This was a hard decision to make. I really want to give the hotel 5 stars and it deserves it, but there was a bit that was very irking issue.
Smoking!!
We were woken up by cigar smoke the second night. It was coming from a room across the hallway.
The second night we were coming to the hotel, climing up to the floor where the room was, and entering the hallway we smelled strong cigar smell again. Went down to the reception and here everything begins.
We couldn't get a straight answer if the hotel was 100% smoke free property. The reception staff was very ambiguous when call the guest in the room where the smoke was coming from. And they were trying to explain to me that if the room has a terrace, the guests can smoke on the terrace accordig to the Italian law.
But if the property is 100% smoke free, shouldn't any smoking on the property be disallowed.
Anyway, couldn't get a clear answer from the staff.
The hotel mgmt tried to make up the inconvenience, but two evening were upset by unpleasant events.
If I knew about the ambiguous smoking policy, I would have stayed at a different hotel.

Excellent 5 star property! Check in was amazing! The young lady who checked us in reviewed our itinerary and arranged taxi rides and even a boxed breakfast for the early morning excursion we had arranged. She was extremely helpful and we were very impressed with her follow through on everything!
Breakfast was a la carte and delicious with amazing variety.
Everyone was eager to help!
We definitely would like to return when we are in Rome!

Amazing hotel. I am a very seasoned traveler, and have stayed in some phenomenal accomodations. This is without a doubt one of the best, if the not the best, hotel I've ever stayed in. Gorgeous hotel with excellent service. Loved the fact that it’s relatively small. Breakfast was delicious. Traveled with a baby and stuff provided tons accommodations including crib, bathtub, toys, eating utensils etc. The location is very good, walkable to pretty much every tourist site.

From the welcome at our Uber, immediate help with our luggage to the front desk. Impeccable service. Our experience was 5 star by all the staff !! Our stay was just one day. They were very accommodating by allowing us to check in early.
Room was great, size a little tight but we were traveling with alot of luggage. Bed was very comfortable, shower/bath excellent. Toiletries scents were beautiful.
Dinner was 5 star, again the service & attention to detail was outstanding. Very hospitable & everyone was very pleasant to speak to.
Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely a come back to hotel! Thank you for making our 1st time & night in Rome a memorable one!

Had an amazing stay at Singer Palace. From the second we walked in they pampered and spoiled us with everything we wanted and more! We looked forward to a delicious breakfast every morning on the terrace. Honestly was one of my favorite moments of the trip. It’s also a nice quiet retreat from the crowds outside as it is greatly located walking distance from Trevi, the Pantheon and the Colusseum. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Singer Rome . From the moment I arrived, I was treated with the utmost care and attention, making my stay nothing short of spectacular.

The room was a little bit small but beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. Every detail, from the high-quality linens to the luxurious bathroom amenities, was carefully thought out to ensure comfort and elegance and the bed was incredibly comfortable

Just beautiful from start to finish. The bed is just heavenly. The rooms and bathrooms beautifully appointed. Gorgeous linens and dressing gowns. Every detail has been carefully thought out. The coasters and placemats and ornaments are just stunning. The marble staircase. But most of all the Team who are, without exception, so welcoming and just fantastic.
The breakfast is divine. The Sicilian, blood orange juice will be in my dreams. The eggs and datterino tomatoes just the best I’ve tasted.
We spent a lot of time in Jim’s bar, their gorgeous rooftop bar. We ate in the restaurant which wasn’t busy so lacking a bit of atmosphere but excellent nevertheless.

This is possibly among the best, most welcoming , friendly as well as high quality hotels that my husband and i have ever stayed. The staff were so welcoming, extremely helpful, tactful and friendly - a feeling that couldn't staff do enough for us without being overbearing. The breakfast were truly outstanding, not a buffet ( thank goodness) but a beautiful menu of cooked, or continental food, fressh fruit and oatries and fresly made coffee or tea- all of which you coukd order as much as you like. Again here the staff were wonderful. Everything about this hotel was perfect. High quality decor, comfirts, location and food. If it had disappointed in anyway i woukd say. But it exceeded expectations and i would definitely recommend it and consider going back. There is so much more to do in Rome and this hotel is perfectly situated.

The location is phenomenal. Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Jewish Ghetto and Synagogue, Spanish Steps, even the Vatican is in walkable distance. The room we stayed in was small (for American standards) but clean and well kept. The staff members were all extraordinary, always kind and helpful. Food and drinks served at the hotel were superb. Rome in itself is an amazing city, traffic is extreme and would not recommend driving.Taxis are cheap and widely available. The only con is the hotel was pricy, but the service provided definitely justified the cost.

My wife and I stayed at The Singer Palace only for one night of our honeymoon. We were greeting upon arrival with cold beverages at check in. Luggage was wisked away to our room. Lobby and staircaise is a marvel. Once in our very nicely appointed room a knock at the door with prosecco, berries and sweet honeymoon written in chocolate. Made us feel special! Staff was the best! Rooftop eaterie and bar was an exquisite view of Roma with very tasty options. Location was central and prime for walkable site seeing. At check out we were given a jar of jam as a gift and thank you. What an exceptional experience, 5 star!!

We had only 2 days to spend in Rome so we wanted to fit in as much as possible. Between the very friendly and helpful staff and the wonderful location we had an amazing time! The hotel reached out to us months in advance to assist in arranging transportation and tours. The location is perfect and very close to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon among others. The hotel is beautiful and spotless. What I’m realizing as I stay at more and more top hotels is that 5 stars unfortunately is inadequate to frequently flush out the nuances whether positive or negative amongst places. So the good: the people working here are amazing, friendly, helpful beyond the norm, polite. The actual hotel is beautiful. The staircase legendary. The breakfast divine. I’m happy and satisfied. But if five is the top then sure it’s not perfect. There is no gym on site. The rooms are spacious (or at least our suite was) but given the neighboring buildings, a bit dark (I was pining over the windows at the six senses across the street). And if I’m being picky we only got chocolates on our pillows 1/3 of the turndown nights and they didn’t replenish our water until the last night. This place is amazing. Stay here! I will again.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Selene and Ilenia who showed us our room and oriented us to the hotel and the neighborhood by map. Everybody we were in contact with at the front desk, restaurant or room service were extremely helpful and worked to make our stay very special. Daily breakfast was exceptional, including a surprise birthday celebration for one of us! The first night we had dinner in the hotel restaurant was superb and Vincenzo provided outstanding service. The location of this beautful hotel is within walking distance of many important sites in Rome. The place is maintined meticulously. We enjoyed our room and all the amenities. The hotel staff truly elevated our experience in Rome. We are now experiencing Italy-withdrawal after our Roman Holiday and we would definitely return to Singer Palace Hotel.

The hotel itself is quite nice and has interesting history. It is on a small street off the Via del Corso and the street is used for a lot of motorcycle parking. Taxis can’t get down the street and at times it’s difficult to walk because of the scooters and motorcycles jammed in there. The location is very convenient to all the famous sites. There is only one elevator which is annoying at times. The room amenities are lovely and there are plenty of outlets. The bathroom in our double room had a nice-sized shower but no convenient place for cosmetics and other toiletries. The big disappointment was breakfast. You order from a menu which is limited. Eggs were not well-cooked ( scrambled were cold, over-easy were hard), cold cereal was only granola, pastries were like bad American boxed varieties, toast arrived with one butter package. This is a 5-star hotel. I’ve had much better buffet breakfasts in 4-star hotels.

Our stay at the Singer Palace was absolutely amazing! So much in fact, I believe it to be the most STUNNING hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying!!! Not only was it GORGEOUS with tasteful design detail in terms of space within our suite, the technology of the lighting and air conditioning, beautiful decor, lovely restaurant and bar with a view, made more exceptional by Frederica’s wonderful staff. We love this hotel! We stayed for 3 nights and did
not find any fault. From reception, bellboy,
housekeeping, concierge and staff from breakfast
they were all wonderful and very polite. We arrived
with our car rental and they help us register since
this is in the ztl area. Other hotels will not do this.
The location is very central, walkable to everything
including Vatican which is around 40 mins walk.
Singer palace is pricey but same with other hotel in
the area but they do deliver. They give you more
than a 5 star service. We had dinner here and the
food did not disappoint. Thank you so much for
making our stay pleasant and wonderful. Special

Bravo. This is an extraordinary boutique hotel with a storied past as a palace built for the Singer family of the early 20th century sewing machine innovators.

Now an ultramodern, urban hotel in the heart of Rome, it also has a top drawyer, rooftop restaurant with unparalleled views of Rome.

This is definitely a boutique hotel. It is small throughout, has limited amenities, and was VERY difficult to find when we arrived in Rome.

The staff was great, very helpful and very focused on their clients.

Our room was small (even by big-city standards), but had a comfortable bed. No views to speak off. The hotel is fairly new and still has that 'clean' feel to it.

Location is good, within walking distance of many of Rome's attractions. We walked as far as the Vatican.

The value for this property just is not there. $500 per night for a standard room with no view and limited amenities just did not feel worth it. Even for Rome prices.

Would look at alternatives before staying here again.

Great Boutique Hotel in Rome

This hotel is exquisite. The location is ideal and the service from all of the hotel staff was first class. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome. Management deserve great credit for providing such a memorable stay for guests - and the food in the restaurant was wonderful.

I stayed here for three nights / four days with my fiancé and it was one of the best stays I've had in Rome (this being my third visit to the city).

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in ensuring we had a great trip and so efficient with any requests we had - including the restaurant staff who were lovely and even remembered guests' names! Not forgetting that the breakfasts were great and very filling too!

The room was very clean and in a great condition - we stayed in a standard room and found this was just the right amount of space for us with comfortable bedding too.

And location is pretty central and cannot get any better than that! We are already looking at dates for our next trip and will be staying at the Singer Palace Hotel for sure!

A big thank you to all at the hotel for making our short get-away into a great trip!

Great location - short walk to many popular sites, shopping and restaurants.
Wonderful hotel with excellent and helpful staff! Breakfast was delicious and the drinks on the rooftop terrace were wonderful.
We had the room with the terrace attached which was great for some added space.
Rooms were well stocked with little luxuries like specialty teas, still and sparkling waters, and welcome treats.
Overall the staff were very accommodating and helpful and we would stay there again.
Note that the area itself is quite busy and if you have a vehicle, you park in a different area arranged by the hotel. Do this in advance. The hotel reception was very good about arranging this for us.

Awesome place to stay, plus everything within walking distance! Federica recommended me some nice restaurants nearby and gave me a map of places to visit. Never seen such a high level of service! Definitely I will be back.

We had the best time staying in this Hotel!
Everything was amazing! Very beautiful hotel, superb hospitality, extremely clean( room was cleaned 3 times per day). Very stylish, intimate hotel. So close to all the attractions and restaurants. Definitely would recommend to stay there! We can’t wait to come back.

Superb Hotel with incredible staff

I booked this hotel for my daughter and her boyfriend for my daughters birthday. I made some requests via email and I must say the responses from the hotel with beyond excellent. Everyone at the hotel went above and beyond to make her stay amazing!

A lovely hotel with two beautiful roof terraces.

A lovely hotel, the service was excellent and they were very helpful in every way. The breakfast menu was fantastic and included all types of options including gluten free. The bar on the 6th floor had a fantastic roof terrace and the restaurant on the 5th had a large terrace that gave us the opportunity to dine outdoors in November. Close to the Pantheon, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.
