This property needs a deep clean and some renovations. However, the location is perfect! We walked to the Pantheon (daily), as well as to Trivoli Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Colliseum, and the Vatican. There are lots of shopping options, and dining (and gelato) right outside the front door.

Incredible location, walking distance to literally everything. Pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants, you name it, all walking distance, apartment was kept in really well condition, service is phenomenal, only thing we noticed was some dirt build up in the shower but other than that still 5/5 stars

The worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. No skirting boards in the room or bathroom. Shower had mold growing in it. There were hairs on the toilet and bidet when we entered the property. Had a terrible smell from the bathroom. Would not let my worst enemy in life stay here. Will never return to this hotel or use expedia again. Terrible customer service and overall experience

The property is located in central Storico 2 minutes from Pantheon, 5 or 10 min to Travis Fountain, 12 min to Spanish Steps. Great shopping and Restaurants nearby. Our unit had 3 beds in apartment. We stayed with my wife and two adult sons. Our bed was comfortable and they each had their own beds (one on a loft and another separately partitioned. The unit had 2 full baths and a kitchen. Awesome stay.

Beds, AC and location are great, not the cleanest

Beds were comfortable, AC was great, location was fantastic. The condition of the apartment could have been better, shower heads were full of limescale, some sockets were missing covers, was quite dusty by the windows.

It also doesn't come across as all the beds are in one room with a loft and a separated half wall. Not much privacy if you're going as a couple and with friends.

The staff and service were very bad. From the day we got in, there was no hot water, the air conditioner was dripping, and toilet was not flushing. When we told the staff, they said it’s working fine. It was never fixed. We showered with cold water for 3 days. I was surprised with Expedia putting this hotel as a 4 star hotel and honoring their service.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. If you want to save money it's fine, and the location is amazing. But no one is there to check you in after 2pm, so we had to wait 40 minutes. The toilet was on the fritz. They said someone would come by to help us with setting up the second bed and they never did. The rooms are meh. But location you can't beat. I just wouldn't stay there again.

hotel in a pedestrian only street.
impossible to park since it’s in an extremely touristic area, so forget about bringing big luggage, you’ll have to pass through crowded piazzas and narrow coblestone street.
If you’re driving, parking is impossible.
the nearest parking is a 15 min walk across the tiber river.
Room is not as shown in the picture, no sofa bed, only one double bed.
The only positive fact about this hotel: you’re in the tourist area, walking distance from every interesting site in Rome

Mold on ceiling of shower. Flooring not like pictures in photos, there is no wood flooding. It has ugly decor not like pictures posted on expedia. No laundry facilities as is stated in amenities, they said washer has been broken a long time. Ran out of toilet paper. One night no hot water, had to take a very cold shower, no one on property site to call or fix it. Terrible property, so many issues. Location is the only redeeming factor. Would never recommend this place.

Overall, this place was fine. The layout is a little weird, but we had plenty of room and liked having two bathrooms for 5 people. We loved the location, just a block or so from Pantheon, our favorite “old, old” building in Rome.

There was a kitchen inside our apartment but we didn’t really use it. There was another kitchen in a common area outside our door but things looked unclean and messy. We were hoping for a coffee maker for the mornings and we saw one in the common area, but went to use it and couldn’t find any filters.

The check in was almost a disaster. They asked what time we would arrive, I messaged back around 1:30. We got there a little before 1:30 and bumped into someone leaving the building with a bike. Turns out he was the guy to check us in. Had we arrived one minute later, he would have been gone.

Hotel worked for easy access to Pantheon and other old city attractions. Reception seemed to be rarely present—no one was there at check in and the luggage storage option was a common space of several rooms with a code, which didn’t feel very secure. Water pressure was extremely low and rooms while clean need a deep scrub.

This is the biggest dump I’ve ever stayed in. Beyond disappointed with my families experience. Room was dirty, really weird smell to the room, hair found in towels, mold growing in bathroom, no toilet paper, no washcloths or any towels besides the 3 bath towels that were in our room when we arrived. Hardly any water pressure in a moldy dirty shower that had no warm water…..that’s correct, only cold water. There is no one here on site to assist or contact with problems. This place was a complete rip off. There are plenty other options with just as good of location. In the United States we call owners of building like this “slumlords.” Gouge you on the price, provide crap service, and don’t invest into the property to make it nicer and accommodating. Stay far away from this place. Also, writing this ahead for any stupid response from management. I’ve seen how they respond to others and it’s laughable. You are the problem.

Amazing location! Steps from the Pantheon, a quick walk to Trevi Fountain and 25 minutes to Coloseum. The staff was great, the apartment had a little fridge and cooktop and sink and there is a larger kitchen/seating area outside. They arranged transportation to the airport which was very helpful. We would stay there again.

Comfortable apartment just steps from dining options, coffee, and Gelato. A quick, easy walk to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Castel Sant Angelo. The streets are all so beautiful. We also walked to the Colosseum and Vatican, but those were a bit longer, maybe 20- 30 minutes. The rooms and beds were comfortable for our family of 5. We had some trouble navigating the doors ( the 2nd door either worked with the key or the code and we never knew what would work), but have learned the ancient doors of Italy can be tricky. The area was busy but not as much as the main tourist areas, so it was nice to come back to this area and have a bit more space away from the crowds. We would definitely rent this apartment again.

Good location but poor condition of the room

If location is important to you, then this is the hotel for you. But if you care more about safety and condition of the room, look somewhere else. We were given a room that was flooded before and part of the floor came out making it unsafe. We were not given any heads up before our arrival so it was too late to find another hotel in the area. We tripped several times and the bathroom door can't be closed because of the bulging floor. On the last night of our stay, part of the door frame fell and hit one of us on the head. I texted the person in charge and received no response at all. Also, the reception was only open till like 2pm, so you can't get any help after that. However, the reception staff was helpful and polite if you could catch him early enough. We have been to Italy 6 times before so are very experienced travelers. Therefore, we can handle many unexpected situations on our own. However, for someone less experienced or for families with small children or elderly, this situation could ruin your vacation. I do have to say the location of the hotel is very good, walking distance to all major attractions. But the condition of the room is unsafe and honestly shouldn't be rented out before the issues are fixed.

Central location. Spacious room for family of 5. Just 2 minutes walk to Pantheon and about 5 mins from Piazza Navona. Many eateries around. The downside is its a bit tricky to find the hotel due to no clear label or signboard. As it is a pedestrian area the driver could not enter the road so we were dropped nearby. Spent about 10 mins walking around with our luggages to find the hotel. In fact we were dropped very close to the hotel but we missed the very small hotel names at the door

Over price and unpleasant stay

Over price and Super under expectation. We were greeted by the stench from the garbage at the entrance and it was Super unpleasant. The kitchen that attached to our loft was not comfortable for me to use as the utensils looked dirty and the cupboard doors had gave way. Worst the door knobs for our room came off when we opened the door.

Perfect location from the moment you walk out of the guest house, walking distance to everything. The owner and his daughter were so helpful with all our inquiries. Four of us stayed together in the flat and it worked out well. Loved the espresso machine that was available for all guest to use in the open area. I would recommend staying here.

The property has a great location. Gelato out the front door. The management are friendly and assisted us in many ways. The main issue was the air conditioning. The internal a/c wall unit leaked to the point it dripped constantly. We had to place buckets underneath the unit to prevent flooding . The room was spacious and if your looking to fit 6 guests in with two bathrooms it’s the place. Finding the place could be a problem but worth it if the a/c is working. It dripped for two days and looked it had been a problem in the past

The leaky ac unit was a bit annoying. The fact there were 2 full bathrooms was fantastic! The loft area, though provided more sleep space, was a little dangerous (personal opinion). I don’t recommend for children.

First of all, this place was in a great location and was an excellent value.
What really made a difference to me was the person who checked me in. I believe his name was Giuseppe, but I'm not sure. This was on a Saturday June 1.
He provided us very kindly with everything we needed, instructions on how to use the espresso machine :), he reserved a cab for us the next day, and was just generally very pleasant.
The room was very nice...the bed was exceedingly comfortable. It was everything I needed.

The bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom was fairly spacious and very clean. The common area was also nice and provided an opportunity to walk around a bit. The location is excellent as well, given that pretty much every major attraction is within a 10-15 minute walk. The staff were also extremely helpful in all regards.

The property is very close indeed to the Pantheon and central to all the attractions of Rome, be assured that you will be right in the centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful particularly with the facilities, recommendations for lunch and made me feel very welcome. I would say however that the room I stayed in overlooked a very busy side street (Via della Maddalena) and this has everything including shops, restaurants, gelateria and performing artists. The non-functioning aircon meant sleeping with an open window which puts you basically in the street for noise. Other than this, it's superb.

I absolutely loved my stay at Casa Bella Pantheon. Everyone was SO pleasant and helpful! They let us check in early and gave us recommendations for everything that we could possibly need, like restaurants and markets. The room was absolutely beautiful. It was one giant area separated by a dividing bookshelf. My daughter LOVED the loft area. It was very clean. Our trash was taken daily and the beds were made. There were some slow spots in the apartment for the WiFi, but it was not a problem. It was loud at night, but that's what you get for being in the middle of a heavily trafficked area. We slept great regardless. I think the only issue we had was the lock on the door! Lol. But the staff was always there to help us! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great apartment on an amazing location!

This apartment was pretty close to perfect. It easily accommodated 6 people, and two nice bathrooms made it even more comfortable. The location is perfect, as it is within two blocks of the Pantheon and easy walking distance to most tourist locations. It helped that there are two gellaterias on the street, with one directly across the street from the front door!
Check in was wonderful. We were accommodated with an earlier check in due to an early flight, and we were able to leave our luggage while the room was being cleaned.
The main bed is a memory foam mattress, and was very comfortable.
One thing to note is that two of the beds are located in a loft accessed by a ladder. My tween aged children thought this was great fun, but it is something to consider if you are travelling with little children.
Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment!

Adequate Hotel and Location

Our family was happy with this hotel. It was within walking distance of significant historical sites and shopping areas. It took was 30 minutes to walk to the Vatican, but we enjoyed the sun and the walk. The hotel was comfortable and clean enough for us. The pillows were memory foam, so we were happy with the firmness. The staff was kind and helpful.
