Don’t trust the goods reviews.

I booked this “Cave” Hotel because of the majority of reviews, however, I found the property very dated, a lot of mould in the bath, in the silicon around the basin, in the walls, honestly I suggest to look for newers property despite that don’t have many reviews. Also our room wasn’t a cave so very disappointing. Good location, nice staff and breakfast ok.

The hotel was amazing, very clean and maintained well. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful, they made sure that we are we have all the information to explore all things known while you are in Cappa. The hotel has nice area to site outside and relax, walkable distance to the main bazar and top view point. Highly recommended.

This hotel is up a her hill so be ready! The most impressive aspect of this hotel was the incredible breakfast! So many offerings; it was beautiful. Located on the third floor (of stairs) it had beautiful views of goreme and The fairy chimney surrounding it. The room itself was rather dark since it was in a cave. There bathroom was large and has a jacuzzi type tub which was very difficult to get into and out of! Overall a lovely place to stay.

The hotel was nice, located a bit at the edge of town but very close to all the restaurants and other amenities. Cappadocia is very touristy, so the staff know what they are doing. Breakfast was a bit meager but acceptable. Recommend.

Authentic cave room experience

I chose this hotel because i wanted an authentic cave room experience. Well, this hotel will not disappoint you for that matter. Our room comes with jetted tub and heater which is very helpful during winter season. Do take note also that the room doesn’t have air conditioner just in case you want to stay here during summer. We also had our own balcony (rm 104) with a nice view of the balloons taking off early in the morning. The hotel also offers tour package but can only be settled by cash but there are a lot of travel and tour agencies around Goreme which accepts credit card and can give you a good deal. Take note that some of the tours and activities can be cancelled depending on the weather condition so better book your chosen activities once you reach Cappadocia to avoid the hassle of getting refunds. In our case during our 5 days stay, the balloon tour got cancelled twice. Tea and turkish coffee are being served while you wait for your room to be ready. They also do daily room cleaning. Free parking space is available on site. The only matter that disappointed me was the breakfast. It was delicious but literally the same items every single morning… well at least during my 5 days stay. Good thing they serve brewed coffee and tea. Breakfast starts at 8am and there’s a nice view while you eat.

I explained the issue to the lady on the hotel & she start calling other companies & get us a space with other hot air ballon more of glad bc really was the main motive of went to know Capadoccia

Ruined our family reunion!!!

Except the manager, other staff do not know English and do not change the sheets every day. If any change of plans you’re expecting, please save yourself some money and time because this place puts all the blame on online websites. I wanted to get a refund for last 2 nights of my 1-week stay due to our tour cancellation because of weather. This place DID NOT help us at all. I also offered them that I’ll pay any extra charges, fees, taxes, but they did NOT cooperate in any manner. Basically, I lost $290. I called Hotels.com but no assistance from their side either. Very unpleasant experience with both Hotels.com (that I trusted) and this Grand Cave Suites.

Great boutique cave hotel with great service and amazing managers and staff. We were upgraded as stated on gold exclusive, she upgraded one of the rooms to one with a. Also you which I did t even know was available.

I had an asthma reaction from the cave room which is made of stone and she relocated our room promptly. She also helped schedule a whirling dervish show even though they were closed due to COVID and she helped me sort out my travel reservations with the airlines.

Breakfast is good but and the staff and chef are gracious. I’ll stay here again and again and I recommend to anyone who will be in Goreme.

The Grand Cave Suites is a great hotel, with a beatiful decoration, true to the spirit of Capadoccia. The service was SPECTACULAR!! We were treated as VIP during our entire stay there.
The room was huge, beatifully inserted into the rock, with an enormous bathroom with jacuzzi. We also received lots of help from Filiz on things to do, and how to navigate in the city. Really good hotel, I recommend it.

We got suckered into doing a private tour, I would NOT recommend this. It was a waste of time, and we got taken to factories that basically pressured us into buying their products.

Great value, view, and service!

What an excellent value for money! I loved sleeping in a cave, and the location was very convenient, just a five-minute walk from many shops and restaurants. Our 2-bed room with double and twin bed was clean and spacious, with a sitting area and large bathroom. It was a shame that I was too busy out and about to take a bath in the spa tub! Service was very nice, the reception lady helped us with any questions and gave us a great restaurant recommendation (Orient restaurant). The included breakfast was delicious, and I especially liked their veggie eggs and fried bread, washed down with cherry juice! I wasn't sure how great the terrace view would be, and wondered if I needed to find a better spot to view balloons and take pictures, but I was pleasantly surprised with a lovely morning view (see pictures). The only complaints I have were that our mini fridge had a bad smell whenever we opened it, as if some old food had been left inside by a previous guest, and it wasn't as cool as we would have liked for sleeping. Most cave hotels don't have air conditioning, and we didn't want to open the window because of noise, especially since we were on the ground floor. But I slept well, and would definitely recommend this hotel.

From check-in to check-out we felt like they went above and beyond!! Helped us when it came to booking our tours and recommendations for lunch/dinner and they were all excellent.
Jozef, who we loved, made sure we were more than taken care off 24/7 and there are no words to describe how amazing he was. He constantly checked on us and made sure we were comfortable, while we were hanging out in the hotel. From water to fruit to just an overall amazing experience during our stay!!!
We stayed a total of five nights and our room, the king suite, was one of the best rooms we have stayed in our month long trip through Turkey.
More than RECOMMEND this hotel not just Bc of their rooms but the overall experience they offer.

Wow! We had an incredible experience at the Grand Cave Suites! Filiz was so nice and was always available through Whatsapp to answer all of our requests! The view of the hot air balloons was wonderful! I was able to get amazing pictures for my Instagram! We woke up early and Filiz and the team had put like a table with a fruit basket and wine for our pictures with the balloons! The room was beautiful! Everything was within walking distance of the hotel! Me and my family enjoyed it a lot! Also the breakfast was delicious! Lots of options and variety! If we go back we would definitely stay there again! Thanks Filiz and the team!

I give this property 5 stars both for how beautiful and clean it is and for the customer service they provide. The communication with the hotel was excellent from the moment I booked. Filiz was the one always getting back to me and answering all my questions , as well as arranging our pick up from the airport as well as our drop off. She also took care of us by helping with the booking of a tour . On our last day there , we realized we did not receive our pictures from our balloon ride ( booked by ourselves) and she went above and beyond, calling the company and having our pictures delivered before our departure. The housekeeping were also doing an amazing job, cleaning so much , like I never saw in another hotel before. There is a restaurant as well where you can have a yummy breakfast that is included in the price. Thank you for such a great experience! I had tears when I left ! You definitely made our stay even better!

This was an absolutely fabulous cave hotel to stay in while we were vowing the Cappadocia area. It was decorated so “culturally cave style” that it made for a wonderful feel to go along with the environment. The beds were comfortable, linens beautiful and a jacuzzi in the bathroom! Breakfast was the best! Eggs made to order and a coffee pot full of American brewed coffee! The staff were very helpful and guided us to the locations of all the hotspots.

Highly recommend for a cave experience! Beautiful spacious room, phenomenal views, excellent breakfast, perfect location, and met the guy whose family used to own the hotel and he was born in the cave. Amazing! They organized our trip from the night we arrived and we were glad we did. They were excellent in remembering us & reminding us of how much time we had in between our tours. For a 3 night stay, they arranged our airport shuttle both trips, our green and red tour, the Turkish night show & dinner, spa, ATV sunset tour, and horseback ride for my husband. It was fun filled, packed trip but we were with the best people. The breakfast was phenomenal you can order eggs on demand on top of the full spread of the Turkish breakfast. The terrace was so beautiful and I wish I could stay there forever! I told the hotel specifically that I had bad allergies to horse & I was concerned about my check out time. They had a plan set out for us, a shower that he was able to use, and after exploring the local town all walking distance, we just wanted to chill and wait for our shuttle. So they allowed us to wait on the terrace for an hour & half for our shuttle. I will absolutely miss being there! Yusuf and Filiz were so nice! The only thing that our last minute booking method didnt work was the hot air balloon ride so I highly recommend booking it a bit more in advance.We asked multiple hotels, tour guides & travel agents & after asking about 7 places we were able to book our HAB flight!

Wonderful hotel. Great service with very kind employees. Spacious rooms and a nice free breakfast. Local area was great and it was very easy to walk to the shops and restaurants downtown!

Amazing from start to finish

The hotel staff are really lovely, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are lovely being set in caves. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice.
