I loved this hotel. The staff was great and very helpful. The location was perfect for shopping and dining, people watching and sightseeing. The hotel is very charming with an eclectic array of art everywhere. The hotel has a sweet outdoor patio with real grapes/grapevines growing above it and it faces the water, so when it's time to relax, it's perfect for people watching. The only slightly negative thing I can say about the hotel is that our room was very small and tight.

Our room was large, very comfortable and clean with A/C and an excellent shower which was greatly appreciated. The hotel was everything we hoped for and more besides and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff cannot be overstated.
We enjoyed excellent breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay and under a sumptuous grapevine. We returned frequently to the terrace for afternoon beers after having been out early to explore before the hottest part of the day. We then went out again for an evening exploration and dinner. The sunsets are beautiful.
The location of the hotel on Ortega itself is fabulous and you are totally spoilt for choice of restaurants, cafes, bars, market and gelato shops with everything in walking distance

The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing sites to see and places to eat. Since there’s limited driving in the area they try as much as possible to arrange parking and transportation. The room and hotel is very unique with art and architecture. They provided a great bottle of red wine for being a VIP on Expedia. They also provided free cocktails for us once during our stay and free drinks from the room refrigerator. Breakfast was delicious. The only con was that the shower was small but I guess that is typical with a historic building. The terraces overlooking the water were fantastic. Ortigia is one of best cities to see in Sicily and Henry’sHotel is the place to stay.

The property lives up to it's name - full of character and quirky spaces - indoors and on the multiple terraces. The breakfast was very good. They offered secure parking with Silvio who was also a delight. It was such a special room with stunning views. Ortigia and this hotel were the highlight of my trip to Sicily. This entire property is unique! Our stay in an ocean view room did not disappoint. We loved how welcoming and personable the staff were. Although we stayed only one night, we nearly changed our plans to stay longer because we enjoyed the experience so much. Charme Henry's house was charming
While a little tricky to find in Ortigia's narrow streets its beautiful when you find it. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are individual, quirky and spotlessly clean. Everything in the mini fridge is complimentary. We were in room 311 and the view over the sea and sunset was to die for. The breakfast was fresh and everything you would expect from a continental breakfast. You could have the breakfast inside or on the terrace overlooking the sea, which we did because the weather was great for the middle of October. They arranged for a private car company to collect our car from the hotel and we would give them roughly an hour's notice for the car to be delivered to the hotel for use. There is only room for 1 car at the front of the hotel, which cannot be left there due to the narrowness of the road. The private firm charge 25 euros a day. The hotel supplies towels for the beach free of charge if required. The hotel lounge is lovely with a small bar, which we never used because we were out all day and there were mini cannolis are the reception desk for clients to pick at when passing. Fantastic quiet hotel - recommend it.

Henry’s house hotel was wonderful - it has amazing eclectic furnishings and decor which gives you a genuine feeing of Italian tradition. With a beautiful vine covered terrace overlooking the sea where we sat to watch the sun setting each evening was just perfect. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating making you immediately feel at home, the breakfast is a delicious feast of fresh fruits, cereals, meats, cheeses, omelettes, bread etc and so well presented.

Our room, the classic (and cheapest, I believe) faced the narrow road 3 floors below, and we got woken at 4.45 by a tremendous racket when the bin men came to collect bottles and rubbish. Nice touch was the glass of wine and talk about Syracuse to welcome us, and the breakfast was excellent!

The position of this little hotel (only 14 rooms) is wonderful. We were in 311, right at the top - the views were spectacular. The very best thing about the hotel was the staff; nothing was too much for them and they all made us feel special. The only problem we had was finding somewhere comfortable to sit outside - but everything else was so nice it felt churlish to moan about that! We would definitely stay there again.
