Unsafe property. Door jam on the room was busted and never repaired. Looked like it had been kicked in and left a huge gap between the door and the from you could see outside with the door shut. Floor was split, broken and separated in several places. Breakfast was practically non existent, 2 bagels or muffins or something in a container was the entire thing.

Don't go if you value your safety.

The first room we were given was a smoking room and I do not smoke. The second room smelled fine. But the floors were sticky. The bed was good and slept well. The breakfast was very sparse. I guess that what you expect for a low price point.

All 4 times I've stayed here, the rooms were on the ground floor next to my car. It's located near the freeway, close to restaurants. The rooms are clean with small refrigerators and microwaves. Staff is friendly.

It looked like black mold around the bathtub., there was two of us and they just gave us two towels, two wash cloths. The floors were falling apart. Breakfast was a joke one bagel at a time, toast, or choice of two cereals one of the milks was expired, coffee and juice. It just went downhill we have stayed there before a couple of times but this time it was bad!

Our original room had a busted TV which wasn’t realized until after we had everything moved into the room. The HDMI cable had the end broke off. After reporting it to the desk, they moved us to a different room on the other side of the property. The new room’s smelled like weed and the sink was completely clogged and it took 10 minutes to drain. Also, there was no cold water in the shower. The cold faucet handle was broken internally.
We were too tired to change rooms again so “enjoyed” hot showers before departure.

The condition of the room was very bad. Water damage in the ceiling and the floor showed that there had been some kind of flooding problem. The heater smelled moldy as if it had been wet and not cleaned, making it unusable. The laminate flooring was buckled and black between the pieces of flooring. The worst part was the curtain to the room: some sort of white crusty something was stuck to it. To their credit, the staff cleaned the curtain when I asked, but I shouldn't have to ask. The breakfast was also substandard (stale white bread, plain bagels, apple juice, raisin bran and fruit loops were all that was available - no protein of any kind).

The room is sufficiently clean and maintained. It's not glamorous but it has everything needed. Most importantly, no bed bugs. Not much provided for breakfast but given the general price of the room, you can cross the street to McDonalds for breakfast. The managers are cordial, and the lady there in the evenings is nice.

This property is in desperate need of upgrades. The first room we were given the rubber moldings around the walls were lying on the floor, the curtains had holes in them, the bathroom door was damaged and the handle was falling off, the ceiling tile above the tub was falling in, the entrance door was difficult to use and the flooring was in bad shape. The neighbors were playing loud music and hanging out outside of the room smoking pot.
We asked to be moved to another room. It was somewhat better, quiet but we had to call management when the door wouldn’t open with the card key. Won’t stay here again

Light above the sink didn't work at all and the floor wasn't as clean as it could be. The AC controls appeared to be in Celsius, which is fine for me, but may be a bigger issue for some. The room was cozy and fairly clean. The bedding had what appeared to be a couple of small stains, but was clean and comfortable otherwise. The bed allowed for a good night's sleep. Good value overall.

The room was dirty overall. The floors were dirty, there was something splattered on the wall by the sink, the shower was dirty and moldy. The ceiling was falling in. The phone didnt work and appeared to be covered in dirt and grease.
I would not recommend staying at this property to anyone! It was gross. Extremely unsatisfied.

The property was in disrepair. The floor in our room was in bad shape. The walls needed to be repainted. The air conditioning barely worked we couldn’t get it cool in our room. We couldn’t get a signal on the tv and when we told the front desk they never came to fix it. The stairwell had loose steps.

This trip was for my son's orient for college. They say started of great. My husband finally made it into town. He got settled in and then he spotted a bed bed bug. Went to the front desk to let them know, we got another room and guess what? Another bed bug!!!! We requested our money back and these people will not give us our money back. Talking about some rules and regulations!!! What rule and regulations as states that a person doesn't deserve their money back if an establishment has bed bugs!!! The rooms weren't all that anyway. Whatever you do, don't stay at the red roof inn in Bloomington, IL

I was very disappointed in the common reception area. It was very dark and dingy, and the bathroom was out of order the entire time we were there.
We were not given any information about the breakfast time schedule, and there was no information in the room about it, or any area restaurants either. I just went there at a reasonable time to see what they had to offer.
Breakfast offerings were bread and bagels -with a toaster, juice, coffee, and milk, green bananas and one flavor of yogurt. Oh and two sweetened cereals. Margarine -not butter, peanut butter, cream cheese and two jelly’s were offered to accompany the bread.
The refrigerator in the room was not even cool when we opened it up to put our drinks in it, but it did cool down after I changed the temperature setting.
Even though my reservation clearly was for two people, it only had towels & washcloths for one person.
I have stayed in many Red Roof Inns before, and I can say this one was very disappointing.

The man working the front desk was very nice. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. When we checked into the room the door looked like someone had tried breaking in with a crow bar. Horrible! First the property shook me down for another $50.00 AFTER I had it paid for on Expedia. (Call me, I'll give you the details). The hotel had homeless people walking around it. The doorknob literally fell off from the inside of the door, I repaired it the best I could so we could exit quickly in an emergency. At night there was a strange noise coming from inside the wall in front of the bed. We couldn't decide if something was walking around in the wall or if it was something else. Nothing would have surprised me. STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

My bed had bugs, there was no light at the sink, hair dryer not working and the smell of the room. I always bring an air freshner which I seldom use and I use it that night and morning. The people working there were nice. They move us to a different room the next day. Better but the toilet flush was not working but they did fix it. It was just an inconvenience for a short stay. I am not expecting to be a 5 star. Just need a place to sleep without hassle.

I was told if i wanted hot water to start. Then i was given the key go and inspect the room. We went smelled bad the ceiling tile missing, just bad. Aftet calling a few places eveything was booked due to parent week for ISU. We had to suck it up and stay just to sleep a few hours. Will never stay at any red roof locations.
