It was a very nice hotel, and specially the staff always ready to help even after the stay. Only 2 issues observed: 1) the mattress was so “soft” (like a “water bed”) that made my waist a bit painful during the stay; 2) the breakfast time 8:30/10:30 could extend from 7:30 maybe? Otherwise it was hard to have it (or “peacefully”) before heading to tours of the day

We enjoyed our stay at Peruna Cave Hotel and the property itself was beautiful. However, I would strongly advise future guests to compare prices before purchasing tours and excursions through the hotel reception.

Upon arrival, we were strongly encouraged to pay for tours in cash. We found this unusual, especially given the high prices being charged.

We booked a hot air balloon ride through the hotel and were charged 500 euros for two people. During the flight, we spoke with six other passengers in the same balloon basket, and every one of them had paid approximately 70 euros per person for the same experience. We also checked prices with several local tour providers and found that even the most expensive balloon rides were around 70 euros per person.

I requested a receipt from the hotel reception on two separate occasions and was ignored. I later sent an email requesting a receipt and never received any response.

The same thing happened with the Red Tour. The hotel offered it for 230 euros, but we purchased what appeared to be the exact same tour elsewhere for 76 euros.

My disappointment is not only related to the prices, but also to the lack of transparency and the failure to provide receipts when requested. Future guests should compare prices with local providers before booking excursions through the hotel.

The hotel itself was pleasant, but our experience with tour bookings was very disappointing

I've been in Cappadocia 3 times and I can definitely say that Peruna Cave has been the best hotel I've stayed. The staff is amazingly helpful and charming, I stayed with my wife and 1 year old son, they loved the place and the viw from the terrace is the best for balloons watching.

The room was super clean and the bed was so comfy my family was very happy, the food and breakfast was the best we had in turkey so that was a plus.

If you're planning to go to cappadocia with family this is the best hotel you'll find, super close to the city center and they're all amazing people.

This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel both night and day with views in every direction. The rooftop is a perfect spot to watch the hot air balloons at sunrise or share a bottle of wine at sunset. The rooms are unique and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay special. They made us a bagged breakfast for the morning we departed since we missed breakfast due to an early departure. They also helped us book a camel ride at the last minute. Definitely would return to Peruna Cave in a heartbeat!!

Peruna Cave Hotel is a beautiful place to stay in Göreme.
We stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are very comfortable, huge bathroom with shower.
King size bed, TV, tea/coffee making facilities and fridge.
The Turkish breakfast platter served in the restaurant was amazing, such a lovely, fresh selection of cheeses, salad vegetables, olives, fresh fruit and pastries,teas, coffee and fruit juice.

I’ve traveled all over the world, and Peruna Cave Hotel is truly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
Everything was perfect: the room, the food, the amenities, the breakfast, and the overall atmosphere. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and such a unique experience. Breakfast was incredible every morning, and every detail of the hotel made our stay feel special.
But what truly sets Peruna Cave Hotel apart is the people. The staff were warm, kind, welcoming, and genuinely wonderful. They made us feel cared for from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond in every way. Their hospitality is what made this stay unforgettable.
I cannot recommend Peruna Cave Hotel enough. It is a beautiful hotel with amazing food, lovely rooms, great amenities, and the most incredible staff. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay at Peruna Cave hotel. Staff was extremely warm and helpful from check in and through check out. Sayit set up the tour reservations, shuttle service and even a last minute balloon flight which we were so grateful for. Kudos to him!

Hotel is located close to the city center which made it easy to shop and dine.

This hotel exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the stay. Comfy beds, hot showers in winter, and superb restaurant, when you arrive jetlagged. When you're
feeling more adventuresome, walk a few minutes to craft markets and dozens of restaurants. Complimentary breakfast of cheese, fruit, eggs etc. prepares you for a day of hiking and touring nearby sights. Staff is friendly and very helpful, even arranging a box breakfast for our early departure. Peruna is a magical cave hotel experience!

I stayed at Peruna Cave Hotel for about 5 days and as a solo female traveller I can honestly say I felt like I always had support and assistance at every point. I want to highlight Seyit and Garan who both went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, booked for activities and also shuttled to and from the airport. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I know there are many cave hotels in the area but you cannot replace genuine attention to all your needs. The room was perfect, traditional cave experience with unique decor and a very comfortable bed. The location is perfect, a left turn takes you to all the attractions of Goreme like a main street with restaurants, souvenir shops, etc. Also a short walk will lead to the bus station which can take you to nearby towns like Nesevhir and Avanos and also there are a group of ATMs nearby. As mentioned earlier, they can assist with booking tours like red/green tour and balloon rides. I recommend Peruna as a premium option for visit to Cappedocia!

The location is perfect — tucked away on a quiet street, just a short walk from the center of Göreme. We had easy access to restaurants, shops, and tour pick-up points, but still enjoyed total peace and stunning panoramic views of the valley.

What really made our stay special was the hospitality. The staff at Peru A Cave Hotel are some of the friendliest and most helpful people we met on our entire journey. They helped us book hot air balloon rides, ATV tours, and even arranged airport transfers with ease and care. You can feel they truly want you to have an unforgettable experience.

Every morning, we looked forward to the delicious Turkish breakfast — fresh fruits, cheeses, breads, olives, eggs, and strong local tea — served on a lovely terrace with breathtaking views. Watching the hot air balloons rise at sunrise from the rooftop is something we’ll never forget.

If you’re visiting Cappadocia and want to stay somewhere that combines comfort, character, and heartfelt service, Peru A Cave Hotel is the perfect choice.

Fantastic stay. I have stayed in hotels, weekly, for 35 years. This was one of the best. Exceptionally clean. Everything that is needed was in the room (except the safe which was there but not bolted down!). Super quick service at breakfast. Perfect location - and we always got picked up/dropped off 1st or 2nd on the tour buses due to our position in the town. Cannot rate the hotel highly enough

Breakfast was delicious. It's a set meal with the hot food varying slightly each day.
Staff are super lovely and are very helpful.

The only downfall of this is that they spend 30 minutes at check-in giving you all the information but there isn't a chair to sit in so you have to stand the whole time talking down at them while they sit. And if there are multiple guests checking in then you have to wait out in the heat like we did with no offer of water. It would have been much better if they showed each guest to their room so they can rest first and then guests return to reception at a later time for information and tour booking etc.

Also their tours costs quite a bit more than other places (they offer the exact same one with same inclusions) so do a bit of shopping around.

The staff was perfect. Warm greatings, excellent help with putting together our own tour agenda and they arranged the ballon flight for us. They even made us box breakfasts to take with us when we left early on our final day before the regular breakfast. The restaurant breakfast was a complete turkish breakfast and outstanding.. Peruna Cave Hotel is the perfect place to stay in Goreme! The staff are super friendly especially Sayed (front desk). He was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel special from the moment we arrived to the moment we left! He helped me book my private transfers to/from airport and our hot air balloon excursion with a very reliable company (Nazar Balloons). The location was very walkable and the breakfast was AMAZING! We stayed in room 103 which has a king and a twin. It is all rock from walls to ceiling - carved into the root of a fairy chimney. Staff was gracious. The breakfast is excellent. Tuma Restaurant served amazing dinner as well - best köfte of our trip. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved staying at Peruna. Uniquely designed, beautiful rooms, nice restaurant with great view on top.
We could see the balloons floating above the town from our room every morning, what a stunning view. The hotel was only 15 min walking distance to the Sunset view point.
Want to express my gratitude to the staff members Segit and Zulal, they were exceptionally kind and helpful. Helped with booking balloon rides and tours, helped with luggage and other requests. Service was exceptional.
Breakfast was nice, all you need and the view from the dining area was priceless :)
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again.

Dining room serves local famous wine. If you like to arrange tours, trust with Mr. Sa’id who offers and explains different options. We stayed in room 102 that was a 6000 years old cave updated to 21th century amenities. Clean beds and large jacuzzi. Highly recommend it and will consider staying again in the next visit.

My friend and I had a fantastic stay at Peruna Cave Hotel. All the staff and the owner were extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable and hassle-free, even arranging all of our tours for us. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, and we loved spending time in the outdoor lounge area, relaxing and taking in the scenery and perfect weather. The hotel’s central location was a big plus, with all the shops and restaurants just a short walking distance away. We didn’t like how we were charged 300 euros per person in cash! For the ballon ride. When everywhere else the price is 95-100 euros per person. Reason, the hotel said because of safety and the pilots experience. But they are hundreds of balloons at the same time.

Garden checked us in . And gave us an upgrade on arrival . He arranged the best Turkish night entertainment and food. The next day he arranged taxi to airport. The food at the restaurant in the evening is the best in town . We stayed three nights at mithra cabs hotel .. although the view is amazing there.. the food was horrible at mithra cave hotel , and our cave room smelled like mold and I could not breath . This place is excellent. The rooms are well furnished and the beds incredibly comfortable. It has five amazing terraces with great views of the city. In the mornings the hot air balloons drop down immediately in front of the terraces so close you could almost jump on. The staff at Peruna is the best. They are attentive and professional and always ready to help. In addition, they will make your arrangements for you at no additional charge and good rates—easier than dealing with local vendors. The breakfast is fantastic and prepared just for you—not a buffet. The restaurant onsite is widely considered one of the best in town. I highly recommend Peruna!

The owner and staff of Peruna Cava were excellent in giving us information for sightseeing and explained all our questions. The hotel itself is magical, and we enjoyed the fairy chimneys and cave rooms. Breakfast was huge, and I think the owner can do buffet style instead of individual Turkish breakfast spread per person. I felt bad wasting food. This is a great stay, and I would highly recommend staying in Peruna Cava.

I loved my stay at Peruna Cave and hotel. The staff is wonderful and helped manage my trip activities so well! The timing and everything was wonderful. Thanks for an amazing stay!
