I was staying there with my daughter. Well she went out the night before and stayed with friends. We are currently homeless and had our dog with us. Anyhow, I have no vehicle so by checkout time I did leave on time. I had to carry several bags plus a dog on a leash. I cleaned up the room but was unable to carry a box f on the food and with me. As I sat on the curb waiting outside the hotel maid yelled at me asking if I was in said room. Then proceeded to say\"what you couldn't throw away your trash?\" In the most rud manner. I just shrugged my shoulders showing her that I had so much to carry already. Rid ride side!

REFUND EXPECTED. Smoke detector wrapped in plastic bag in a \"smoking room\" which turns out smoking rooms have been 100% ILLEGAL per CA law since 2024. Sheets had what appear to be blood stains& bathroom wall too. The room above had people screaming and pounding on walls and stomping floor from 2:15am til after 4am. After attempting to call the room directly 3 times, occupants took the phone off the hook, at which point we called the office. On-site security spoke directly with them three and for nearly hours, the noise has not subsided even slightly. 7 calls after, hated to but had to say we'd be contactiing police dept next. The noise subsided. Until just after 430am when one of those room \"visitors\", accidentally intending the room above us , came beating on our door looking for the prostitute in the room above . Our mattress was supposed to be a Queen. It was not. It was a double/full mattress. It was, at it's absolute best, deserving of a prison cell. It had, again, blood stained sheets, permanent 4inch depressions in a 5inch mattress. All we could feel was the wood plank underneath us. When we rotaded the mattress, we discovered concealed under a 5 year expired credit card , a food stamp card and a crusty sticky notebook containing journal entries from a guy who called his \"pimp game tight a. f.\" When leaving in the morning, 5 police units were responding to a 9-11 call involving a voilent sounding disturbance from the same room & adjacent room above

My wife and I stayed at the Riverside Motel 6 while attending a wedding in the area. We were given a smoking room, it smelt like a used ashtray. The check-in process was so protracted I didn’t have time to line-up again to swap my room. They insisted on scanning both mine and my wife’s drivers’ licenses. Maybe that reflects the criminality of many of the hotel guests. We were kept awake well into the night by loud rap music in the room above, followed by the sound of a Police helicopter hovering above the hotel.
On a positive note, we didn’t see any cockroaches and my car wasn’t stolen.

parking was great but getting my room clean took me 2 try’s till it finally got cleaned on the last night but I’ll definitely give them a try again and there’s a checkpoint at night to verify who’s coming in because of Riverside Police requirements so make sure to check in everyone who’s staying or it’s a extra fee

I am trying to complain about the staff who welcomed me. I checked in at 3 PM of the check-in day. When I used a credit card with different name, the woman said, I will never take the card like that. I said, but several weeks ago, the hotel still took the card. I have only this card. Next time, I will take a new card. She said, no, it is fraud. I said I came from LA. She still said no, I understand. I said, may I talk to your boss? The woman said, no. I really don't like this. I understand you changed to a new policy, but should you have accepted the exceptional when customer did not know your new policy? This woman almost asked to me to be a homeless people in Riverside. What is this? So inhumane. Finally, she told me that I might pay at Expedia.com. But she should have told me about this at the beginning. I really don't like this experience.

If you haven’t stayed in Riverside, or in a rough area then this isn’t for you. This was a secondary hotel from our initial reservation. Motel 6 was better equipped with security compared to our first booking, it’s still scary and unsafe.

I rented the hotel for 16 days. I had a double queen room with a microwave and a fridge. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean. I appreciated that it had a bathtub. During the first week, I was unable to enter the parking lot due to eight police cars blocking everything because they were looking for someone. I ended up canceling the second half of my stay because I had the kids and it didn’t feel the safest.

Check-in was fine, a little odd that IDs are submitted to police department and you have to sign in agreement to stay there. I was happy to hear that the police patrolled the property every 45 minutes; However it did not happen.
The rooms were decent, what you’d expect of a Motel 6. We had a vehicle breakdown and I was traveling with 2 seniors (83 and 87) and a 12 year old plus our dogs and needed a place for them quick while the vehicle was worked on.
There was dog crap covering every lawn and dirt patch, people hanging out in their cars or on the sidewalks blasting music and smoking weed all throughout the night, and no hotel staff or police presence to control the chaos. We barely slept.
I was told my vehicle would be ready at 12:30 so I asked for a late check out and moved everyone into one room so the housekeeping could at least clean one room on time. I offered to pay a late check out fee and even to pay for another night if I wasn’t back by 1pm to exit the second room.
While I was gone to get my vehicle, the office staff called and harassed my elderly father regarding checking out. Upon my return (2:45pm) as I was almost done loading the vehicle, the office staff approached me and threatened told me i needed to leave. I stated that I was almost done loading the vehicle and I was going to come up to check out and pay any fees. She reiterated I needed to leave and she’d call the police if i wasn’t out of the room in 5 minutes. I was appalled at the treatment I received

The hotel has hardwood floors this dog you can hear it running and this starts at about 9:30 in the evening. I contacted the front desk. They told me by me being in a hotel. I have to deal with it and their security was off that day since then it’s been going on very unhappy.

Massive fight at midnight outside our room, in which the cops were called by security. Awful beds. Huge hole punched in our bathroom door from the inside. The staff was nice and accommodating when I wanted to switch rooms to accommodate my toddler for bedtime. I needed to upgrade to a room with a fridge and microwave. They have nightly security guard that you must prove you’re a paying customer to or else you can’t come in. This tells me they have issues quite often. It’s Motel 6. Not the Mission Inn. Again, the people employeed were wonderful. The customers (other than myself) were absolutely awful and creepy. Not a family friendly place. We will not be back.
