A great location between the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. The room was larger than expected, plenty of storage, easy check in, friendly staff who arranged a taxi as we had an early start on the day we left. Minor improvements - they could do with adding coffee and milk as we only had various tea bags & sugar and I had a cold shower one morning. However, compared to other hotels we looked at in the area, this was great value for money and we would definitely stay here again.

The Colonna Suite del Corso was in an excellent location! It is close to the Panthron, Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiore. There was a lovely perfume shop across the street, a local pastry shop down the street and a local jeweler right next door.
The rooms were just the right size and they were cleaned every day. The front desk staffer, Luca, was most gracious as he stayed on hold for with the airline when our flight was canceled. He was able to translate for us and get us a new flight back home for the same day as the original. We would definitely stay there again!

Overall the hotel was nice. Our mistake was not advising the staff of the sewage smell in our room the first day. We stayed for two nights. Upon check out, I did tell the staff member, and unfortunately, he couldn’t even guarantee that I would be placed in a different room upon my return the following week which left me disappointed with his service.

Camas muy duras e incómodas, habitación con poca higiene. Un muy mal olor como de coladera en las habitaciones (tuvimos 3 y las 3 olían mal el primer día, después el olor disminuyó; una de ellas todos los días de nuestra estancia olió muy mal). Muy descuidadas las instalaciones, no por ser un hotel “viejo” debería estar tan descuidado.

The first words that come to my mind would be the place was the biggest fire trap. The interior always smelled like cigarette smoke. The floors were an invitation to fall flate on your face with all the 2-3 inch risers. No way would I get into the elevator! I purchased the breakfast once - just didn't appeal to me. The best thing I can say is - the hotel staff were amazing. They were so friendly, kind and ready to help the guests.

The staff was friendly. There are no elevators, but they did offer some help with luggage. We had the luxury suite, but it did not really exude \"luxury\". The bathroom was dark with the mood lighting and a very large tiled tub/small pool (not a whirlpool). There were slippers, but no robes. The room itself was small (not unexpected considering we were in Rome), but it was difficult to find a place to set the luggage. There was a small sauna that we were initially excited about, but again, no robes and being all the way across the room from the bathroom made it awkward. We did love the convenient location. I would stay again, but would probably not splurge on the 'luxury' suite.

The room was in a state of disrepair. Even the photo frame was broken. The bathroom door caught on the floor. The surfaces were worn and water damaged. The floor tiles rocked back and forth in certain places.
The bed was also the least comfortable I’ve ever had the displeasure of sleeping upon. I prepaid 3 nights and left after the 1st for a combination of the terrible bed and the noise. The hallway echoed so we could hear people coming in as if they were coming into our own room. There was also a couple screaming at each other we listened to for 2 hours.
Staff offered to get the manager then said they weren’t going to be in that day. I have nothing good to say about this place besides the convenient location.

The room was very neglected. The painting was unfinished, Baseboards were not put on and some had water damage, the shower needs a lot of TLC (visible mold and gunk between the sliding door, overhead shower-head did not have any pressure. The air unit did not work (I understand the AC was turned off but the fan itself was not even working for airflow in the room. The evening front desk gentleman tried but was not successful in fixing it and said the service tech was not available until the morning (but we were checking out). The day time staff did not seem to care - it was more of an \"Oh well\" type of attitude. I was not impressed at all.

Great location for a stay in Rome. Within 5-10 minute walk of the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiore. We even walked when we went over to Vatican City and to the Colosseum. The little street can get busy at times but so is everything in Rome. There are plenty of dining options and shops nearby and our favorite restaurant of the trip was literally 2 doors down (Bella Donna). Rooms are a good size. There is a small elevator but unless we had our bags, we just took the stairs. We were too early for our rooms to be ready but the staff took our bags up to our rooms for safe storage. The hotel breakfast buffet had good options available. Beds and pillows were on the firm side but we still slept well. Would definitely stay here again on a future trip.

Entrance is on a quiet side street not far from a lot of the big things to see in Rome. I was with a group and from what I could see, all the rooms are a little quirky in a good way. Breakfast had an amazing pastry selection. Staff was very helpful: we checked our bags ahead of check-in, then they took our bags up when the rooms were ready.

Hotel was very welcoming easy to find and very central to Rome. We were stone throw from the trevi fountain and near lots of the other major sightseeing spots. There were local restaurants and bars close by and in the evenings the street the hotel was on was quiet and felt very safe. The only slight negative would be there were a few areas in the room that had recent renovation which needed repainting but these were small and didn’t bother us in the slightest. Beds were comfy, facilities were good and the staff friendly. Would recommend to anyone going to Rome.

The location of the hotel is excellent. We booked a luxury suite with a stunning bathroom and sauna. The bathroom was just as beautiful in person, it had a strong urine odor that made it difficult to enjoy. The sauna was nice and clean although we ended up not using it. The hotel overall was as average and breakfast was continental with cold cuts, fruit, cereal, and a lot of pastries. The mattress was very firm and room size average. It wasn’t bad for the price overall. It could use a little updating. Hotel very firm on check in not being until after 2:30. We found most other hotels we stayed during our Italy trip were more flexible- willing to allow earlier check in if room ready. This property from early AM seemed very rigid.

We stayed in one of their suites. The way they have created these suites has to be one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. The hotel is beautiful - I love how they incorporated the original stone into the design of the room.
Rome is very walkable, and we felt safe everywhere we went. The hotel is within walking distance of a lot of the sites. It is conveniently located near places to eat and to shop.
Every one of the employees we had contact with were all friendly and helpful and all spoke English which was a blessing because I don't remember my Italian from 35 years ago! LOL
I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great Hotel and very central to everything

This hotel is a little gem close to everything. first impressions were not great reception was a little confusing and the lady was quite rude unhelpful. Mark was great after being yelled at from the lady to get our bags and after a little confusion he took our bag up the little squishy lift. I checked in and was told to come back at 3pm end of conversation. I stood for a bit and then went ok, so we went around the corner to Mcdonalds for a coffee and to wait for room to be ready as we were tired. we returned at 3pm and was shown to our room, our bags had been already put in our room. We were not expecting the size of the room it was massive. we had a huge bed which was so comfortable many different pillows to choose from. There was a minibar but we didnt use it. there was a safe and lots of room for our bags and to still move around. there was a kettle and tea and coffee facilities. the bathroom had a bath tub and shower it was a bit annoying to lay and relax in the spa bath as the fan was constantly on and very loud. Breakfast was good , you can ask for a hot breakfast and they make it fresh, barista hot coffee was nice. Bebe , Luca and Emmanuele were all great. They also held our bags after we checked out as we had a late flight. Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Pantheon were all within 5 min walk. Vatican City was easy 37min walk. Souvenir shop across the road was cheap. Best leather shop was Florence Moon. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

This suite was amazing. The pictures dont do it justice. Youll take the elevator to the 4th floor then use your card to go through a small seating area. Once in your suite theres a lounge room with a large terrace outside. The room itself is large with an impressive bathroom. The breakfast was nice, pastries and staff made coffees as well as cooked to order items. There is a fee to check in, id suggest going to BellaDonna for lunch while you wait.
