Heads up. This property is under a soon to be different name according to their current sign (ASU extened stay?) and is nothing like the photos. We immediately looked elsewhere. This is not a Baymont Inn like the photos show and in other searches shows up as a Howard Johnson. We were very concerned and did not feel safe at the property.

There was a shortage of all towels to include: wash clothes, bath matts, hand towels and regular bath towels. The couch and ironing board had multiple stains and the microwave would light up but not heat anything up. The bedroom AC was non operational either. The refrigerator worked well and was very clean and the living area AC worked well.

Had no Hot water the 2nd night of our stay. Told the staff at noon and came back at night and still no hot water. Had to take a cold shower. We only had 1 set of towels for 2 people. Typically you get at least 2 sets of towels in every hotel I have every been in everywhere. The bed appeared to be remade and not actually cleaned as there was hair and debris in the sheets. The price was reasonable so we didn't raise hell but no hot water, come on man do better.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Avoid it, as this property is being changed under another name so the hotel is a mess and doesn’t provide what it promises. We had stayed here before multiple times but now it was completely different. We had always returned because we had a nice experience but after this time never coming back. Room was dirty and the AC did not work properly, they did not provide enough towels; only ONE!! For two people, no facial towel nothing else. When I requested more towels they told me they didn’t have any available and to wait; they never came to bring them neither did they picked up the phone. The breakfast was horrible; only a terrible coffee, waffles and cereal; nothing else. Lastly, the shower had a hanging piece of ceiling and when I was done showering it fell off; almost hit me, this was my last straw. When I asked for a refund they told me I had to email the manager and never heard back. Never staying here again.

Room update was nice, but too much light came through the blinds, needs blackout curtains. Soooo much noise from the road, had to play sound all night to drown out the noise. The road sign \"Baymont\" was very hard to see at night and the hotel is changing names so the lighted signed on the building said \"K\" which made it hard to figure out we were at the right place.The room next door started fighting at 3 AM and didnt stop till 4ish. Overall I guess we got what we paid for, but wont return or recommend.

The room was extremely filthy and unsanitary, falling far below any reasonable standard of cleanliness or habitability.
Because of these conditions and lack of response from the front desk, we were forced to purchase brand-new bedding in order to feel somewhat comfortable staying in the room. Additionally, we purchased cookware and groceries with the intention of preparing meals during our stay; however, the stove in the room was not functional, making it impossible to use the kitchen as advertised.
We made several attempts to contact the front desk by phone to report these issues, but unfortunately received no meaningful assistance. On multiple occasions the phone line was answered and then disconnected. We also attempted to address the matter in person at the front desk and were told the issue would be resolved, but no action was taken.
As the condition of the room continued to worsen and our concerns remained unaddressed, we ultimately had no choice but to leave earlier than planned.
Given the unsanitary conditions, the lack of functioning amenities, and the failure to resolve these issues despite multiple attempts to seek assistance, I was forced to contact the parent company directly.

Complete bait and switch from the pictures and listing on hotels.com. The first room they put me in had no power, it took me 2 trips to the office for them to believe me and come look. The 2nd room had zero trash cans, tv didn’t work, 1 small towel, no coffee cups, and had 100 bags of trash outside on the concrete. The listing specifically said breakfast included, which it was not. The entire property was a mess and very neglected. It was so bad, I checked out after 2 nights and went elsewhere.

But the area felt unsafe: Two men intently exploring cars in the parking lot after dark, angry yelling and door slamming in the late evening, a drunken person yelling at length across the courtyard in the wee hours of the morning, and the smell of joints seeping into the room. Barely slept.

When you reserve a room request on at the back of the motel. We were given on right next to highway and the sound of traffic was horrible. The bedside phone did not work and considering this was a handicap accessible room this is concerning. I requested a room change and Roul was excellent. He reassigned us to the same style room at the back of the hotel and it was quiet and comfortable. Two draw backs-the bedside table lamp had a burned out bulb, the bathroom door made a lot of noise when trying to close and open it. The door to the room was difficult to close. It required a good tug to shut it. Initially I would have said the breakfast was horrible because the first day my son and I went down to eat at 6:30 and the only thing was horrible tasteless scrambled eggs and bacon so thin it was like a piece of paper, bagels and toast. The belgium waffles would have been good but it was going to take way too long to make one as that was what everyone was waiting in line to make. No yogurt, no pastry, no water dispenser. A small pitcher of Sunny D juice. The second day I was going to just make oatmeal in my room but went down to the breakfast room to get a bowl and surprise-there was yogurt, pastries, oranges, more juice and coffee along with the yucky eggs and bacon. After I collected a few items to take back to the room a very large family arrived-perhaps they had already ate all the food the day before. There was a lot of parking and the place felt safe. Decent for the price

The hotel smelled like rotten eggs, elevator was dirty, coffee machine, doors to patio and hot tub out of order.
took the staff 3 hours to bring the requested towels, room didn't get cleaned even after requested, had to flag a employee down to take trash and give us clean towels. Door to room was uneven which made it easy for bugs to enter, blanket in a non-smoking facility had a burn hole in it and linens were stained.

The rooms was unfortunately very noisy due to being next to the street. Any rooms on the west side of the building will be affected. Wish I would have known that prior to getting the room. I asked for a change, they were unable to accommodate. So sleeping was an issue. But rather close to Scottsdale and ASU, so driving around was easy.

I don't normally leave reviews, but my experience at this hotel needs to be documented so other guests will be aware.
Upon arrival at the hotel, it smelled of weed. Once I was in my room, I inspected the bed. Not only was it dirty, but the sheets had clearly not been changed from the previous guest. I reported this to the front desk, and they apologized and promptly issued me a new room. Well, the new room also had its issues. Sometime after midnight, I heard a constant drip. I assumed it was the shower or sink and tried ot ignor it for the remainder of the night. It was impossible to ignore the dripping in the morning as the water seemed to increase. The emergency sprinkler system had leaked in my SECOND room, leaving a puddle of water on the floor. I brought this to the attention of the front desk, and they apologized again. I requested a refund, either partial or total, and was informed that the manager would be in contact with me on Monday. That was two weeks ago. I have called three times and still have not heard from anyone. This hotel experience was one of the worst stays.

They were out of coffee the first day we were there. Breakfast is your standard breakfast, nothing special. There were only two towels per room, which is a problem for more than one person per room. The A/C broke down in one of the other rooms we reserved, not ideal...
In two of the other rooms, the remotes did not work.

The rooms were clean being older hotel. And is service pet friendly. If you are just needing a place to sleep, this place is okay.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This place is disgusting. There's no staff that's cleaning the rooms daily. In between guest, at best they are just making up the bed (hopefully with fresh linens, but that's even questionable), and putting towels in the room. You can clearly see nothing is being cleaned in between guest stays. The floors were nasty, the tub, nasty, mirrors, nasty, headboard, disgusting. Literally had to clean the room myself, as it was already paid for and couldn't leave without losing my money. I tried to get towels and was advised the two towels that were originally in the room had to be brought down to the front desk in order to get new \"clean\" towels as there were no staff to bring them to the room.

Latino Guy/Concierge was NOT helpful at all, very unwelcoming and down right RUDE to be honest, ad this was after several hours of driving coming in from Fresno, CA. I got to my room and immediately realized how dilapidated, dated, dirty, dingy, banged up room I was assigned to. Called the front desk to ask for a hand towel and shampoo as it was clearly missing from the bathroom; 30 minutes passed by, nothing, 45 mins. goes by, I find one of the cleaning ladies and had to go up the second floor to ask for a hand towel and shampoo and was immediately told that there is NO shampoo, nor is there hand towels available... she finds a colleague of hers and asks for the same essential amenities and low and behold, still nothing... when asked when they would have some available, I had to prompt them to say tomorrow, meaning they had no clue when they were going to get another shipment of hand towels and shampoo.
Packed up my stuff, went to the front desk to let the Latino Guy know to CANCEL my stay and he better not charge me anything due to the fact that it has been almost an hour by this time that I asked for a hand towel and shampoo to no avail... he immediately deflected the issue to the cleaning ladies and I told him it want their fault since they did NOT have the essential items to give to me, hence they never went to my room. He was NEVER apologetic, no sense of remorse, no common sense to offer any type of consolation. Basically he sucked at his job!!!

Check in was unpleasant. There were two people at the front desk. One guy of Indian descent was assisting one guest while we had a possibly Hispanic descent. Zero pleasantries, minimal eye contact and grunting as responses. Of course, not a single employee was wearing name tags. He only gave us one key card despite there being two people listed. He gave us a room for handicapped people. The bathtub was filthy and had mold. Toilet barely flushed. Very little counter space. There were no washcloths. Bedspread was stained and furniture was battered. We asked for washcloth and were told that they would be delivered to the room in 15 minutes. After two hours of no-show, we were told that there would be no towels/washcloths till the morning. Morning comes and we were told that there were no washcloths available. I HAD TO GO OUT AND BUY WASHCLOTHS! The fitness center had no disinfecting wipes and the bathrooms were locked. The employees in the breakfast section did not use clean hands when handling trash and then food. The place has so much potential. But management is not doing their job. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone,

Terrible stay for me. The people at the front desk espcially the manager. Was charging people 50.99 then 64.99 when you have a booked week reservation online. They will never honor your reservation if you want to extend at the rate you booked. And the blankets pillows, anything with a case. Has burn holes through it all. The door keye is always locking you out, making you have to go talk to the terrible managment that doesnt descalte anything. She instigates and intaginzises customers because she feels she is right. Someone needs to update the lady and tell her that her customers ate the only reason u have a job. And a 200$ deposit is not anywherre close worth lettijg them hold for this motel 6.

We experienced severe hygiene problems during our stay. Both my young child and I were bitten by bed bugs. I found black spots on the bedding and had photos as evidence. The hallway and areas near the elevator were also dirty with trash left out.

When I reported the issue, the front desk refused to provide any written confirmation and said the manager was unavailable. This was extremely upsetting and ruined our travel plans. We had to cancel our next hotel because of the bites and health concerns.

I do not recommend this property, especially for families with children.

In the past the property and staff were excellent. This last visit was deplorable. Card reader to our rooms we're not working, microwave was not working, No hot water for showering, and lastly. The elevator was not working, for the rest of stay. Had to call the fire department to exit the property. Some how I managed to still have a great Birthday Party. Anyone reading this post. Call in advance, before booking if you're interested in staying at this hotel. I'm giving you fare warning.

I typically avoid reviews in general more so negative ones, because I feel bad for the owners. I usually give them the benefit of the doubt, thinking that maybe I stayed there on a bad day.
However, I felt it was necessary to leave a review this time for the sake of anyone considering booking this place. DO NOT book here!

The pictures and profile of this place do not match the actual accommodations.
As soon as you walk in, there is an overpowering smell of cleaning products. They seem to be trying to mask other unpleasant odors by using excessive cleaners. My room was dirty; it had a hole in the wall and hair was in the sheets of another room.This place did not feel safe at all. It has a vibe that resembles a hotel used for illicit activities, especially since there is a strip club just a block away.
There were homeless individuals walking the streets, and in the corner of the hotel's parking lot, there were men drinking and smoking. I highly discourage anyone from staying here, especially if traveling with children. I did not stay here I ended up leaving this place and booking another place, the Embassy Suites by Hilton, and the price difference was only about $20 in a safe location Well worth it ! Do your research you’ll find a way better place at the same cost, trust me I regret not doing mine beforehand.

Good value and good breakfast. Pool was nice but hot tub was not working. Bed was too hard. Property needs renovation because it’s too worn. Staff was friendly.

It was a good stay although the electricity din work in the sleeping area. I did let management know but by check out time it was still not working. But our overall staying experience was great
