Amazing stay in Cappadocia

We had a wonderful and memorable stay at the Hidden Cave in Goreme / Capaddocia region. The accommodations exceeded our expectations with a spacious room, comfortable bed. The breakfast spread was traditional Turkish and that enhanced the stay.
What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional staff service. We very much enjoyed the frequent interaction with Yavuz at the front desk. In addition to making great reccomendation on what to see and do it was the conversations about life in Turkey the challenges the younger generation face and the vaired topics of discussion that stood out. Yavuz (and hs brother) making our stay feel like home. Their warmth and local insights added a personal dimension that transformed our visit from merely comfortable to genuinely memorable. I ran out of clean clothes and they have excellent and very affordable laundry service.
I would highly recommend Hidden Cave in Goreme to anyone visiting beautiful Cappadocia

Wow! This hotel was amazing. We stayed in a beautiful cave room. It was everything we expected and more. Even the bed was carved in stone. Additionally each room we stayed in had a very nice sitting area in a sheltered outdoor area. The location was great and a short walk to many restaurants and nightlife. The staff were amazing some truly kind and helpful people. The breakfast was just ok. There were some great public spaces and lounges on property.

I loved Hidden Cave for our stay in Göreme! The hotel itself is so lovely, with the different cave rooms, the beautiful overlook spot to watch the sunrise balloons and the rooftop breakfast area. We chose the two twins room and it was comfortable and spacious with AC and a large bathroom. The hotel itself is located right off the main road with shopping, hotels and everything you need in walking distance. The front desk and cleaning staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Then property has a nice cave style setting and was definitely the vibe you would look for in Cappadocia, I found the rooms had a slight issue with drainage smell they could not fix I had asked them to clean, but other than that the rooms were nice and clean and area was good, close to centre of town with all amenities needed, including bar fridge with well priced items.

Hidden Cave is a cute, very well located, charmingly ethnic style decorated, small hotel. The hotel personel is very attentive and courteous - and is perhaps the strongest point in its favour. I stayed for 6 nights at room 110. It is the room itself that was not satisfactory. Firstly. there is an issue of design: the lighting is extremely poor, does not allow you to read, or even choose clothing properly. The room has no suffient closet or furniture to accomodate anything. But the worse thing is that the \"cave\" requires important maintenance: rainwater filters inside, and creates various points where it drops into the room - one of these points right ON TOP of the bed... In my opinion, this room is not suitable not be rented to anyone until its proper maintenance has been done, allowing for dry conditions whenever it rains. We had 3 days with rain, and 6 full days with interior water drips. The very nice hotel personel were in no condition to provide any solution. Another guest mentioned having his bathroom floded because of the same reasons. Be VERY careful where you put your phones or laptops to recharge!!!!

First of all, the man who checked us in, Yanuž (sorry I couldnt get the spelling right), in the afternoon of 08/23/2023, was an absolute delight and greeting me by name before I introduced myself. Just shows the incredible care and diligence they take ok their part to make things an incredible experience. Room was beautiful and the shower alone… oh my god amazing its like being in a waterfall inside a cave. 10/10 top recommendation for hotel stays in Goreme that is close to the best shopping and restaurants.

The family owned and run property is located conveniently close to all shopping/dining options in the heart of Goreme. Included breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. The staff made every effort to accommodate all requests and shared their valuable local knowledge. We were given several options of available rooms (traditional cave) on arrival. Parking was easy, available outside front door of hotel or nearby in plaza. Beds were comfortable and family room easily accommodated 4 of us. Very convenient and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was excellent. The only thing negative were that the pillows were super hard. I got a replacement, but that was the same.

This was the best place we stayed in Turkey. The room was absolutely perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a great view of the balloons in the morning with a great spot for taking photos. The breakfast was delicious. We had the hotel arrange out airport pick up/drop off and it went smoothly. They even recommended what time we should leave for the airport. We booked our hot air balloon ride through them as well, it was an amazing experience. We adored both Mustafa's and they made us feel at home. They went so out of their way for us and we will never forget our time in Cappadocia. As 2 female solo travelers, we felt so safe. This was the absolute best area to walk around and be centrally located. I looked at over 30 hotels online before picking this one and I think I picked the best! :)

On one of the days when we couldn't find parking in the area, they walked around with us to find a spot. This was an excellent cave hotel to stay in. The room was as good as the photos (not often the case), with plenty of space and authentic character. The owner is engaging and willing to assist to make your stay enjoyable. He took care of organising the baloon trip without fuss so everything was smooth. Cappadocia was the best part of my trip to Turkey, and staying here for 10 days, made it truly amazing!
The rooms are so cool! I’ve never stayed in a cave before, so this was something new and exciting. The shower is good, plenty of hot water AND they have under floor heating, which is probably the best invention ever. Omg
The staff are wonderful, friendly people who really took great care of me. Serving my favorite foods for breakfast, showing me the best places to visit, where to go hiking, and they even organized the green tour for me at a much lower price that what you will find elsewhere. ( that’s a must do experience, so much fun!)
I wish I could stay here for another week.
I will be back one day inshallah! Thank you Hidden Cave!

Absolutely amazing place. I stated in both the honeymoon suite and the king cave suite and the rooms are gorgeous. The pictures of the property don’t do it justice as this is among the top 2 or 3 properties I’ve stayed at in my 20 years of regular traveling. The location can’t be beat - waking up to an armada of hot air balloons floating 25 feet above my head was a spine-tingling experience that I’ll never forget. Last, but not least, the staff is amazing: very thoughtful, friendly and willing to help at a moment’s notice. Their help in organizing tours - and the once in a lifetime experience of a hot air balloon ride in magical, out of this world beautiful, Cappadocia - helped make my stay in Goreme one of my very best travel experiences ever. This place deserves 6 out of 5 stars.

One of the best hotel I’ve stayed. The owner and receptionists were very much friendly and helpful. They even changed my room after I have a complain about room. They also make space for my car in front of their hotel for me. The room condition and design of the hotel was fascinating. Breakfast was rich and tasty, thanks to cook Fatima for that 😃. Will choose this hotel again if I go to Cappadocia.

We stayed in a real cave room which used to be a horse stable. It felt really raw but at the same time very clean and good ambience.It smelled a little pungent at start which we figured out was because of the air-conditioner when kept on heating mode.
Mustafa (son of this family run hotel) was very welcoming, allowed us early check-in to our room.The restaurant lady was also very kind.
Breakfast was also good.
Good view from rooftop.
The hotel is 100m from citycentre. So the location is excellent for accessibility, be it super market or different tour agents or bus station.
We stayed here for just a night, with pleasant memories.
(2 more nights in Göreme in another hotel nearby. I had prebooked both the hotels)
The stay was worth the money!

We stayed at Hidden Cave for 3 nights when visiting Goreme. Fantastic hotel, great service and amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. They organized our tours (Green Tour) and airport shuttles with ease. We were scheduled to have a Hot Air Balloon tour but ours was cancelled by weather. The hotel tried very hard to get us booked in to another tour but weren't able to do so. We still very much appreciated their effort! We would definitely recommend this charming cave hotel.

The people at Hidden Cave were just lovely and helpful with everything. The breakfast was fabulous and had a huge variety. The location was great... right next to everything, yet very peaceful. The only couple of things that could be better were : the lighting in the rooms, could do with a couple of ceiling lights to be brighter & the water in the shower wasn’t very hot in the mornings but only at night. Otherwise a lovely place. ( note: the rooms look bigger in the pictures than in real life)

Love this place. We had the King Cave Suite (room 114)...best room and on the highest floor with great views (only issue: luggage carrying up few floors as there is no elevator). But its worth it. Lots of lounge spaces make this place very comfortable to hang out with nice views of the Goreme town and balloons early morning.

The owner of the hotel is very hospitable and friendly. We arrived earlier than check-in time. Though room was not ready, we were permitted to take a shower using the hotel facility. On the second day, we asked for a late check-out and was very immediately attended to. The service is awesome! Recommend to all travelers!

I have been to many places, and what I have learned, observed and experienced is that, people makes all the difference between excellent and worst experience.... amenities and facilities are down the list...
Hotel Hidden Cave is one of the best place where I have stayed apart from my home.
Location right on money...nothing can be better
Food....leave it....bears no comparison with my taste, it's utterly satisfying

Two things I really like about the hotel- the cave room was rather dark, giving a good and realistic atmosphere of staying in a cave and the breakfast was yummy! This is a lovely little hotel on a number of levels. Situated at the top end of town but at the bottom of the hill but this does not stop the great views. Each room is unique, no 2 the same. In the rooms are tea and coffee facilities and a mini bar. All the staff are really friendly and very helpful. Fatma the chef puts on a great breakfast, no need for lunch after that. We enjoyed everything so much that we have already booked for next year. So watch out the Fethiye lots are coming back.

The full Cave experience! Room was great and spacious with a nice shower and tub. The breakfast was fully loaded with some great home cooking and service by Fatima and the hotel staff. Close to the town center and many restaurants and shops. All in all a very good experience.

Authentic

Our stay was a pleasure. it was an authentic experience, staying in a cave for three days. I thought it could be claustrofobic but it was not. Our room was really spacious, comfortable and clean. The open buffet breakfast was well prepared including different kinds of options and the staff was very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend!

Hidden Cave Hotel is located in an easy-to-find location, and most of all, it's humidI liked it because it didn't leak. I was happy to take a picture of the hot air balloon floating on the top floor. I couldn't ride a hot air balloon because the price of the hot air balloon tour soared to 420 euros per person.

Unfortunately, the only protein food in breakfast was eggs, so it was a shame.

Great value, service and authentic feel

This hotel was an excellent combination of an affordable price and great quality. The staff were always happy, helpful and eager to help in booking tours and activities and arranging transportation, as I was staying a part of the week because of business. Location was excellent, just a few blocks from the main street, but it was still very peaceful. It was not very high on the hills, but from the top floor balcony the view was great anyways.

The design of rooms and areas is clever and was very authentic and true to cultural history. The only thing I rated only 4/5 for cleanliness, was that there was a bit of mold in the shower in the old rough cave walls. No any smell because of that, though. Otherwise the place was kept extremely tidy.

Breakfast was local and tasty, although it started only at 8:30, so I had to miss it half of the time because of my schedules.

All in all I'd gladly book this hotel again.
