We had a brilliant stay at 59 Steps Trevi. On arrival, staff were very friendly! Room was spotless and very modern. Shower gel, shampoo etc were all lovely and a powerful hairdryer provided too. Location was brilliant, right around the corner from Trevi fountain and a short walk to most other tourist attractions. Will definitely stay here again, thanks!

Lovely and clean,Location was perfect for exploring Rome. The Trevi fountain is literally around the corner. Plenty of food options and shopping nearby. The staff are warm and welcoming, quick to respond to messages and always welcomed with a smile. The room was cleaned daily and check in/out easy. I will be staying here again if I return to Rome. Only thing I would say is no kettle or coffee making facilities onsite so if your like me and do want a drink on waking then only option is cold drinks bought and stored in the room refrigerator. Otherwise I cannot find anything negative to say.

We stayed for 3 nights in September and couldn’t believe the proximity to the Trevi Fountain. It was so close. We arrived after the office was closed so sent a message and they text me during the day giving check in details. We saw Alex in the office the next morning who was beyond helpful giving us tips and recommendations of places to go. The Pantheon and Spanish Steps are easily walkable and lots of great bars and restaurants very close by. We had a really great stay and would happily recommend.

The customer service with Andrew and Alex was beyond excellent. Both took the time to make sure we were comfortable and even patiently took time to give us some direction. Something you don’t see often in the hustle and bustle area of Rome. Like all the buildings in the area it is older but recently nicely remodeled. The windows are pretty sound proof and do a great job of blocking out street noise. The room was very clean and neat. The location is great! Just next to Trevi fountain. Within walking distance of the Vatican, coliseum and many other attractions. Would recommend to everyone!!

Really lovely room, they upgraded us upon arrival for free which was a lovely touch! Complimentary bottles of water. We could have had our room cleaned daily but didn't bother as we wasn't there long nough. Staff friendly and helpful. Location was amazing as we could walk everywhere from here. Always felt safe, as it was only me and my 12 year old daughter. Would definitely recommend and if we come back to Rome we would definitely stay again! Thank you

Clean, decent-sized room. Great location. The reason this hotel didn't get 5 stars is because they are non-responsive to issues. Our air conditioner stopped working and we found the office closed during their listed operating hours. We then called and nobody answered the phone. We even sent a message through Hotels.com and received no response. This is a decent place to stay as long as nothing goes wrong...but if something does you're out of luck!

The worst stay in Rome. There are bed bugs. Uncomfortable beds and pillows hard as bricks. They don't tell you that there is an external bathroom that is way to small to fit even 1 adult. 59 Steps Trevi approved an early check out and I have been waiting for a refund for 3 UNUSED nights. Only to find out they have decided not to refund me anything for UNUSED nights. Do not recommend unless you want your money stolen.

There is a shared lounge area straight outside room D4 which can get a bit noisy, it wasn’t a problem for us but maybe for light sleepers. The hotel was easy to find and the two people I met working at the office were both excellent and helpful. While there was no coffee maker in the room, I knew that going in. It’s Rome there no shortage of espresso everywhere. We found a local cafe nearby with the help of the woman on staff and it was great cappuccino and Cornetto there. I’d recommend to ask about that place. The room was clean and tidy upon arrival , and there was a housekeeper there daily. Location can’t be beat. Central to everything with a major landmark in Trevi fountain at the end of the road. Public transport nearby was easy to get to and scooter / bike rentals very close and abundant as well. I’d definitely stay there again. For the price. It’s a great deal.

This hotel is PERFECTLY located! 25 minute walk to the Vatican, and steps away from the Trevi Fountain. It’s under a ten minute walk to get to the Spanish steps and fifteen minutes to the Colosseum, all on foot! There are also amazing restaurants nearby, we really liked one called That’s Amore, about a three minute walk from the hotel. The rooms are great! Very clean, and the mattress was very comfortable. We upgraded to a suite with a terrace and were very happy with our choice. The breakfast included is good, it’s better than a standard continental breakfast. We stayed at 59 Steps Trevi for 2 nights and we had an amazing stay. The hotel is close to everything - couple min walk from the Trevi fountain, shops and restaurants right outside, and close to bus stations. The room is beautiful and very clean. They upgraded our family from basic to junior suite upon knowing we have two small kids. The gentleman at the reception was very professional and friendly. The man checking us in was very nice, and welcoming! Lovely experience! Helped us out in getting a car to pick us up right at the door and drop us off at the airport! Also he helped us bring our suitcases upstairs bc he saw us struggling up the stairs! Also we arrive very early for our reservation, but he made sure to get us in the room as soon as possible so we could experience Rome as fast as possible!

Good location. However it is so dirty it is unbelievable they even have maids. There were hairs in our bed, on our pillows, pubic hairs on the toilet, and hairs in the shower. It was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever had to stay in. We absolutely would never recommend staying here. They also do not have refrigerators in the room, despite what the website says. And there was no coffee.

Everything is ok except there was no lift so the staff had to literally carry our luggage up using the stairs when we check in... we then had to carry the luggage back down using the stairs when we check out

The Hotel is very conveniently located. Hardly 50 meters from Fountain Trievi and 830 meters from the metro. Very nice area, walking distance from most of the major attractions. Breakfast was good, had a lot of variety to choose from. Staff was courteous and helpful. They gave us room around 1230 hours on our request. Highly recommended. Good value from money atleast during this time of the year. Good Free Wifi.

We were booked to stay in this hotel and when we arrived the reception ( other entrance) told us that the hotel was flooded and we have to stay in other hotel ( cross the street) I think this one we stayed Towns Trevi is lower in standard, we should have been notified earlier ( they were msg us few days before) and I think we should have been return some money, very disappointed in this hotel how they handled it guests, will never book there again

This location is amazing. We walked to all the sights and didn't have to use any taxis (which are expensive in Rome). The man behind the desk also gave us really great advise on what tickets to buy and we saved around £40 euro on what we were originally planning.

hotel is literally steps from Trevi fountain, shopping and great restaurants.lovely atmosphere in and around the hotel. breakfast is served in the restaurant next door and was perfect (except it starts late at 8.30 which is a problem if you want to beat the queues at the coliseum, Vatican etc). room service was great. Each room has AC. No elevator but 2nd floor was not too arduous. Was not informed of late check in fee of 25 euros. Plane was delayed and we had booked shared transport which took one hour so we checked in at 9.15 and late check in charge starts at 9pm.

Last minute stop in Rome. I didn’t realize it was not a hotel with a lobby etc. it ended up working out perfect. Host was gracious and helpful. Room was not large but could handle two suitcases. At first it all looked perfect. Mari was very receptive with me, showing me the room and the hotel. The breakfast in simple and enough. It’s just OK, nothing special. But if you are not staying in the first floor you will not have the internet. The wifi conects in the 3rd floor but never works. Nobody solve the problem in the days i went there. It cost to me a lot of money since i had to use my Mobile conection on international roaming to work and to make the trip researchs.
And when i asked for a late check out they said the room was not available. But then i asked if i could pay for a few more hours, than the room was available for EUR$ 60,00 extra fee, interesting isn’t it?

This is a lovely little guest house. The rooms are on the third floor - hence the 59 steps. On arrival you should head to the restaurant to the left of door no 26 to be assigned your room. It will then be arranged for the staff to take your luggage to your room as there are no elevators. The family room was extremely spacious with two double beds, a dining table and chairs plus a good size sofa. The room is en suite and has a small kitchen adjacent to it with a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. The breakfasts are continental as you would expect with a goid range of meats, bread, cheese and juice etc. The location is great too as it is less than 1 minute walk to Trevi Fountain, 10 mins to the Colosseum and about 20 mins to the Vatican City - so very central. We had a very pleasant stay and the hosts are just lovely.

We had significant issues with this hotel. When we arrived, there was no sign or any way of knowing it was a hotel, just an unmarked door. We were looking around quite confused, when a woman approached us asking if we were looking for the hotel. When we asked her if she worked at the hotel, she said no, that instead she worked in the restaurant next door, but she could give us the keys to our room. We had several questions for her about our stay, but she was not able to answer any of them, continually saying that she did not work at the hotel. At no point in our three night stay were we able to talk to an actual hotel employee, only two women from the restaurant who continually told us they did not work at the hotel and they could not answer our questions. When we were checking out of the hotel, we were given an additional 120 Euro fee that we could not challenge since we were catching an early flight - we just had to pay it and leave. We originally booked the hotel for the low price and good location, but with the additional fee and the terrible service, we did not think it was worth it.

We had a nice time at the hotel, the room is clean, the shower needs an upgrade , the ladies are nice, there is a small kitchen in the floor which had what we needed. Breakfast is nice and tasty.

Our trip did not start well as KLM lost our luggage, however the hotel were absolutely brilliant, they extended our check in time and waited until 23:00hrs to ensure we got there in time. Nothing was a problem they called us by name, looked after us every turn always a smile. Rooms were clean and cleaned with new bedding every day.

Wonderful location, can't beat it.....very clean.....very nice manger.....my only complaint is NO ELEVATOR and we were on the 6th floor for our first stay and the 7 floor for the end of our trip (all pre-booked).....walking up all those stairs after a long day of siteseeing was exhausting, and getting your luggage down was a pain. Luckily there was someone there to help us get our luggage up when we arrived. Others then the stairs, it's a great location and you'll save time going to the gym with those stairs! And the rooms are VERY SMALL but comfortable

A very authentic place to stay just down the street from the Trevi Fountain - great because early morning is the only time that the normally huge fountain crowd is tiny. The bed was very comfortable and the air-conditioned room was spotless. Small shared bathroom but since the hotel is small, we never ran into anyone so no problem. Kitchen area with an expresso machine plus fruit, yogurt and cake for breakfast was very convenient as well as a stove and couple of small fridges if you want to use them. Evelina and the staff are wonderfully friendly, including the restaurant right downstairs. The only drawback for us were the stairs since there is no elevator. I would stay there again.
