Ils s’annoncent comme un hôtel avec le prix qui vient avec mais c’est un hostel. Aucune réception pour accueillir les clients. L’état de la chambre laisse beaucoup à désirer, draps tachés, rouille dans la salle de bain. N’indique pas qu’il y a des frais pour la navette à l’aéroport mais il y en a. Aucune insonorisation. J’ai pris une boisson et malgré le fait qu’il était indiqué 495 pesos sur le menu, l’employé m’a chargé 550 pesos. Accès facile à la plage et bel environnement aux alentours dans boca chica. Endroit qui ne vaut pas son prix.

I enjoyed the hotel breakfast, fresh made. The hotel is on the beach and the staff makes sure you have drinks and food if needed. The beach was beautiful, but you will get asked if you want a massage several times a day. I traveled solo so I didn't walk around the neighborhood by myself. Hotel is clean, bed was comfortable, and shower had hot water and great water pressure. Older building but kept up well. All the staff was very welcoming.

The room was bad, ac wasn't working, owner's son was notified but he seems not to care so we had to spend the night without AC! Then we were moved to another room in the morning where the sink was broken and there was no water and nothing was done about it and we had to brush our teeth with my own bottle of water, the owner's son offered us a free meal like that was enough!! The stuff was amazing even the owner was nice but the hotel it's falling apart and needs lots of work. My friend asked for coffee and knowing the owner that there was coffee and all we were going through refused to give him coffee.
Atleas the kitchen was very clean and organized but again that hotel need lots of work before it can be called HOTEL. It's sad such a great area very convenient right inside the beach and walking distance to everything.

LOVED THIS PLACE!!!!The room was perfect, the treatment made me feel like a princess! I only have 3 suggestions: 1- to put a handle on the pool. 2- to have more \"criollo\" menu options. 3- to keep a good amount of Coke Zero available. The place felt like I was visiting my old relatives' house. So cozy, perfectly decorated and the cleanliness was impecable! I'll definitely stay there my next trip to DR.

Great Juneteenth stay

The location of the stay was perfect, literally steps from the beach--we were thankful for that. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff is A-1. The only problem I can say there is with the place, is the size of the beds. If you're on the smaller side, you have nothing to worry about. But if you're on the bigger side and plan on sharing a bed, you better choose a bigger bed

Horrible stay. Receptionist was not friendly. Went there with my elderly mother and we were placed on the third floor. Sink had a leak, shower curtain was too short, so the water from the shower got everywhere. Outdated windows, you can hear eveyone talking and laughing in the pool area and street. Music was blasting in the neighborhood until late. There’s a dog that barked the whole night. My mother brush her teeth and got sick. We stayed in other hotels in the area and this did not happen. The water smelled and tasted horrible, I’m lucky I did not get sick. Regret staying here.

the best part of this property is its beach. From all the options at Boca Chica, this beach appears to be the cleanest, wide, walkable beach. We love the beach. The property also is clean and well kept. The local street area is somewhat rundown but we had no safety issues. We paid extra for a balcony facing the beach and a larger room and we were very happy that we did so. We asked the service to clean our room each day and that kept the bathroom smell down. The complementary breakfast was very good, and other meals can be cooked for a fee. The food was good. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

The hotel staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was very fresh. It's certainly walkable on the beach side, but on the busy street side watch out for motorcycles! The waters are gorgeous. The deluxe beach room's view was limited, but overall a good stay!

The Hotel was very cute just as seen on pictures, the staff is super friendly the hotel is very clean, it’s right on the beach which is great!! The area is safe for tourists and is walkable there’s a lot of shops and restaurants/bars. Also there’s a massage lady named Cleotilde she’s AMAZING!! Make sure you check out 10/10. Only thing I would say is the hotel needs a few updates and more comfortable beds. Overall very good stay! I would definitely come back.

The staff was very friendly and acted quickly whenever I had any questions or needed help. They kept the property clean and tidy. The beach there was beautiful and they also kept that clean. I would recommend tourists to keep Hotel Zapata in mind if they want a beach vacation on a budget. Great value and I would definitely stay there again!

The staff at Zapata is amazing, day and night, the rooms are cleaned daily, breakfast is not special but fresh everyday. The only issue I had was with mosquitoes, so get your spray because they are not spraying, and it is mostly under the table at breakfast, so wear long pants for breakfast

Very clean everything. Those girls work very hard. Everybody is friendly. Just ask them what you need, they'll help you. Stay away from people outside on the beach, if they tell you, they know a good fish restaurant. We paid $140 at Comideria Yahiyria (not even a restaurant) for 3 fish, chips and salad. Eat at the Hotel Restaurant. Lovely old lady is a good cook. I will visit and stay here again.

The hotel was cozy. Very simple but it is very clean (they are consistently cleaning the place non stop). The employees are very friendly and welcoming. I felt very safe there. Right on the beach with ridiculously warm water. I would have no problem recommending this place to anyone. Only things I wish were different would be a small hotel sized refrigerator would be great in the rooms but that is the only small fault otherwise a great stay!

The rooms were nice, a/c worked, nice bed and balcony, my only real complaint was the bathrooms smelled, im a plumber so i knew right away what it was, the sink had no p-trap on it to keep the sewer smell out,just a straight tube connection to the drain, i had to keep the door closed so i wouldn't smell it,just a little 5$ part would've made the room smell a lot better, other than that, the staff was great, very helpful, this is a small hotel i think only about 10 rooms, which was one of the reasons I picked it, Staff was very helpful anything you needed they made it happen, wifi was a little spotty but I wasn't glued to my phone when I was there so no big deal, lots of bars/restaurants close by and the water was great, would definitely recommend

The major issue is the staff asked for cash for many of the services that was advertised as included. Luckily, I no better but patrons be aware and kindly remind them of there policies. The desk staff was very helpful with dining suggestions and a clinic for COVID testing. The balcony faced the beach and was great. The included breakfast consisted of eggs made to order, toast, fresh squeezed juice, and fruit. My only concerns were the air conditioner took a while to cool down the room, and the rustic floors creaked loudly.

Great location on the beach. Good breakfast. Service clueless- it looked like nobody new what’s going on, hardly spoke any English or Spanish. Also super unfriendly. This was a pretty unpleasant experience. Upon arrival I felt like they were upset I actually arrived, and upon leaving one of the guys working there was literally trying to push me out of the door (it was late at night and I wanted to make sure the taxi that was waiting for me was actually the one I called, but the guy was rushing me out and trying to close the door, btw the taxi wasn’t the one I called, so I felt unsafe). This is a super weird place run by weird crowd. If you book the cheapest room it might be worth it, but I wouldn’t recommend paying for anything above that- my mistake.
