Beautiful room and hotel grounds. Easy walk down to town where restaurants and coffee shops are.walking distance to many trails and points of interest like open air museum. Nice roof top w beautiful view of sunset and sunrise. Good breakfast included. Highly recommend.

We stayed for 5 nights and the views from the accommodation were amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. Bit of a walk up the hill from town, but very manageable and a good way to walk off dinner!

Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous view!! The staff is super friendly and so accommodating. We stayed as a big family of 5 adults and one child and our suite was perfect. I think breakfast service could have been better but overall this was definitely a highlight of our trip.

The property is beautiful with the most caring and amazing staff. Its on top of the hill and far to walk to from the main area. But taxi is there and is cheap. Breakfast is great. The ground is beautiful. The only problem was that rooms are in the cave and the restrooms smell very very bad at all times. Hope they can fix this situation as staying in the room was difficult with the bad smell.. By far one of the best hotels in town.

Me and my wife spent 5 nights in this lovely property, the scene every sunrise is so unrealistic, the breakfast tastes good, the staff were very accommodating especially Esman, the guy who help with the luggages, dont know if i got it correct! 😂 and this guy every time he see us greeted us in a very nice way. You will also be greeted by Mr. Pickles, the lovely dog from the reception. The room! Speechless! Never slept on a cave hotel before but the room is an experience itself! Thank you so much for accomodating us, we will surely come back!

We had a really nice stay at lunar. We were able to check in as soon as the room became available.
The place is walkable to the high street of Goreme.
Room were cleaned daily. Staff were helpful with the request.

I had a great stay here. Hotel room is nice, staff are friendly and helpful. We had an early flight and they packed us some food to eat. We’ve chatted with Ensar during the check-out time. Very nice guy, also a guy that helped us to bring the luggage to the room but I forgot to ask for his name. He heard we are from Canada and said Canadians are nice. He doesn’t speak a lot of english but definitely a cute guy! We had a great time there. Thanks again and highly recommended this hotel!

Our stay here was incredible but just a few comments on some small things that could make it even better

1) the rooftop bar could only offer alcohol or coke - no other options of soft drinks
2) Could do with a nighlight in the bathroom as the cave style accommodation is dark and don't want to put on a full light in the middle of the night
3) There weren't many parking spaces within the grounds and staff park there as well. There is a decorative cart with hay bale right in the middle of the access to the parking area making it really tricky to get into the spaces - would make life so much easier if this was moved to another area within the grounds to get better access and more space

However, this is an amazing hotel with fantastic friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. Amazing breakfast and the rooms were spotless

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was super helpful. I think the only thing missing is that the hotel didnt have a restaurant onsite. There was a place for breakfast but any other meals required you to head to either another hotel or the main town. While the walk to the main part of town was quick it’s mostly uphill to get back to the hotel. However, Mohammed at the front desk gave us great recommendations so it was a great experience overall.

Great hotel … great to see the balloons

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel .. the grounds are pretty, and the rooms are large and spacious with some outdoor seating to enjoy your morning coffee. The beds were really comfortable and we really loved the hotel, the town and everything. I suspect most hotels in Goreme would give you a great view of the balloons at sunrise but we could definetly see them from our room … but stepped out the door to see them … we stayed two nights and I think it depends on the wind … the first day more tended to go over the hotel direction … but still beautiful both days. The breakfast was plentiful and good. Staying in a cave hotel was good … end of August and room wasn’t too hot.

From the moment we stepped off your taxi, we were welcomed by someone from the reception area and taken through. Explain to the area and the hotel itself and also helped us book some activities with great ease.
Nothing was too much trouble when we asked, and they were even kinder with our early morning flight to give us a takeaway breakfast box.
The breakfast itself was a great way to kickstart the day with such a great selection with fresh eggs being made when requested. So glad we picked this hotel with its great location great staff and comfortable rooms and especially the terrace with the sunrise balloon watching moments.

Such a unique beautiful property, and the staff were so helpful. This property is a total gem and I would absolutely stay there again. The room was lovely, they turned on the heated floors for us as it got chilly at night, and brought us an extra duvet. And the Turkish breakfast was so good. Helpful kind staff. The views from the rooftop patio are stunning. Highly recommend!

Lunar Cappadocia was the perfect retreat in the middle of Goreme (which can be quite touristy and busy). The courtyard was so peaceful throughout the day, multiple terraces were wonderful for viewing the town. The handmade breakfast everyday was delicious. We walked to town everyday and also walked to nearby dinner dining options. Our family suite fit our family of 5 perfectly - a large room with 3 beds and huge bathroom for the kids, and a large kind bed room with another huge bathroom for the adults. The washer/dryer was very helpful during our stay. We would absolutely recommend this hotel for your stay in Cappadocia! The staff was so helpful and kind.

This hotel was great that it is gated and at the top of the town so you get a really nice view in the morning of the hot air balloons. One draw back is the road up to the hotel is difficult to drive since it’s one lane for both directions but I can see construction going on that will improve those roads in the near future.

Dream stay at Cappadocia!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel for two nights, and wish we stayed longer! The location is perfect and the scenery of the mountains is picturesque in this cave hotel. The city center is a convenient 5-7 minute walk and the neighborhood is charming. I recommend adding the breakfast option- it’s a proper Turkish breakfast spread. Staff was helpful and friendly and the room was beautiful and comfortable.

The Lunar hotel was a grrat place to stay and will now be our defacto hotel when we go to Cappadocia. We stayed at the Family Suite and it was very spacious. They also had lots of different rooftop decks for you to view the balloons in the morning or to just enjoy the landscape.

My friends and I stayed at Lunar Cappadocia for our stay for 2 nights 3 days and we absolutely loved our experience. From the second we got there Ahmet was so kind as were all the employees who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us out with transportation etc. the breakfast buffet was great with lots of options. Our room was amazing with a beautiful terrace! I would highly recommend staying at this location again.

We enjoyed our stay at Lunar Cappadocia hotel. The staff were very kind and welcoming. I was having trouble with my converter and one of the staff members offered to bring over to me without even asking! Only downside was the warmth in the rooms. While the room did not have AC, they provided fans which offset some of the heat. The breakfast was great and the location was not central but walkable to some dining options. The rooftop patio view was stunning. Would recommend and would stay again!

The Lunar Cappadocia hotel was exceptional. We had the perfect spacious room for a family of five. It’s such a convenient location, minutes away to restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They booked all our sight seeing trips. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is going to visit Cappadocia.

This hotel and its location is outstanding.

The team provided the highest quality of service and hospitality and wonderful hotel, with multiple languages spoken by the staff it was a breeze to stay.

The room was amazing and we will certainly come back to stay again. We certainly got the luxury cave hotel experience with the room (104) being large suite.

The breakfast buffet was better than most 5 star hotels. After eating some of the huge selection of breakfast items we didn’t eat again until the evening. The team to looked after everyone at breakfast were so friendly and kind.

We stayed in winter when it was snowing, which was probably better then dealing with the summer crowds. The room was so warm and we enjoyed the double spa bath.

Come for a visit and I’m sure you won’t regret it

Had a really great stay here with my family. Good quality cave suite with access to a private roof/terrace with a table and chairs to enjoy the view. The room was nice and warm and cozy at night. The amenities were really good. As this hotel is the highest situated in Goreme, it has a stunning view of the entire town. There is a high terrace area geared with kelims, cushions and 'props' for those looking for the perfect insta-shots with the balloons coming right past and over the hotel - just insane! We stayed at 2 hotels during our time in Cappadocia and Lunar had by far the best and most diverse breakfast! We had a hire car so it was perfect for us, for those that plan to walk it may be a bit of an uphill trek but not that bad.
