Rooms are clean and well looked after, hot powerful shower, staff are extremely friendly.
Fantastic breakfast, fresh cooked omelettes and pancakes and a large selection of cheese, meat and fruits / yoghurts etc. mansoud ( probs spelt wrong) was an exceptional member of staff- I think he was the head chef, he always looked after us and made us feel welcome.

The best thing about this hotel was the hot power shower. Thank goodness for it after a sleepless night due to the bar next door having an outside party from 11.30pm - 4am.
This party happens EVERY TUESDAY AND FRIDAY. You have to be able to sleep with this noise because there is zero soundproofing.
The bed was fine and room size fine.
Annoyingly the plug point I plugged my phone charger in was faulty and didn’t work. I found out my phone hadn’t charged I was leaving.

The worst part was a very argumentative Karam on reception.
He was curt at check in and gave me almost no information apart from telling me I was all-inclusive and gave me WiFi pass that would only work in public areas (it didn’t even). At checkout I told him about the good shower, all night party and i also mentioned I’d not had any food despite being all-inclusive. I hadn’t found the restaurant and when he checked me in he hadn’t given me any information about restaurants/times/ meals/pool/towels etc etc.
He told me he gave me an envelope with this information- he did not. He only gave me WiFi- not an envelope with information.
But he argued and argued, could not see any error and as I had already checked out I left.
Karam has worked there for 16 years he told me and he was the weakest link of all…

The hotel is in good location. Shops are walking distance. The hotel looks very run down and needs of modernisation. The toilet needs updating, flash keeps breaking down. The hotel does not meet 4 star hotel, it's more like a 3 star hotel. Staff was friendly but they need to have professional boundaries with hotel guests.

This is listed as a 4 out of 5 star property. Shouldn’t be. Very tired property.

The main reason for the 1 star, though, is the staff. Just trying to shake us for money the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Examples: a taxi from there to the airport is 15 minutes. They wanted $27 for that. Without blinking an eye. Ridiculous. I paid that to go from Dahab to Sharm El Sheikh which is 1h20m drive. or, as I was checking in and turned to the counter to show my passport, a dude from the hotel had grabbed my bag and walked off with it. Luckily I saw him. Last example: after we had checked out a guy from the hotel ran after us and wanted us to sign for some kind of order.

But the property is tired too: A/C in the room barely worked. Safe was so small it didn’t even hold a laptop. Shower drain was so clogged up that the entire bathroom floor would be flooded when taking a quick shower. The shower did have a lot of pressure.

This hotel is beautiful and reasonably priced! I loved the vibe and decor. The pool was nice, the beach is shallow and had lots of schools of fish. There is a nice reef for snorkeling.

If there were zero stars as a rating that is what I would have given to Lido hotel at Sharm El Sheikh. Although my expectations were set low , this hotel did manage to disappoint me further on all aspects.
- Accommodations: I have purchased 6 day beach front suite which was very outdated, and needed many renovations. The furniture was very old and dirty, full of awful stains. The bed was very hard and the pillows were smelly. First night the air conditioning was not working .The curtains were coming out of their tracks. Other than the entertaining but useless towel sculptures the house keeping needs to be vastly improved, all furniture updated.
- Breakfast: awful, awful. Coffee machine was broken and the breads were stale and of very poor quality. The egg bar was ok , but nothing special to write about. The variety was minimal. They even ran out of strawberry jam.
- Customer Service : This one tops the list . Starting from the reception, the personnel were very unhelpful and rude. During a dispute about second guest in the suite, they treated us with disrespect, creating a full-on confrontation, raising their voices in front of other guests. We ended up in the tourism police to resolve the dispute.
Although we did not stay in the hotel for any reason other than to sleep and have breakfast during our diving vacation, they managed to ruin our visit with extremely rude behaviour . Do not stay in this hotel

This is my second time staying at the Lido Sharm it’s a small hotel. The staff here are excellent, the rooms are clean, they have a good laundry service, the food is very good, it’s in a quiet area, it’s next to the Naama bay boat jetty where the Dive boats leave from.

Lido Sharm Hotel is close to Naama Bay center, Diving center nearby and had its own beach. The hotel is a bit old but very well maintained. The food is fresh and excellent, every meal has fresh grill outside.
The staff is very well trained and customer service is excellent. Hotel provide shuttle bus to/fro airport - 25 euro per 2 persons one way.
We had an excellent holiday at this hotel.

I have stayed Naama Bay area plenty of times but the first time at Lido hotel due to my friend taking a package holiday there. Although a 4* hotel I found the hotel to be comfortable and satisfactory. Staff a big plus, very helpful on reception, Ahmed in the buffet restaurant very attentive as was both Mohamed at beach bar and Mohamed supplying the beach towels and beds.

my booking was garden view was given a garage view,to up grade hade to pay 140 us dollars,even the hotel had many rooms empty infact half of the hotel was empty,the buffet food specialy the salads was recyled from the food of day before,they charge me 30us dollars for my cab to return to the airport wich cost 12 us dollars to go from the airport to the hotel when i arrived,other wise beach is amusing and view was wondrefull ,waiters were helpfull and polite,maybe i will return to this hotel but i will orgnize evrything

Perfect location for enjoying the diving area (very close to the jetty where the diving boats depart in the morning) as well as the nightlife of Na’ama Bay. Very clean and with impeccable friendly service. This time I girly a room on the pool floor (actually, the top floor) and it was great

Wonderful location close to the sea. I did dive with the divsenter at the hotel. Good equipment and great service. Hassan were an excellent guide under water. Ahmed did also take very well care of me and served me chilled white wine at sunset time. I came to Sharm to to relax and get energy. Lido did deliver and I am now back in Nigeria recharged and ready to work.

I had such a terrible experience with this hotel. They had a problem with the Hotels.com reservation and I had to wait over 2 hours for a room and on top of that they double charged me. The check in guy was rude and didn't pay attention when he talked to me. I had many, many issues with the hotel, the manager Sayed is abrupt and never offered anything for my many inconveniences, he just wanted to charge me more. The wifi is non existent, it's extremely noisy in the rooms and they need to be updated. The food and beverage manager Adel was extremely helpful and does a great job. It was a horrendous introduction to Egyptian hospitality and service. I would never stay here again and would suggest that you look for a different hotel.

This hotel was a disaster! I strongly don't recommend it for tourists.
It was vary noisy, local kids running between rooms shouting and screaming! We called reception but they didn't do any thing.

The food was awful and always finishes before you can start.

Staff came inside my room while we were a sleep to take the \"iron machine\"!

Local Loud party in front of our room suddenly at night without informing gusts! So basically you cant sleep day and night!

Beds are not clean and not comfortable!

I strongly dont recommend this hotel.

no more Iberotel lido , no more recommendation

Due to my previous wonderful stay with my family at Iberotel lido during Jun 2012, I have made this booking to my friend Mohamed El Naggar and his wife as a honey moon holiday from 10/05 to 14/05/2016. upon arrival they were disappointed, the hotel management have been changed there is no more Iberotel lido , hotel name now is Lido
sharm and it doesn't belong now to Jaz hotels .the furniture is very old and the hotel need renovation .
they asked for an iron,the iron cable was torn and you could be shocked by the current, the iron board was damaged. in the bathroom they put the shampoo in a big bottle hanging on the wall like general toilets. there was no a dinner buffet, you have to give the order and wait ,they bring their selection of salads not yours.
I want to apologize to Mohamed and his wife for the bad memories during their honey moon holiday. and I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great Honeymoon at the beach

The hotel was amazing the room was fabulous and the staff was friendly.
the negatives was the WiFi was down all 5 days couldn't send photos
back home. We had the breakfast included in our package, when we
got there we opted to up grade to include dinner too. 1st day at dinner
I asked for a glass of water and was denied my booking was not
'all inclusive' I was informed so my glass of water had to be a purchased
bottle of water and had to sign for it to be booked to my room then
I got my water. An amazing dinner buffet that doesn't include any kind
of drink not water not coffee. Breakfast had unlimited coffee or tea and
water and milk for cereal. What's the difference?

Super hotel in a fab position. Rooms are a good size with a lovely sized balcony to chill out on! Hotel staff are super friendly and nothing is too much for them. We stayed b&b.. Breakfast was good, looking over the bay. We went for a diving break-and the central position of this hotel was perfect!! Only down side was the noise that travelled over the bay at night-but the ac can drown it out!! All rooms have a sea view.

A very pleasant surprise

I chose this place for its location for my 18 night stay in February to complete my dive instructor course and took the B&B option. The room was more than ample with a terrace, TV, big bathroom, hot hot shower and a big double bed that was as commfortable as any other I have slept in and most importantly an air con unit that I had to turn off because I was TOO COLD! On the value for money front, it really was tops. I expected cheap and cheerful but ended up with mid range and very cheerful. The staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything. The food is good, the pool area very cool, reception incredibly helpful. I WILL USE THIS PLACE AGAIN On the down side the decor was a little tired, on some nights the noise from other resorts could be a bit much and the room safe was not big enough to get my laptop in.

Fantastic Location and super staff

I have spent one week at the Lido Iberotel and I really recommend it. The location is really amazing if you like a sea view room, the roof pool is a real surprise and offers you one of the best views of Sharms and its surroundings.
The staff was great, very professional and helpful. Great cleanliness.
The limitations was on the breakfast which has a large choice of option but is a bit weak in terms of breads and juces. The beach is not too big but ok. I only recommend the hotel to be careful with excurssionns' offers. I found the dolphine visit, expensive and with no correspondence between price and value. The hotel should provide correct information on activities even if they are not managed by them.

This was a nice hotel due to a great location on naama bay and close proximity to shopping and good location , this room was very clean and nice but they only give u a sheet and no blanket , I did not like this as I get cold easily, even though it may be warm in sharm , a room should always have a blanket on the bed , to use it should be a choice not option. The breakfast buffet was ok , but the dinner buffet was tasty and better, except they need some better desert selections , I booked ok Expedia and option to start other night and was charged 3 times the price I payed , and not told that I wouldn't be given the same rate, I think notice should at least been given . overall this was a nice hotel and I would book there again ... But only if I got the rate I get on expedia. Given people a one time curtosey isn't going to break your bank and keeps people coming back.... take notice.

Exactly what we wanted

We had a great stay at the Lido - in large part down to the excellent staff who were always smily and helpful. The pool deck is great, a proper sun trap (the pool itself is quite small) and it's a real plus to have a private beach as well. The hotel is in a brilliant location, 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants and shops in Naama Bay but also right on the sea front. Eating breakfast outside with the waves right at your feet was lovely.

One minus - no free wifi. But there are a million cafes that offer it, so not a huge problem.

Special mention to the amazing selection of breakfast pastries - the strawberry tart thing was especially good!

The hotel itself is really nice and the staff are beyond helpful and welcoming.

The hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible, they were very friendly and added nice touches as we were there for a 21st birthday.

The hotel is quite small so the staff recognise and remember you, which is nice !

The facilities were very good, especially the roof top pool !

Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and as we spent the majority of our time at the hotel and around the pool it was nice to get to know the staff. We felt very at home :)

This hotel was a good choice for me as I was visiting Sharm el Sheikh on a diving holiday and didn't spend much time in the hotel during the day.
I had a Superior sea facing double room which I spent a few hours in per day. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There were small niggles like the drain in the shower didn't empty fast enough and the shower cubicle itself was quite small. Although breakfast was included the staff didn't seem too happy to serve you if you turned up early ie at 7am (times 7-10am) and the breakfast room got very hot due to the glass side and the fact they kept their doors open meaning it never got cool with the air conditioning.
The reception staff were very helpful and happy to allow slightly late checkout.

Although most hotels and dive centres offer free pickup from the airport be warned the taxi fee from the hotel is 20 euros. If you walk outside the main naama bay area u can get a cab for about half this price- as I was travelling in the middle of the day and it was very hot I didnt go for the latter option!

This hotel offered excellent value for money but don't expect a UK 4 star experience!

Great hotel in ideal location.
Very comfortable rooms most with views of the beach and bay.
Service was excellent.
Internet service was disappointing. You can buy half hour and hour vouchers for 20/40 Egypt pounds - which is very expensive for very slow internet; also, these vouchers expire afer 24 hours!

Great place to stay very clean, its a bit of a walk from the road to get there as taxi cannot get into the street surrounding it. So you need to take the hotel shuttle of course they crab you in the pocket for the shuttle as its 20 euros per person. Beach is great and the food is excellent.

This hotel is OK if you are looking for a simple dive hotel. If you are going to Sharm for a vacation, however, it's terrible.

Note on location: it's close to the clubs, but impossible to get a cab and very loud at all hours

-1 for bad, expensive food
-1 for the shower not working, and constant temperature changes
-1 for cold pool, boiling jacuzzi
-1 for staff speaking very poor english

Ibertol Lido - perfect location lovely hotel

The hotel was set on the edge of Naama Bay within an easy walk to the whole bay, the nightlife, bars, restaurants and shops.

Due to it being on the edge of the bay though it was in a lovely peaceful location.

The pool area, food, service and cleanliness was excellent.

The only slight negative were the very very hard bed and the limited soudproofing between rooms - raised voices could be heard from the adjacent room at 2.30 one morning which woke us up and kept us awake.

However neither of these very slight negatives would put us off and if/when we return to Egypt we will definitely stay at the hotel again.

It was perfect for the relaxing break that we were after and we wish we had been able to stay longer!

Lovely hotel in a great location in Naama Bay right by the sea. Not too busy with a nice pool area and private beach. Hotel staff were lovely especially Mostafa in reception, Mansoor in the restaurant and the pool attendant. Naama Bay is a 2 min walk with loads of shops and restaurants. Only slight downside is the noise at night from Pacha nightclub but you get used to it and it really wasn't a problem. Overall a great holiday and would definitely stay in Lido again

I stayed 4 nights in Lido hotel, Actualy I was afraid (cose of less reputation and less reviews)at a time of booking ,but after chick in at hotel, the hotel is just perfect. I took 2 connected rooms with sea view. rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was good, beach is small but clean, swiming pool is perfect. The hotel location is good (walking distance to naama bay).I will stay again in the same hotel

Nice hotel at acceptable price

good location about 3 min walking to the nama bay where most of activity in sharm is taking place the only issue about the location when check-in or out you have to walk all the way from the taxi area with your Luggage through the main street of nama bay ( almashaya ) which is uncomfortable but you can avoid that if you ask for airport pick-up and drop-off from the hotel.
the room was good comfy bed with nice view on the sea ,no LCD TV just small old tv i. also there is only shower no bathtub .only concern about the room was the AC which was weak but they solve the problem .
the breakfast was nice . many choices and selection
other facilities like pool ,bar ,resturant and beach was OK but i can not judge cause i just passed by but i wished if there is a gym at this great hotel
i recommend this hotel for anyone looking for good hotel at great price range and for sure i'll return back some day to sharm and the lido hotel in the future

Not the Marriott but good for the money.

The air conditioner is set up that it can only be turned on if you're in the room with the room key card. Which is terrible if its really hot out since you have to start the cooling down process all over again. The beach access was really nice though. Only spent a day and a half here but the Red Sea is really awesome blue water with pretty fish.

A Unique Experience

One of the most interesting hotels I have been too. Fantastic location, small and very quiet.
Breakfast menu are limited. Dinner is also limited but tasty.

My stay at the Iberotel Lido

I thoroughly enjoyed the resort and all the surrounding amenities but one word of warning....Avoid this hotel at your peril unless you want to be kept awake due to the open air disco ( The Pasha) close by which is open until the early hours every morning

Very good option

Iberotel Lido may not be the most luxury hotel in Sharm el Sheikh but it's a very good 4 star hotel and a good cost/quality option. It's clean and comfortable, staff is very welcoming and helpful, breakfast is good and the bedroom has a good size.

The swimming pool is brilliant as it's heated and there's a jacuzzi, with a lovely view over the sea and Naama Bay.

The hotel is conveniently located, at the end of Naama Bay (although it's good to know normal taxis will not drive in Naama Bay so it's better to book airport transfer or private drivers).

The only drawback for a bedroom over the sea is the noise: at night the music from other hotels and night clubs is extremely loud and it's not possible to sleep with such noise... Fortunately music isn't on every night.

BEST IN SHARM el-SHEIKH, Naama Bay

Iberotel is one of the best hotels on Naama Bay, it's 2 seconds away from where all the action is on Naama Center. The hotel is beautiful and very low key they dont have corny musicand activities they let you do your own routine and are very helpful. I checked-in at 9am and they surprisingly had my room ready and let me check-in that early which was amazing.....they gave me very good recommendations. The rooms are beautiful and all facing the red sea, the breakfast was also very good...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This hotel has the best room views in Naama bay and fantastic pool with the sea view. Very friendly staff, The food selection for breakfast and dinner was very limited and avearge quality.

No Sea View Room

I was not at all happy with our stay here and would not recommend it to others because you just don't know what you will get there. We reserved a sea view room (and our printed out reservation confirmed this). We were given a room with no view at all (we could see a staircase and a bit of the pool). They told us they didn't have any sea view rooms left, so that was what we got and they couldn't do anything about it.

We tried being overly polite and asked for some sort of compensation. They wouldn't give us a better room or any money back, but eventually offered us each one buffet dinner. All of the signs around the hotel advertised the buffet dinner as all you can eat and one drink (beer or soda). The food was horrible, but we figured at least we got a free drink - until they brought us a bill for the drinks!

When we explained that we read this was included they told us that it was only included to those who payed for the dinner, not anyone who received a complimentary buffet dinner. They insisted we pay for the expensive drinks, so in the end they made even more money off of us. We never would've eaten at the horrible buffet if we didn't think it was our pittance compensation for screwing up our reservation. I was appalled at the service here. It was the only hotel on our entire Egypt trip that was a disappointment.

Lovely hotel, watch for the \"extras\"

We enjoyed staying here for a week. It's very close to the centre of Na'am Bay (5 min walk) if that's your thing. I preferred the pool area on the roof as it was quieter and had great views of the bay. The beach is noisy and neighbouring hotels seem to take up every available square inch with their loungers. This hotel is on its own little (artificial?) promontory at the end of the bay and so is separated from the rest of the beach.

The hotel staff were great, we only stayed b&b as there are loads of eating choices at much better value in town. Happy with the room and facilities in the hotel. Would definitely recommend it if you like to be in the middle of things.

One note: don't ask the hotel to organise your transport back to the airport, you pay hugely over the odds (20 euros for a 15 minute ride) - better to catch a local cab and haggle.

best choice would without a doubt go back

We stayed in Iberotel Lido for our honey moon and being perfectly honest we couldn't say a bad word about our stay. The staff were so helpful and patient and there was never a sense that you had to tip for the same. I was sceptical at first thinking this couldn't be for real but they were genuine. Location wise the hotel is at the end of the strip of hotels in Sharm so it was great you were only a few minutes walk from the centre with none of the noise. The hotel is quite big feels very spacious and yet has only 60 orso rooms. The food is excellent. We would definately recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Sharm

we enjoyed our stay in this hotel and the staff was friendly and the location was adorable. I only blame them for not changing the bed sheets every day. We stayed there 3 nights and the bed sheet was never changed.

Das Hotel besticht durch seine direkte Lage am Meer und bietet somit idealen Zugang für Strandliebhaber. Allerdings wird die Nachtruhe durch die nahegelegene Bar, die bis Mitternacht lautstarke Partys veranstaltet, erheblich gestört.

Die Größe des Zimmers ist angemessen, allerdings sind die Duschräume sehr klein. Die Aussicht auf das Meer ist zwar ein Pluspunkt, jedoch wird dieser durch den Lärm von der gegenüberliegenden Bar stark beeinträchtigt.

Es ist überraschend und enttäuschend, dass das Personal an der Rezeption kaum Englisch spricht, was die Kommunikation erschwert.

Das Restaurant ähnelt mehr einer Studentenkantine als einem Hotelrestaurant, mit sehr begrenzter und täglich gleicher Auswahl an Speisen. Für Gäste, die auf der Suche nach kulinarischer Qualität sind, bietet dieses Hotel leider keine zufriedenstellende Lösung. Zusätzlich müssen Abendgetränke bei Halbpension separat bezahlt werden.

Fazit:
Das Lido Sharm Hotel könnte für Reisende geeignet sein, die unkomplizierten Zugang zum Strand priorisieren und wenig Wert auf kulinarische Erlebnisse oder umfangreichen Service legen. Wer jedoch Wert auf komfortable Zimmer, vielfältige Gastronomie und effizienten Service legt, sollte sich möglicherweise nach Alternativen umsehen.

The hotel personnel were very helpful and kind, they even helped me to buy a ticket to Cairo. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, by the beach and the area has lots of supermarkets and restaurants.
The breakfast buffet was ok for being in Egypt, but it can improve a bit.

Bon service de la part du personnel qui nous as permis de laissé nos bagages et d'utiliser leurs installation une journée avant notre réservation. La vue sur la terrasse et à partir de la chambre est de toute beauté. Malheureusement nous avons eu de grandes difficulté à dormir puisque l'hôtel voisin avait installé un scène discothèque juste à côté de notre chambre et le vacarme étai intense. L'hôtel se trouve loin de la route principal et les taxis/minivan pour expédition cherche à éviter de s'y rendre.

Nous n'étions qu'une quinzaine de clients lors de mon séjour du 2 au 16 mars. Le personnel était aux petits soins. Par contre, la nourriture était très répétitive, toujours les mêmes légumes vapeur (carottes, chou-fleur, brocolis et courgettes).
La chambre toujours agrémentée de motifs sur le lit composés de linges de salle de bain blancs et de piscine beiges. Magnifique

La ubicación es buena , la admosfera del hotel es muy relajante. No es hotel para europeos. El concepto servicio no existe. La comida es horrible por su elaboración. El WiFi no tiene nombre osea no existe. El mantenimiento no existe al igual que el protocolo Covid.

Tolles Hotel etwas veraltet, das Zimmer mit Seeblick ist ruhiger als andere. Die Musik an der Bar viel zu laut bis spät nach Mitternacht. Das Essen schlicht, nicht zu große Auswahl aber lecker und gutes Niveau. Für uns war das ein schönes Hotel, was wir nächstes Mal noch mal buchen würden.

Находиться в конце пешеходной улицы, такси туда не ходит, идти около 1км. Либо отельный трансфер.
Хороший завтрак.
После уборки недосчитались пляжного полотенца, пришлось скандалить, чтобы выдали новое.

Struttura a Naama Bay, vicina alla vita notturna (ma col senno di poi non ne vale la pena)ma con un brutto mare, hotel pulito con brutta spiaggia privata quasi sempre in ombra, bel ristorante a sfioro sul mare ma cibo pessimo. Camerieri gentili ma asfissianti, formula all inclusive risicata al massimo, niente snack, niente birra a pasto. Trasferimento per l'areoporto carissimo. Consiglio di soggiornare nei resort fuori da naama bay e venirci 2 sere col taxi. In due sere vedete tutto quel che c'é

Hotel agradable, en Naama Bay, a 5 minutos andando del centro, lo cual se agradece dado el nivel de gente y ruído que hay allí.
El hotel dispone de una pequeña playa pero el agua casi no cubre y la piscina de la azotea está siempre \"secuestrada\" por niños. Hotel para familias y parejas pero no ir si lo que se busca es conocer a gente...

Ennesima volta a sharm el Sheik...Sharm nel cuore.

Tutto perfetto...sembra di essere in una favola...tutti accoglienti e gentili..personale della sala ristorante e bar cordialissimi e gentilissimi...ne approfitto per fare un saluto e un abbraccio a tutti. Di sicuro ci ritorneremo...la camera era comodissima...camera doppia superior vista mare...e credetemi solo la vista mare ne vale tutto..letto enorme e comodissimo...tv...e tutto l'occorrente per fare caffè e tè in camera..per il mio compleanno mi hanno addirittura cantato la canzoncina e fatto una torta apposta piccina solo per me..grandissimi..il cibo al ristorante era buono ed abbondante...con molte varietà di scelta...e con una vista spettacolare...direttamente sul mare..ci ritorneremo sicuramente..e lo consiglio vivamente.. Dopo un giorno e già ne sentiamo la mancanza... spiaggia privata spettacolare con un pontile sul mare unico...con lettini morbidi, ombrelloni giganti e teli mare a disposizione...

Ok allt som allt.

Urkasst internet, bara 250 MB gratis, vilket inte ens spelar nån roll, för det fungerade sällan och dåligt. Väldigt varierande mat, även om buffén inte är stor. Personalen är bra, poolen på taket liten men uppvärmd, nära till allt.
