problem. They emailed us and asked what time we would be arriving because their hours are 8to8so we purposely made train tickets to arrive by 2or3 which we promptly did to get keys. The windows in the room were almost over my head I opened them and realized why because the view was terrible! It was important that we get the room,unpack,and rest we had a 6pm dinner/tour which lasted till 12:09 and next day we had a 7:15 am all day tour! I was very upset having booked this place so far in advance and emailing and being assured that they were ready for us as they emailed us about our upcomming trip. I know my husband was upset and disappointed I called hotel.com and the Wi-Fi that they touted on line made me drop 2 calls after I had already given my info to the operator twice,the third time I got thru to Jason and he was very kind I waited on the phone while he called the hotel and the same guy came back and told my husband that his colleague GAVE our room to someone else!

Hidden Gem in heart of Rome!

This was a really great place for my wife and I to stay on our recent trip to Rome. The Inn is across the piazza from the Pantheon, and is ideally situated to walk to all of Rome's top sites. The staff (especially Katerina) was extremely friendly, helpful, and willing to make great recommendations for sight-seeing tips, restaurants, etc. The room was clean, well appointed for the price point, and decently sized for Rome. The bathroom was small but clean and up-to-date as well.
The breakfast is provided at Cafe Dakota just around the corner, and was simple but delicious (pastry and hot beverage - typical of B&B's in Italy), and for 3 extra euro you can upgrade to a nice hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, prosciutto, and some fresh veggies. When we had to depart really early on our last day, Katerina brought a nice continental breakfast to our room so we wouldn't go hungry. We would definitely stay here again and will definitely recommend to any friends visiting Rome. Thanks for a great stay!

When we arrive it was night time. It was hard to find the small hotel. The neighboring business did not know this hotel name, not even the security at the square. Hotel itself is small, but the room size is decently spacious. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Of course there are some noise level given it's location at square. To me it was like white noise and did not bother me.Sometime can hear the street performers' singing, which is kinda cool. Did not stop us from sleeping, but boyfriend didn't like the noise. So we don't really open windows at night. People works there were all very nice and spoke English. The guy help me called and arranged airport shuttle service! Which was very nice, the shuttle service is 31euros (2ppl) vs 48euros for taxi. This hotel area is right at the Pantheon square. There's supermarket right near by. It's close to other attractions too. To go the Vatican City, can walk to the main big street and get #64 bus.

In the heart of everything!

This hotel is at the most amazing location in the centre of historic district. You open the front door, and you see the Pantheon across the small piazza! Walking distance to everything. Only 20 min to Vatican, 10 min to Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona. Really, we would go back anytime!

This apartment hotel was great for our family of four. Apartment was very clean and modern with efficiency kitchenette. Great location with Pantheon right across the piazza. Wonderful atmosphere in the evenings with many good restaurant options. The piazza was a little noisy at night but it really didn't bother us at alll. We literally walked everywhere from here. Elevator was very small and a few steps are required before reaching the elevator. Jeric, our host, was extremely pleasant and answered all questions and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant location!

The location just in front of the Pantheon is unbeatable! We had a double room (no Pantheon view) which was very clean and spacious and looked brand new. The bathroom was large but unfortunately had a small shower. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. It is not a typical hotel, so there isn't always someone at the reception area but they gave us a cell phone number to be able to reach them if needed. The breakfast was simple (coffee and croissant) at a nearby cafe, but who wants a big breakfast in Rome, where you can find great food everywhere? We has an excellent stay!

Location is Double Edged Sword Here, Staff great.

Hotel is on the 2nd floor of a building that's a close to 200 yrs old. The elevator is the smallest I've ever been in, and it doesn't go all the way to the ground floor, but stops about nine steps from the bottom. This hotel is not for people with walking disabilities ir can not tote their luggage up a flight of stairs. Location is great on one hand, you are almost in front of the Pantheon, and central to exploring ancient Rome, a short walk to Piazza Narvonna and 15 minute walk to Travestre or Trivi Fountain. Our room faced a small narrow side street. The bad news is this area is very popular during the day and even at night-late at night. The windows in our room did not close or seal tightly, and the noise at the street from people and restaurants was loud, until about 2:30 am. Shower was very small-if you are a large or overweight this could be an isssue geeting into the shower as it had a small opening where the shower doors slide together. If you are a light sleeper, want to go to bed early, are large and overweight, or have difficulty walking or toting your suitcases up a flight of stairs, this hotel is not for you. But the staff was great, very helpful, but only there from 9am-7p, they give you a key to get in and out of building. For us, location was great, as we went to bed late anyway, as we stayed out late eating, drinking, exploring in a great area to do just that and be in historic Rome.

Great Location, friendly staff....don't forget to give back the room key when you leave....in the USA we are not used to actual keys anymore...they are disposable all cards now...perhaps the staff should remind you on your way out...I had to Fedex mine back from the USA...costing me $60....ouch!
Otherwise, a great value for the low cost and central location....the shower is tiny like most of these kinds of hotels in Europe unless you want to pay $300-$400/night and go fancy...

So called breakfast at a nearby cafe consisted of a single drink - no refills - no coffee and fruit juice - and a single croissant. Served by surly staff. The worst, meanest breakfast ever. Perfect place to experience Rome

We loved our stay here. You can't beat the location. We kept the windows open the whole time we were in the room, which looked right out onto the square and the Pantheon. Our room was spacious, included a kitchenette, and the beds were comfortable, including the pull out couch bed. The location is central and we were walking distance from most sites in Rome. We walked to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Piazza Navona. There was also a bus stop nearby which we took to the Colosseum. The free breakfast was great...it's at a restaurant around the corner, and the breakfast includes a cappuccino, croissant, ham, eggs, and vegetables. Compared to the price of other hotels in the area I felt like we got a great value staying here. Downsides would be that it was noisy at night being right by the Pantheon (many tourists hang out late in the square), and the hotel was hard to find at first as the entrance is just one small door next to a Forex location. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Short great stay!

We were very pleased with the personalized service, amazing location and a clean room filled with anything you need to refresh! The room could be a bit more updated but that said the location compensates for all- great price, you cannot resist going down and walking left right or straight - within five to 15 minutes you are sure to run into - Spanish steps, Fontana de Trevi , collisium or piazza navona - let alone the fact that you are right in the piazza pantheon when you walk out the door!!! Book it!

Great Location

Rome is a lovely City with such history, it is a shame that so many of the buildings are blighted by graffiti & that so many people seem to have been forced into begging. The only other disappointment was how many hawkers there are trying to sell you tut. Apart from that my wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and took the opportunity of visiting a good number of the must see sights such as the Colosseum, the Vatican, The Forum and a host of others like the Trevi Fountain & the Spanish Steps. We would certainly despite my initial comments not be put off going again. D C & C A Long

Great location!It's near every have-to-see in Rome and on walking distance from the hotspots of the city!!The room spacious and equiped with every facility needed!The staff was great too!Very helpful and friendly!It was clean too- they cleaned the room every day and they changed the towels- not daily!The only thing we didn't like was the breakfast!We were given coupons for breakfast at a cafe nearby, which was a little inconvenient!The breakfast and the cafe itself was quite poor..There was also a problem with the wifi in our room but since we didn't need to use it we didn't ask for help from the staff!

Excellent hotel, amazing staff

I can't tell you how much I liked this hotel and the staff. Jerick and everyone there made you feel so at home, always offering coffee or water or anything you need. The location is fantastic- the door opens onto the best coffee shop in Rome, and it's in the piazza rotunda of the pantheon. My only criticism is that it's hard to find the first time as there is no sign except right on the door buzzer. But once you know where it is, you will be very happy with everything there. Thank you so much for such a great stay in Rome!

difficult to find the front door but once you do..

THE best location in Rome!!! The exact location may be difficult to find the first time around because everything is compact and packed in this busy tourist spot/neighborhood. But once you get to your room, which is tricky (super tiny lift only fits single person, super tiny stair case, if you have large suitcases you're in trouble!) you can finally enjoy the super nice room, transcendent view out your window.....you'll feel like living in ancient Rome, in an awesome way! The location is beyond words can describe, lots shopping, endless restaurants & boutiques!!

Simple accommodation, amazing location

This is really a slightly modern pensione. The rooms are a recent renovation but nothing fancy by any means. Still the the location and price are excellent (for Rome). The room was just big enough for my family of four, with a bunk for the kids and a bed for us. The bed were quite comfortable and the room was kept spotlessly clean. There wasn't always staff on site, but when they were there they were really friendly and helpful. This is not a hotel you'd want to spend all day hanging around, but with what is all around you you don't need to. It was a terrific place to lay your head after a day of exploring Rome.

Super clean room. Our room was right above the alley where there is a store and restaurant. We loved people watching from the window. It was soon cool to have the Pantheon as your neighbor. Location close to bus stop. The staff were all helpful and friendly.

Very comfortable and outstanding location. Excellent service, especially warm by Laura and by young man, I believe named Jerry. Only slight lacking was that breakfast was very limited to coffee, juice and bread, but across the street from the Pantheon and fantastic gelato, so who can complain!

Fabulous place to stay due to the proximity to the Pantheon. Wonderfully friendly staff, clean rooms with comfortable beds and nice sized bathrooms. Only odd bits were the unevenness of the hallways. Breakfast is served late by hotel standards but they can make it earlier. I highly recommend it for a few days stay. Their Internet worked well, which was important for work.

Best place to stay in all of Rome

a 2 minute walk to the pantheon, not too far from the colosseum and other main attractions by walking. staff was very friendly and helpful. room was clean, beautiful very old woodwork on the ceiling. air conditioning and wifi were fully functioning. quiet room. you need 2 keys in order to get into the reception, we were satisfied with the security. the elevator only fits maybe 2 people, or one adult with luggage, but its only a 2 floor hike up the stairs. overall a great and memorable place to stay. really completed our trip.

La ubicación es muy buena y la atención, lo malo fue la comunicación el check in está limitado en horario y al salir con semana de anticipación difícilmente pude revisar mi correo, por lo que la noche que llegue nadie nos abrió y el propietario no contesto el teléfono es difícil cuál llegas por la noche a un lugar que no conoces y es una pena que eso no lo consideren, de ahí en fuera mejor ubicación imposible todo te queda caminando y la atención de SImone es muy buena gracias por la atención que ella tuvo

Worst suites pantheon

Only the view is great (in front of the Pantheon) Mediocre room, horrible and old bathroom, extrasmall shower box.
There's also a small old kitchen with nothing working (a boiler with a power connection that can't fit in any place) and completely dirty (there were two fingers of dust on a pot left there)
I had to ask to clean better the bathroom the first day and the second day they didn't change the sheets at my baby's camping bed even if I put the dirty ones in evidence. Moreover they ask me not to turn off the air conditioning even if outside was not so hot. Honestly,never more.

Convenient hotel in perfect location

The hotel was absolutely ok for a short stay city trip. The rooms could be a bit cleaner (chewing gum sticking to cupvoards from previoius guests). However the location is perfect, the breakfast bar is very nice and above all the hotel clerc Jerric is very helpful and friendly. Even on his holiday he helped us confirming transfer which we found extremely nice of him.
