Room was very small but cozy. Front desk clerk was very helpful and spoke english (my Japanese is near non-existent). We needed a place to stay close to Asakusa station for one night before continuing on our trip, and this little place was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was mostly quiet, but there was a lot of food options and a Don Quijote within walking distance.

Hands down the best hostel. It's amazing how private, well organized, clean, and spacious this place is compared to other hostels. Shout out to Misaki the staff at the front desk. She was so friendly and funny lol. Will definitely be back!

First time in a capsule hotel/hostel. It was easy and convenient. It had all of the basics required including a power point, light and fan in the capsule. The bed was comfortable.

Overall a great stay especially in the semi private room , only 3 people, more space for yourself and your suitcases, things , clothes you can hang , mire privacy and locker is by your bed . The only concern I have is that how I wish the management will add one more microwave , I see people in line waiting for microwave to hear their food especially in the morning and dinner time. Also I wish there’s a dish rack, because some of the plates are still wet in the storage area, one small towel a day is not enough to dry everything.
One good note is the staff are all nice and helpful. Also I like like the fact they have lots condiments in the refrigerator you can use.

The economy cabin was a good step up from a capsule arrangement; not a bad option for a short stay. I would consider staying in it again. It would be nice if the lock box beside the bed was able to be locked though.

Overall a good stay on the cusp of busy Asakusa. The surrounding area is quiet with old time charm and you’re just 10-minutes away from the historical sites. My stay was good, but one night was awakened by guests talking loudly past midnight. I politely told them to talk in the common area (which they did). Really no blame to the staff, but I think making the rules more clear to guests might have helped. The building is on the modern side and efficient. Trash did pile up quickly, but that’s somewhat expected in shared areas.

There are plenty of showers, and a kitchen area with a fridge, stove, sinks, tiny oven, and a kettle for the tea and instant coffee they provide. Laundry was 500 total with wash, detergent, and the dryer too.
When I needed a visa printed, their printer wasn’t working but the man at the desk went to the convenient shop to print it for me and also brought me chocolate just to be nice.
Checkout was easy, and they locked up my bags for me so I could go explore. This was a really memorable hostel experience.

This is the tiniest space I have seen in all of my Japan visits staying in a double room. It is only 1m x 1m space from doorstep to bed. It is also the same space where you place your luggage!

Only negative was the noise some people generated with their mouth at the common space that did make it so hard to work and not lose focus.

Everyone has to go to the 2nd floor to take a shower.It was very cold with AC blasting. Showers are also next to the super small common area.
If you have been dreaming and hoping to do laundry for a while, forget about it. Unfortunately, there is dryer machine. So you have to walk to the coin laundry and wait or return there which is such an inconvenience.

Double Room is very small, bed a 5/10 (can feel wood underneath, VERY very stiff it hurt). Sink is very low for tall person. Quiet property, hot shower felt good, clean restrooms, everyone really nice especially for my first solo trip was very encouraging to do more. Made lots of friends!

I stayed back when it was under the ∧ hostel brand but it was a amazing stay no less. The staff were amazing (i had sent my suitcase by delivery from the airport and it hadnt arrived by the time id moved from my first hostel, one of the staff was insanely helpful and even went to fetch it from my previous hostel when it finally arrived - was about a 7min walk)and bring it back for me.

Really enjoyed staying in Plat Hostel. Very near to JR Asakusa Station. A 10 minutee walk to Ginza Metro Line, Tawaramachi Sta. and 20 minutes walk to Asakusa Line going to Narita Airport. Very convenient to shops, restaurants and tourist spots like Sensoji Temple. The only thing missing is clothes dryer. I stayed with other hostels in Japan and all of them offered a clothes dryer as most travellers staying in the hostels are always on the go. The hostel only have washer. We having a hard time to dry our clothes out the corridor because of the cold weather. Hopefully, they will invest with dryer.

The staff made the experience great! Always very welcoming, helpful and attentive. The premises were always clean and there was even a small bath tub if you wanted to soak in after a long day of walking. Pillows could be a bit more comfortable but overall fantastic. Would stay here again.

I had a great stay at Asakusa Hostel. It was very clean, all the facilities were new and the capsule bunks were comfortable. I also have to mention the friendly staff - they speak very good English and they do their best to make your stay as good as possible. For a budget traveller I would say that everything from renting towels to doing laundry was little bit more pricey than what I'm used to in other places (doing laundry is 500 yen) - but still totally affordable.

People should check the place carefully before they go. All amenities are paid. Even If you come early (check in time is 4 pm) and ask them to store your luggage they will charge luggage storage fee. Place was worse than I expected. First of all it was small there were no place to open your luggage other than the sleeping room which will definitely make other people annoyed. There was only tiny locker for very small items. And lastly first day of my stay I found the toilet seat dusty.

Everything was awesome. For my solo trip in Tokyo, this hostel provided me with the full exoerience of backpacking. The staff were super friendly and they converse well in multi languages. The other travellers staying there were also very friendly as we exchanged our experiences of our trip.

This hostel was okay. I didn't like that the \"room\" was open access for everyone in the hostel and the elevator and bathroom area was right there as well which meant it was quite noisy and not very secure. Wifi was decent. Slightly confusing to find since there are two different Asakusa stations (the hostel is not at the one most trains stop at).

The door key is a phone with an app which stopped working at one point but it got fixed the same day. Apparently, they opened it the day of the check-in. Yes, it is new. Plenty of shower rooms and sinks but their common space/lounge area is almost non-existent. Awkwardly placed table. An empty coffee maker. Expensive appliances...but there was not any complimentary tea or coffee when arrived around 5:00 p.m. and considering that day was their \"grand opening day\" lack of welcoming tea was extremely disappointing. I asked 2 staff members if it possible to use the mirror on 2nd floor after check-out, neither of them replied with a positive answer. I hope they improve in the future. If you look for a nice sitting, lounge area to use your computer,to read or relax this hostel is not for you.

Perfectly fine place. Clean. Good location, takes just a few minutes walk from Tsukuba express or the ginza line. The semi-private cubicles are of good size with a wider bed and nice fluffy duvet. Easy and nice lockable box at the bed. WiFi worked well. Kitchenette on level 2 with some essentials. Showers are also there. Bathroom / toilet on the same level. The reception was super nice and helpful.
