Hotel was so convenient to the center of Ortigia and the most beautiful piazza Archimeade- lots of cafes and restaurants. Emanuela, who ran the hotel was so helpful with valet details and giving us lots of suggestions for breakfast and dinner. They upgraded our room and they had a really comfy bed with the best pillows! Overall an excellent stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were large and clean. The front staff (Paola and Emanuela) were fantastic. They arranged dinner reservations and transportation for us , plus many recommendations. I will note that the noise from the hallway and other rooms above us were pretty loud (we were on the first floor). Other guests coming in late at night or leaving early were hard to ignore. We had 2 rooms on opposite sides and it was an issue for us both. I would recommend bringing ear plugs because this is the only fault that I can think of. Everything else was fantastic.

A város szívében van, minden pár perc gyaloglással elérhető: éttermek, reggelizőhelyek, boltok, látnivalók, óriási a választék. Hangulatos, szépen gondozott a szállás, tiszta minden. Az alkalmazottak kommunikatívak és segítőkészek. Egy dolog hiányzott csak, hogy nincs lift, kézben kellett felcipelni a bőröndöket a második emeletre, de ha ez nehézséget okoz, a recepciós örömmel segít.

The staff was exceptional and literally assisted us from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. A special gratzie to Paola for her knowledge, time, and care. Fresh water bottles were given every day which we have not found to be standard practice at other hotels, so was greatly appreciated. Fabulous hotel

Absolutely fabulous! The staff went above and beyond to make my husband and I + 16 month old feel welcome and comfortable. They surprised us with a room upgrade and bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Constant communication via WhatsApp in the lead up to arriving and they stayed late for our arrival. Parking was a valet service which made things simple since the streets are narrow and we didn’t see any parking. The area is very walkable so we didn’t need to take our car out of the valet during our stay. The staff also sent me a list of recommendations for dinners during our stay. They were all fantastic recommendations.

Beautifully restored building with a small number of rooms, close to everything in Ortigia. Check-in starts quite late, but they allow you to drop off the luggage and do some sightseeing (there is also a toilet available next to reception where you can freshen up!).

Room was spacious with a bed and a sofa, decent shower and a beautiful terrace with bistro seating and lounge chairs with umbrella. Bed was comfy but had a topper that for me was like sleeping on lava, so something to keep in mind. Staff were friendly and ready to help.

Very close to lovely aperitivo bars and some less touristy restaurants that were absolutely delicious.

This is a small hotel on a quiet side street in the middle of Ortigia. The staff was exceptional. They will provide an exceptional room service breakfast at a reasonable cost. The only downside was that our room was on the third floor, and there's not elevator. That said, we'd happily return.

Very attentive and accommodating staff. We were able to drive to location to unload bags, then staff arranged valet parking which is worth the 25euros as the narrow streets can be challenging with a larger vehicle.
Front desk staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and travel tips.
Room was very large and comfortable with modern amenities in a beautiful older building that is photo worthy. Highly recommend this place.

Lia at the front desk is a wonderful host and offered plenty of suggestions for exploring the city. It is very convenient. The property itself was decent, but the air conditioning system had a weird sweet odor (perhaps a dirty filter), to the point I could not stomach to use it. There were obvious areas that had not been cleaned around the baseboards, where I found hair and dust. The valet service was convenient but next time I would just park at the city garage and save the money and wait time. Not sure I would stay here again, but if you are on a budget and want to stay in Ortigia this should be a consideration.

Spent wonderful three nights in theost comfortable Dimore della Zagare, in perfect location near the duomo, with the most lovely, helpful receptionist who speaks perfect english and makes everything easy - but is never pushy.
The only thing is that there is NO BREAKFAST

Lovely property and bonus help from staff!

Fantastic property, terrific location. The staff was so helpful when I found a defective tire on my rental car after arriving to Ortigia from Catania. They were able to talk to the Italian Hertz offices on my behalf and also to the tow truck driver the next morning. So grateful for their assistance!

A lovely property, managed very well by Lia. It’s in a great location in the heart of Ortigia. Lovely and clean too. We enjoyed have breakfast in the piazza every morning. We didn’t need it but there is Sky tv, Netflix and YouTube on the tv in the room. Definitely recommend this hotel to others!

The location is excellent, right in the heart of everything. The room was spacious, comfortable, great touches, comfortable beds and linens. The staff, Lia specifically was exceptional. Communication was consistent and all of our needs were met, allowing us to do and see so much in very little time. Lia arrange for parking for our car and dinner reservations even though we got in late in the evening. Everything was walking distance from the shops and boat ride, to Archimedes Piazza. Lia arranged for a wonderful boat ride with Dolphin Tours and a Tuk tuk tour with Giovanni, a multi-lingual archeological tour guide who also took us to the archeological park. What a fun-filled, jam-packed stay! Lia made it unforgettable.

Good location in Ortigia

Great place in a great location. The rooms have a great clean smell. The wifi is strong. No breakfast. The only thing I wish they had is to get the suitcases from the ground floor to the third floor. We were lucky for the staff to bring them upstairs but I had to bring them downstairs.

Lia was absolutely amazing! The room was clean and comfortable. We felt so special as we were there for our honeymoon and my husband’s birthday. The location was spectacular. We can’t say enough about how wonderful this place was!

Safe, perfect location with great service but..

Lia was very accommodating and helpful with any questions we had. She was very nice! The hotel is in a small alley very close to all attractions and very safe neighborhood. Loved the location! The downside of this place is that the beds were not comfortable and the shower is very very tiny! All in all a great stay, but a little loud (however she did offer a more quiet room with no window facing the street) and not the best bed for your back but that has been common throughout Europe.

Stay in the heart of Ortigia

Very nice, new and perfectly located in the heart of Ortigia. Do not expect view since the streets are narow. The breakfast is located at a bar 150 m away but in my opinion it is not worth taking it. Lia is very helpful profesional staff with everything but pay atention to the parking. You can enter Ortigia which has limited traffic and bring the luggage to the accomodation . After this you try to find a parking place near the fisherman port or market Enjoy as we did.

Fabulous boutique property, newly renovated in the heart of old Ortigia. Within walking distance of all of the sights and restaurants.
The welcoming team are fabulous and helped us to book lidos, excursions and with general recommendations - nothing was too much trouble for them

Well situated property on the island if Ortigia

Clean and comfortable with great staff.

Very comfortable stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very nice and accommodating staff. We arrived after dark and the taxi drivers were a little aggressive at the Siracusa bus station so I called the hotel and a very nice man called a taxi for us which was so helpful. The hotel is very well located in a safe area near restaurants and the Archimedes Plaza where there is a “Hop on and off Bus” stop. The sea is only about a 10 minute walk. We ended up staying a third night because we liked Siracusa so much. We will definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to Siracusa!

Once we got into the hotel/room - everything was wonderful. Getting there by car proved to be impossible for us. The roads around this hotel in Ortigia are narrow, and meandering, Often they are blocked. Parking is metered/paid and about 0.5 mi away. So our initial experience on arrival was not at all good. However, after arrival, the hotel provided a nicely located base for our visit in Ortigia.

The location of the property was excellent. A quiet street with beautifully renovated historic buildings. Close to a small grocery store and walking distance to all the sites in Ortigia. Marcelo, the owner, was very attentive to our needs, obtaining transportation to and from the airport and beach. He followed through with everything he said he was going to do in a timely manner. The attention to detail in our rooms was evident. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of choices.
