Perfect Location

The view out our window of Wat Arun and the Chao Phraya River was beautiful. Having breakfast each morning outside by the river was lovely. The staff was great and made our stay very comfortable. So much to see including The Grand Palace was in walking distance!

왓아룬 뷰는 나무가 가려져있어 아쉬웠으나 발코니가 있어 괜찮았다.
2층이라 어렵지않게 이동할 수 있었다.
열쇠를 가지고 다녀야하는 불편함이 있고, 방문이 너무 낡아서 문이 잠겨있어도 꽝! 발로차면 열릴 것 같았다.(물론 그런일은 없고 그런일이 있더라도 방음이 잘 안돼서 옆집, 윗집, 아랫집에서도 달려와줄 것 같다)
모기가 많아 모기랑 눈치싸움하면서 방에 잽싸게 들어가야함.
기본적으로 차려진 조식은 별로 없으나 계란요리, 와플 등 이외에도 팟타이(Pad Thai), 볶음밥(Fried rice) 를 선택해서 요리해서 가져다 주는데 아침부터 배불리 먹었음. 맛있었다!
그리고 거기 초코 크로와상같은 빵이 있는데 그것도 입에서 살살녹음.
왕궁, 왓포, 왓아룬 등이랑 굉장히 가깝고 유명한 맛집들이 주변에 있어 편하고 좋았다.

Hotel was clean and we had a gorgeous view from our balcony. It was a little hard to find for the taxi but they called and the person at desk gave directions. It’s down a narrow alley but the room was clean and breakfast was decent. The bed was a little hard. A/C worked great

I really enjoyed my stay at Sala Arun. A small hotel with a small restaurant and roof top bar. A perfect location for sightseeing, Wat Po and the Royal Palace are a very short walk away. The view from my room of the river and Wat Arun was worth every penny. I travelled on my own and felt very safe here. I would definitely visit again.

The hotel is close to many attractions. The breakfast was filling and the view of Wat Arun while eating was peaceful. The staff at Sala Arun are simply amazing. I forgot a package behind and they helped me with every step to retrieve the package. I am forever in their debt.

This hotel was very cute! We enjoyed being so close to the temples because that’s what we were there for. The view of Wat Arun was awesome from our room. Negatives the bed was very hard and there is no lift. So staying on the top floor comes with a price, walking up those stairs! Also most stores and cafes close very early near by.

\"WAT\" a view!!

Stayed in Lanna room with balcony with view to Wat Arun....absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! The view alone makes this hotel an excellent choice. The bed pretty firm, but they are all firm around Thailand. The kids at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. One of them even gave me some of his food so I could taste it...lovely! Breakfast was good with the regular stuff, eggs, bread, fruit, coffee and with a view. The rooftop bar has the lovely view, but that is it....their drinks need improvement and they are not cheap. Overall a wonderful stay.

Lovely small hotel.

Lovely little hotel, friendly and efficient staff. Decent breakfast choice and stunning views. The rooftop bar was a delight with good service. If you want to be close to the Grand Palace and Way Pho this would be ideal, being on the river the air seems to be fresher and cleaner than in some parts of the city. Only downside is no handy links to MRT and Skytrain systems.

Great location near Grand palace the staff are superb and the room is very nice ...comfy bed and large bathroom, breakkfast is ok the only fault is the noise of visitors in the roof top bar which has excellent views of Wat Arun tramping noisily up down the stairs until midnight
I would definately stay again

We had a terrific time at sala Arun. The unbeatable view of the temple from your bed was perfect for our first time. Staff are friendly. Location is perfect to visit the temples. I highly recommend.

The location opposite Wat Arun is great. But it’s quite an old property in the neighbourhood of some really grubby and broken down structures and dilapidated buildings. However the asking room rate does reflect the neighbourhood. I had to frame all my photos of the Wat Arun to avoid the nearby structures so I’ve not shared any.

Great location and the rooms are lovely. However THERE IS NO LIFT. I managed to get a 2nd floor room for the 1st night but had to change to the 4th floor for the second. The 2nd floor room was lovely. Very well appointed and with a small balcony looking over the river. The 4th floor was more spartan with no balcony. The worst problem though was noise from the rooftop bar just overhead. Avoid the 4th floor . NB the area is humming during the day but shut in the evening. Few dinner options.

The hotel was in a great location on the river with beautiful views! Be mindful that there isn’t an elevator, so if you’re staying on the 4th floor, it’s a long way up. There’s also a rooftop bar (which has amazing views), but it’s quite noisy if you’re staying on the fourth floor right below the bar.

Great View from the room of Wat Arun

Getting up in the morning and looking at Wat Arun was amazing from my room while having my coffee in the balcony.. Breakfast has few choices including North American and local food. I would suggest to order Pad Thai with Scramble eggs. Walking distance to ALL the sites you would want to visit so it was a good choice.

Amazing view of Wat Arun

The hotel is located in the heart of Bangkok. Almost all the famous tourist attractions are located within walking distance from the hotel (Wat Pho, The Grand Palace, Khaosan Road, Yaowarat aka Chinatown). And top it all off from the balcony of the Hotel Room there was a breath taking view of the Chao Phraya River and the iconic Temple Wat Arun. Now the only downside to staying at this hotel was that not many taxi drivers heard of it or new where it was located. But that was no big deal cause the hotel is literally right across the street from Wat Pho which every taxi driver in Bangkok knows how to get to! So if you decide to stay at this hotel which I would recommend just ask the taxi drivers to take you to Wat Pho and you will really enjoy your stay in Bangkok!!!

Hotel is under renovation (which was a bit annoying) and difficult to find as tucked away. they directed us to one of their sister hotels called Arun the deck. This hotel was okish, rooms are a bit tired, there is a humidity smell and airconditioning is very laut. Staff is very friendly but they speak little english making communication difficult. The view is great but the Wat arun temple is under renovation so is not lit at all. Overall the hotel is ok if you just need a place to sleep and are not planning to spend to much time in the hotel.

Brilliant location for the Grand Palace. Breakfasts were very good and on the 2 days we were on early trips the staff organised packed breakfasts. We had choices of sandwiches, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Bottled water was supplied every day for tea/coffee and extra put in the fridge to drink. Only tiny thing but the face flannels disappeared one day and a dirty plate and glass were left in the bathroom but not a big deal really. Access to the hotel looks a bit uninviting as it is at the end of a narrow street which the backs of shops are but again not really a big issue. The roof top bar had great views but was not run by the hotel and so was locked until late afternoon so could not take photos of the Temple of Dawn in the day but managed to take some from the dining area. Only had one dinner there which was ok.

ワットアルンの眺望は抜群だけど・・

チャオプラヤー川沿いでワットアルンの目の前に建つホテルということで３泊しました。確かに部屋から見るワットアルンの眺望は抜群！朝日を浴びる姿や夕日に染まるワットアルンを部屋やバルコニーからたっぷり眺められるのは贅沢の一言。もちとん夜のライトアップも素晴らしいです。その上、ワットポーもホテルのすぐ裏。また2019年秋にMRTブルーラインが延伸したおかげで、最寄駅サナームチャイ駅からも徒歩10分とアクセスも便利です。近年この周辺は開発が進み、おしゃれなレストランやカフェが進出しているのも嬉しい点です。
ただ、このホテルはそれに取り残されたように薄暗い路地の先にあり、木造のため老朽化が激しく、いかにもしょぼい安宿の雰囲気。部屋にこれといって特徴はなく、バスタブはなしでシャワーのみ。ホテルのレセプションは、昔のタバコ屋みたいなスペースに１人が常駐しているだけで、セキュリティに一抹の不安あり。それでもスタッフは気さくで親切で好感は持てます。朝食はホテル1階のレストランで、バルコニー席からワットアルンを見ながらいただけます。しかし種類が少なすぎ。コーヒーとクロワッサンは美味しいけど、オーダーで作ってもらう卵料理やパンケーキやワッフルはイマイチです。5Fにはルーフトップバー\"Eagle Nest\"があり、ここからのワットアルンの眺めも素晴らしいですが、そこに行く階段がホテルと共用なので、部屋にいるとお客さんの足音がよく聞こえます。こじんまりとした古いB&Bタイプのなので、居心地はあまり良くありませんが、それを上回る眺望の良さはあるので、割り切って泊まるのもアリかと思います。

View and the location was good. However, when I arrived at the hotel at 2:00 A.M. I had to call the staff because the front desk was empty, and the staff didn't pick up the phone until I call him for 3 times. I was afraid I could sleep in the street that night. Furthermore, because of the rooftop and the thin wall, there were loud noises all night. I can't recommend this hotel unless you should see the Wat Arun through the window.

전체적인 서비스는 만족스러웠으나, 조식을 먹는데 옆에서 눈치주듯 계속 빗자루질을 합니다. 시간은 9시 쯤이었고, 조식마감은 10시였습니다. 왓아룬 뷰는 기대대로 너무나 좋았습니다.

뷰만 보고 간 호텔인데 뷰 진짜 최고 ㅠㅠ 밤에는 무슨 액자 보고있는거 같았어요. 방도 넓고 화장실도 넓고 에어컨도 잘 나와서 좋았습니다.
단점은 루프탑이랑 주변 방에서 소음이 많이 들려요. 소리에 예민하신분들은 비추.. 문 쾅쾅 거리는거랑 뭔지모를 쿵쿵 소리가 계속 들려오고 문이 열쇠키로 열고 잠그는 문이라서 안잠궈두면 열리더라구요 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

왓아룬뷰만으로도 완벽한 숙소

왓아룬뷰 하나 보고 예약한 호텔이었는데 전체적으로 만족이에요!
직원들도 친절했고 엘리베이터가 없긴하지만 직원분들이 케리어 올려다 주셨어요.
냉장고가 시원하지 않았고 조식은 그저그랬어요. 하지만 아침저녁으로 보는 왓아룬 뷰는예술! 하루종일 타임랩스 찍었는데 대박 영상 얻었어요 ㅎㅎ

Approahing alley to the hotel is not so clean or beautifull and it's very hard to imagine a nice hotel. But my room on second floor with a balcony has a fantastic view of the Wat Aroon cross the river. I can walk to the grand palace and to the Wats. I never fotget it all my life.

구시가지쪽이라 확실히 시내보다는 많이 낡았습니다. 강 바로 옆이라.. 배 지나가는 소리가 무지 시끄러워서 잠을 잘 못자요. 엘레베이타도 없어서 무거운 캐리어 옮기기도 힘들고 .. 호텔 찾아가는 입구는 늦은밤엔 쫌 무섭습니다. 거리에 바퀴벌레도 많고 ㅜㅜ 벌레는 생각보다 없었어요 뷰하나만 딱 좋고 지내고 생활하기엔 낡은 부띠끄 호텔입니다

いい感じにくたびれた建物ですが、清潔です。
風呂の排水が匂うのと、ルーフトップバーへ上がる螺旋階段が狭くて急で少し危険。
タクシーで向かうとき場所を指示しづらいので、北にあるターティアン市場と指示するとすんなりたどり着けます。

Fik lovet et værelse med balkon hos Expedia. Men fik det mest usle værelse. Næsten ingen vand kom ud af bruseren. Fik at vide på hotellet, at man skulle bestille ved dem, da de dårlige værelser er Expedia. Endvidere dårligt at skulle betale 300 bath som er ca 60 kr for en øl på deres bar

Leider kein kühlschrank,nur cooler der lauwarme getränke schafft....
Ein stück seife zum händewaschen ist auch nicht zu bekommen..
Beides mehrfach bemängelt,ausser lächeln nix passiert.
Rooftop bar nur ab 5pm und dann immer sofort total überfüllt von touristen die nicht im hotel wohnen....
Keinerlei raucherbereich,obwohl angegeben,nur auf der strasse....

시설이 아기자기하고, 직원들이 모두 친절하고, 뷰가 너무 멋진 곳!!
리셉션, 루프탑바, 조식레스토랑 직원 모두 친절해서 너무 좋았습니다. 루프탑에 프리드링크 마시러 올라간건데도 자리가 없어서 얘기하니까 한시간후에 오면 자리 마련해주겠다고 해서 편하게 뷰 볼 수 있었어요!

숙소 내 시설도 필요한 것들 다 있고, 아 비누는 없어서 조금 아쉬웠어요. 세면데 수압은 쎈데 샤워실 수압이 낮고 따뜻한 물이 나오다 말다.. 만 빼면 좋아요!

왓포, 왕궁과 가까워서 구경다니기 좋았고,
숙소 바로 앞 골목 homecafe 여기 로컬식당 음식이 너무 맛있어서 더 좋은 기억으로 남아요!

조식이 먹잘 것 없는 뷰페가 아닌, 작은 부페코너와 원하는 음식으로 요리해서 주시는 메인이 있어 든든히 먹을 수 있어 좋았습니다.

4층인데 엘레베이터가 없어서 아쉬웠지만,

종합적으로 보자면 친절함, 아늑함, 뷰 때문에 다시 갈 의향 100.

왓아룬을 보며 잠드는 로맨틱한 호텔

내 방에서 왓아룬이 정면에 보인다.
매우 로맨틱하지만 강가 바로 앞이라 습하며
새벽내내 강을 지나가는 화물선 소리가
엄청나게 시끄럽다. 예민한 사람이라면 한숨도
못잘것이다. 천장에 쥐가 돌아다니는 소리가 난다. 호텔 내부는 청결하고 직원도 정말 친절하다. 엘레베이터가 없다. 모든 불편을 감수하고도 왓 아룬이 보이는 방이라서 하루정도는 괜찮다.
