Hotel and Staff were nice. Breakfast was ok. Biggest problem i faced was the lack of parking. The lots infront of the hotel were perpetually fully occupied. Driving around looking for parking was stressful, and significantly diminished the trip’s enjoyment.

I would like to suggest on red tour to have the option of removing pottery and carpet to replace with underground tour. We did not get to see it because we did not have time the next day.

The hotel’s profile photos can be somewhat misleading. I stayed for four days in a top-floor private terrace room, but encountered several issues. The bathroom ceiling was leaking rainwater, the towels were extremely worn out and rough, and the toilet paper had an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the mini fridge was not cooling properly.

The tap water was very hard and rough. Nowadays, many hotels install water softeners and filters to improve water quality, but this hotel did not. Overall, I was quite disappointed and would not recommend this place.

Great hotel with super location and unique setup.Restaurant food and service in the in house restaurant was excellent. Front desk people were great.
A bit disappointed that we didn’t get great service from housekeeping until we left a tip. Also, asked several times for extra hangers (there were only 3 in the room and we were there for 3 days). Never got extra.
Highly recommend the in house tour company. Mahmet was fabulous on the green tour.
Short walk to get a bottle of wine which they served us in this “dry” hotel restaurant.

This was not my first time in Cappadocia. However, this was my worst experience in any hotel. We came to vacation with a 3 month old and she was being fussy… they callled the room 3 minutes after check out time (even though we asked for late check out) .
As soon as we checked in I mentioned why our room smelt like seweage… they told
Us to open the windows? (Mind you it was 10 degrees Celsius in Cappadocia. I recommend to stay somewhere else.

The location was great as it was within walking distance to restaurants we loved. The property also offered the Red and Green tours from the location which made it super convenient. The on-property restaurant served a great Turkish breakfast and was a welcome place to eat after the long trip from the US. The staff was excellent as well. The major drawback was the musty smell (I think cave hotels all smell like that), the very hard mattress and uncomfortable chairs in the sitting room.

Had a nice time at the Stone House Cave Hotel. Our room was on the ground level with windows looking out at the street. It was pretty quiet considering the shops and cars just outside. Our Deluxe Double room was a good size with plenty of space. The bathroom did appear to have some mold on the ceiling but I think that’s pretty common in these stone/cave buildings. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating! The location is perfect for walking around town and exploring. Overall I would recommend!

Good location and the staff was great and very helpful. They sent me an email after I booked the room with all the tour prices. I booked all my tours through them and was very happy with the tours. This allow me to utilize my 3 days stay to the fullish with less headaches. They also arranged my shuttle airport transfers.

We went purposely for the unusual scenery and the magical Balloon ride. Both were were excellent. The hotel room needed better lighting for makeup and reading as very dark. Disappointed in the set menu each night as limited to meat. Overall a good hotel with helpful staff and tours arranged for us on advance.

Don’t waste your money on this hotel.we stayed in a family suite.
The AC never worked during our 3 night stay. After multiple complains- no response from the reception or manager.our last night manager finally checked in, looked at the AC and goes I will send some one. We left the room for the whole day. Came back to a boiling oven per usual. Cappadocia is a tourist attraction and these hotels have captured it well.the architecture is amazing no doubt.rooms are spacious but dirty. Mould everywhere in the bathroom.it reeks of the mould smell.beds and pillows are terrible.flat out mattresses. We can ignore all that as long as you get a shut eye after a 7-8 hr long day of walking and exploring the town. But that you can’t !! Because AC is messed up. For the whole suite there is one tiny until which is auto set for 8 mins and starts flashing once it shuts off. The hotel didn’t have the courtesy to even manually fix it. Nothing !!! Every one in the reception responds - tell Majeed in the morning, tell kader in the evening. Or a simple
Getaway response “I don’t understand, what can I do ?” Well then why are you at the reception when you can’t understand simple English. They kept us giving a run around. Every day we went to the relevant parties. No response no actions.
Breakfast - olives and cheese is all you get so don’t get fooled by the spread!
Rooms are terrible and over priced!

Guys at front desk were greedy looking to extract money by whatever means possible.

I Needed a late check, which was allowed after additional payment. But then we as told to pay more or check out.

Hotel is great. It’s in the middle of the town centre. Thankfully it’s on a flat road - many of the hotels are at the top of steep hills. This wasn’t. We had two top floor flats with private terraces. Terraces had sofas and chairs and was huge. Rooms were huge and massive bathrooms. Great air conditioning. Great views from the terrace for hot hair balloons. Breakfast was decent.

Hotel organised all tours including the quad biking tour which was great. Highly recommend.

Amazing Goreme Hotel

Truly amazing hotel. Rooms 123 and 124 had a fantastic private terrace where the views of the balloons were awesome. Hotel was in the centre of town close to all the restaurants and it was on flat ground so no hills to climb to reach it. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty choice for everyone. Goreme seems to be the bigger of the towns nearby so loads to do nearby with fairy chimneys all around.

A little gem.

We didnt realise how hilly Cappadocia was and it was pure luck we chose this hotel on the flat. Centrally located. The rooms were clean and surpringly warm, didnt expect the cental heating. The breakfast was great and all the staff super helpful. If we were to be picky it would be about the quality of the toiletries provided which were very watery. All in all a great stay and would happily return again.

I can prob write a novel about this hotel so Idk where to start. Location is a plus. It is easy to find, walking distance to restaurants, shops, pharmacy, post office, viewpoints, and open air museum. the terrace/patio is perfect for sunrise and viewing the hot air balloon. the food is great. it offers varieties. the two men in the restaurant are superb. they are great worker and very friendly. the hotel can arrange all your tours. the staff are great and they go beyond. Ferman drove us to salt lake and we made it back on time. Ferman drives very carefully and responsibly. he is very professional and very gentleman. Murat is also great, but Ferman is the best!!!!
with covid situation, everyone at the hotel is compliant with the mask policy. hand sanitizers can be found almost everywhere at the hotel.
one negative thing is the housekeeping part. I stayed for 8 days and nobody cleaned my room.
I think it’s the covid situation. but it wasnt a big deal for me. overall experience was great and i’d definitely come back to the same hotel when I visit Cappadocia.

I strongly recommend to choose Stone House Cave hotel to everyone. Clean and considerably big rooms, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, very cozy inside yard, professional and kind staff make your stay so good. All restaurants and souvenirs shops are nearby. The hotel can also offer tours, I would recommend to get gold package which include transfers, balloon ride and whole region tours.

Modern hotel but made of natural stone so it blends in nicely with the environment. Big hotel but not too big (I never saw more than 6 other guests each day in late September 2020). Staff all speak good English and are incredibly friendly and helpful. I chose one of the rooms with a balcony overlooking the courtyard and bubbling fountain, highly recommended. The terrace (for breakfast, reading, lounging, balloon spotting, is on the 3rd floor and is spacious with chairs, tables, bean bags, and a small room to sit on carpets on the floor. The breakfast is excellent, be sure to ask for an omelette or menemen (spicy Turkish egg dish). Internet worked well and the hot water in the shower was abundant. I used them for two tours, the \"silver package\" for hot air ballon one day and the \"green tour\" on another day. Both were well worth it and they include r/t airport transfer (I flew in and out of NAV airport) if you book that with them. The hotel is right on the street level, so very convenient to walk around. I really liked \"View Point Restaurant\" for the great view and food. Highly recommended!

Love our stay . The cave room is very cozy, clean and warm in the winter. Breakfast bar are very simple and normal basic turkish breakfast. The location is in the Town . A few steps down - u are already in the main Town with all the restaurant and shops - a nice night walk after a full day activity in cappadocia.

The staff were very welcoming and hospitable. The room was amazing, and the overall property is very pretty. The reception staff (Murat or Muharrem), was very helpful, and assisted us on arranging an all day private car tour for us at a very reasonable price. They even let us keep our luggage at the hotel all day while we were out on our tour after we had checked out. Will recommend this place to everyone! Plus, great location too...only a 5 min walk from the bus station and right next to the city center. Very easy to locate. Don’t miss having a dinner at the restaurant; very good food and very patient staff. Great breakfast too!

Room was quite spacious and nicely decorated, bathroom was huge but because it is the most inner room it never fully dries. The biggest issue was the mold as it was all around the suite, when you enter the smell of mildew hits you strongly. Wardrobe was green and smelly from the inside. Bath tube was leaking. Else, the hotel architecture is quite charming and the terrance has amazing view to the baloons in the morning.

A gem in Cappadocia

This hotel is a gem in Cappadocia. Shortly after I made my booking, I received an email from Stone House Cave hotel telling me about the area and the various tours available. It’s very centrally located and the bonus is that it’s on the same level as the town making it so easy to explore the town. I booked our airport shuttles and a day tour through the hotel and everything went according to plan. Once at the hotel, the staff were so accommodating and happy to help, the rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfast spread available was great. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

This accommodation is nothing but basic, beds and pillows were very hard. Room and bathroom had an awful smell. Upon arrival we waited almost 45 minutes before we left airport, the taxi was looking for more passengers. Got to hotel after more than 2 hours after landing. Great tour and balloon ride organised by hotel.

The hotel was all we were expecting, nice ambiance, a good central location with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The views from the third floor restaurant were excellent. We cant praise the staff to highly, always extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms were good but if there was a fault the room we were in looked a bit jaded and maybe needed a little freshening up. All in all a good experience and we would book it again.

The manager is a really hard working and helpful guy, he got us checked-in and also arranged for our next day tours.

A well-priced cosy hotel in the centre of town near all the attractions. The room was warm and well appointed. Tea, coffee and fresh water provided as well as all toiletries & slippers. Breakfast plentiful and fresh (self-service). Amazing to watch the hot air balloons from the upstairs terrace. There is a huge choice of accommodation in Cappadocia and rated 3* it well exceeded our expectations ... we will definitely stay again.

Unique hotel design clean and comfortable with friendly English speaking staff. Hotel provides tours and hot air balloon tour if you arrangement. The rooftop have a very nice of the hot air balloon scene every morning.

Good times in Cappadocia!

Great service, good condition amenities. Decent breakfast buffet offerings. Tomato soup was amazing! Receptionists very accommodating to multiple changes to our itinerary and tours.

Great place to stay

Nice and Cozy, with the room interior resembling a cave, this was a great place to stay in Cappadocia. The staff was very helpful, and arranged Day tours for us.
