The pictures of this hotel are deceiving. The positive is the location is pretty good unless there are protests for government issues. The negative is the room was not finished at all. the shower did not have a floor but rather just the waterproof sealer on the floor. The hot water was on and off in mornings and nighttime, and water pressure fluctuated greatly. The door to the bathroom did not even close all the way as it hits the wall due to poor construction. The entire room liked like a DIY project that never got done. Then there was the construction noise all day long, so we had to stay out and about even if we were exhausted. The lift or elevator is very small, so takes a few trips with luggage, etc. There was also an unfinished room in the hallway that had an unplugged computer and some random chairs, small table, etc. but no real balcony to sit on outside.. The staff was responsive to some degree, but when they checked the hot water situation they said it was all good, only for it to be a problem again 5 minutes later. I would find another hotel, a real hotel and one that taxis and UBER can get to more easily as they often did not or were not able to drive down the road in front.

The staff were very pleasant and spoke English fluently, which was helpful for us. The rooms were adjoining and had very modern decor and facilities. The location was PERFECT. Close enough to Trevi fountain for eay walking access to everything we wanted to see but also just far enough away to have quiet surroundings. Convenient shops just outside hotel door. Loved and would HIGHLY recommend this place!

We are two people in our 70s with mobility issues. When we booked the room we made sure to verify that there was an elevator. When we checked into the hotel the elevator was out of order which made it VERY challenging to bring our luggage up two flights of stairs. The pictures on the website did not come close to matching the actual room which was very disappointing. We immediately checked out. The hotel refused to refund the money even though we were there 30 minutes max. We checked into a nearby hotel and when we explained our situation the concierge said that hotel had a bad rep. Avoid this hotel!

We recently stayed at Colonna Suite del Corso and overall had a very enjoyable experience. The location is the standout feature. We could easily walk to countless restaurants, shops, and major attractions, including the Pantheon. Even the Colosseum and Vatican were only about a 30-minute walk away. For exploring Rome, the location could not have been better.

The room was spacious and comfortable. We especially appreciated the desk/vanity area near the entrance, which worked well as both a place to get ready and a convenient drop zone for our belongings.

The bathroom featured a large shower with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The only drawback was the exhaust fan, which automatically came on with the light and was extremely loud an could be disruptive, especially during nighttime bathroom visits.

While the room was a great size, we found the lack of nightstand space and bathroom counter space inconvenient. The laminate flooring was also separated in several places, and I unfortunately got a splinter in my foot during our stay.

We did not try the breakfast because it was an additional €20 per person, per day, which felt a bit expensive given the abundance of nearby cafés and bakeries.

Despite a few areas that could use improvement, I would stay here again because the location is simply outstanding. Repairing the floors, adding more surface space, quieting the bathroom fan, and including breakfast would make this an even better stay.

We had such a great at this hotel! We were located in the middle of everything so our short trip to Rome was able to be filled with a lot to see and do within walking distance. The staff were all kind and helpful. Our room was a great size and we were right near the elevator but it was still quiet. The bed was huge, pillows could've been a little plumper but still great and they also provided a cot for our baby. We definitely plan on staying at this hotel again when we return to Rome!

The location of this hotel is perfect, central to everything. Walk to many places within minutes. Trevi Fountain and Pantheon 5 minutes away. The superior rooms were excellent, updated and clean. The air conditioning was also perfect. Staff were extremely helpful. Would definitely stay again when in Rome.

Great location next to Colonna Piazza at the heart of the old city. Great A/C, good breakfast. Room was fairly small, even though it was labeled as a luxury room. No sofas or chairs.
Only seating was in the bed itself. Very firm mattress. The bathroom featured a large spa style bathing area. Water did not fully drain, so the room had a perpetual smell of standing water. We complained to the staff but they did not do anything to resolve the issue. I would not stay here again.

Perfect location to see all the sights in Rome. Lots of choice for breakfast including delicious pastries.
Traditional Italian style property with shutters on windows.
Downside was that the huge bed in double superior room was a little bit hard but we were that shattered every night from all the walking we got to sleep straight away.

We were happy with our stay. The rooms are so beautiful and make you feel like you’re in an art museum. Rooms are hand painted. The bed was comfortable and the pillows are good.

The bathroom shower is small but we expected that going in. Water didn’t stay hot for long but it wasn’t the end of the world for us. We like to sleep cold and there is no air conditioning that was available so we slept with the huge beautiful windows open. Keep in mind you are on a popular street so bring ear plugs if you sleep with the window open.

Overall it was a good stay. Make sure you learn how to open the gate before the owner leaves for the day. They leave around 6pm and you must learn how to navigate getting in and out of the building or you won’t be able to get back in after they leave. Luckily we had another guest help us figure this out as there was a language barrier.

You are close to many things at this location including the train station (only a few blocks away)

A great location between the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. The room was larger than expected, plenty of storage, easy check in, friendly staff who arranged a taxi as we had an early start on the day we left. Minor improvements - they could do with adding coffee and milk as we only had various tea bags & sugar and I had a cold shower one morning. However, compared to other hotels we looked at in the area, this was great value for money and we would definitely stay here again.

The Colonna Suite del Corso was in an excellent location! It is close to the Panthron, Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiore. There was a lovely perfume shop across the street, a local pastry shop down the street and a local jeweler right next door.
The rooms were just the right size and they were cleaned every day. The front desk staffer, Luca, was most gracious as he stayed on hold for with the airline when our flight was canceled. He was able to translate for us and get us a new flight back home for the same day as the original. We would definitely stay there again!

Overall the hotel was nice. Our mistake was not advising the staff of the sewage smell in our room the first day. We stayed for two nights. Upon check out, I did tell the staff member, and unfortunately, he couldn’t even guarantee that I would be placed in a different room upon my return the following week which left me disappointed with his service.

The first words that come to my mind would be the place was the biggest fire trap. The interior always smelled like cigarette smoke. The floors were an invitation to fall flate on your face with all the 2-3 inch risers. No way would I get into the elevator! I purchased the breakfast once - just didn't appeal to me. The best thing I can say is - the hotel staff were amazing. They were so friendly, kind and ready to help the guests.

The staff was friendly. There are no elevators, but they did offer some help with luggage. We had the luxury suite, but it did not really exude \"luxury\". The bathroom was dark with the mood lighting and a very large tiled tub/small pool (not a whirlpool). There were slippers, but no robes. The room itself was small (not unexpected considering we were in Rome), but it was difficult to find a place to set the luggage. There was a small sauna that we were initially excited about, but again, no robes and being all the way across the room from the bathroom made it awkward. We did love the convenient location. I would stay again, but would probably not splurge on the 'luxury' suite.

The room was in a state of disrepair. Even the photo frame was broken. The bathroom door caught on the floor. The surfaces were worn and water damaged. The floor tiles rocked back and forth in certain places.
The bed was also the least comfortable I’ve ever had the displeasure of sleeping upon. I prepaid 3 nights and left after the 1st for a combination of the terrible bed and the noise. The hallway echoed so we could hear people coming in as if they were coming into our own room. There was also a couple screaming at each other we listened to for 2 hours.
Staff offered to get the manager then said they weren’t going to be in that day. I have nothing good to say about this place besides the convenient location.

The room was very neglected. The painting was unfinished, Baseboards were not put on and some had water damage, the shower needs a lot of TLC (visible mold and gunk between the sliding door, overhead shower-head did not have any pressure. The air unit did not work (I understand the AC was turned off but the fan itself was not even working for airflow in the room. The evening front desk gentleman tried but was not successful in fixing it and said the service tech was not available until the morning (but we were checking out). The day time staff did not seem to care - it was more of an \"Oh well\" type of attitude. I was not impressed at all.

On the day we left the street was blocked preventing our taxi from being able to pick us up at the hotel. Not only did the staff assist us in getting our luggage downstairs, but they carried our luggage to the location that the taxi was able to meet with us.

Great location for a stay in Rome. Within 5-10 minute walk of the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiore. We even walked when we went over to Vatican City and to the Colosseum. The little street can get busy at times but so is everything in Rome. There are plenty of dining options and shops nearby and our favorite restaurant of the trip was literally 2 doors down (Bella Donna). Rooms are a good size. There is a small elevator but unless we had our bags, we just took the stairs. We were too early for our rooms to be ready but the staff took our bags up to our rooms for safe storage. The hotel breakfast buffet had good options available. Beds and pillows were on the firm side but we still slept well. Would definitely stay here again on a future trip.

Entrance is on a quiet side street not far from a lot of the big things to see in Rome. I was with a group and from what I could see, all the rooms are a little quirky in a good way. Breakfast had an amazing pastry selection. Staff was very helpful: we checked our bags ahead of check-in, then they took our bags up when the rooms were ready.

Hotel was very welcoming easy to find and very central to Rome. We were stone throw from the trevi fountain and near lots of the other major sightseeing spots. There were local restaurants and bars close by and in the evenings the street the hotel was on was quiet and felt very safe. The only slight negative would be there were a few areas in the room that had recent renovation which needed repainting but these were small and didn’t bother us in the slightest. Beds were comfy, facilities were good and the staff friendly. Would recommend to anyone going to Rome.

The location of the hotel is excellent. We booked a luxury suite with a stunning bathroom and sauna. The bathroom was just as beautiful in person, it had a strong urine odor that made it difficult to enjoy. The sauna was nice and clean although we ended up not using it. The hotel overall was as average and breakfast was continental with cold cuts, fruit, cereal, and a lot of pastries. The mattress was very firm and room size average. It wasn’t bad for the price overall. It could use a little updating. Hotel very firm on check in not being until after 2:30. We found most other hotels we stayed during our Italy trip were more flexible- willing to allow earlier check in if room ready. This property from early AM seemed very rigid.
