We checked out 2 hours after checking in. I know this is not a fancy place but half the rooms had someone standing in the doorway smoking something, not all legal! The first room we got smelled of cigarettes. The next room they gave me had someone else in it and the third room started out better until we turned on the air and proceeded to enjoy the substances being smoked outside the next room being pulled into our room through the air conditioner. There was no way we could stand that smell all night. They literally had signs inside the door to engage all the locks for your own safety. Would not recommend!

I'm not sure HOW these properties are rated,

Our check in was fine, we parked in back, there was 2 cars with people living in them, ok sketchy but not unheard of, the pool area was disgusting, not at all like the pictures show,

Our door looked like it has been kicked in, they put a kick plate that wasn't properly secured, door hung ajar.

Bathroom toilet was leaking around the wax ring ,

Was awoken at 2am by people arguing over whatever, there was a couple fellas DIGGING through the trash cans.....

Topper of this place, the roaches.

Yup, we had roaches on our bathroom counter and the tv stand. Beds are hard as rocks, just sleep on the floor with the bugs.

This place is DISGUSTING.

I came in expecting to receive the room i reserved but was hit with bs from the front desk person! Proceeds to tell me that my room was sold to someone else and the only available room was a smoking room i was very upset. But because i had already checked in and had no were else to go i had no choice but to suffer the three nights in a horrible smoking room. Also the neighbors are rude letting there kids run up and down the halls like it was an elementary school. I never complain but i felt robbed by this place.

There was a dirty sock in our room that housekeeping left there was a huge paper airplane that was left behind the toilet wouldn't flush right and the sinkcfaucet would spray every where but the beds were comfortable and it was quiet

I've been coming here the last 2 years at least 4 or 5 times a month I rented a room yesterday paid the 20.00 early check in total of 96.00 The air was not cooling But the worst I had only 1 towel no wash cloths my boyfriend checked in with me went to office the staff told me I get only 1 towel that was at 12 noon and to come back at 5 or 6. My room key often didn't work and I was told that was true of all the rooms because it was an old building. It was very basic accommodations and priced accordingly. I didn't need or want a lot of frills. I got what I wanted but could have used a little more reliable door lock.

Blood in bathroom. I am nurse, this is a bio hazzard. People were yelling and banging on the doors all night. Many dogs barking all night. People hanging in halls smoking dope . No blankets. Air conditioner leaked water producing poodles by the bed. Person at front desk could not send anyone to fix problems. I think this is where prostitutes and drug dealers hang out. Worst night ever. I should not have been expected to pay

I coldnt stay in the room. I paid for a room with AC but when I arrived I was told there was no room with AC available. There was no fan and the window only partially opened. Given it was 90 degrees that day the room was uninhabitable and I could no stay. I immediately checked out and I’m still waiting for a refund.

The bed in our room was extremely old and deteriorated. Worst bed in a motel or hotel I have ever seen. After getting very little sleep we got up early the next morning and found a room at a different hotel. We checked out a day early and was never asked why.

The room was NOT secure - there was a gap between the edge of the door and the door frame ( about 1/2 to 1" wide).
The metal plate on the door holding the locks had loose screws holding it to the wooden door. (room 328).

We booked this specific location as it was close to work because we worked for Arizona bike week. I have stayed at Motel 6 before and understand that it’s not a top-tier place so I take that into consideration, however this room was extremely dirty with boogers and blood on the walls. The floors were so bad that just stepping on the floors with bare feet, made our feet turn black. We also chose this location for it being advertised that it had a pool. upon check-in we were told we could go around back and use the pool but when we got to the pool area, it was padlocked shut. When we asked the front desk worker why this was he was very confused and had no idea why. The next day we asked the new front desk person if the pool would be open and they said it was closed for maintenance until further notice. We also had to reactivate our room keys every day for the duration of our stay, as every day that we left for work and came back to gain access to our room, None of our key cards were active. Our room smelled entirely of smoke and made our clothes smell bad. I understand that it may have been a smoking room in the past, but it is still smelling of intense smoke. We are completely unhappy with our stay, but had nowhere else that we could go with short notice as most places were booked with people in town for bike week and anything we could find was charging an arm and a leg due to being last minute. The only thing that was semi OK was the friendliness of the employees.

Room was as expected for $59/night. Old basic, holes in the wall and not a single wall hanging. But the bed was comfortable and clean water was hot and there were clean towels. TV with pretty good options too. Our room was directly across from the soda machine in a dark foyer but it was quiet. We asked the front desk guy if there was someplace we could walk to eat and he said he wasn't from around here...well google maps was more help. There is a good sports bar a few blocks one way, a Dennys the other way and fast food and starbucks around the corner. Not sure how he gets to work without seeing what buildings are 3 blocks around him. Front desk guy also pointed us to our room which was right behind the office, his shrugged details had us walk around the entire building. He needs a 15 minute customer service lesson. We left for the airport at 5am and felt safe in the area walking to Dennys to get coffee before catching our Uber. The neighborhood was very clean and quiet.

The photos give you a false impression. The property is a motel, and you should expect motel quality. The room had a moldy smell, house cleaning doesn't touch your room, The towels have stains on them, the bathroom had black mold specs on the wall. It was a motel experience.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Shower curtain was stuck together. Bed sheets while washed, had stains from prior customers. Found hairs on tub as well as on floor. TV needed replacement. Few small towels, no toiletries. The pictures from the site are when the hotel first opened- need to be updated. Pool too cold, odd drops from 4 ft to 5 ft drop, little seating. You will hear people outside yelling across the parking lot to each other instead of taking 20 steps to talk a normal voice level. The only plus are the nice staff. Seems like the staff is great, but the ownership does not care about upkeeping the hotel. Decent location, but this hotel should not be in business.

Room was rather dirty, including linens, which were very worn. Tried to arrange for my son to check in earlier than me (he arrived around check in time) and I arrived after 1am. They would not budge on this even with advanced planning. They did “keep the light on” since I wasn’t able to check in until well after midnight. I get it. It’s a Motel 6. We were only there for about 9 hours. Just could’ve been in better repair and much cleaner. Broken furniture and not all the outlets worked.

Overall it was a pleasant stay the tv channels were a little choppy in signal but still was able to watch tv. The pool was nice and clean small but it was still a nice cool off activity for the Phoenix heat.

4 cops out front when I arrived on site. Was provided a room next to stairs. Constantly disturbed my sleep, some of the worst I’ve ever had. I went to the office everyday trying to change rooms, staff always said to comeback the next day. No morning coffee, people partying most hours of the night. The room was not clean, originally booked a non smoking room because that's what was available upon arrival my fiancé was asked if we wanted non smoking or a smoking room, he opted for the smoking because we do occasionally smoke, but I wish he would have just done non smoking. The room was nothing like the pictures, it had not been renovated or anything. There was what looked like bullet holes in the wall. Yes could we have asked for a different room, but we were so tired from a long day and we were only staying one night and then traveling back home to Flagstaff we like this will work because we were just sleeping there. I had just got a new chest tattoo and need to wash it off, when I went to use the sink in bathroom area I let the water run for a good 10 mins and the water never got hot or even warm. So I checked the shower, it had hot water so I just took a quick shower to wash it off, but the shower curtain was dirt and the water pressure was horrible. Overall I was very disappointed because I feel like I was mislead by the photos. We didn't get a chance to say anything this morning at check out because we were running late to get back home. I have stayed at plenty of motel 6 hotels and have never stayed in one this dirt. Oh did I mention we had a double bed room and one of the beds had what looked like a few nats on it so we slept on the other one wow, do the mattresses need an upgrade. I feel like they renovated the non smoking rooms and said screw the smoking rooms.

Every time I left the room the key would not work to get back in, hato have the key reprogramed 9 times during my stay. Had to wait upto 1/2 hour to get key reprogramed. Multiple other people were having the same issue. Was told key are reset for security after each use. COULD NOT GO TO iCE MACHINE WITHOUT HAVING KEY REPROGRAMED TO GET BACK INTOTHE ROOM.

Parking and check in were pretty easy, staff was very friendly. Our room didn't have fridge or microwave (you can select rooms with that option) Sink water went down very slowly.
Only issue was from other guests, not the hotel itself. Playing very loud music (after 10:00 PM) from their motorcycles, while the motorcycle was running. They finally left but came back around 2-2:30 in the morning, revving the engines.
Overall it's ok if you're only sleeping there. I probably wouldn't spend more than one night at a time. But I've found most motel 6's are the same. I would stay again.

I found a pair of dirty socks in my bed that were left by the previous guest which tells me that my sheets had not been changed since the last person slept there.
When I showed the socks to the person at the front desk she offered to give me some clean sheets that I could change myself.
The manager sat stone faced listening to my complaint without speaking oup or even making eye contact.
This property is without a dought the worst , most run down place I have ever stayed in my life.
Motel 6 not only leaves the lights on for you but also leaves the last guests dirty socks in your bed for you as well.

This motel is a great option if you need a cost-effective place to rest your head for the night. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Amenities are pretty limited. I did have some safety concerns as there were people loitering in the parking lot in the afternoon, and there were signs reminding guests to lock their doors at night. Again, it’s fairly priced if you just need a place to rest your head for a night.

Motel 6 franchisee auditing department should not qualify this property under Motel 6 brand.
Also, Expedia should not list this hotel in your sales website. It does not bring Expedia positive image.
Towel rack in bathroom broken ( looks like for a long time), sink clog , faucet water jet flow like sprinkler, can not be adjusted.
I will try AirBNB next time instead of this “ motel 6”.

The bathroom had hair all over the floor and in the shower curtain. The floor of the tub was slimy. And two of our towels had rust stains on them.
Towels are thin and hardly large enough for an adult to use. When I requested more, I was told that they were out of towels.
Other guests (?) attempted to open our door several times in the night while loudly running and yelling up and down the hallways, terrifying my child. When I called the front desk, I was told that we should just call the cops.
I attempted to speak with someone at the front desk about these concerns during our stay but they either didn't answer the calls or were unhelpful.
Will NOT be staying here again.

Best I can say is it wasn't terrible. Beds were less than comfortable. Mattresses needed to be replaced. Pillows were small and without much substance. Bathroom faucet sprayed water in every direction except the sink. Entry door was very hard to operate due to it being pried open at some point and not repaired well.

This Motel 6 has an elevator, which was really nice. It would have been nicer if we were closer to it. We were on the back side of the motel. The room was small and had 2 double beds. The bathroom was very small. It is located near the airport, but was not noisy at all. The grass had sticktites and our little dog picked up a bunch of them. We started using the gravel areas instead. As usual, this Motel 6 had very small, thin towels. The air conditioner worked very well, which was nice.

We had a great deal of help on checking in from a marvelous staff when one of our party arrived many hours ahead of the other due to travel delays. Special thanks to Jose, Tiffany, and the person on desk the night of March 18.

It is a basic motel, no frills, but that was perfect for our needs including the laundry. Didn't get to use the pool, but I bet others were in the heat wave.

The hotel is not nearly as nice as they make it look in the pictures, but that isn't a surprise. We were just looking for an easy stay for a quick overnight and thought that this would be acceptable. Boy, were we wrong! The room was dirty, one of the beds didn't have a blanket, the room AC was noisy (which wasn't all bad - It at least drowned out the noise from outside that came through the very thin walls).

Worst of all, they put us in a smoking room when we had very specifically reserved a non-smoking room. When we asked at the front desk, they shrugged at us and told us there was nothing that they could do. It was too late for us to leave and find another hotel (which we regretted later!), so we just dealt with it. Big mistake. Everything smelled like smoke - All the clothes we had on, everything in the suitcases, backpacks and US. We had to take time out of vacation later to do laundry just to get useable clothes.

Never, ever, ever again will I stay in a place like this.

Motel 6 isn't some fancy luxury place. However, the price is right. We were in Phoenix for my sister's funeral and had spent a lot of money on other things. We just needed a place to rest and this place worked. You won't find luxury but you will find a kjnd and considerate staff, a decent bed to rest, TV, good internet service, and the location makes it easy to get to the airport or access freeway system. I felt safe and comfortable there and would recommend it to others who don't want to pay the big bucks for a hotel with amenities that you don't have time to use anyway.

Wow.. I don’t even know where to start. I knew I was staying at a motel 6 so I never had high expectations. But as soon as we walked in there was an extremely smell of cigarette that at this time my nose is still hurting from the strong smell. As if that was not bad enough both beds had huge cigarette burn holes on them and were very dirty. I was thankful I had a couple of covers in my car that we could use. Then we went to take a shower and there was dirt or sand of some kind in the tub. I understand that we didn’t pay much for one night but it’s no excuse for a room to look in that condition. I would never ever stay there. I will pay the extra hundred dollars for at least no cigarette smell and clean sheets. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
