I initially booked one night at Jaz Sharm Dreams after fleeing a terrible experience at a hotel in Dahab, but ended up staying longer because of the warm hospitality!

The hotel was 5-star and is now 4-star. Some areas like the bathrooms could use updating, but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. As a solo female traveller, safety matters. I appreciated being given a room close to the main building. Rooms have safes and proper locks and latches, which made me feel secure.

There are SEVEN pools, including a heated pool with a jacuzzi and another with a swim-up pool bar. The main pool is lively with music and activities, while other pools are geared towards relaxation. Special thanks to Iraky, the pool supervisor who kindly helped me reserve one of the gorgeous canopy daybeds before the early risers :))

The animation team (Adham and Alan) were great at organising darts, volleyball, yoga and aqua aerobics but respectful of guests resting.

Food was 9/10 for all-inclusive. I enjoyed the salad stations and outdoor grill with fresh bread, chicken and kofta.

What really made the stay was the staff. Mahmoud, Karim and Maryam at reception were very kind throughout and upgraded me after my difficult arrival. Also big thanks to Mohamed from housekeeping, Chefs Hany + Adel, Mr Edam, Mohamed at the omelette station, Mahmoud, El Sayed, Karim and the attentive restaurant team.

What was meant to be a one-night stop turned into a really enjoyable stay. I’d happily return.

The Hotel is just beautiful. Every staff member that we came in contact with was just exceptional. They always went above and beyond. Food was lovely, with the buffet you would always have many varied options and even with fussy children, they never went hungry. All the Restaurant's on property were amazing. Rooms were immaculate and Housekeeping always left that wee surprise in your room that made you smile, some very creative art work with towels and fresh flowers. I would recommend the Hotel to anyone looking for that little bit of everything.

The location is truly beautiful and offers a serene atmosphere, along with a variety of activities available on the property. However, I would like to highlight an area for improvement regarding the dining options. There appears to be a limited selection of meals, and there have been instances of beverages being unavailable. Additionally, the absence of ice has resulted in warm drinks. Addressing these issues would significantly enhance the overall guest experience.

Located very conveniently in Naama bay. Sister resort Jaz Ferouz is across the road (you can use their services and beach if you are staying in either)
Pedestrianised Qabos street only 10 minutes walk where lots of shops and restaurants. Buffets good though bit repetitive.
Probably the best location.
Will certainly stay here again

Nice mid range hotel

Stay was ok, nice main pool. Waterpark access for free plus beach access from a sister hotel. Staff (apart from one small pool) weren’t super helpful and the main bar was almost unwelcoming to us. But all in all good value. Our first room was not clean and very run down but a swap was facilitated quickly.

Hotel was okay. Rooms could do with an upgrade and the pool could do with more shade. Most annoying problem of the holiday was the kids near swim up bar, at all times it was so busy and not enjoyable for this it should be adults only near the swim up bar!

This staff member ensures happiness is not a destination it’s a method of life. She really does make a huge difference in a positive way to the running of your hotel. Her smile, her attentiveness, her care is unfounded and real. She has a busy role in your organisation, but finds time to take care of all the guests needs. I worked in hotel and catering for over 10 years, and to find an employee like Alesia is very difficult.
My recommendation would be to keep her, look after her and allow her growth within your organisation as more senior posts become available. She will give you, the employer and your customers her all. Without a doubt she is made for management.

Worest vacation ever,don't loose your time & money

The worst stay experience I have ever had, this hotel doesn't deserve one start . I had to cancel my stay after 2 nights due to
1- Unclean places
2- Food caused health problems for all my family members.
3- Service delays, I do a request then I get a response after 12 hours even for simplest things like getting a clean glasses in the room.
4- Team is unprofessional and not even friendly.

Greeted at reception with incompetent staff no knowledge of stay had to email them my booking. Room was tired full of ants. The main restaurant was a free for all never a clean table no service the worst food ever I have experienced no managers visible to complain to. Whoever the general manager is of this shambles should be ashamed.

The reservation staff is a disaster. I used \"message hotel\" function in Expedia. Well they did reply my message they replied fast. But they never replied(or read) again after my second message.....that made me call their reservation but it was another hell....

I called reservation office but ALWAYS NO ONE ANSWERS. do you know how many times I have called to actually reach a real person? 35 times!!!!!!! but that real human said he will transfer me to another person and finally it ended up as no one answering again.....endless circle....

Nice resort close to Na’ama bay beach

The location is very conveniently close to the beach, that you can reach walking across the street and through another resort: five minutes maximum. The rooms are scattered across a park with several swimming pool, and they are reasonably maintained.

The phone line did not work and I could not call in. No one replied to my question submitted to their website. The website said there was airport pickup but there wasn’t. It also said free wifi, but the wifi wasn’t free. As well, my air conditioning didn’t work and it was very very hot. Lastly, my room stunk of cigarettes but they wouldn’t let me change rooms.

From the moment I arrived to check in at the ungodly hour of 04:30 the treatment I received was excellent (thank you to all front of house staff during my stay in particular Kareem) Midway through my stay I suffered a diving accident and once again the hotel was fantastic in organizing doctors and extending my stay in the same room, as I was unable to fly home, even whilst waiting for confirmation that the room had been paid for. The room itself was excellent, the bed ultra comfortable, the fridge well stocked and promptly replenished ever morning with the added bonus of a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities there (and again regularly replenished ever morning. The room cleanliness was again excellent and cleaned promptly between 8:30 and 9:30 every morning (I forget the name of my cleaner but a nicer man you couldn't meet. To the management, my room was 4110, the guy needs to be acknowledged as a first class member of your staff) In regards the pools (I forget how many there were) they were always clean and the pool bar staff always helpful, friendly and polite. A special mention needs to made for the towel man Ataa (I've probably misspelt his name) but he was like a man possessed all week long!! If you didn't change your towels every day he'd find you and insist he did it for you!!!! If, as I did on more than one occasion, you left your towels out at the end of the day he'd remove them, find out where you wished to reside the following morning and lay them out for you!!!

5 stars hotel with poor service

Check in took some time to prepare the room, although I reached at 8 pm. Room was average size and clean but the AC was noisy. Bathroom curtain was not clean! Breakfast was not that good. Service was poor as I need to call several times to got my room made up and get towels. Check out was fast.

A fraction of the cost

As a solo traveller, I enjoyed immensely spending long mornings at the sea which is just 2 minutes from the resort. My travel experience should have been in the thousands, but due to the low peak season I got my experience for a fraction of the cost.

I seldom left the hotel for their was very little need to go beyond the resort. The shopping mall had \"you aint going to find it cheaper\" bargains and the spa had great packages too. I opted out for dining out in restaurants and elected to have room service, which was above the quality of the hotel restaurants and a great bargain.

This experience has opened my eyes to the enormous benefits of an all inclusive resort and highly recommend this resort for a holiday.

firstly when i got to the hotel the taxi driver from hotel left a bag behind at the airport which had my passports, after an hour of finding them i ws giving a twin room when i booked a king room and non smoking, i have 2 kids so they asked if they can bring the 2 beds together, sure i refused as i booked a king with extra sofa bed then they moved me to king room that was suffocating coz it was a smoking room, again i refused coz my son have allergies, then was asked to wait at lobby after an hour or so finally they found me what i booked for, in total i waited about 3 hours just to get a room and not to forget the stress i went through of my missing passports, next day a manager called coz i did survey about hotel and what i went through, he said he heared about what happened to me and he wants to make it up to me to make my stay enjoyable , i stayed 5 nights with my kids and he never called me back. very bad experience on the first day i arrived which suppose to be fulll of excitement, beside that it was ok but i suggest the chef to change the menu on different days, 5 night there 5 nights of same food which made me go to anothet hotel restaurants to eat different kind of foods, staff was really friendly, in my room there were so many big ants and also in my friends room, sorry for this review but thats what happened.

Absolute garbage!

I have never reviewed a hotel but I feel obligated to warn others. This hotel is absolute garbage in every which way. Food, service, cleanliness and everything else about the property is absolute garbage. Im puzzled as to how thier management has the courage to actually approach guests asking about thier stay!! Stay away at any cost.

My stay in Hilton was a bad experience. The hotel wasn't 5 star and it was more of a 2/3 star hotel. For a brand like Hilton hotel chain you would expect the hotel to provide free wifi not get charged to use wifi, and also expect flat screen tv not crt tv in rooms.

Nice hotel, about 10 years ago.
The staff were great, but the hotel lets itself down as it is just too old and tatty.
The walk to the beach was fine. But trying to get a sunbed on the beach front is near impossible, unless you want to get up at 0630 with certain guests!! and leave your towels there. Very disappointing to see a lot of these beds were not actually used all day, just empty with a hotel towel draped over them. I asked security to move them but understandably they couldn't due to security claims etc.
The pool is old as the tiles are coming away from the walls and floors. There are no toilets around the pool, so you can get an idea where people go, especially around the swim up bar.
Booked a taxi through expedia. Cost 35 pounds. We could never get hold of the company both from England and in Egypt to arrange transfers. Still have to claim this back.
Also, be very careful when booking all inclusive as for some reason when i booked it stated all inclusive. When i got to the hotel i was Bed and Breakfast only.

This is a very nice hotel. There are two hotels, one on the ocean side of the road and the other across the street. The pools are beautiful. There are a lot of them so you have a great deal of privacy and quiet. There are pools for families and others for adults. A very nice place.

I booked the hotel on B&B basis. Staff seemed to be not ready for people without wristband with all inclusive. They made me feel like it was a hassle for them having to fill a bill for me to sign. I was also told off by the man in charge of the towels because I failed to bring them back the night before. Was it be accuse I am a woman? Or because they have no customer service skills?

Amazing Stay for two

This was out first resort holiday and we really enjoyed ourselves. The hotel was kept clean by the staff who were pleasant and very helpful. Hilton Dreams is complimented by Hilton Fayrouse which is situated across the road and has an amazing beach.
We stayed B&B and the breakfast was an open buffet. not to everyones taste but ample choice to cater for all.

everything was too much trouble! Not all inclusive so it was a palava waiting to sign for every single drink. Couldn't set up a tab, i think they thought i would run away!! asked to pay for a late check out - NO! can i just use another room maybe if mine is booked the same day NO! anything you can do for me or suggest? NO! At 12.03 they came knocking to throw me out, i stayed poolside by my room and they finally went in to clean it about 4pm. So much for no chance of a later check out!

The best of all is the staff. Specially the assistant front desk manager (Tamer Elhabrouk). He is really trying together with his colleagues to give the guests the best and unforgetable experience ever in the hotel by solving any problem.

You get what you pay for

The best thing about this hotel is its location: you can walk to the main strip of Naaama Bay in 5-10 min. The private beach is across the street and nothing spectacular. If you like seeing colourful fish and scuba, then you might be pleased. I was able to upgrade to all-inclusive for $40 per night, which got me two extra meals (lunch & dinner) and free drinks (local spirits and wine only). The local spirits / wines are terrible and the food is both limited and mediocre. You can only eat for free at one restaurant and the snack bars. The waiters are also highly impatient and will remove your plate (even if full of food) if you leave your table for even 2 min to go get a drink or other items from the buffet. Several times my unfinished meals were taken away. I found this hugely frustrating. The rooms are badly in need of upgrading, although the grounds are pretty and well maintained.

Such a shame!

We have been visiting Hilton Dreams for many years and it saddens me to write that the quality and overall standard of this hotel has gone down hill. It used to be a nice hotel with a good location and fantastic service. Now it looks old and dated with a need to be more organised with their restaurants and food quality. What I can't take away from this hotel is that the staff always try to please and are always as helpful as possible.

We booked this hotel thinking it was 5* but it was worst then 2* at least the 2* u know wat ur getting. The rooms where in bad condition, Ac making noise, floor tiles breaking, no customer service and above all no free wifi, had to pay 18 English pounds for 72hours on 1 mobile and the reception was very bad. Complained about Ac noise but staff took no notice, had to call for house keeping to change bed sheets and was charged. Overall avoid this hotel, dnt think it a real Hilton 5* hotel.

The All inclusive was rubbish cheap nasty drinks the snack bar had 1 thing a day burger n chips 1 day hotdog n chips the next day ect ect. Icecreams were extra charge .
The water park next door looks almost derelict and is an extra charge . Very poor entertainment .
But on the plus side the staff were very good probably the best thing about the hotel.

1st time all inclusive and I was very happy with the Hotel overall.
Nearby Shops and Markets very interesting but too many of the traders hassle and annoy you, especially if you are on your own. Lots of different restaurants to choose from.
Sharm Casino is very poor; no local currency allowed, only US dollars. If you bring Stirling then you have to change to US dollars and THEN buy chips!

every thing was excellent. the only remark relates to some guests' behavior at the pool and the open buffet. you need to install bigger signs with the pool etiquette & food hygiene (some guests were picking food with their bare hands). some waiters were not paying attention or were busy making plates and tea for ....? location is excellent. housekeeping is excellent. reception staff, concierge and security are all helpful smiling courteous.

A lot of fun at Hilton Dreams

I stayed there with my family (wife and two boys, 8 & 9). All of us had great time. We also found several families there from Egypt, UK and eastern Europe. We chose the half board option (breakfast and dinner only) and it turned out to be perfect for us (we do not drink alcohol). There is a nice supermarket outside the hotel and we bought extra juice and snacks for the kids for the day time while they are either at the pool or at the beach. The beach is great and awesome snorkeling while the water si just knee high (ideal for small kids). Of course you can always go deeper.
We also had tickets to Cleopark as a bonus. We went there twice since we already had the tickets, but I would not recommend buying tickets for it though if you have to pay for them. I think between the pools and the beach, you should have enough water fun.
In summary, I would certainly recommend it and would go there again in a heart beat.

Excellent hotel, great facilities, great staff and fantastic security. Each member very helpful and understanding. Prompt service each time. Minor points would perhaps be the food was bit basic and more choice should have been on offer, drinks often were late or forgotten, and I would have liked the snack and drink and ice-creams to have been available all day. Otherwise a brilliant place to stay.

not a 5 star hotel... 3 at most

Booked a King Deluxe Room with advance payment. On arrival I asked to upgrade to a pool view to be near friends. The front desk staff told me I would be able to do so, but then instead of charging me the difference, I was charged for the full cost of the room. Finally after waiting for an hour for the staff to fix it, they decided to credit me for things I might use in the hotel. Did not end up using anything and had to be refunded in the end of the stay which took another hour for them to figure out. Also, was put into a room with twin beds and told they could convert it king bed. Finally got transferred to a king bed. Frustrated after the whole paying twice debacle. Other than that the place is old and the tiles in the bathrooms are broken sloppily repaired with grout. This is not a 5 star hotel... 3 at most-- especially compared to the real 5 star places like Stella Di Mare, Ritz Carlton, etc. Horrible breakfast, horrible food at the bar.

Good hotel for families and couples

Hilton Sharm Dreams Resort
The cleanliness of the hotel and its grounds are great but I would not come here again as there was loud techno music blasting from the poolside bar all day which ruins the atmosphere and its hard to relax and read a book. Some of the songs had explicit lyrics which I thought was inappropriate considering there were a lot of young children in the pool. I found the staff very attentive and helpful though I thought the spa staff and diving reps were a bit too pushy and they would not accept no for an answer and I found it quite tiring saying no several times when they tried to sell me massages or treatments from the spa. I eventually had a massage at the spa and it was a very good sports massage unfortunatly I treated myself to a Turkish style scrub which was anything but relaxing and he rubbed my skin raw which left me in agony and unable to sunbathe for a few days. I have had proper Turkish baths in Turkey so I know the difference between a good one and a bad one. The food was good but mostly catering for Arabic and Russian tastes which is fair enough as that's who most of the clientele seem to be.

Hilton on the beach has better aminities

they have to get rid of the little TV! they advertised sea view but non of the room have see veiw. I will go back for the service of the employees only not for the Hotel.

The hotel was fine, however, some things are lacking, like at the breakfast buffet they never had enough cups, it took forever to get what you needed. Another bad thing of the hotel is that they are blasting very loud music until midnight and nobody can sleep, as it is way too loud. I called the front desk several times but they could not care and nothing was done. There were always only a few people around the loud music and most people were in bed and waned to sleep which was not possible. They need to change that. Also they charge for internet which is absolutely ridiculous. In this day and age, internet should be free at all times.
The food was awful, it looked not fresh at all and I only ate a toast and a boiled egg for 9 days which got quite boring, as most foods looked terrible. Otherwise the rooms were very nice and comfortable.

Stayed 2 day's at this hotel with my wife and was not impressed. Mind you most 5 star hotels aare like 4 star in naama bay.

There was some brown grime/stain on the drawer next to the bed. Bathroom needed decorating.

We put a do not disturb sign out and someone decided to come in and check the fridge to see if we had any thing from it.

Room was cleaned but no toilet paper was put in and same goes for soap.

Best service I've experienced in Sharm.

I've been in Sharm for several months working, and finally got some time off to do my own thing. I chose the Hilton Dreams for two main reasons: the familiarity of the name, and the price (very reasonable). The staff was amazing, the hotel grounds were beautiful and well kept, the room was perfect every day and everything you need is within the walls. If you desire to venture out to Naama Bay, it's just a relatively short walk down the road. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Sharm.

Very good, could have been better though

Nice hotel, excellent location but had to pay for so many extra's eg wifi. Rooms were clean and I would have scored the hotel higher had we not experienced technical problems with things not working eg hairdryer, TV (had to be changed three times!) eventually we got moved to another room. Restaurants and leisure facilities were excellent, several pools, fitness centre was very good but again had to pay to get into water park which I thought was part of the hotel (Cleo Park)

Good quality, good value.

We had a junior suite, not all inclusive. Very cheap to order room service and eat in the restaurants (Chilli con carne at the Tex Mex was less than £2.50) and plenty of restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. Bed and breakfast worked out very well for us and we couldn't see that there'd be any advantage going all inclusive.

Eight pools to choose from - most days we could find a pool all to ourselves.

Overall I think the Hotel is excellent! The rooms could do with modernising. Staff are very friendly . It is walking distance from Namma Bay, and has a direct/ free access to hilton private beack across the road. You can get to old market for 20 Egyptian Pounds, via taxi. same price for soho square. (remember to haggle). Its much cheaper via bus but I didnt use that. But it is in a very nice location.

A quality 5* tourist hotel

Negatives:
- The beds are a bit hard and the furniture a bit old but all in good on condition.
- The pools (there are 9) need a little bit of quality/long term repairs in places.
- We stayed B&B but most do AI, which I wouldn't have wanted as the main buffet dining area is clean but very dated. Lunch looked quite good from the BBQ area though but we didn't partake.

Positives:
- The grounds and building are very well maintained - loads of staff all day and night making sure the place is spotless.
- 10 minutes walk into Naama Bay (a real plus point for us).
- Beach area (part of the sister hotel over the road) is big and well maintained - surprising good snorkeling even in this major tourist bay.
- Ultimately its about value for money and at £56 a night (B&B) it is amazing value!

This hotel is unbelievable, we got checked into a room that was clearly not maintained, the fridge and air con were not working and there is hair inside the freezer, was really disgusting .

We asked if there was any villa available and they still put us into similar lowly maintained room, we again asked for the engineering to fix the aircon then we just simply gave up, totally not up to standard. Even though we have informed more than 3 employees already but still didn't offer any solution nor one apology.

This hotel is definitely the worst hotel we have stayed in. Due to the condition and level of maintenance for the room, we didn't even dare to use the hotel facilities, would not recommend anyone.

An All Inclusive hub

Stayed only as a hotel guest, many all inclusive guests. Stayed here for 2 nights, not as pleasant an atmosphere for a couple looking for some R&R. Food was not great and beach is shared with the slightly more expensive Fairouz across the street so take this as the cheaper option if you prefer. Very close to the main Naama Bay shopping area though. Stayed at Novotel on the last day and very much preferred the atmosphere in that hotel; more tranquility.
