The staff was really helpful,we couldn’t figure out Tv volume and they came right away and fixed it. For 25$ that was it for everything, the stay was worth it. I cleaned the A/C because it was really dirty and I was afraid of Carbon Monoxide poisoning. The room was small and smell we had spray . It worked out fine . This place was disgusting outside and inside. Our room had what looked to be like dip or chewing tobacco stains on the wall closest to the bed, people head hair and pubic hair in the bed sheets and on the shower towels. The parking lot had people smoking by the doors to enter and by other people’s windows. Not just cigarettes but weed. The hallways carpet was crunchy hard like they had never been shampooed.
Front desk wasn’t helpful in getting us a different room. She spoke to me like I was the problem when I told her that the only thing done in the room we were in was that the bed was made. When I told her it was filthy, she shrugged her shoulders. Never will my company book there again.

If I could give a -5 I would have. The bathroom was filthy. My feet stuck to the floors. The faucet didn’t work in the sink. Shower had rust all around it. The mirror was rusted all along the bottom. The hair dryer cord was burnt. Nothing in the room had been dusted for a long time. I found a bug in the bed. Long Black hair in the sink (mine is short and gray). If I hadn’t of arrived overly tired and very late…I would have left. I booked a head of time and photos made the place look good. That certainly was not the case! Never again!!!

We were traveling for a wrestling camp in town so we reserved two rooms next door to each other. Upon arrival to the rooms the maintenance man was present and although tried to helpful was invasive to say the least. One of our rooms smelled highly of mold and cigarette smoke. The bathroom floor was flooded and the should was in a condition that I would not have even got in with my flip flops on. The second room smelled the same but the floor felt like there was a layer grease on it and was dirty and slick. The floors in both rooms had not been swept in some time. We asked for two new rooms that also smelled. The maintenance man followed and then kept coming in both of the new rooms. Again the floors were filthy. We requested refunds for both rooms. The attendant first tried to argue that the two new rooms were clean but ultimately gave us a refund. The fact that the maintenance was continued to follow us from room to room and was inserting himself into our rooms kept us from feeling safe and secure. Not to mention he was obviously intoxicated. Would not recommend this facility.

I booked through Expedia in March. When I got to the hotel and checked in they gave me the room key and WiFi code. The next morning one of the staff members tried to kick me along with my three kids out after I had already paid for four nights at the beginning of March. I was then told that if I wanted to keep my room I would have to pay 300 a night because of the music festival that I was attending had all the rooms booked. I was very rudely told that if I didn’t want to pay that I needed to get my stuff and get out. After, explaining that I had already paid for the room once and I would not be paying the extreme price they wanted, they made me pay 50 a night on top of me already paying for the room when it was booked. I had receipts where it had been paid and my itinerary for my check in and checkout dates saved to show to the worker.
Also, the room was nothing to write home about and there were dead roaches that could be seen in the hallways throughout the bottom floor. They also did not have a pool or hot tub like was said online and in the advertising pictures that they had posted. Parts of the buildings outside surface was falling off. The pictures posted online do not compared to the real crap hole this place was. I would book anywhere else but here if you need to stay in Bloomington for any reason!!!

The room was (probably) mostly clean, but a happy to the point of feeling dirty. The bathroom and shower was either dirty or had a lot of stains, rusty spots, cracks and damage to the stall, and overall did not inspire confidence. The room was sparse, the curtain was missing a few hangers and failed to cover the window, which opened onto an entrance door so that anyone coming or going could see in. And the room was right next to a DIFFERENT entrance door (opposite the window) that closed with a loud thud anytime anyone went through it. The room felt like a storage closet that was belatedly converted into a guest room. On top of all this, the room was ridiculously overpriced- I presume it was some type of surge pricing on a busy night in town- the reason I ended up there. Won’t make THAT mistake again- I’d rather just save the money and sleep in the car!

I really wanted to give this Motel 6 a great review - I cannot. I could not understand the desk clerk through the glass window in the lobby. They did not have the King room I reserved, we had to take 2 double beds. The floors were SOOOO filthy! I was happy to see 2 sheets on the bed, but they were just laid across the bed. I had to tuck it together myself. I know, it's a cheap place to stay on the way through, but I have experienced some very pleasant Motel 6's. This was not one of them. When I went to check out, the gal behind the desk just sat on her chair with her feet on another chair and stared at me. No \"may I help you?\" or even a good morning! She finally got up and asked \"checking out?\" At least I think that's what she said. Back up to the glass partition with a sorry excuse for a speaker. I will NOT recommend this Motel 6 to anyone.

The first room that I was assigned had a large dead bug in the middle of the bathroom floor and the shower stall floor had a large orange-red spot about 12\" across that bled into the drain. The entire room was filthy. I was then given the room across the hall. I really should have just left and found another hotel. This bathroom was disgusting in every way. The shower stall was disintegrating and had literally piles of peeled off plastic just pushed into the corner. The laminate floor of the room was dirty and greasy like the tile floor of a busy fast food joint on a rainy day. My feet were actually sliding on it. The fridge was dead. The building door near my room had a broken latch so anyone could just open it from outside. There was actually a big sign on the front of the bulding that claimed, \"Recently Renovated - Under New Management\". What did they renovate? The office pencil sharpener? I can't believe that I actually stayed here overnight.

Parking is easy. Air conditioning is weak, took 2 hours to cool down the room while outdoor temp is about 83F. Toilet is clean. Microwave and refrigerator were dirty and sticky. Shower has mold and loose paints. I do expect a old and outdated facility but wish it can be cleaner.

I paid in full thru Expedia while reserving the room. But the boy insist me to pay $0.61 because Expedia under pay them. This is really new to me. I didn't want to argue for just $0.61 and paid it.

My room was disgustingly dirty. The shower stall was awful. black mold, floor [peeling and discolored. The toilet seat had weird stains on it. The scent of Lysol was so powerful I wondered what they were trying to cover up. The windowsill was dirty and the window was smeared with fingerprints. The floor in the room was stick and sandy, I couldn't walk barefoot. No trash can in the bathroom. No hair dryer available. the smoke alarm was hanging by the wires, don't know if it worked or not. I don't normally complain about things, but this room was extreme in my opinion.

The floors and countertops were sticky. There were only 2 tiny bars of soap; no shampoo. The staff was friendly. The stairs were difficult to climb up/ down as there was only a thin railing on one side & the tread strips were coming apart. At least it was quiet & we were able to get a good night's sleep.

The bed was hard to sleep on. TV signal did not work for reception. The shower curtain needs more length to it to cover from wall to wall at the bottom. The two main hallways were carpeted with carpet squares. Some of the carpet squares need to be replaced. Also, the change in elevation in the main hallway was not marked on the side walls or on the carpet.

We were on the 2nd floor and there was not an elevator. And no accommodations were available to assist .As a senior citizen, it would have been good to know this ahead of time. This picture is very deceiving.. The beds seemed to be super singles instead of at least full size beds. There was no continental breakfast. There was coffee available from 6-9 am but the area was not inviting..The staff was friendly enough.

I made the reservation for Motel 6 in north Normal, IL online and no where did it indicate this was a smoking room. We checked in around 3:30 but did not go in the room. When we went into the room at midnight it was terrible. It stunk like cigarettes and moldy air. There was hair on the bathroom floor. Several outlets didn't work. The TV did not turn on. The smoke detector was painted over. There were cigarette burn holes in the bed cover. It looked like tiny blood stains on the sheets. Terrible. We did not stay in the room. When we returned in the am to request a refund we were denied by \"Andy\" (not his real name). He said it was our fault to book a smoking room, but did not care about the other problems. We want all of our money back.

Young lady at the desk at check out and in the morning was very friendly. Nice to talk to.
Facility close to I-55.
Well lit. Looks like freshly painted. Bright, not dreary like so many other facilities.
Only issue was that the bathroom light came on EVERY TIME I walked into the room. Made for a horrible nights sleep as I never turn on bathroom lights during night bathroom trips as that has the effect of totally waking me up so I can't fall back to sleep afterwards.

It is my opinion that the owners of this Motel take advantge of individuals who need an affordable place to stay. I encountered several issues. I hope this helps.
1- I needed to extend my stay. I was informed the next morning that should you need to extend your stay at this location, there is a mandatory fee that must be paid. This policy is on a memo, by the check-in window, that does NOT say IMPORTANT or READ THIS PRIOR TO CHECK IN. The memo states:

\"Should you extend your stay, via an online reservation, after you have checked in; you are required to pay an additional fee.\"

This is for the privilege of keeping your items in your room. Even though you have already paid for the additional time, the Motel Management DEMANDS this fee in cash to keep the room you're already settled in. Otherwise, you must clear out of the room and check back in after 3:00. There is NOTHING in the online reservation process that alerts you to this practice at this Motel, or any other location.
2- Wi-Fi is listed as an amenity, but after two conversations with the clerk, I learned the wifi signal on the second floor is often weak and UNUSABLE! The wifi is limited to the office. You need to leave the Motel if you need Internet access.
3- Not clean! I discovered a used toothbrush in the bathroom. It wasn't hiding.
4- No Hot Water! What more do you need to know?
5- No iron available and the in-room hair dryer did NOT WORK! No spares available.

Checkin was fine. But the room had the nastiest bathroom I’ve ever seen. What looked like vomit on the wall and outlet and mirror. The shower had been painted and there was Punic hairs and what looked like boogers on the walls. It was rusted and there was dust and dirt everywhere. There was a roach in the floor random stains on the bedsheets and bedspread. We had to ask for a second set of towels on the second night and the counter person argued with us and complained about having to walk to the janitors closet. One of the exterior doors was screwed shut which is illegal.

No cups for water in room. No tissues. No coffee maker. There is a strict NO Guest policy. We were visiting our son at ISU and had to ask permission for him just to drop our bags off with us. And she had to think about it! We reached a 4-corridor spot when searching for our room and there were no signs to guide us which long hallway of 4 led to our room. The whole place smelled of cigarette smoke. A sign taped on one door stated there’s a $500 fine if you use that door, and it was the only exit near us, so we had to walk around looking for another exit. We won’t be back.

The staff is very kind. The only issue I have every time is that they half clean the rooms. If it looks clean they’ll leave it as is. It’s always hair left in the shower, sink and on the floor. The sheets aren’t changed all the time,it looks clean but will have hair in the sheets. The bottom of the toilet doesn’t get clean. Used towels get folded and put back. Used towels still were still hung up behind the door. Used soap was still in the shower. I stay here a few days out the week because I travel for work. It’s very decent for the price of your booking online. It’s better than Super 8

You can’t expect much when you’re staying at a motel six however the entire facility smelled of smoke and every night there were people running up and down the hall, screaming and yelling from 11 PM all the way through 4 AM. Earlier in the evening, I asked the management to ask the neighbors next-door to turn the music down and she asked me if I thought it was loud and went into the same room so clearly She was part of the problem. Also, they never cleaned our room. I had to ask for extra towels and the towels looked like hand towels, not bath towel towels that you would dry off with. I made a mistake and booked for the wrong weekend and this is what I got, but I would absolutely never stay here again.

Mold on the bathroom wall. Looked like peeling paint on the shower floor and mold so did not use. The bedroom walls looked like smeared poop, bugars and unknown substance. Cockroach in the bathroom.

It was ok overall

It's a motel 6 I wasn't expecting anything over the top but the room was dirty, it was given a landlord special on so called remodeling of the rooms. It had a funky smell that of old smoke mixed with mold. The bed was comfortable and AC worked with no problem. No iron, no shampoo or conditioner. Microwave and fridge in room. Just NO

Glad we were only there overnight!!! The bathroom was gross, we actually got up in the morning and just said we’d wait to het home to shower. I used an extra shirt to dry off when I washed my face and teeth because the towels provided seemed anything but clean. The wall was peeling off inside the shower and there was visible mold. Bed appeared borderline clean. Like washed in sub-standard machine with double generic detergent.
