It's a lovely little hotel on a quiet street near a park, a short walk away from lots of great food and drink -- faves include the Copper Room, the Glen Tavern & Freddies, and in the other direction, Bobby Byrne's. Also, as this is No 1 Pery Square, do go see the museum at No 2 Pery Square, so you know some of the history of the area.

Pure Irish charm at No. 1 Pery Square
This extraordinary boutique hotel operates out of an extensive Georgian townhouse adjacent to a park. For 3 days we enjoyed a sumptuous room (the Park Room) and delicious breakfast choices. Charmingly decorated, the place is comforting and supported by a friendly helpful staff. Our fault, but we didn't try the spa. Highly recommended, we'd stay here again if we return to the area.

I had a great stay at the No 1 Pery Sq. The rooms are lovely, the room was warm. The bed is comfy and the shower is good. The staff are friendly, especially the night staff gentleman who was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and again the staff very friendly. My personal preference is for tea and coffee in the room, which they didn’t have but that is my only problem. The area is quiet but very close to Limerick Colbert railway station, which suited me admirably. I would stay here again.

Last minute decision to stay in Limerick. Stumbled on this jewel. Only regret is we couldn’t stay longer. No time to enjoy the spa but the bar and breakfast were lovely. The staff was friendly but there was a strong odor in the bedroom and I couldn't believe that there was no coffee in the room . The front desk did bring some up but there really should be a machine in the room. We stayed here because of proximity to Shannon airport so it served that purpose.

Don’t book a period type room. The Georgian rooms are very tired and an odd mish mash of bits. There is also no ventilation or elevator on that side so skip it. The newer rooms would be a better choice

We cannot say enough good things about No. 1 Pery. We stayed in a heritage period style room...it was fabulous. It felt like we were staying in a B and B. The room was clean and quaint. The staff was fabulous- they offered so much help and advice, even helping us book some things to do. The food was fabulous- we definitely suggest getting the breakfast...the fruit and bread spread was fresh and delicious, and the hot plates were fabulous. We tried just about everything while there, and there wasn't a thing on the menu we could complain about. The onsite spa was amazing, too. While researching this trip, we read through some other reviews: 1) This is a boutique hotel, so yes, it does not have many \"modern\" amenities (gym, pool, A/C, etc.). If you want modern, look somewhere else...otherwise, you will be absolutely delighted with your stay. 2) It is in the city, so yes, there will be noise from the city, especially if you sleep with the windows open (as we did). Where it is located, it does quiet down later in the evening once the sun goes down (which is later than we were used to). Frankly, we found the birds to be more of a nuisance than the sounds of the city. Overall, we slept well the whole time there.
The hotel is perfectly located to explore the western part of the island...there's even a train station a few blocks away so you can hop a train to just about anywhere.

The parking area was small, but we appreciated that it was free. The gate to the parking area has a sensor (like an elevator door) and the gate hit our car when we were pulling into the parking area.

Ripoff artists run this hotel.. Don't stay here. Jacked up hotel bil at the conclusion of my trip because I had a friend stay with me last minute. Which I informed them of when they showed up - and they didnt say anything until they presented me with a €315 bill at the end. Do not stay here.
